Lore: Timelines/Dimensions/Whatever
This series features a significant amount of traveling between dimensions/timelines/whatever. These all refer to the same thing, which will be explained here.
This is a timeline. Pretend this is our real world, if you like. The rightmost bit, with the arrow, is the Present. Without time travel, this is where everything takes place. It moves everforward at one second per second. At the bottom left is a depiction of the S and T axis. S is space (as in the space between timelines) and T is Time (time progresses to the right).
That timeline on the bottom is the first example's timeline. The timeline on the top is an alternate timeline. An alternate timeline is formed when a difference happens between them. There are a lot (infinite) of these. The impact of the difference propels it further along the hypothetical S axis.
Traveling between timelines is hard. It requires a significant amount of energy, and the more precise that movement is, the more energy and careful planning it requires. Moving from 1 to 2 is easy compared to either of those other, less significant timelines. As you may have guessed, these timelines are formed from less significant differences.
The universe, in its infinite mystery, seems to correct timelines by a small degree. Very small differences, like flipping a coin, would be corrected to match the nearest timeline. The result it corrects to is seemingly random, but is likely just something that isn't understood by anyone in or out of the Boksman lore. Big changes stabilize into different timelines, as shown above (and represented by the curve).
How does Wolfstarplus fit into this?
Wolfstarplus is sort of… vertically placed from the other timelines.
Outside of the T and S axis, there is another axis. Not labelled, but instead referred to as outside the timelines. Time still progresses as normal. Additionally, the line from Wolfstarplus to Timeline 1 is only to show it is placed above in 3d space. Requiring the use of 2d and 3d images is just for the sake of understanding. In lore, it just is and can't be totally accurately mapped in these mediums.
Wolfstarplus existing Outside of the timelines is beneficial in a few ways. Despite perceived distance on the chart, the distance between all timelines is the same from Outside. On the timeline's level, there is distance (S or Space). Travel between more important timelines is step by step, 1 could go to 2, but 1 couldn't go to a hypothetical 3 beyond 2 without first going to 2 and then to 3. This means that travel between Wolfstarplus and any of the important timelines is as easy as going from 1 to 2. Going from Wolfstarplus to a less important timeline would be the same as going from 1 to one of its forked off less important timelines. Going from one of those less important timelines to Wolfstarplus would be easier, however, since Wolfstarplus is a 'bigger target'.
