So the 118 is back in Texas, either work/emergency related or just to visit TK & carlos but they go to a bar, -they are doing line dancing and buck is having the time of his life -he is dancing with both men and women just being is happy self -eddie is watching with a smile -the smile drops when one guy placed his hat on bucks head and they start getting close -Eddie takes this as his cue to go to him and start dancing, he goes to buck andhe removes the guys hat and places his hat on bucks head. -he then explain the rule

if you take the cowboys hat, you gotta ride the cowboy

Buck: "I don't know exactly what I'm ready for but I know I'm ready for something. And I think that could be with you."

Maybe that Carla line was a throwaway once, but now it’s a FEAST. The writers can’t be this blind to their own doing!!

Part of him had always been aware of his feelings for Buck but he was too afraid to say anything about it because he didn’t want to risk everything if Buck didn’t feel the same way.

Because what would happen to them then? There’s no going back from something like that.

And every time that he had mustered up the courage to say anything, it was like the words got stuck in his throat and he would end up saying or asking Buck something that was completely incomprehensible or irrelevant. Which would make Buck throw back his head and laugh loudly, hand on his stomach to keep himself from falling over. It frustrated Eddie to no end but he also couldn’t really blame Buck for the fact that he wasn’t able to speak his mind.

It was kind of ironic in a way, because this had never happened when he was with Shannon. And despite of the many deep conversations and thoughts and feelings that he and Buck had shared over the years, he just wasn’t able to find a way to tell him how he truly felt. Buck knows that Eddie loves him but not how he loves him.

Anyway here's a snip of a scene from the next chapter of Lifeline that I've just come up with today <3 Subject to editing and polishing before it goes up on AO3

Eddie comes back to consciousness to with a muffled groan, keeping his eyes closed as he lifts a hand to brush over the painful lump on the crown of his head. "He's waking up!" A muffled voice whispers. He keeps his eyes closed as he begins mentally assessing his surroundings. The whispered words hold a note of… fear? The footsteps that shuffle around quickly are soft, muffled - not the sound that accompanies heavy boots on feet of enemy soldiers. As he listens, he can hear a quiet, high pitched whine in the background, the sound of a - child? Okay. These are not the kind of sounds he would be hearing in the presence of hardened criminals or enemy combatants. As he slows his breathing, mouth moving around the numbers as always to bring his heart rate and breathing back under control, nobody moves toward him, no hands grab at him, seemingly willing to allow him time and space. So he uses it to think. His hands haven't been bound, he hasn't been tied up, so this isn't immediately a dangerous situation. The whispered voice sounds feminine and scared. He has a feeling that this situation isn't what it seemed when he'd been jumped from behind, hit over the head with something, and dragged away. But still, it could be dangerous, and nobody knows where he is, Buck doesn't know - Wait. Lifeline. With careful, slow movements, he lowers his hand from his head and lets it drop into his lap with the other hand. He brings his knees up to his chest, groaning as though in pain, resting his head forward against his knees as he does to sell the ruse. "Jesus, Dom, how hard did you hit him?" The same voice from before whispers, and she sounds angry. "You weren't meant to-" "I had to, Steph." A masculine voice this time answers, but he doesn't sound angry - if anything, the tone is regretful. "He started fighting the second we grabbed him." Yeah, Eddie thinks bitterly, and if I wasn't so out of shape you would have been on your ass. He groans again, just for a bit more time while his fingers walk along the back of his other hand, hidden between his stomach and knees and - yes, the band is still there, secured around his wrist. He wastes no time, tapping out the tap-tap tap-tap pattern on the face of the wristband that will send his vitals to Buck, that he knows will ease the man's fears even slightly. Then, making sure his sleeve covers the band again, he finally lifts his head and opens his eyes. "What the hell…" He mutters with a frown as he takes in three people staring at him from a few feet away with apprehensive faces. "Look-" His eyes swivel to the new voice, a man who approaches with his hands in the air, non-threatening. "We're sorry for - all of this. It's just - we need help." "Okay," Eddie frowns back at the man. "Most people actually ask before knocking out a firefighter and dragging him away."

For Buck it became standard routine to hide the immense emotion he felt for Eddie. He couldn't place it, it was different. He hadn't felt like this in a very very long time. It was not until he tried explaining it to Maddie that the puzzle clicked.

"Is it jealousy? Is it friendship? I honestly don't know Maddie, it's just there every time I look at him, every time I see him. It's eating me alive, my stomach hurts because of it. Maybe it's because I admire him so much or maybe because he's my friend. I really don't know but I get so happy every time he's there, every time he says my name, it seems to come out of his mouth so perfectly, so smooth, like he's meant to say it. I don't know. Maybe I'm overexaggerating. Maybe it's all in my head. I just feel so...-."

"It's love." She interrupts softly. "That what you're feeling Evan, it's love."

Oh.

He was quiet for a minute. The buckley was so stunned he couldn't even utter a word. He thought his heart stopped but he fell it beating so rapidly in his chest. All he could think about was Eddie. His smile, his eyes, everything. All his memories, all the times he would crave his touch, the depths he would take just to hear him laugh. It all suddenly clicked.

"Oh." He whispered, unable to raise his voice any higher. "I understand now."

If Buddie is going to become canon

After 7x5 i saw some theories and my mind kept running lol

People talking about something definitely happened at chimney’s bachelors party.

My take is that yes something happened but we wont know what.

Season will continue.

Tommy and eddie will be a thing now

Everything is running smoothly for once

Except that eddie is acting a bit off, nothing mayor i mean they are hanging out, buck is happy with tommy

We get to the season finale and because its the finale something big and traumatic happens (😒)

Everyone lives but as buck is walking away into tommys arms eddie just stares and we see flashbacks..

We see eddie and buck hanging out and at some point they kissed

It was playful, it was a “im so happy right now i could kiss you” moment after they pulled some crazy stunt during the party. They were tipsy bordering on drunk

It meant nothing and buck apologized. Eddie says its alright no problem

But he kept thinking about it. He kept replaying it all night. He wanted to kiss that man again

Sadly Buck did not remember it

Let's see...

In first fifteen minutes we get:

Buck and Eddie working together, no weird energy or separation, they're in sync

Eddie shirtless

Buck asking Eddie what plans he has for the weekend because he found a place to go go-karting in the desert (desert = solo, dry, alone basically which makes you wonder)

The minute dating comes up (Eddie turning down Buck's offer to hang out), Eddie starts covering up/dressing

The minute Eddie mentions he has another date with Marisol, Buck covers up

When Eddie mentions Natalie, Eddie is still buttoning up his shirt

Eddie and Christopher both have dates

Math is mentioned again

Eddie and Marisol are going well (shocker)

Buck has already broken up with Natalia offscreen (having finally realized in character what we all did back in the very ooc last two episodes of season 6) - (my wondering from above is over)

Buck broke up with Natalia because she only wanted to talk about his death and Eddie puts a hand on thee shoulder (from 3x03 - this whole moment is a total callback, even with Eddie looking him in he eye and leaving) and welcomes him back to the living, telling him he was missed

Buck gets that smile that he usually gets around Eddie after Eddie walks out
