I found another old conversation I had, here it is, but I warn you, it's long...

! Yes another reaction! Im really happy we getting more of it!

But please remember OG Katarina's Good deed's not only the Bad ones

And please PLEASE for the Love of Akatosh don't trie to justify Katarina's Exile as if it was anything but in act of complete and crulety!

As a person who haven't read much of the manga nor the Light Novels, and only with prior knowledge from the anime, I have zero clue of what was OG Katarina's deeds that were not bad. I would appreciate it if I were to be enlightened with some of these facts I do not know about.

First of when Katarina was younger Baron sherry came to house Claes to force Anne in to a Forced Marriage that played out In OG Fl

The same way it did in they Anime,what you may not know is that the Mann he tried to marry her of to was already above 60 years! And known for committing Domestic Violence on his previous Wifes,So little OG Katarina stood up to protect her lowly Maid who is nothing more than a Commoner point from a grown ass scary looking Adult,

She also never bullyd Sophia despite the rest of Sociar Nobility Children doing it

She even told her own grown clique to leave Sophia alone as she was the little sister of her fiances best friend

Which is more than Geordo ever did for the Ascards,

She encouraged Sianna Nelson daughter of the lowest ranked Noble family in all of Sociar after seeing her hard work

And Sianna became Katarina's best friend despite being just one single step about a Commoner in her status

Which shows that even OG Katarina cared more about a persons personality than status when choosing friends

She only gets on trial in the routes were Maria tries it with either Katarina's Fiance or adopted Brother or both

And that with the Alan was just a miss translation when the Harem route was meant

First of,apparently no matter which route you choose Maria's actuall first crush was Katarina even in the FL time line

Second the more obvious Katarina only behaved the way she did in the Game because of Raphael/Sirius dark magic

Hold it... the dark magic thing makes too much sense.

Since OG Katarina's exagerated actions towards OG Maria were out of character for her if what you said is true.

It would also explain why an trained swordsman like OG Geordo would Kill OG Katarina instead of disarming her despite being (probably) skilled enough for it...

OG Keith magic going crazy is more easily believable.

So...everything bad that happened with OG Katarina can be traced back to Sirius (well...traced to the mage whispering in his ear but still).

I already have great sympathy for both OG Katarina and OG Maria.

if both rumours are true that scaled even higher...

Yea i used to hate OG Maria,ans she certainly is a coward but...

After hearing about it i most say it turned the whole thing in an even greater tragedy...

Can you imagen your first love being killed for being mean to you...?

Also Katarina only tries to kill OG Maria in the Bad ending

Meaning she is already sentenced to Exile = death for a spoiled Duke Daughter

Meaning even Dark Magic can only bring Katarina to kill Maria if Maria has already become the catalyst for her own demise not before....

I think dark magic was involved from the beginning.

OG Katarina being mad at OG Maria in Geordo's route makes sense ( and it's completly fair), but it makes little sense in the Keith's route.

OG Katarina disliked OG Keith and OG Maria wasn't the first woman he courted, so it still is out of character for her.

And the Exile ending has Keith/Geordo print all over it, because they both disliked OG Katarina and i have a hard time beliving OG Maria resented Katarina's treatment.

Also i would not go as far as to call OG Maria a coward, after her magic manifested she had no positive human interaction at all...

The people of her village avoided because of her magic, her supposed existence because of an affair or both.

Her father left and her mother couldn't even look at her in the eye.

So she had a combo of critically low self esteem and affection starved.

Also the only routes that OG Maria was in the wrong in my opinion are Geordo and Alan (since both are betrothed to another)

Since the choice is player based we can only speculate.

About the 'see dark magic thing', Fortune lover is a video game and Raphael/Sirius is an hidden capture target.

I don't know how the route is unlocked, but if it's supposed to be hidden maybe OG Maria needed to unlock a certan skill level or achieve something that allowed her to see dark magic.

If it was that obvious it would be a pretty on the nose hidden route for a video game.

My theory is that OG Maria 'persuit' of the capture targets was more on her need to have an good human connection (aka out of loneliness and desperation).

So i assume the hidden route would apear when she achieved enough self confidence/resolve to do so.

I don't see the OG Maria that would hide behind a capture target as having that conviction.

The Isekai Maria on the other hand confronted Sirius alone by her own will power (Bakarina's kindess gave her the confidence boost) and that Maria is the one that we are sure can see dark magic.

Because of that i belive that OG Maria needed to make the other capture targets lives and selves better without losing to her loneliness, then she would be able to truly help Raphael. (but that is just my theory)

Also, since we are sharing theories.

Three things that always made me scratch my head:

- All routes have a single rival (except Katarina that apears in two)

- All routes rivals share their element with the capture target (except Katarina[earth] in Geordo[fire] route)

- In 'Verge of destruction' another rival apears and is interested in Geordo and acts like what one would expect from a villainess (Noelia[fire])

I have a theory for that (again i treat Fortune Lover as a video game)

I think in the test/beta version of the game Katarina is the rival in Keith's route and Noelia is the rival in Geordo's route.

But since Katarina would be the sister rival it would overlap in base concept with Sophia and Nicol, and the somewhat similar stage presence of Villain Katarina and Villain Noelia would create another redundancy,

so i assume the developers scrapped Noelia as an character and transfered some of her dialogue to Katarina.

Noelia doesn't apear in the Base isekai because Bakarina apeared before the game started, but she apears in the Verge of destruction because the game already started and Bakarina's apearance glitched the game back to the Beta because it needed someone in the Villain role.

That is a difficult question, but i will do my best.

Warning it will be a long comment...

Lets start with a simple but complicated question: what makes people fall in love?

- Do they treat you different form everyone else?

- Do you admire something about them?

- Do you just enjoy their company more then usual?

- Do you share a connection with them?

- Do they complete you in a significant whay?

With those questions in mind:

- OG katarina kinda fits on the first, others where moved by envy, self importance or self steem issues , Katarina might have seen OG Maria as a threat to her future, so she was the first to take her seriously and more than just a cute face with undeserved magic.

- That is easy to answer, OG Katarina AND Bakarina are so unapologetic themselves that someone like Maria that works hard to be accepted can admire they carring their hearts on their sleeve.

- That is a hard NO, i fear.

- They have the contrast connetion, Katarina is a proud high rank noble, but has weak magic and worse academics, Maria is a shy humble commoner, but has a rare and powerful magic and excells academically, in short they don't fit exacly in their expected envioment.

- Again OG Katarina and Bakarina have the confidance that Maria lacks, they are proud of themselves despite many believing that outside of their title there is very little to be proud of, Maria has a lot of skills and despite having them she still does't fell that is enough.

Or Maria would fall in love for no reason a all, love is weird.

That wall of text tries to explain why OG Maria would fall for OG Katarina.

But now as to why OG Katarina was the first:

All capture targets didn't take OG Maria seriously, they were dismissive ( Geordo[the see everything grey 'perfect' prince], Nicol[way to focused on his sister], Alan[self steem issues]) or saw her as another petty face (Keith[the flirty playboy]), OG katarina took her seriously, BAD seriously but still.

Because they took longer to open up to OG Maria, any points that require them showing their stories delayed the love route, BUT OG Katarina basically roars what she is about with little regard for anything.

On the begining the "enjoy company" part is on the negative for everyone (including OG katarina) so no point for anyone

Again BOTH OG Katarina and Bakarina are open books, aka easier to understand and relate than the others.

Put all that with OG Maria's unhealty lack of human affection...it's possible.

TL,DR: i belive that is possible that OG Katarina would be OG Maria first crush, not a very healty one but still.

Hmm...

There are two Capture targets (Geordo and Keith) and two Endings (Exile and Death)

I will answer both questions depending on the combinations.

-Exile(General)

Disapointed in OG Maria, she doesn't look like the kind of person that would want OG Katarina exiled(or even resent her for that matter), but probably let it go because either she was convinced by her current lover or didn't want to risk put her current situation at risk, but i really belive she will feel guilty(specially in Geordo's route) and really worried for Katarina.

Very Worried/sad for OG Katarina, she got her life ruined and now has to survive in a place she doen't know, since she is a spoiled noble that cant end well. As a bonus, if there was dark magic, it wasn't even her fault at all.

-Exile(Keith)

Angry at OG Keith, while he had fair reasons to hate OG Katarina, saying he went overboard is an undestatment, since he actually had worse before the Claes took him in. And OG Katarina probaly treated him bad because she saw him as proof of her father's infidelity and causing indirect pain to her mother( both undestandable since she was 8 and i belive her mother encoraged her to it).

IF dark magic gave him a push then i feel kinda bad for him too.

-Exile(Geordo)

JUMP OFF A CLIFF, OG Geordo is implied to have little to no care to anyone until OG Maria apeared, aka he used OG Katarina as a tool and i belive that her exile in this case was more to break the engagement without a hit on his reputation and not because of her treatment of OG Maria(because again i dont think Maria would want this).

Even if there was dark magic, he was using and manipulating OG Katarina before any interaction with Sirius, so i repeat...JUMP OFF A CLIFF.

-Death(general)

Feel really bad for OG Maria, she was alone for most of her life, found a first love in OG Katarina that despised her (fairly in Geordo's route), saw said first love DIE RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER by the hands of her present love after the former tried to KILL HER, so she will blame HERSELF for Katarina's death, and now her present lover goes in a self imposed exile leaving her totally ALONE AGAIN.

(put that girl on suicide watch, therapy of both geez)

As a bonus (since the murderer left) she will have to endure the repercutions of the nobility alone.

Do i even need to explain OG Katarina...poor girl watched her life being ruined little by little, tried to kill the reason her life was ruined(in her eyes) and said murder atempt wasn't really her choice (dark magic) and then DIED FOR IT. Hope she finds peace...

Death(Keith)

Conflicted between furious and sad for OG Keith, if my memory serves right OG Katarina was killed because he lost control (maybe had dark magic involved) when trying to protect OG Maria.

Dude was tortured in his original home, got a new one where the mother and the older sister didn't treat him well and now he killed his sister and he didn't even mean it. Now he leaves the only one that actually treated him well out of guilt (kinda a dick move on Keith's part but still)

Death(Geordo)

do i even need to go in detail...

Be honest Geordo, you wanted Katarina gone, just not like that because it would reflect bad on you, are you leaving out of guilt or because you are fleeing the consequences.

As a bonus you are leaving Maria behind to deal with the repercution of YOUR actions.

Forget the cliff...JUMP ON A VOLCANO

I guess my opinion in OG Geordo is showing...

If OG Maria ever becomes so powerful in light Magic that she could see all 3 timeliness from her own Birth to 100 after in one moment, how would she feel about it than ?

What the hell...i will do them all ( i think there are 4 timelines)

Before the academy

- Maria would be horrified to see what would happen because of her. But also would know both Keith and Katarina need her help.

She maybe would try to at least clear the air about Keith being Katarina's half brother, then Katarina could apologise, and Maria would try to protect Katarina from Geordo (poor girl needs it) i don't know if katarina would listen to her. I don't see this Maria going for Geordo, she maybe would try her luck with Keith, Katarina or both.

One detail Maria lacks confidence to do it, but she both cares about them and feels like she owes it to them to do her best, and Maria is a hard worker.

Before the endings(Keith's route)

- This time she would try her hardest to convince Keith to leave Katarina alone, or at least not insist on the exile. And would still try to save Katarina from Geordo. I don't see her relationship with Keith being afected in a meanfull way, but i am not sure if she will try to become friends with Katarina, both because she knows Katarina deslikes her now and because she feels like she does't deserve to become katarina's friend.

Before the ending(Geordo's route)

- Again would try to save Katarina, but this time i dont think she herself would feel save around someone like Geordo, even if he does care about her, not sure if the relationship would end but she would be weary of him at least, maybe even try to hold him back on his more malicous tactics to protect others from him.

After the ending(Keith's route - Exile)

- She would try to convince Keith to help her find Katarina or go herself, to at least see if she is ok and if not would assist her even if Katarina refused. Maria would be sad if Keith didn't try to help his sister, but she would understand (and would help Katarina alone)

After the ending (Geordo's route - Exile)

- Again would try to find Katarina, Geordo hardly would help and more so to apease Maria. This has a high chance to put a strain in their relationship. Since this Maria now knows that Geordo didn't gave Katarina the respect she deserved, and now sees a side of the prince she doesn't like.

After the ending (Keith's route - Death)

- Maria would be in a bad place,with extreme guilt and alone, but she would try to find Keith because she knows he is also in a bad place and she feels like she owes to at least stop him from doing something stupid, someone died because of her, she won't let another.

After the ending (Geordo's route - Death)

- By far the worst case for Maria's mental health, Katarina died because of her, and all because she fell for a man that didn't really deserve it.

This Maria has little to fight for now for and needs urgent therapy.

Oh...my bad, i assumed you meant the game timelines.

Assuming the other timeline was the isekai one.

General

Maria would be confused with some key differences between Bakarina and OG Katarina.

Before the academy and before the Exile endings.

She would try harder to save/befriend OG Katarina because she now knows a more friendly and kind person is in there (since i belive OG Katarina and Bakarina ARE the same person just raised differently and in different envioments)

Still would help OG Keith and maybe score both.

OG Geordo will get some help from her in this case, because now she knows a the is a version of Geordo that can be better person.(Still don't think she would end up with him though)

The biggest impacts (emotionaly wise) would be in the death's endings.

OG Maria would feel even worse than in my other analysis.

In Keith's route - i am not sure if she would try to help OG Keith in his exile here because now she knows she took all the wrong choices and maybe she is now too terrified to make things even worse.

In Geordo's route - This somehow is worse than the previous one. Because now she knows:

1 - OG Katarina was an extremely kind person inside and had things been different would be an amazing friend or maybe more (and died because of her bad choices).

2 - OG Geordo HAD a possibility of becoming a better person and he got worse (again her choices didn't help there)

3 - The rest of the Isekai harem could have become good friends and companions to her (not in this continuity)

In short, knowing what could have been (and won't because of her) would break what is left of OG Maria spirit.

And i agree her soul and generally Personality are the same,

She just hasn't 17 extra years of maturity

And how could the death ending even happen if she has this knowledge before the start

Or even before Katarina's trial Hamefur Maria loves Bakarina

It isn't very clear in verge of doom but in both setting's Maria is definitely happier with Katarina around

Than in all good endings of FL,

So i refuse to believe she would be willing to damned the Woman who is the only one she ever truly loved in all possible timeliness

As the happy ending's in FL don't make her seem all that happy....

But what do you think....?

I don't discont the death ending because there is a dark mage lurking in the corner.(maria isn't aware of them)

And yes, she is happier with Katarina around indeed.

I think the exile is more of fault of OG Keith ( verge of doom Keith shows his deslike of her, and if dark magic was involved then it would take much)

The Exile in OG Geordo's route had the prince's print all over it, even without dark magic, heck in verge of doom the first think that comes to his mind when Katarina 'changed' is "I can still use her"(...Fk you Geordo...)

The Verge of doom characters the same as the Game counterpart until Bakarina changed them.

As for the endings i don't think "happy" is the right word for OG Maria.

She went from being bullied and alone to finally have a person that cares for her (up from zero) and said person is most likely protecting her from the bullies.

Her life overall improved, BUT only 1 person cares for her so she still lonely and the Katarina issue makes her sad.

So less 'happy' and more 'content' in my opinion.

Its like if someone survived with only water and bread their whole life and now has milk and buttered bread, its and improvement and their are 'content' (but still less than ideal)

And I said she saw everything about all 3 time lines at once

Meaning she has to be aware of Sirius

Because he's clearly shown atleast in Hamefura

I can't judge, Maria is my favorite pair with Katarina too.

I also believe she would go for Katarina given the chance.

Now i must also confess my bias.

Maria and Keith is my second favorite pair for Maria (katarina is the first).

So she scoring both is a victory triangle for me.(i also enjoy Keith and Kata)

Given what i already told i think you can gues why ?

Given Keith is desperate for love to such a point

And he think's of Maria as the only one who can save him and that he has so many rivals

If she in the middle of it all declared privately that she be willing to choose over all other's but under one condition

He's most likely to accept any condition even if that condition is to make his scorned adoptive Sister a part of the deal.....

That also had the effect that Katarina would still be under the Protection of house Claes

Which would make Geordo unable to harm her in the same way he did with the trial

Something else are now constantly having a discussion in Stranger Wager's comment section

So the least we could do is ask her if she want to take part in or if she even is okay with it,

Yes he is affection starved as well, and according to Bakarina:

"When he grew up he became quite the playboy in order to bury his loneliness and when he entered the academy, he met the heroine. The heroine healed his lonely heart and became the first person Keith ever truly loved..."

Hamefura Chapter 2

It's not like Keith believed that Maria would save him, it's more like she saved him and them he fell for her.

But i agree that he would accept Katarina in that cenário for three reasons:

1 - Maria saved him so it would be hypocrite of him to not let her save Katarina.

2 - If the misundestanding is cleared and Katarina apologised, he is capable of giving her a chance (verge of destruction shows that).

3 - That would make Maria happy, and maybe that is enough.

I agree with the last part too (this is the longest dicussion i participated in that didn't involve the autor lmao)

The song starts when Wilhelm is in Erik's room, while he burns the picture of his brother and August. It's fitting that the lyrics are partly about death, about telling people not to miss the dead person. Wilhelm misses Erik so much though. This is a good choice for a season that is going to be a lot about grieving. And the "Is it God that you see?" when we get to August sending messages to Wilhelm asking him to forgive him: yeah, will there be a redemption for you?

So I discovered during this analysis that it is not a little snippet of a song that Simon created but the cover of an actual Swedish song ^^ He sings it while Marcus is listening in his back. The song reflects completely what Simon is feeling: the break up happened just before the Christmas break, so not that long ago, and he's still feeling so heartbroken. But he doesn't want to keep feeling that way, he doesn't want this painful situation to happen again (seems fateful that it is when Marcus enters the picture: Simon says it there, he will not fall in love and get his heart broken again, so too bad for you Marcus, but you will not get a love story here! Simon will say it himself later on in the season "why can't I fall in love with him?"). The entire song is actually super interesting lyrics-wise because it's about getting over a break up, feeling betrayed by someone who lied, and deciding that you actually deserve better. "Please stop stressing me, I need to breathe... First you wanna leave, now you wanna stay?": it's really about an ex who doesn't know what he wants and keeps changing his mind, changing the rules. Which is what Wilhelm is kinda doing (saying it's not him in the video to the world but then coming to Simon to ask to keep things going, and the the whole beginning of this season where he's gonna try to get Simon's back even though his situation hasn't changed). So yeah these 2 first songs of the season are really fitting to both characters and a very good idea of what the season is gonna be about : angry and grieving Wilhelm vs heartbroken, betrayed (but trying to find his boundaries) Simon

A song with very suggestive lyrics, which less very little to the imagination about what the students are gonna get up to at this party ^^' "Ripe for the picking even when I'm not in season": can we also talk about Sara getting her initiation and being thrown into this classist privileged Hillerska life while still being an outsider? There lyrics feel like some kind of metaphor for her wanting so badly to be integrated, to feel ready for that. Or to think she's ready for that, while the reality might not be the same.

The infamous karaoke "date". I like that the first sentences are sung by Marcus, because yes he got immediately interested in Simon after meeting him. But then he passes the mic to Simon who has to sing "cut me like a knife" and, he doesn't know it yet, but Marcus is quite toxic in the end. He is not gonna treat him well at all, not gonna respect him and his boundaries. Their "relationship" is not gonna help him or heal him at all, it's just gonna hurt him. And we cannot ignore the very (NOT) subtle lyrics when Wilhelm watches the Insta story of them singing: "it's not real". Because it's not. It's not a date. It's not love. It's nothing. And yeah, he's gonna be under the "illusion" of them being together and happy, but it's nothing more than that, an illusion. (And special mention to Wilhelm going feral and threatening the whole monarchy because his ex-boyfriend is on a date: Wilhelm baby, I love you so much!)

So this song is for the end credits of the episode but it's an amazing one and so important! We just saw Wilhelm yell at his mother and threaten the Courts because he doesn't want to be Crown Prince, doesn't want the responsibilities, doesn't want to be a puppet to them, doesn't want to sacrifice Simon and their relationship. And the first lyrics feel fitting: he's mad (and the lights in this bedroom are red and twisty: what better image to represent the rage coiling inside of him at this moment?), he "woke up" after being faced with the reality of the consequences of his lying about the sex tape. With the reality that Simon is on a date with someone else. And gosh yeah, these people, your own mother, they hurt you so badly and made you feel helpless. Making you follow their orders with not agency of your own. But you're gonna be so brave, and different, and strong! I love the chorus "I'm the voice in your head" because he's angry and screaming and threatening but nothing is very effective in the end (we'll see that next episode). He doesn't seem to have power yet. But if he listens to the little voice inside, if he takes the time to do that (and he will! Thanks to Boris for helping him doing some introspection and realizing things), he will realize that the power is here, deep inside him. That the strenght to do what's right for him, for Simon, well he has it. He just needs to close his eyes, reach inside and "take it"

do you have any advice on how to overcome internalized homophobia? I’m a bi woman but I have a hard time accepting I’m bi, idk I always felt very strongly about gay rights but didn’t realize until recently I actually really like women and it kind of freaked me out….. the dread that wells up within me is actually kind of terrifying. I have conservative parents who are just casually homophobic but I mean they would never physically harm me or directly confront me about being gay but I think their casual indifference and disdain still left a deep impression on me. I had a girlfriend when I was 16 and my then girlfriend’s mom was really homophobic and to this day it’s painful to think about. Also I guess I always pinged as gay to lots of my classmates because at every school I was enrolled in during high school I always got mocked for being gay/into women. Well. I think I’ve always known I’m bi but not until recently did I realize I actually want to be with women. Do you have any advice how to build yourself up after such instances? How do I extend love to myself and accept myself while still remaining closeted and not having any sort of community in my social life…. I want to move out and live with people my age and make queer friends but I don’t even know where to start. I get so jealous seeing other people happy in relationships with supportive communities and families, which makes me a bad person I know but I just wish I had the guts to actually invest time and energy to build the life I want 😭

i'm going to be very real w you i may not be the very best person to ask. yes, i'm a bi woman whose closeted to my family, so we're on the same page as far as that goes, but i think based on this ask thar you're in a bit more of an extreme situation than me. my parents would describe themselves as liberal as far as economic status goes but they've definitely got an implicit bias towards the lgbt community and it has showed ever since i was a kid......i honestly do not know what they would do if they knew i was bisexual, idek if i would have a relationship with them at all. so I find it hard to offer any concrete advice on building yourself up after coming out bc, obviously, i haven't even gotten there myself - i'm out to some friends and stuff but not to family. i think more than anything we're in the same boat, i daydream about moving out and meeting queer friends too, it is a really really difficult position to be in. i wanna say the only thing i've done in the last 2 yrs go sort of expand my horizons is go to gay bars - though i have to get the train for 40 min to get to to one - and try and get in contact with any sort of lgbt support or community, even online.

something i want to impress is that you don't have to talk about your sexuality to anyone unless you're comfortable doing so. for the longest time i felt like i was betraying everyone by not immediately announcing it - being bi - but i've come to learn that is truly just. my business?? and not even a big deal to most ppl??? i often feel so perverted, so wrong, so just like. ashamed of experiencing same-sex attraction, but genuinely - we don't owe that information to anyone unless we decide for ourselves that it's relevant to that particular dynamic. it's really really hard for me to accept, and i still find it hard to even say "i'm bi" out loud. but i think i just want you to know w this message that i at least somewhat get it and that you're not doing anything wrong by just like. being who you are and doing what you can to get by authentically. sending a massive hug your way - if you want to talk about this more, feel free to message me anytime!! x

hoped he’d be your last It was the next day and you were getting ready to go to the diner. Little did you know Elvis was already there and hell was he nervous. His palms were sweaty and he was waiting around the diner sitting in a booth sure maybe.

He was an hour early but… you’re never too early when it comes to a pretty girl. Especially one with a high status wouldn’t wanna keep her waiting.

He honestly wondered what a girl like you, saw in a boy like himself his friend scotty said it was probably just because you felt sorry for him. but that couldn’t be it right, he had some hope that you saw more in him than a truck driver.

When you finally arrived after an hour he was overjoyed. not that you were late elvis was just genuinely happy the wait was over. he smiled softly as you sat with him “hey, you look beautiful today.” he said as you sat down next to him. You gave him a small smile as he handed you two roses they were pink and white

.” i huh i know it ain’t much but they reminded me of you…” he said shyly as he looked up from his lap and saw a light blush creep up your cheeks. he smiled softly at you. as the waitress came and took your order. funny enough you both ordered the same thing before. even telling each other you smiled softly and spoke up.

“ so you were free today? No work?” You asked. He chuckled softly “hm, no not today i huh I’ve been working on some songs, so me and ma friends were gonna work on some more songs” he said and played with his napkin.

He watched you nod your head and smile softly at the older boy. “Are you a singer?” You asked and payed your full attention to him leaning on the table slightly. Elvis nodded his head and gave you a shy smile “u-uh I.. I mean yeah! You might be hearin’ one of ma songs on da radio soon enough, I promise we’re good” he said. His voice filled with excitement yet still so calm and full of shyness. He saw you smile at him as your full attention was on him.

When your food finally came you both ate in silence to shy to ask one another something. But it wasn’t an uncomfortable silence, it was a nice silence so you two sat there in silence finishing your food up. Until Elvis decided to speak up again. “So what about you..?” He asked shyly looking at you trough his eyelashes.

He admired you he truly did, he thought you were pretty and even though she seemed quite simple he just knew there was so much more to. You then you think then anyone else thinks.

“Uhm.. well I’m in school or well homeschooled… I just work very hard on school and well my horse riding classes and uhm ofc my piano and violin classes can’t forget about those overal I don’t have that much of an exciting life…” she said shyly. And Elvis looked at her and let out a soft chuckles. “You know how to ride a horse I’d say that’s very impressive” he said making the girl across him blush.

After you and Elvis finished your food and your conversation he walked you home. He was the sweetest most gentle boy you’d met in your. Whole 17 years of existing and you couldn’t help but wonder what he saw in you.

“sooo what kinda house you got?” he asked purely out of curiosity. you giggled and looked at him “i got a white house… with blue shutters and my room is overlooking the river so i can paint..” you smiled softly “and oh we got a big ‘old porch wrapped around the entire house.. where me and my mama sit… we drink tea and we often watch the sunset.

he smiled softly and nodded at you.”oh and you met my dog honey.. yeah yeah she’s a she’s somethin else i also have a cat he’s pretty new to the family but he’s real cute he doesn’t really do anything but lay. around he’s a baby you see.” you said and Elvis nodded and chuckled.

sadly the two of you reached your house. you sighed softly it wasn’t a sad sigh at all tho just out of comfort. Elvis chuckled and looked at you, “well goodnight” you said just above a whisper. he smiled at you and laid a hand on your cheek softly stroking it.

“Goodnight my lil butterfly” he said the same way you did. just above a whisper as he leaned in, you stood on your tippy toes as your lips connected and a light tint of crimson made it’s way up your cheeks. after a minute or so he pulled away as you walked inside.

it sound stupid seeing he dropped you of at your litteral door step, but he made sure you got inside cus allot can happen between those five minutes of him walking to his car.

the minute you got inside you leaned against the door and let out a soft giggle.

he was your first kiss and you sure hoped he was your last.

holy shit okay,,, so i actually have a whole procedure planned out for this + scoping out locations and route maps irl and learning how to hotwire a bus (ofc i only think about this a normal amount what are you talking about haha).

there's this huuuge supermarket that's located in the middle of nowhere so fewer zombies, so that would be the first place i hit to grab all the non-expiring canned food + high calorie stuff and a gas stove. and then since there's a bus parking space nearby i'd go there to steal one. buses are obviously the most safe option where i live because you can keep all your friends with you + luggage space + less damage when ramming into something. and then i'd go to this one statue place that's in the middle of a hugeass lake, and swim my way there since i'm assuming zombies won't be able to cover that big of a distance nor hear us from so afar. yada yada you get the gist of things lmao ksdjfnksjdf

anyways, i'd probably try to outlast the zombies without direct interaction, but if i run outta supplies or it seems like i'm going to get bitten or if it just gets too much, i'd probably try to take out as many zombies as possible with me lmao.

ooooh!!! i think i'm pretty flexible with the kind of people i like spending time with but some things i'd definitely prefer is someone who has a sense of humour (i laugh at everything and i love cracking jokes so this person should ideally enjoy the same haha), someone who is passionate and driven (it could be about anything in the world literally, i just love being able to support people's interests), someone who is kind (and i don't mean a goody two shoes, just someone with basic empathy and compassion), and someone who shares at least a couple of interests with me (could be animanga, reading, music, adventure, etc because i really love doing things together with people and just gushing for hours nonstop about some random thing).

Wait as an Athenian I wanna know what stereotypes other areas towns and cities have of us! I already know what some arw gonna be (πρωτευουσιανοι and all that) but I'm curious if certain areas anything specific for us!

ahahahha okaay! Let the salt commence! These are stereotypes (and we all know what that means) so please, Athenians I speak with, don't feast on my carcass, please and thank you xD I obviously know dozens and dozens of Athenians and have family there, so I am drawing from the experience of many similar occasions and what other non-Athenians have told me. I will speak about the urban center.

Let me start with the positives because they are not too many 😂😂😂😂😂 (okay there are many, I just feel I don't need to explain them that much!)

Obviously Athens is full of creative and strong people, people who have decided to get by in life no matter what, and I admire them for that quality. Fast-paced environments and chaos is not as big a challenge to them. I mentioned that the North is very resilient as well. The truth is we are all resilient, just in different ways, depending on our environment and I love seeing these differences.

Athens has all sorts of people so you can find all the good qualities there. Athens can be hard to withstand for many different reasons - especially if you struggle with a physical and/or mental illness, and/or poverty - but Athenians rise through the hardships. Whatever new thing comes from Exoteriko, they grab it by the horns and bend it to Greek standards.

Ok, onto the bad ones! The grace period is over 😈

Athenians are out of touch the way US is out of touch with the rest of the world. Like, there's just "them and the countryside (Επαρχία)" although the Επαρχία literally includes Thessaloniki with 1 mil people. They also treat Thessaloniki, one of the major Balkan urban centers, as if it's a primitive village that one doesn't even need to visit just because it's not as big as Athens. The whole country goes to Athens once in their life but Athenians don't feel like they have to go somewhere. Some are... I'd say... shocked when they find innovation and excellence up here, let's stay at that :P

Two Athenians I've spoken with so far didn't know what a Poliouchos is... I mean Athens has a Poliouchos as well but they might not notice that other towns have a Saint just like they do and each town has its own Saint?

Sometimes they take this sad face "oh... you don't have THAT in the countryside, don't you?" and it feels offensive if we have it and offensive if we don't xD Or "oh! You have that, too, like in Athens?" Like..... yes dude, we also have running water and cars, thank you very much. Sometimes they might ask you "how did you expect me to know??" Like bruuuh it's your freaking country, and you should be aware of things outside of Athens!

Or they assume that because there's a certain microclimate in Athens, that this climate is on the whole of Greece. And they tell tourists weather stuff about the whole country regarding temperatures and snow that only apply to Athens and a few nearby areas.

Some 25+ year-old Athenians think that being an Athenian gives you status in the eyes of other Greek areas - no it absolutely doesn't 😂 - and they might be ashamed if they show some culture/mannerisms/words from their village in front of other Athenians. Or if a non-Athenian does something that's not usual in Athens, they go "ooh you guys do THAT over there!" in a manner of a white American lady says "how adorable!" 😂😂

Or they insist on carrying themselves with a certain attitude of "hello my humble peasant subjects" when they return to their birthplace or visit other areas for tourism, as though they feel that if they don't do it they will shame THE PROTEOUSA.

Sometimes it shows in series and movies - that are obviously produced in Athens - of an Athenian going somewhere "away from civilization" to clear their soul or find a person opposite to them, and this special exotic place is Sparti or Sifnos or whatever random place the other half of Greece lives in.

Although there's some exaggeration in the previous idea, sometimes it is true that you can tell whether someone is an Athenian from how uptight they are because they are used to a constantly moving and busy environment.

That being said, Athens is not THAT busy compared to most capitals and Important places around the world. Some Athenian professionals are so dedicated and such high achievers that perhaps they think they live in NY, Hong Kong, or Brussels. Chiiiill my guys, chill.

Actual discussion I had with a friend: Me: You know these Athenians came and they were like... like.. Him: Like Athenians, you mean? Me: YES, THANK YOU, YOU GET IT

And let me sneak in the fact that "σε λέω" is more grammatically correct than "σου λέω" because "σε" was evolved first from the ancient form and "σου" came second✨

I hope this doesn't come across as mean spirited in any way, just wanted to add to a discussion and need to get these thoughts off my chest after seeing your Saltburn post.

After reading/listening to a bunch of interviews/q&as with Barry Keoghan and Emeral Fenell i'm pretty sure that at least the intention was that he's not 100% honest with himself/us in that monologue and it shouldn't be taken at face value.

For one Barry has said something like that Olivers motivation changes throghout the film and that he (Oliver) is often confused and not completly aware of what he really wants.

Emerald has said multiple times that the first idea about the film she had was someone saying "i didn't love him" and then licking that persons bathtub and that therefore that that person's obviously not being entirely truthful and that line is part of how he starts the monologue so i'm pretty sure we aren't supossed to take the whole thing at face value.

I can't remember which of the multiple live q&as you can find on youtube it is but i also remember her responding in a after the film q&a to someone seemingly having that same read of the film i've seen so many people have of Oliver being a mastermind that had this whole plan laid out from the start and she said something like that it was in part actually more like responsive to the situation from moment to moment

Like it starts with him seeing Felix and being like "i wanna get closer to that guy" and since he has seemingly always just been good at knowing what people want and giving it to them (another thing emerald has been reapeating in a lot of q&as) he knows that setting up the bike and drinks at the bar situation and a sob story of a family backgroud will get Felix's attention but then like he always does Felix get's bored and starts pulling away so Olivers like "aw fuck what do i do? oh i know just up the story by saying my dad died" and that does make Felix invite him to Saltburn but that wasn't like the concious end goal of that action he just wanted to get Felix's attention back in that moment and i don't believe Felix dying in any way was a concious goal at any other time but pretty much right before he did it. His obsession with him comprising of part loving him, hating him and wanting to be him just escalated to that point.

Now, you could say that with so many (hard to say but maybe even the majority of) people "misunderstanding" the film/that part as him accuratly, sincerly and 100% honestly revealing that he masterminded and planned the whole thing from pretty much the beginning that they (Emerald & Co.) just did a bad job of getting that across which would be fair.

As someone that didn't read the film/monologue that way and then was validated by all the q&as i've seen i can't lie that it hasn't been at least a little frustating that so many people "misread" that part (or take it "too" honestly) but i would say that it's more the fault of the film actually not making that intention clear enough. Also "death of the author" and all that, i guess.

But i would recommend checking out all the after film q&as with Emeral Fenell you can find on youtube anyway if you're interested.

P.S 100% agree what you said about Felix tho

hey, not mean-spirited at all! i’m always open to discussion, media analysis is rarely about being right or wrong :)

it could surely be read in that way - i have not seen the q&a’s, i’ll check them out! i think i personally focused on the class commentary because of how much of a trend it is in cinema at the moment. discussions of social status and class have always been apart of media (i was talking about maupassant in my previous post, which goes all the way back to the 19th century), but it has become more prevalent in mainstream cinema nowadays. everyone is trying their hand at it, and i would argue that parasite winning the oscar for best picture reinforced the idea that class commentary in movies was socially acceptable enough to still win awards.

my main issue with saltburn is that the same story has been done multiple times before, and apart from cinematography, i fail to see what saltburn brings to the table. @tigerfancy mentioned the talented mr ripley earlier in my notes, which i’d forgotten about, but it is very similar and strikes that balance between obsessive, unreliable narrator and mastermind social climber quite clearly. someone i know irl also mentioned summer of 85 (été 85) and how in her eyes, saltburn is essentially a ripoff of that. it’s all inspiration; but seeing all these other stories that deal with this nuance more adequately unfortunately makes saltburn look clumsy in comparison.

maybe oliver is indeed not being 100% truthful, and he didn’t actually mastermind anything beyond his first meeting with oliver up to the point where he is invited to saltburn. personally, though, it does not make the monologue any less gimmicky to me. maybe the intention was not clear enough. maybe saltburn was trying to pull from too many of its inspirations and lost itself along the way. but i totally respect your interpretation of the film! and it would indeed be much better if the monologue at the end is oliver trying to convince himself rather than him revealing earnestly that he masterminded the whole thing.

Also drawing takes long and I just wanna talk. And for those are EN only and don't want any spoilery talk I'll put my ramblings under the cut so you may ignore wild spoilers.

First I'd like to point out that Lilia doesn't seem to have an older looking form in the past so I was right all along that Lilia is a short faery man. Like did you see that silhouette? He's been that short for centuries!

Anyway that aside, I'm very 50/50 on the whole "Is Lilia faking his death, or is his past catching up to him quicker than he expected? Cuz Sebek mentioned that Lilia's old weapon is made of a special material that can change size, so I'm thinking Lilia's old fighting style involed him using his Unique magic so much that someone was like "you're gonna die or overblot if you keep fighting like that" so he switched up his style to be more advantageous to his naturally small size. I feel like that could explain this sudden "Lilia is losing his magic and dying thing" cuz like if fae are mostly made of magic and it takes them long to die without an outside force killing them then I guess a fae that dies of old age is just a fae who's used up all their magic, and if Lilia used to be extremely reckless in the past then it could explain why this sprung up so suddenly. Cuz unlike Idia, Ortho, and Silver, Lilia had zero hints about his status other than complaining about back pain, barely, also no one is able to tell if he's joking or not, so who's to say we were just not paying attention enough to Lilia's actual situation. Then again it still does feel sudden even if we had subtle hints that Lilia is very old, but he has so much energy it's hard to believe that he's fragile, probably cuz Lilia was ignoring it for Malleus' sake and finally decided that Malleus needs to learn how deal with loss so he's just dramatizing his death a bit? Like I don't think he's lying, but I also think he could be using this situation to help teach Malleus a type of life lesson he was putting off for way too long. At least that's my theory on Lilia for now.

I'm also wondering about Silver's origins, and if Lilia was the one that took Silver from his family. He says the ring belongs to Silver, what importance does this ring have to Silver's origins? Does it have dream powers? Is it the key to figuring out Silver's mysterious sleep spells? Was Silver from a human kingdom that was taken over by the Briar Valley and Silver was the only survivor so Lilia took him and his family ring? But like why? I'm also wondering if Silver is a direct descendent of Aurora and Philip. We know Idia is possibly a direct descendent of Hades based on his family curse, since he explains it in a way that sounds closer to what actually happened to Hades in the Hercules movie.

Which leads me into in another thing I've been thinking about, what if the students that overbloted are decendents of the Great Seven? I do remember seeing a translated bit from an interview with Yana were she was talking about the early development of the game and that the original plan for the SSR's was to have the characters with the Disney villains they took inspo from. So I'm wondering if the whole "Crowley is forcing overblots" theory that's been going around might have merit to it. That could explain why characters like Leona and Vil ended up overblotting even though they tend to be very level headed, but Crowley set up an environment that would cuz them to overblot.

"But what about Idia and Ortho that didn't happen in NRC?" HEAR ME OUT I GOT A THEORY! What if Crowley wanted to get STYX involved cuz he needed the Shrouds to merge with the overblot of their ancestor directly cuz of the Shroud family curse preventing Idia from overblotting like the others, so when Ortho started hacking STYX and got Idia to join him in this uprising in the facility, so long as Idia and Grim were involved and had contact with the blot then his plans could be full-filled? Cuz looking back, I'm still wondering WHO WAS CALLING ORTHO TO THE TARTARUS GATE? I don't think it was the real Ortho, the real Ortho shows up when Idia was separated from the blot and was telling Idia to continue living for the both of them, so like WHO WAS CALLING ROBOT ORTHO?!?!

But why would Crowley want to cuz these overblots? Maybe because he's planning something that involves wanting to bring back the Great Seven? What if Maleficent and Hades are the only two of the Great Seven who are still around unlike the others who lived so long ago and are just mortal beings (and Jafar's lamp was destroyed in the sequel). Maybe Grim is the key to Crowley's plan? Maybe it's Crowley who's going to allow Malleus to cause some kind of timeloop? We know Malleus is capable of stopping time, and we know his emotions tend to effect the weather around him, so like maybe Malleus is going freeze NRC not just in time but also literally freeze the area surrounding the campus cuz he doesn't want to be alone, and Crowley might just let it happen.

Cuz Crowley probably knows more than he lets on, after all Maleficent and the Evil Queen had pet crows, so he could be working for someone who wants these overblots to happen.

Well, that's enough of my theory/prediction rambling. I patiently wait for the rest of the chapter to unfold and give me more questions and answers.

Guess now I have no choice but to imagine that Belial used to hook up with a former king of Wales. Think about it: They had a lot of knowledge about the Otherworld. Lucilius did research the Otherworld. Where better to give this intel from than the shady new advisor who is constantly whispering into the king's ear in a low, seductive voice? Hey bestie, I've been thinking about this lately, and I really wanted the advice of a friend. And also anyone else who wants to chip in and give any thoughts on the matter is totally welcome and appreciated to share their feelings about it.

So there's this sexy wonderful guy that I'm gonna be meeting. He's charming and funny and SOOOO CUTE FR. And he's got nothing but green flags, I know a ton about him, his past, his life, what he stands for, the type of man everyone who has met him or knows him says he is and strongly attests to. He's kinda a celeb, (doesn't really see himself that way, but he's got a highly successful TV show and a huge fanbase). Idk if that would make any difference thinking about age, that's why I mentioned it. (Which I will get to.) I'm gonna be meeting with him soon personally, and I really... wanna shoot my shot. I've known him for a while now, and I've fallen hard for him. And I really, really am into him.

The only thing I'm kinda thinking about is our ages... he's... 23 years older than me. He's basically as old as two of me (I'm 21, he's 46), and... the same age as my parents. And I know that can sound iffy or ick, but you really have to just know this man. He's charming and honestly so young at heart, in a good way. And he's aged phenomenally. He looks so hot, just as hot as when he was in his twenties, and his thirties, oh GOD. 🔥 Its a bit weird for me because although I've had celeb crushes on older men, I'm not into OLDER older guys irl that I would actually want to be with. I personally want to be with guys my age for several reasons (that's just my prefference). It just feels weird about the idea of my parents and him if they were ever in the same place. He's never been married, doesn't have any kids. He's definitely in a different place mentally than my parents. He's also been dating off and on, but just never found the right partner.

I don't have feelings for him because of his age or status, I solely am attracted to a specific, rare personality in men. The way he moves, gestures with his hands, the way his eyes gaze, the way he makes expressions, the way he talks, thinks, acts. And he's just... everything. Everything I want. Everything I've ever wanted. I just... this is the first time I have ever realistically wanted to be with an older man. We love the same things, like, all of them. He's everything I have ever wanted in a man, and the man I fell for, he's just in a body that's older than mine. What do you think about this? I swear, its not a creep situation. I'm really jumpy about any sort of thing like that, and yet, I just feel naturally safe with him. He is a great man.

I talked to my mom about me theoretically being with a man her age, and she said it would be really weird and uncomfortable. Which I agree with and see, it would be if and when they would ever meet and be in the same place. But if its just him and I, we feel the same... I've never felt this passionate about any real man besides Tae, or specific fictional characters. He has CONSUMED me. I cannot get enough of his presence.

He's into me, and I am a fully grown adult. We met as fully grown adults. We met at his work, NOT through my parents or anything related to anyone else. We met, he knows no one else in my family or my friends, because we're friends. Should I do what *I* know I want, and go for it?

Tricky situation, I think age doesn’t always matter. My only concern would be that I want you to be careful because you are young and there is a chance he could be using you if he likes you in the same way.

Honestly if it’s something that you both want to try, it’s entirely up to you. People will judge and talk shit but as long as you are safe and happy, it’s your life.

It sounds like you are quite self aware too, which is good because you will need to be in order to protect yourself from potential grooming or negativity.

Cid entered the cafe when she was surprised there was decoration all over the windows and there was a chocolate cake on the table.

"Hey, what's going on here ? If you guys planning for my birthday, then you guys made a mistake. It's on the next three months." Then Hunter spoke "Sorry for this, Cid but we're actually celebrate my girlfriend's birthday."

"Her birthday was supposed to be at January 1st but she was out of the town for family emergency." Omega added. Then Hunter got called by Wrecker "Hunter, I'll pick Tasya right away, she can't wait to see you."

"Got it, buddy.." then he stared at the others "Everyone, get on your postion." Most of them hiding under the table while Crosshair turned off the light.

A minute later, Wrecker opened the door to let Tasya and her cousin to enter. Crosshair quickly turned back the light on and the others jumped in front of them "Surprise !!! Happy birthday Tasya !!!"

Tasya was pleased "Aww, you guys. This is so sweet."

"Happy birthday, honey." Hunter gave her a kiss on her forehead then the couple hugged.

Next, Tasya introduced her cousin to the others "Guys, this is my little cousin, Neville. Neville, these are my friends." They said hi to Neville. "Hi everyone !" Neville said nervously.

Hunter kneeled as stared at Neville "I'm so sorry what happened to your parents. Tasya told us that you would live here. We could do a city tour later, okay ?" Neville responded "Okay."

Next, Omega came to her "Hello Neville ! My name's Omega. I'm his sister." The girls shaked hands "Nice to finally meet you. I heard you're in junior high school, right ?" "Yeah, I'm in 7th grade. Which grade are you ?" "4th grade. I'm going to the new elementary school."

Omega took Neville to have a seat "Look Neville, I know how are you feelin' now. I have no parents either. Just my brother and I living together." "Really ? How do you two through it ?"

"My brother always said as long we have each other, we will find what we looking for." Hunter put his hand on her shoulder "And realize there are good people in this world."

"And these good people wanna give you something special..." Wrecker showed a handmade book with a purple cover.

"Wait, isn't it supposed to be Tasya's birthday ?" Neville was counfused.

Omega nodded "Yeah, but there's one thing that your cousin want to do." "She wanna see you happy as much as her." Echo finished.

Tasya sat besides her cousin "That's right, why don't you read the story that they made ? You love stories, right ?"

Neville stared at the book that still held by Wrecker. She took breath and took the gift. She read the cover it "Bad Batch Enchanted ?" "That's correct, we had a hard time disscussed of the title but we agreed to put our call on it 'Bad Batch'."

"That sounds hurtful." Neville wasn't happy about it. Crosshair spoke "Yeah, but we're getting used to."

Neville sighed "Okay, if you say so..." She read the first page "Once upon a time, there was a beautiful place called 'Wildberry Land' but there was also named Queen Audrey who roled this land. When her stepbrother, prince Wrecker looking for his true love, she was afraid that her role would taken over by another woman..."

During Neville reading, Wrecker whispered to Tech's ear "Do you think she would like it, Tech told him to be quiet "You have to wait until she finished the story." Which Wrecker complained.

Neville chuckled " Meanwhile there's a simple tree house where a young lady named Tasya..." She and Tasya were surprised.

"Aww, you guys. Keep going... " Tasya said.

"Tasya lived in the tree house with the animals, including this cute squirrel named Neville. Okay, I'm in this story too." Neville was so excited.

Inside the tree house, Tasya build her dream prince statue, her future true love's kiss with the help from the animals, including Neville the squirrel.

"Aww, Neville. Can you image meeting with a prince ? We'll holding hands, dancing, this is gonna be perfect."

"Don't forget about the eyes." Neville passed two blueberries to Tasya.

"Thank you, Neville." She put those on the face as the other animals sat "Be hold, my true love prince." She showed her prince statue and they said 'Wow' at the same time.

But Tasya realized there was something missing. "What is it ?" Neville asked "There's no lips on it." Tasya said worried.

One of the rabbits asked her "Does he to have lips ?"

Tasya nodded "Of course." Next, she started to sing about true love prince.

Prince Wrecker hunted a troll that he was chasing along with Crosshair. "There you are, big guy ! I'm gonna get you !" Wrecker screamed.

He gave his horse a sign to run faster, leaving the royal guard behind to do his action. He pointed to their target then threw the net to that troll.

After the net caught a troll, Wrecker put giant rocks around it.

"Oh yeah, that's what I'm talkin' about !" Wrecker cheered.

Wrecker gave Crosshair a high five "Good job, buddy." Crosshair chuckled "It's my nature already, prince." "You got that right !"

Crosshair suggested "We should back to the castle."

But the prince shook his head "No way, we're not doing the reason we're out here. We'll look for a princess. If I find one, I'll marry her and live happily ever after."

"Goody but we don't wanna your stepsister waiting."

"If we find her faster." Wrecker kept going through the forest.

"This is not going well." As Crosshair thinking, he mentioned a troll who still trapped in the net which he had an idea.

As Wrecker riding his horse, he heard a female voice "Did you hear that, buddy ? She's singing beautifully. We should find that voice." He said.

But suddenly he saw a troll was reaseled and following the voice as well "What ? How did he get out from that trap ? We have to save whoever that lady is." He rushed to his destination.

Tasya stared at outside as sit on the bay window then she stared at her true love statue.

"Just image if I met one. It would be a dream comes true..." As she talked, a turtle pointed at a troll peeking through the window, making the animals warned Tasya.

"What's wrong ?"

Tasya stared at the window and was shocked there was a troll "There she is. I'm gonna get you !" The troll broke the window and tried to get her.

Neville took Tasya to out from the roof. The troll thought got a princess but it was just a handmade statue "This is not a princess, it's not fair."

The troll quickly mentioned Tasya and Neville on the roof "I found you !"

Tasya and Neville rushed to climb on the tree and that troll followed them as well which making a tree getting heavy.

Tasya panicked "Help !"

"Do not fear, Prince Wrecker is here to rescue you !" Wrecker showed up.

At the same time, Neville couldn't hold tight the tree anymore which making Troll was threw away from them. Meanwhile Tasya almost fell off the tree.

But luckily, Wrecker caught her in time. Tasya smiled as touched his cheek "You're the prince I've been looking for." He responded "That's right, princess. And you ?" "Tasya."

"Tasya. I like it." Wrecker took Tasya as Neville hop on his horse.

Meanwhile Queen Audrey figured out from the magic ball "No, no, no, no ! I can't let that lady took my role. Unless..." She had an evil laugh as just got an idea.

I get it. I get why my aunt wanted to push back against the negative view I have of my parents and the family most closely associated with them. I understand why she wanted me to consider their side of things - she's a parent too, after all. And it's hard, it really is, to see a child disown their parents instead of the other way around. It's hard to see it the other way around too, don't get me wrong, but like. Kids aren't "supposed" to disown their parents.

I don't doubt that my parents believe with their whole chests that they love me and have done their very best with me - in fact i agree that they did their very best with me that they possibly could have.

Their best was just bad. Because I was self-sufficient it makes sense that they assumed i didn't need their help - wrong though that assumption may be. They were young, they were figuring out what to do next now that they both had a kid and a spouse they weren't super sure they were ready for. I get it.

Also that's her older brother i'm shit talking, and I do acknowledge the things they have done for me that were good. Because even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

But they ignored me, intentionally or not. They dismissed my interests or made fun of them so hard that I not only stopped bringing them up on my own, but I have a hard time engaging with some of them to this day because i was shamed out of enjoying it. They do not ask about what else I do because they do not care to learn if they have anything in common with me anymore.

Dad was passive aggressive as fuck about me setting a reasonable boundary. My aunt was immediately just "Sounds good, I can do that, I wanna hear about your personal life more anyway."

And you know what? I've literally never had any single person in my family do that for me and actually pay attention as I talked and asked me questions about things. And that's what she can't see, when I say that my parents see me only as a status symbol. That's why she pushes back and says that of course it's different - they wouldn't say horrible negative things about me being a leftist/"liberal", queer, Weirdo because I'm their kid.

Except i heard what they said about *her* and she's closer to center than I am. I heard what they said about anyone who was left of where they were. It...was not kind.

at best, they called people stupid for thinking the way they did. Brainwashed. I won't repeat at worst, for my own sake.

Anyone who falls away from their path is unintelligent or gullible or easily swayed and manipulated. Anyone who does not think the way they do after being presented with their facts is an idiot. I am likely labeled both, whether they say the words or not. I have received the patronizing smiles and the polite capitulations that say very clearly that i just don't know what i'm talking about, even if—especially if—i know more on the subject than they do.

I don't blame her, though. And it...didn't hurt as much to have her push back on it. I get it. I didn't want to know these things about my parents either. I didn't want to see it happen at me. I didn't want to realize how things were going.

My parents are not good people. At best they are polite. I will not say what they are at worst. Not tonight.

But tonight I will say that I had one of the most fulfilling conversations with a family member I've ever had. I will say that I felt loved and respected the whole meal. I am looking forward to getting to know her—and everyone else my parents spoke poorly of behind their backs—and have a relationship with her. I'm finally looking forward to the future and it...it looks safe. And filled with family—found and otherwise—who love me.

Tonight I had a good time.

Plus also we looked hella good for being out in a proper sitdown restaurant for the first time since moving up here lol.

Okay I just wanna confess something. The observer interview louis gave - the one where he said he is the 'forgettable one' of 1d, was so unnecessary? To me it kinda felt like tptb used his vulnerability against him, I just saw a post here with journalists 'complimenting' his observer interview and I felt sick to my stomach. I don't know why but that interview solidified all those things that media used to say about him and now he himself said it so it is true then kinda thing, idk if I'm 1/2

making any sense to you. He made a mistake by saying those things, I completely understand he was feeling insecure, but his friends or family should have stopped him from doing that interview, that industry is ruthless and corrupted, so he basically he them a reason for not giving him any chance. Also I strongly believe he isn't the forgettable one. His singles charts nicely before pulling it down unlike someone and many fans loved him only the media & tptb hated him. It’s so hard to look at things objectively now, knowing what we know about what happened 2017-2022. I don’t have answers but only questions, which we can all think about, but I think no one knows.

• When Louis gave this interview, did he believe his solo career was viable? Obviously, since he had “80% of an album done,” he believed in it enough to spend a lot of money and time crafting it.

• And then what? Was Louis going to go part-time solo artist and part-time Simon Cowell Jr.? Do X Factor for a few years? Run his own imprint? Manage smaller artists? Be the go-to guy for a 1D reunion? What was he thinking?

• When the sabotage from Sony started becoming more obvious to him, what was Louis’ response? Did he think of hanging it all up? Did he push on even harder?

• At what point did Louis decide that he was going ahead with Walls, and decide to change his music style? Did he say, fuck it, I’m never going to get fair criticism anyway, so I’ll do what I want? Did he think the fans would support him unconditionally? By 2019, his fanbase was in tatters. What were his expectations?

• Another question is Louis’ view of 1D. Why does he stubbornly hang on to it when his loyalty to 1D is detrimental to his solo career? When Louis is encouraging those who believe in a reunion more so than those who want to support his solo career? He is splitting his fandom in favor of those fans who do not want him to grow, to move on. Why?

• And finally, what about now? Does Louis still have the same insecurities? What is the effect of getting hammered by critics, over and over, year after year, while Harry gets nearly uniform adulation, a ten-fold growth in fans, the general public listening to him and expecting huge numbers, platinum records, stadium tours, while Louis is stuck with, “Too many times in my life, I’ve had to say, right, let’s go again.” What happens to an artist that accepts this as the status quo? When Louis’ TEAM accepts this as the status quo?

Again- these are questions that I wonder about but I have no answers.

i love the concept of f/os but idk how to actually “do it” if that makes sense. there are too many characters i like! a lot of them are like bit parts too or really irrelevant🥲 idk, maybe it’s my own crippling self loathing that makes it impossible for me to imagine myself in a romantic situation? i mean i used to do them in my head all the time, i could maladaptive daydream scenarios with my favorite characters to fall asleep, but now it’s like i “lost” the ability :( i struggle to envision anything or think creatively now at all especially involving anything romantic or myself.

I remember the ask you sent me about frankie and johnny! thank you so very much, darling, I try to curate my blog so that it is as comforting and safe as possible. I want my online experience to be as stress free and happy as it can be and I want others who visit my blog to have the same experience while they're viewing it. the beauty of self shipping is that there is no right or wrong way to do it! you can have as many f/os as you want and they can fulfill any dynamic you would like to have with them (romantic, platonic, familial, etc.) I have all three types, though I don't list the platonic ones on my blog. I also have what I call "switch" or "swing" f/os that do not have a set dynamic because they can/do fulfill more than one (i.e. they can either be platonic or romantic.) the majority of mine are very unknown/unpopular characters as well; the idea behind picking f/os is that they are important to you. I have f/os that no one else does or has ever heard of (probably) and that's okay. I find that I end up liking that better because it feels so much more personal to me.

characters like that tend to present themselves to us and for one reason or another, we feel drawn to or connected with them beyond just liking the character or finding comfort in their films. f/os have a much stronger "vibe" than that for me and maybe that's the case for you too!I'll try to share a bit about my experiences so that you can have a baseline to perhaps determine what it might mean for you, so that you can build your own ideas and experiences!

I am so sorry that you have felt this way about yourself, darling. No one deserves to feel such strong hatred for themselves; self shipping is actually a great way to develop a stronger self-love and improve those negative thoughts by replacing them with positive ones! It was difficult for me at first, but I've been self-shipping since I was very young and most of it was internalized until I discovered there was a public community for it a couple years ago. I went through this same experience you are describing here and it feels indescribably upsetting to feel like you've lost the ability to imagine or daydream scenarios of your favorites. there can be any number of reasons why you may be going through something like this. I lost mine for a long while after a bullying incident and stress/trauma from the situation. perhaps yours might be due to some kind of stress, environmental change, if there's something on your mind, etc. even getting too "in your head" about it can upset your ability to connect with your f/os or imagine scenarios like that; if you think to yourself "I can't do this" then it naturally becomes more difficult to do because of telling yourself that it isn't possible.

Even if you can't come up with scenarios, there are plenty of other great ways to connect with f/os or enjoy time with your favorite characters. here are some of the things I do that might help you:

write stories or make headcanons

watch their source material if your f/o is from a movie or tv series

if they're from a book, read the book

is there a film script available for your f/o's movie? if so, try reading the script!

make Pinterest boards full of pictures that remind you of them

make a playlist of songs that make you think of them or songs that somehow relate to the storyline they fulfill in your relationship dynamic

write poetry about them

make a YouTube playlist of scenes from their movie/film so you can have your favorite scenes at your fingertips

I have not seen bobby deerfield or the panic in needle park yet because I can't figure out how/where to watch them (I need to look into that some more) but how did you like them? I've heard good things about the panic in needle park but some people have said bobby deerfield is very boring, so I don't know... omg you saw it in polish? oh wow that is understandable though if you don't speak the language there's probably a lot that could be missed. scarface is such a brilliant film and I love that it is also one of your favorites! it is difficult to beat that one, although I would say I love scarecrow as much as scarface, but in different ways/for different reasons if that makes sense. I am happy to say that Tony is a f/o of mine and I love him very, very much!
