yes this is an extremely niche post but i got my first round today and i am NOTHING if not self serving on this blog !!!!!
Abby Sideris - let’s be real she would not end up getting it and would tell anyone in her life she knew who was getting migraines that this really special essential oil blend she made would “totally cure them”
lisa ostrum - also would not get it (maybe i should change the title of this?) but would loudly and incredulously say “WHAT? you’re not sticking needles in my HEAD!?! i’m outta here!!” in the most annoying voice ever and walk out of the appt never to return
ethel bossiny - this bitch would not even react. she would just say in a level voice “ok doctor, i’m ready now,” sit in the chair with her hands crossed exactly like this and her face would not change at all with the needles going in. totally unphased!! absolutely nothing.
malachi craven - oh this dude would be a NIGHTMARE. he’d get annoyed that he couldn’t inject himself and grumble about it the whole time and tell the doctor they don’t know what they’re doing/are doing it wrong and that he could do it better.

I’m a huge museum nerd and I work at a museum! I love history museums. My favorite exhibit was a maritime history exhibit at the Smithsonian American History Museum! It was absolutely beautiful and gave me serious Danger on Deception Island vibes.
Ethel Bossiny: What period in or piece of history fascinates you the most?
I love pre Colombian Southwest History. My favorite group to study is the Hohokam Culture and Mogollon Culture in Arizona and New Mexico. I also love studying the Neolithic period.

10. Mr. Richard Topham (old clock)
There’s just something about this snobby old hypnotist silver fox. He has nice bone structure too. Kinda want him to hypnotize me.
9. Jeff Akers (ghost dogs)
What he lacks in character he makes up for in facial structure.
8. Kyler Mallory (castle malloy)
Perfect nose. Green is def her color. I love her voice. Her little tiara is fitting because she’s a queen.
7. Ethel Bossiny (blackmoor manor)
Redhead. Also there’s something about her undying stare. She definitely had a thing for Nancy. 10/10 foxy Nancy drew character
6. Wade Thornton (thornton hall)
This man is a hottie. Southern drawl, cool jacket, ghost hunter vibes.
5. Samantha Quick (silent spy)
Intimidating, intense, intelligent. She’s super cool and super attractive. I hope to see her in future games

Just finished playing Curse of Blackmoor Manor with my boyfriend. After he saw all the shit built into the walls and trap doors, he was amazed the manor was still standing. If it was built on top of an alchemical lab from the 1400s, with puzzles constantly being added, the whole building must be constantly repaired and strengthened to not collapse on itself. He asked if every other generation had stonemasons and construction experts at all, cause if they're that uptight about the secrets then only they'd be allowed to know how to fix the house--or they'd have to kill anyone who fixed the building afterwards according to their fucked up beliefs about the useless space rock in the basement.
I found Ethel to be one of the more unnerving people in the game (Jane being the top one with her inclination for animal cruelty and poisoning her own stepmother without a moment's hesitation) and couldn't understand Ethel's devotion to the family or their dumb space rock. The poor Bossiny family, taught from birth to serve the Penvellyns til the end of time. Boyfriend said that was a very European mindset, and was less surprised by her antics.
We both agreed Linda should have divorced Hugh immediately after it came to light that Jane was poisoning her, and that Hugh was a failure of a parent for not getting Jane to therapy after the divorce. He himself admitted Jane was upset and not coping well with the divorce (like a normal 10 year old)...and Hugh didn't lift a finger to help her. Instead he dated and married Linda within two years, and then promptly was as absent a husband to her as he was an absent father to Jane.
