*The triplets is getting into the car*
Julietta: I’m driving.
Pepa, out of view: Shotgun!
Bruno, turning to face Pepa: Aww! But you had it on the way here-
Everyone except Pepa: WOAH-
Pepa, holding a shotgun: No! I found a shotgun! And I want the front seat! *Pumps gun*
Ya know whats sad? Is that in most of the pics or shots of the Triplets pre gift? They’re either all smiling and happy or at least one of them is.
Alma was a GOOD mother, she had happy babies, she had happy kids, they didn’t need the miracle to be happy, they didn’t need her to go overboard trying to protect them, she was already doing a good job at that ☹️
My drawing for dtiys by great @kinschi ❤❤ I just love her drawings. This took me forever and i dont know how to draw hair but still learning 🙈
I actually dont have any specific style. Just trying to do my best and learn as much as I can from every challange
Hey do you guys think Bruno feels even lonelier and more left out than he already feels when the Madrigals eat outside and he can’t join them behind the little crack?
Like imagine him sitting down, waiting for the family to get together for a meal but no one shows up and he goes “ah… must be a sunny day outside…It’s good that Pepa’s happy!” and just eats alone or doesn’t eat at all because he doesn’t care about the food he just cares about feeling included
part 2 of my loves
Julieta was 100% the initiator of their relationship, though she can partially attribute her confidence to Bruno's vision, that was done post-relationship! Agustin's interest was always obvious, and she would try her best to make hers as well in desperation for him to make a move.
Forgot to post this here :)
[Image Description: A digital comic of a teenage Julieta from Encanto. In the first panel, she is leaning on the kitchen counter with a lovestruck smile. She is surrounded by her thought cloud which is filled with Agustin and a lot of hearts. In the second panel, someone is shouting her name off-screen and her face is now horrified. Behind her is an on-fire oven and a lot of smoke. End Description.]
Soft Encanto Headcannons
I haven’t done one in a while but this has been in my drafts. It’s pretty short but maybe I’ll get inspired soon.
When Mirabel was little she gave Pepa matching necklaces for them and Pepa still wears it sometimes. When she doesn’t she keeps it on display in her room.
Sometimes Antonio calls Isabela “Bela” instead of “Isa” because it’s how he pronounced her name when he was really small.
I don’t speak Spanish and could be wrong about this but “Pepita” translates to nugget and I like to think Julieta would call her that.
Pepa likes to sit with Mirabel and run her fingers through her hair like she used to do with Julieta when they were young. Sometimes Mirabel falls asleep. It helps her de-stress
I like to think that since Julieta’s gift kept her busy most of the time, Pepa got really close with her nieces just to be there for them when their mom was busy.
Pepa and Mirabel clash sometimes but they usually work through it. Pepa relates to Mirabel being upset that Isabela is so perfect. She always tells her that she and Julieta worked through it and so could they. Those negative feelings are most prominent in their teen years and resolve over time. They clash because they love each other a lot and have a lot in common.
When Mirabel got her glasses she was four years old and everyone thought she was the cutest thing on earth. Pepa rained on her for a week. Julieta couldn’t stop telling her daughter how cute she was.
Sometimes Isabela will go to Abuela’s room to hang out with her. They’ll sit and talk for hours. This is mostly post-movie when Alma tries to get closer to everyone.
Sometimes to unwind Isabela and Julieta will drink wine together. Julieta will let her hair down and Isabela will play in her hair. She used to love playing in her mami’s hair when she was little so now it’s turned into this.
When Pepa was pregnant with Antonio, Camilo used to sit and talk to her baby bump for hours.
Even at age 50, Pepa and Julieta still steal each other’s stuff right out of their rooms. Julieta held Pepa’s breakfast hostage once because she took her lipstick.
“Julieta I’m starving!”
“Why don’t you just steal breakfast like you steal everything else.”
Agustin taught all the kids to sing. Sometimes he does vocal warm ups with them and he loves arranging harmonies with them.
When Pepa was pregnant with Antonio she’d sit and answer every single question Camilo and Mirabel had. Some of her answers were made up like when they asked her where babies come from.
When Camilo and Mirabel were little they used to take naps with Pepa. It was easier for Pepa to get a break from chores than Julieta and she really liked cuddling with her son and her niece.
One time Isabela accidentally broke Mirabel’s glasses and Mirabel swore she did it on purpose. Isabela felt bad so she asked Agustin to help her fix them so Mirabel would forgive her. Mirabel did end up forgiving her.
Antonio always has to yell something at Luisa so she doesn’t trip over him. Sometimes she just doesn’t see him. Sometimes his animals will make a noise to tell her he’s there.
Luisa loves hugs. She has a hug quota each day. She needs eight a day. The whole family knows this and will make sure she gets eight hugs a day. (I read somewhere that humans need eight a day to be healthy)
Dolores loves helping Julieta make breakfast. Sometimes she’ll do it on her own to give Julieta a break.
