The sword of the day is the ninjato.
This is a straight-bladed, single edged Japanese short sword, used by shinobi or ninja in feudal Japan. At least, that’s what popular culture would have you believe. In truth, there is little evidence of the ninjatō’s existence before the 1950s. Personally, I believe it’s an invention of Hollywood with no basis in actual history. Ninja would have used weapons that allowed them to blend in before striking a target, like the kama, which was also used as a farming implement, or the yari, ubiquitous among Japanese foot soldiers.

So I'm already preparing for Halloween (shuttup, I know it's July) but I felt I should share my prop sword! It's not totally book accurate but I did the best I could!
(Yes I used my pillow to prop it up, sue me I don't have a setup)
I bought the base here (in case anyone wants to know):
Full Costume (maybe) coming sometime either soon or around Halloween when I get my friend to do the scar makeup

thinking about how it would be cool if there were new weapons based on musical instruments. I know it's not likely the devs would do that since they usually design weapons based on liquid- or art-adjacent objects but it would be really funny to have a trombone weapon that shoots out an uninterrupted shot of ink depending on how you long you hold the button or something

My First Trunk or Treat! (Part II)! 🎃

The Event!
It was a very small gathering of volunteers, but we had fun nonetheless! And good thing the rain didn't damped our moods and cancelled the event. I was worried!
I was surprised then I realized that I was the first trunk for the trick or treaters to approach for some candy. But personally I think the giant gumball machine my manager made for Trunk or Treat was a good payoff for going through my display of gore.
Making the trick or treaters dig into my makeshift body bags to get their candy was the best part. Plus, I also scared a lot of kids! (I even made two children cry) 😈
(I also forgot to take pictures of my Halloween costume, but DON'T WORRY! I'll post them as soon as I'm able to!)
