hi daze! i loved reading your yan!enstars hcs (self-aware yan!anzu has my heart my sweet bby girl). this has crossed my mind a few times but which yandere characters would restrict their darling and control every single aspect of their life? for example, if their darling enjoyed a certain hobby like playing an instrument, who would allow their darling to keep doing what they love?

What yanderes would restrict you in your hobbies?

Hmm, with the hobby I think it depends on what kind of hobby it is? I´d like to think that pretty much all yanderes at least have the stance that they generally want you to continue doing what you love because they like seeing you happy.

Though of course, that doesn´t mean that they´re very happy when you focus all of your attention on your hobby and don´t spare them a second glance! Yanderes like Tori, Ritsu, and Hiyori would definitely complain and tell you that you should spare them some more attention, all of them with their own brand of clingy. Tori is probably the most demanding, asking you to stop what you´re doing *right now*! Ritsu just wraps his arms around you and murmurs that he wants to cuddle you so just put away what you were doing before. Hiyori is the kind of person that would ask others to drop whatever they were doing to attend to him ( poor Jun) but I kind of don´t necessarily see him doing that to his darling? Like, he would ask for all of your attention when he´s been having a bad day and he needs the affection, but he would probably just try to join you in your hobby. He may not know how to do it but then you´ll kind of be forced to focus on him to teach him the basics

More people would probably have a problem if your hobby happened to include meeting up with others. They´re perfectly fine with you reading a book or something like that but they draw the line at other people! They don´t like the thought of you being away from them and getting close to people that aren´t them. Depending on the person, they might try to either convince you to stop doing your hobby, accompany you there to keep an eye on you or stalk you when you´re out so they can still pretend that they´re with you and so they can reassure themselves that there isn´t anything happening between you and your friends.

Another problematic situation would be if your hobby happened to be particularly dangerous, It would be a nightmare for protective yanderes that can´t help but worry about you the entire time, like Nazuna for example. He wants to support you and the things you enjoy but he just can´t approve of this. You could get seriously injured or worse and his poor heart just can´t handle that! He swears the first time he saw you pulling something so dangerous, his heart nearly stopped. Nazuna is already very overprotective and anxious when you´re just doing normal, everyday things, he´s in full-on panic mode over your hobby.

He doesn´t like constricting you and taking away your freedom, especially when it concerns something as precious as your dear hobby because he wants you to be happy and he hates being controlling. But he also wants you to be alive.

So he´d gently try to convince you to maybe look for a hobby that isn´t as dangerous as what you´re doing right now? Maybe there´s a tamer version of your hobby somewhere out there that you could do instead? Pretty please? Nazuna is going to worry himself into an early grave if you just keep going

see how the only one who chooses to be pink has the best pink? hinata having the brightest one makes sense, and tori’s sweet pink matches with his cute image… kohaku’s is supposed to resemble cherry blossoms, and i see shu’s as a more elegant subdued pink.
