"Winter lights "
I took a little break from my socials after the holidays. Now I'll be back to my regular schedule. During my break I dedicated some of my time to the #WondrousWinterTales art challenge. Although I am a bit behind in sharing them, I would like to share my painting inspired by the first prompt, "Antler Crown & Winterlight." I aimed to evoke a fairy tale atmosphere and experimented with different rendering techniques.

A closer look on the sleeves of this blouse I entirely embroidered by hand, and then sewn. The embroideries patterns are based on a vintage vyshyvanka blouse I saw on pinterest. I became obsessed with these colors and shapes, and spent 100+ hours embroidering all the sleeves. And now I just want to make another one 😂 because it was such a great experience!! On the photos I'm wearing the blouse with a traditional ukrainian vest.

"Eva flies away
Dreams the world far away
In this cruel children's game
There's no friend to call her name
Eva sails away
Dreams the world far away
The good in her will be my sunflower field"

Movie Review Of:
Marie Antoinette (2006)
An aesthetically pleasing movie with a playful narrative of Marie Antoinette’s life. Not the greatest of historical films (or most accurate) but appeals to the dreams of those desiring the princess/fairytale-core aesthetic. Good movie to watch for a Girls’ Night. Bonus: The Soundtrack!
Aesthetic:
Starting: Kirsten Dunst (Marie Antoinette), Jason Schwartzman (Louis XVI), Jamie Dornan (Count Axel Fersen)
