Leo looked at his phone for a good second and then left it on his bed, unattended. he ran to your residence hall— it didn’t matter to him that it was quite literally on the other side of campus. he needed to hear you say the words he had been waiting to hear since he was fifteen. he’d always had a slight crush on you, mostly off and on.
But during the summer, he had fallen for you even harder than he thought he could. he never thought that he could love someone as much as he loved you. anyway, he was practically dying as he ran to your dorm! his hair was disheveled, and he was panting a bit. he wasn’t sure if he was sweaty because he was nervous, or because he had just ran to get to your dorm.
He knocked on your door three times.
You jumped out of your bed. you felt like throwing up from how nervous you were. you quickly slid on your slippers, and looked in the mirror before you opened the door for him. (making the poor boy wait). you adjusted your hair, making sure it sat right.
You took a deep breath before opening the door. you almost didn’t, but a voice in your head was telling you that you’d be an idiot if you didn’t open the door. your hands gripped the doorknob, and then unlocked it. leo was practically dying because you were taking years to open the stupid door. you finally opened it, getting met by a disheveled-sweaty-flushed leo valdez.
“Hi.” he croaked out, his voice cracking slightly. he felt like he was on fire, literally. he wanted this to be over with! well, no, that’s a lie. he just wanted to be your boyfriend already.
“…Hi.” you answered, your voice was quiet. you had an awkward smile on your face. you were praying that you would just drown at this moment. you’d much rather enjoy that than this.
He cleared his throat, and finally spoke after a long minute of awkward silence. The two looked at each other “I really… really like you. I.. Uh.. You obviously know that already, but I wanna tell you in person?” he said, nodding along with his own words. his hands went to fumble with the hem of his shirt, anxiously waiting for your response.
“I really like you, too.” You replied. you didn’t feel as nervous as anymore when he started to talk. you felt your face getting hotter, and your smile getting bigger. he grinned at you like an idiot.
He thought that he was dreaming when you said you liked him. The start of something. “Really?” He asked, just wanting to hear you say it again. He couldn’t help but grin like an idiot. He thought never in a million years that you’d ever like him! You were totally out of his league. you were so awesome, so pretty, and so sweet.
You nodded again, rolling your eyes. “Yes, really.”

Standing near the ocean, on a hill. Two people. A son and his father. Blood, dripping in the snow, staining its artic glow. Their hair and Sesshomaru's dog fur swaying in the wind.
"Father. Do you insist on going?" the son spoke with such intensity in his voice. There he stood a few meters behind the one he calls father. His father looked ahead, not turning to face him as he spoke.
"Do you intend to stop me, Sesshomaru?" his father declared.
"I will not stand in your way. However, before you go, you must entrust the sword Sō'unga and Tessaiga to me" he suggested, which was really a demnad for his father.
"And if i refuse? Will you kill me? Your own father" he groaned in annoyance of what he thinks what Sesshomaru is really after. "Do you desire power so much? Why do you seek power my son?"
"The path I walk is the way of Supreme Conquest. And it is power that will reveal the way for me" he voiced straightforwardly. His father slightly put his head down with disappointment. Why does he seek power? Unlike his other son Inuyasha. Thou they might have forgotten their second eldest of the brothers, the father has not. He is still in search of his son, not giving up. M/n and Inuyasha do not seek power like their brother Sesshomaru. But something else.
[Hard-heartedly: Lacking in feeling or compassion; pitiless and cold.]
"Supreme Conquest" he uttered hard-heartedly. "Tell me Sesshomaru. Have you someone to protect?" he asked. Wanting to test Sesshomaru, he awaits his answer.
He was looking at his father, standing in front of him. He squinted his eyes. "Protect?" he remarked. Who would he need to protect? He doesn't need to protect anyone. He only protects himself. Tension took over as they stood. Only the waves of the ocean could be heard crashing against the sand.
"The answer is no. I Sesshomaru have no idea of such" he says as he spreads out his right arm, with his pointer and middle finger in a position he usually uses. Like his poisonous whips from his fingertips. He stanced himself ready to fight as his father roared, turning into a giant dog demon. His answer made his father very angry.

He's very protective of them too, any hero, villains or the LDPD (or is that just villains redundant?) who mess with them are going to have a Very Bad Day.

Smart politicians will take that as a sign to wrap it up, but in Chen's experience, not many of them are smart.

Danny's the only one who knows Tegan likes cartoons because they like the same ones. Its not a secret secret but they are both pretty convinced they'd get teased about it by Ortega and Argent. After training snacks and binge watching cartoons at Daniel's place has happened more than once. Sometimes you just gotta relive (or experience for the first time) your childhood.

The good doctor is not a morning person. Anything before noon is way too damn early. They are also very difficult to coax out of bed and will obstinately snuggle further into the covers to avoid getting up. Its a clever tactic that usually causes the waker-upper to get back in bed and then neither have to leave it for a while.

The part I struggle with is picturing Dottore actually fall in love with someone and what their personality would be in a lot of my thoughts like,,,on one hand I don't want the reader to be a carbon copy of the man but on the other hand I don't want them to be so different Dottore cannot feel anything for them ??? HE IS SO HARD TO WRITE FOR AND ITS ANNOYING!! And yes, I could make up a reason and a story but I prefer for them to be in character as much as possible.

And the whole 'why is the boss so happy today? WAIT WHAT DO YOU MEAN SOMEONE LOVES HIM??? is he,,,is he carrying flowers and is that a flower language book on his desk??? QUICKLY SLAP ME RN THIS MUST BE A DREAM !!" and don't you try to ask Dottore anything when he is talking to the person he loves??? Do you wish to become part tomato? But your idea is even better than cus from what I have read: Morticia and Gomez's relationship was written in such a way that it started with a question "They're such an odd family so they must do everything differently from regular humans. Regular humans HATE their WIVES SO!! to make it all creepy what can we do? Make this man obsessed with her!! That will show just how different they are!!" and honestly it seems like a great paradox of trying to make Dottore even more evil but ending up with a loving, stable and devoted lover??? I do think that after all this time only love can redeem Dottore if and when they do his character arc. Nothing else comes to mind honestly. It isn't like they HAVE to redeem him but if they don't I am afraid he won't be playable.....

I just did my lil december recap w imo so those are all my most recently finished reads, but currently I'm maybe a third of the way through The Dylan Dog Case Files 🧟♂️ I'll probably read another issue today and then later start Nobody Knows My Name by James Baldwin — I have his collected essays and the papers are so paper-thin like a bible (probably to save money/density since it's 800+ pages) so I'm pretty cautious when I read from it bc I worry about tearing a page simply by turning it too fast😟📖 although I'd love to see bezos burned at stake I do unfortunately adore my kindle & would totally recommend u ask for one next birthday/holiday 🎁 I actually asked for a refurbished one specifically, partially bc it's cheaper but also bc I've become more conscious about e-waste throughout my adult years of consumerism 🚮 I think it was $70-$80 and it works perfectly - I already have like 15 books (and I'm talkin thick ass books) downloaded so far and I haven't even made a dent in my storage — the possibilities are endless ‼️

Hi! You are such a delight to read. I feel that our mindsets match on a certain way. Thank you for taking the time on prolonging this useless jikook convo 💀 ( I used to be a hardcore jikooker), but everything recently has been, feels and is LAME. Even if we got the 3J pictures, the white day dinner, and the amount of content? from the concerts, I don’t feel is the same, actually BTS has turned up to be so basic, ONCE AGAIN, trying to appeal the western market.
I understand that is inconvenient to speak you mind with so many projects, endorsements, brands and even politics, but common. They sadly are becoming what their old lyrics were against the most: puppets of the system. 😴😴😴. ( I hope I can swallow my words because I really appreciate them as artists)

Hi! I don't really know when I got this ask 😅 a lot of times I save them on drafts for later and then I just forget. Something happened that made me remember it last night, tho.
For the longest time I've thought that Jimin was probably one of the members who had the most to say. I wasn't sure that he'd say it, because as opinionated and smart as he is, he's also very neutral and avoids conflict. At least publicly. But after seeing the stuff that's been teased from his photofolio, maybe he will speak up to some extent after all. I still don't think he, or any other BTS member will be outspoken and radical about anything, but maybe Jimin won't be so quiet like I had assumed he would be. I think Namjoon could make some points too, but tbh he mostly seems tired of everything 😭 like he just seems done and just going with the flow. Maybe kind of being over it would allow him enough detachment from the public opinion and such, as to speak up his mind.
The conversations have been repeating over and over and over to no end. After the feeling of brand new and exciting that I felt with Jimin's photofolio, the speak yourself final DVD teaser came out and it gave me some sort of whiplash. And the internet actually is Neverland, isn't it? A place where nothing changes, nobody grows old, people stay the same forever. People talk about stuff that happened years ago as if it was happening right now, as if the people they're talking about are the same they were five or ten years ago. It goes for both the good and the bad stuff. Some people get worse as years go by, and some others get better. On the internet you can "cancel" someone because they said something mean fifteen years ago and everyone will go with it, as if that person is stuck in time and whatever they said fifteen years ago is still valid. I see the same it's happening to the fandom, especially to shippers, and it's a very similar feeling to what I felt in 2020 when I said I unfollowed every BTS account because I felt like I was in a time loop. People talk in present tense about things that happened six, four, three years ago. It actually makes me feel like I'm living in a different realm of time. I'm not exaggerating, it's really strange to me. Jimin's photofolio content was exciting, and new, even the possibility of them starting to date openly is/was something to look forward to. I guess the annoying thing for me is that sometimes I check people's accounts and it really feels like everyone is stuck in time, everyone keeps talking about things that happened years ago, even if BTS themselves are long gone. They've moved on. I've talked before how fast things always changed with them, my friend and I would say "BTSyears" as if it was a valid measure of time because they did so much in so little time. They would begin the year one way and they were different people by the time it ended.
Maybe it's because the majority of the fandom is relatively new? Sometimes I just click on accounts, mindlessly browsing through Twitter, and all of them were created in 2021, 2022. So they're still experiencing a lot of stuff that I feel like I've lived through a trillion times. And obviously they have every right to, it's not that I'm annoyed at new fans, not at all. It's just a really really strange feeling for me. I thought I felt that way in 2020 because of the pandemic and quarantine but I've felt the same way for the past few days.

I need to rant. 🙄
Today started off good. I woke up at 6 let my cat out and went back to sleep. I woke up at 7:40 and my cat and I went outside together then my brother came shortly after ( why is he up so early ?? ) anyways I tell him about my crazy dream and head back inside. I go do my morning routine. I made my bed, did my gratitude journal, morning yoga, journaled, & 13 min mirror affirmation. I then ate rice and eggs & 10 piece chicken nuggets ( still going good). I went to shower after and I hear my sister yelling for me to hurry up because she needs to deficate. Mind you this was less than 10 mins of a shower 😐
I was told we were going to my sisters school last night ACTUALLY was insisted to go so I said ok. After the shower I did my after shower routine and hurried to put makeup on and get myself ready. I put lotion on and layered a few perfumes. After I rushed tf outta my makeup I ask my sister are we going for the second time and she says no I told u that and I said no u didn’t ??? Like wtf?? And then she said my brother told me like omg if he had I would’ve fucking known. I’m so pissed lol I could’ve took my time to do my makeup. I wanted to do a good eye makeup today to make my eyes pop.
I literally hated the way my makeup came out. Maybe it’s good just didn’t look good on me. So stressed a school starts in a week. My eyebrows are literally effed as well. I don’t know what makeup suits my face. Hell I don’t even know how to do makeup anymore. Now I’m laying in bed complaining.
I suppose this is better for me. I don’t have to waste my time going to a college for 2 hours doing nothing there. I can continue working on myself. I’m afraid I’m going to make working on myself will be my personality. Or my entire life. I need to relax and chill too. But right now I can’t lol. Im literally sooo tired. I think I’m going to have a Power Nap ( 30 mins ) although in psychology a nap is only 20 mins because after the 20 min mark your brain thinks you’re going into a deep sleep 😴 Idk if I should sleep tho.

“I promise to cuddle you through the entire night,” he straightens, lacing his fingers with yours, guiding you along toward your room
You shoot him a scathing grin, “If hogging my bed the entire night constitutes as cuddling, then I’m sure you will.”
“Sweetheart,” he quietly slides your fusuma doors apart, gesturing for you to enter first, “Hogging your bed definitely constitutes as cuddling.”
Giggling, you immediately sprawl into your bed
“You’re going to wrinkle your clothing,” Tanjirou remarks fondly
“They’re dirty anyway,” you shrug, toes curling as you stretch sleepily, “You can remove them if you’d like.”
He smiles softly, “Of course, [y/n].”
You move to sit at the edge of your bed
He tugs off your socks, pants—you lift up your bum to help him, unbuttons your shirt, and returns his haori to you (he knows you’ll fall asleep clutching it); then, you deftly unbutton his own shirt, snuggling onto your side beneath your kakefuton as he strips off his remaining articles
“You’re already hogging my bed,” you drawl as the warmth of his naked chest spoons you
“Our bed.”
“Mm, maybe,” your hand finds his, both his haori and fingers now tucked against you
Tanjirou relaxes as your scent gradually regains its ease
Its reassurance
Mingled with the fuziness of your sleep
He kisses the tip of your visible ear
“Sweet dreams, sweetheart.”

Chapter 11 spoilers for Sequels Suck
This review is so late 😭 all I gotta say is working at FedEx AIN'T SHIT. Working 5 days a week and having to get up at 5 in the morning HAS ME SICK. Anywayssss Chapter 11 had me at the beginning...Very peeved 🤐 Randy STILL DOESN'T BELIEVE US? EVEN THO WE WERE ATTACKED BY SOMEONE IN A GHOSTFACE COSTUME?! COME ON MAN. WAKE UP AND SMELL THE ROSES BUDDY CAUSE THIS IS REAL 😭😭😂
We immediately started blaming ourself at the hospital, which we all predicted would happen, but something that stuck out to me before Mickey got coffee was him questioning WHY Derek would go into the house without a weapon. Like I said before, I've been wary of Derek since day one lmaooo I DO NOT want this man near us 😭 however, last time I was like okayyy MAYBE he just wants to protect us, right? But that was a big MAYBE in my mind bc there was still stuff in previous chapters that always made me sus and once again, right after finishing ch 10 I was like maybeee he was just being reckless, but why would he sacrifice himself for someone he barely knows? UNLESS he's trying to play the hero to get us to trust him more and therefore allowing him to get closer just for the sake of his plan. Mickey being like "Why would he go back into that house anyways?" just got me more suspicious lmao However, Mickey saying that made me sus of HIM TOO bc who's to say Mickey isn't trying to use Derek as a scapegoat? Trying to plant a seed of doubt in our mind?
Either way, Derek is sketchy and altho he's super cute looking I just can't trust him 😭 Randy thinking it's weird he went back into the house makes sense since his jealousy could be clouding his judgement lmao but at the same time if Randy THE horror fanatic thinks Derek is sus, I think we should keep our guard up. I still can't believe he didn't believe us about Stu 🙃 we don't have physical proof and that's the problem. Maybe we should start carrying a camera everywhere just to, BY SOME MIRACLE, get a pic of at least one of them. The proof would be irrefutable unless the pic wasn't clear enough. Maybe try to get their voice on audio too 🤡
Atleast it was revealed in ch 11 that the boys survived their stab wounds bc of the hospital. But like Randy brought up, how the hell did they escape the hospital? Why are they killing random college students? How many people have they killed just to survive? There are too many questions for Randy to actually believe us. The scene with Derek was really sad even if I don't trust him 😫 Derek asking us if we wanted him to beat Billy's ass had me like plz do 😂 telling him he needed to stay away had me grateful and sad bc it's bc of our sociopathic boys we can't live a normal life 😭
The scene of the cafe had me like awww 😍 this story has me simping hard for Meeks 🥴 AND I'M NOT READY FOR US TO LOSE HIM. I'll always be Billy and Stu's girl but Randy's got me feeling things 😏😂😂 Even Dewey could see he liked us and the fact that Randy called us attractive? I SCREAMED. Dewey's like "Mhm. Attractive?" Randy - " I have eyes Dewey." I lost it 😫 likeee yesss ofc were hot asf. And when Randy admitted he didn't know what he'd do if he lost us? AHHHHH I'M DONE 🤣 and Billy calling us had me shaking. The fuck you want man 🙄 I might DEEP DOWN wanna skip the angst and just makeout with you while you pick my 5'0 ass up but that doesn't mean you're still not James 2.0 🤡 Idc what the stab movie says, I ain't moaning in your ear until you stop killing our besties 😂 You ain't SHIT and we deserve better even if deep down we still love you and Stu.
Sorry to hear about ur job being tiresome; I could imagine! Especially with the holidays and everyone ordering everything online rn 🥴🎁 My father gets up at 5 and freaking hates it I haven't had to do that crap in years and I'm glad cause I'm too much of a night owl 😴. deciding on my college was also rlly difficult for me :'') i took like a good month to weigh in all my acceptances and eventually went to the one i felt the most comfortable at and thought would be the best for me <33 omg yeah my high school was pretty competitive so quite a few people got into ivy leagues, but everyone was surprised that that one boy turned down harvard bc he's always had high ambitions and is a genius 😳 but i think it all came down to finances and he's happier at the college he ended up choosing tbh so i'm glad for him 🥰 plus ivy leagues are corrupt and scary and i don't think i want to go to a university where the student climate is so cutthroat LMFAO
god yeah my thighs are dying rn <//3 i hiked 16 miles with my friends once and tbh that was the worst HAHAH i was fine for the 7(??) ish miles there but walking back was sooo painful + 2 of those miles was on sand so it was a struggle. i don't think i could walk properly for 3 days after that HAHAH and i cut my ankle mid-hike so 🤕 2-3 hours ??? god i would fall asleep or something i could never 😭

yessss (I cant do a lot bc it’s ten pm but I will do some bc I love them)
Logan gives Patton piggy back rides sometimes
Patton is actually very Stronk and can pick Logan up with ease and Logan is very aware of this at all times
They have matching friendship bracelets that they made in third grade
(The only time Roman’s ever seen Logan cry was in eighth grade gym when he couldn’t find his bracelet)
((Some kid had stolen it from his locker. Said kid almost went home with a black eye. He’s very lucky Logan refuses to get detention.))
They play Minecraft together on the weekends and have a world they’ve been building on since middle school - it has like seven full on castles and a fully sustainable little village outside each one. It’s their pride and joy
Patton is the only one who remembers that Logan played flute in middle school (and loved it)
They’re president and vice president of student council!!! I have nothing else to say about that I just like that fact
They’ve transformed Patton’s basement into a little hangout complete with a mini fridge and bean bags
They spend so much time at each other’s houses that their parents have just gotten used to asking which house they’ll be at each night
They have a folder of past pranks and plans, kind of like a stare decisis backup - if they need to pull another prank for a reason they’ve dealt with before, they have all past pranks logged to reference
(The folder is locked up in Patton’s basement with a code only they know because they’re not risking being found out by anyone)
Whenever the student council needs to do a fundraiser, Patton somehow always manages to convince Logan (and the rest of the council) to do a bake sale, even though it always requires Logan, Patton, and a reluctant Dee to spend hours in Patton’s kitchen making pastries
(Eventually they rope Roman, Remus, and Virgil into helping them, which they immediately regret because Remus is chaos incarnate and Virgil and Roman spend the entire time on the brink of either physically fighting or making out and frankly the sanitary issues of both options just stress Logan out too much)
Logan has a very classic preppy fashion style, whereas Patton seems to emulate Hawaiian vacation dad/casual college kid (always with khaki shorts) - they’ve tried to switch styles before, which is to say that Logan wore a sweatshirt and shorts and Patton wore a button down and slacks. They were both uncomfortable and Logan came home from school with a bunch of people’s numbers.
They refuse to speak of that day.
They do have matching flannels tho! They got them one time for spirit week - twin day - and wear them once a month like the coordinated dorks they are!
They make TikToks specifically to make fun of TikTok
