I feel like this should go without saying but I do ascribe to the idea that some ships are inherently morally bad and deserve to be hated. I won’t post about all my opinions on the ships, but if a ship is predatory/offensive/has bigoted shippers I will join in calling it really bad, and I will not be accepting or starting anti/pro-shipper discourse here. it’s 2023, grow up and stop shipping incest.

If you’re looking to cuddle into the blankets with a good mug of comfort and a new show, look no further; award-winning Scottish actor Ewan McGregor has partnered up with Moto Guzzi to bring us a new autobiography-style campaign showcasing the beauty of “the symbiotic relationship between man and motorcycle.”
The campaign, now available to watch on Youtube, is a beautiful homage to Hollywood’s golden years, with every Moto Guzzi machine in the film fresh out of Ewan McGregor’s own collection (that’s how much of a Guzzihead our Obi-Wan is, apparently).

Locations of the scenery include Eric Lloyd Wright’s brutalist house in Malibu, as well as the iconic Pacific Coast Highway, “the desert spaces in Lancaster, the L.A. River and the Second Street Tunnel in downtown Los Angeles,” all memories that will stay with McGregor for a lifetime – especially the one riding Moto Guzzi’s stunning V100 Mandello.
“When I got to open up with the V100 on the Pacific Highway,” recounts Ewan, “it was truly an exhilarating experience; this is a very unique bike – sporty yet comfortable, perfect for a long ride. It’s totally Moto Guzzi at heart, and that’s what’s so great about it, that they managed to design a modern liquid-cooled motorcycle that still feels like a Guzzi.”

Ewan’s motorcycle 🏍️ is a limited edition Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello “Aviazione Navale” in celebration of its historic connection between Italian motorcycle manufacturer with the Navy. The link between Moto Guzzi and the Navy goes back more than a century when company founders Carlo Guzzi, Giorgio Parodi and Giovanni Ravelli served together in the Aeronautical Service of the Regia Marina during the First World War.
The brand emblem, Spread Eagle, has its origins in this era and combines classic style with modern technology with elegant design and exclusive details, this motorcycle is a desire for many motorcyclists and collectors around the world.

Frank Lloyd Wright Designed a 12-Year-Old Boy's Dog House
Famed American architect Frank Lloyd Wright designed iconic buildings like the Fallingwater house in Pennsylvania and the Guggenheim Museum in New York -- and he also designed a dog house for a 12-year-old boy who sent him a letter.
Jim Berger grew up in a San Anselmo, California, home that his parents had commissioned Wright to design, according to Marin County. In 1956, when Berger was 12 years old, he sent a letter to Wright asking for plans for a matching dog house for his labrador retriever, Eddie.
"I would appreciate it if you would design me a dog house, which would be easy to build, but would go with our house," wrote Berger in the letter. "The reason I would like this dog house is for the winters mainly."
He offered Eddie's age, "four years old or in dog life 28 years," and size, "two and a half feet high and three feet long."
He offered to pay the architect for the design with money from his paper route.
"A house for Eddie is an opportunity," wrote Wright in his reply, dated June 28, 1956. "Someday I shall design one but just now I am too busy to concentrate on it. You write me next November to Phoenix, Arizona and I may have something then."
It wasn't until the next year that the architect sent Berger the plans for the triangular dog house, written on the back of an envelope and provided at no charge. The design features signatures of Wright's work generally and of the Bergers' home, like the low-pitched roof and exaggerated overhang.
Architecture fans can see the dog house for themselves at the Marin County Civic Center, where it was put on permanent display on May 26, according to the county. The civic center itself is the largest building ever designed by Wright.
The dog house on display, however, isn't the actual dog house used by Eddie. Berger's father, Robert, and brother, Eric, built the dog house in 1963 when Berger joined the Army, six years after receiving the plans from Wright. But the family's labrador didn't use the dog house, and in 1970 Berger's mother Gloria sent it to the dump, according to the county.
In 2010, Berger and Eric built another version of the dog house from Wright's plans as part of a documentary, "Romanza," about Wright's life. And in 2016 Berger donated the unique structure to Marin County.
The dog house is the smallest structure Wright ever designed, the county says. The architect died in 1959, just two years after mailing Berger the design for his canine companion.

The Fawcett Farm, or Randall Fawcett Home as it’s often called, is a late Wright design completed in 1961 that recently hit the market for $4.25 million. Listed through Crosby Doe Associates, the seven-bedroom and six-bathroom home features many elements Wright is known for such as large floor-to-ceiling windows and a strong connection to the surrounding nature.
For some, the one-of-a-kind home, which also includes a pool, a semi-attached museum, and Japanese garden, is a steal. Just a few months ago, Wright’s Arthur Mathews House—which is less than half the size of the Fawcett home—listed for nearly twice the amount at $8 million. Whoever buys the Fawcett property will be the third family to live in it and the second to enjoy the home after a premier restoration completed in consultation with Eric Lloyd Wright, Wright’s grandson, and overseen by Arthur Dyson, a Taliesin Associated architect.

Buck Wild: Legend of the Lost World is an American computer-animated adventure comedy-drama film produced by 20th Century Animation and distributed by 20th Century Studios. The film is a spin-off/prequel, the second installment in the trilogy of Buck Wild films after The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild (2022), and the eighth installment overall in the Ice Age franchise. It is directed by Donnie Long, who also directed Ice Age: Scrat Tales, written by Michael Berg, Yoni Brenner and Edgar Wright, and produced by John C. Donkin. The music for the film was composed by James Newton Howard.
In the film’s ensemble voice cast, Simon Pegg and Justina Machado reprise their respective roles as the titular character and Zee, while they are joined by Nick Frost and Andy Serkis, who voices new characters introduced in this film.
The film’s plot follows the origin story of Buck Wild on his adventures in the Lost World years before the events of Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. Accompanied by his ambitious recruits Zee, his grandfather Lloyd, and his brother Ray, they must learn to work together as a team to escape the rouge albino Baryonyx Rudy, who’s planning to hunt down Buck, while going through dangerous obstacles and encountering vicious dinosaurs as they embark on their toughest mission yet.
The computer animation for the film was provided by DNEG, who had also provided animation for 2021’s Ron’s Gone Wrong and 2023’s Nimona.
Originally planned to be a sequel to The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild, it was later scrapped in favour of a spin-off prequel that mainly focuses on Buck, due to the film’s poor critical reception and audience viewership and how it lacked the primary focus on the titular character.
The film was released on the Disney+ streaming service and received positive reviews from critics and audiences, with Rotten Tomatoes calling it “an Ice Age spin-off centered on Buck done right”. Many praised the animation, Pegg and Machado’s performance, action sequences, and musical score, and deemed it a significant improvement over the 2022 film.

Simon Pegg as Buck “Buckminster” Wild, a one-eyed fearless weasel who is daring, adventurous and a little eccentric.
Justina Machado as Zee, a sarcastic yet compassionate zorilla who is Buck’s love interest.
Nick Frost as Ray “Raymond” Wild, a dimwitted yet optimistic weasel who is Buck’s brother. He previously voiced Flynn in Ice Age: Continental Drift.
Andy Serkis as Lloyd Wild, an elderly cranky yet goodhearted weasel who is Buck's grandfather.
Eric Bana as Buck's father who is killed by Rudy.
Karen Disher as Buck's mother who is killed by Rudy.
Frank Welker as Momma, a female Tyrannosaurus, and Rudy, a rouge albino Baryonyx.
