AU idea: werewolf AU but Isabela and the other grandkids are the only ones currently with the werewolf curse, so Isabela and Dolores have to teach the rest of the grandkids how to live because the adults can’t know (since they were all raised without any knowledge on werewolves at all).

I think it would be Isabela angst all around to be honest but also everyone else

I'VE WAITED YEARS FOR SOMEONE TO ASK ME ABOUT THIS AU. HOLD ON. I MADE A DRAWING❗❗❗

No but seriously. I have an au like this thay's pretty much the same. It was one of my first of two aus (the first being a vocaloid au). And. It was mostly Isabela/Dolores angst. Mostly on the pressure of having to hide all of the situation from the family, specifically Alma. Isabela felt really pressured to hide. She hated it at first, but, at least with Dolores, she wasn't alone. She didn't like it anymore, but at least she was with Dolores during the whole thing. And both of them thought it would just be the two of them.

You know until Luisa. After her gift ceremony, around a week or two later, Isabela found her terrified in her room. So ok, there was Luisa. That was it. Until Camilo. And it was clear it was the curse, because Camilo can only shift into people, not animals. But after Mirabel's failed ceremony, Isabela was actually relieved; she thought that in order to get the curse, you had to have a gift. So when Mirabel didn't get one, she was more than happy. Well---turns out she was pretty much wrong. Far from it; Mirabel still did get cursed, just later than the usual one or two weeks, around a month.

By this point both Isabela and Dolores were used to it. And they did their very best to help the younger three (later four) hide their werewolf side. And it definitely was hard on them, especially when they were younger and didn't have half as much control. They were little kids, and the last they wanted to do was hide and keep it a secret. But, Isabela and Dolores knew better, so they listened, obviously.

But that didn’t lessen the pressure. Isabela was around Alma a lot, so she couldn’t always keep an eye on the others. She gets paranoid sometimes. The last thing she needs his trouble because of a 15-16 year long secret. But you know. Little lies can snowball. Bigger lies cause an avalanche 🤕

Now after Antonio was born, they was really stressing. Isabela was already protective enough of Mirabel. And that was thing about their dynamic. At a glance, they might seem a little distant, but if you watched them enough, you could see Isabela was way overprotective of Mirabel. Mostly because she had no gift and thus had no cover up if something happened. A common excuse they would use was "oh it must be the magic acting up". Mirabel didn't have that excuse, so Isabela watched her like a hawk in her younger years, and only really let up a little to keep an eye on Antonio, though Dolores had that covered.

And Dolores. She struggled enough with Camilo, but after Antonio, she was struggling even more. Sure he was only a baby, but it was obvious they couldn't delay the inevitable. Because of that, they let him in on the secret early; so he was expecting it. And he was more than excited, seeing that he was such a big animal fan.

Now imagine how horrified Isabela and Dolores are when Antonio gets cursed before his ceremony.

Ok I’ll shut up now.

Tiniest little sneeze you've ever heard

Sometimes an "Ep-tchii!" but most of the time it's just a little ᶜʰᶦᵉʷᵎ

Super bad dust allergy

A 2/10 in volume, 11/10 in pitch, and 5/10 in wetness

Normal sneezes about 3

Allergy sneezes anywhere from 5 to 20+

I feel like she had to train herself to sneeze quieter after getting her gift, but once she lost it they got louder again

She had to retrain herself to be quiet again when she got it back

Stifles don't relieve the tickle so rapid stifle sneezes for her

Absolutely torturous buildups

She will be on the edge of a sneeze for SO LONG before it finally comes out

Those super breathy buildups where her eyes would get squinty and her nose would scrunch up

I've just finished watching - take a wild guess - Encanto for the twentieth time and I completely forgot just how brief Bruno's appearance actually is in the entirety of the movie.

Remind me again how I managed to fall so hard for him in less than ten minutes of screen time?! 😳 Also, I've spent such a long time fleshing out his backstory, childhood, deepest musings, and pain and anguish that I was startled that it wasn't more than implied in the film. 🤭

Alma had heard the news, had seen the largest and brightest rainbow ever in the sky. She had heard from the priest that the ghost of Pedro, her Pedro, was visible again like he had been on both of their daughters wedding days. Visible and running around whooping and hollering like a maniac.

So she followed the noise and found him dancing in the streets with Marcia Guzman who laughed at his antics while Pepa and Julieta were trying to calm him down.

"Papa geez!" Julieta said but Pepa let out a squeak and then laughed when Pedro let go of Marcia to drag Pepa into a wild dance and then do the same to Julieta.

"I haven't seen you this happy since you learned Alma was pregnant with the triplets Pedro. What on earth has gotten into you?" Marcia asked and she had a point. The last time Pedro had whooped and danced around like this had been when he found out she was pregnant with the triplets...

Alma began to approach to hopefully speak with Pedro, she didn't get the chance on either wedding day after all, when she heard him laugh and call out something that had her freezing in place.

"I'm gonna be an Abuelo! Mi hijas are both expecting!!!"

Alma was frozen as the town broke out in whispers and murmurs and cheers while both of the apparently expecting women blush but were kissed by their husbands who were beaming.

Pepa and Julieta were pregnant? They...she was...

Alma was going to be Abuela?

Bro was so excited 😭😭 but he should be <33 Had to share with everyone, you already know‼️‼️‼️ Also. Yes. While technically Alma is gonna be an Abuela. I’m. Not sure she’ll see them, at least not until they’re a 3 or 4. And even then, she better keep her distance.

Also imagine Bruno blocks Alma from trying to visit his sisters after Isabela and Dolores’ birth. Like, women can’t get super stressed after having a baby, it can be super dangerous, especially for their brains, because they can get a brain hemorrhage of some kind, I can’t remember off the top of my head but. Anyway. While the husbands+Pedro stay at home with them, Bruno will usually stand guard and make sure Alma stays away. Lord knows she probably tried to visit. Just to see if her grandchildren are human she says.

Because Mirabel as a character is very close to your usual role as the magicless prefect who has to play therapist for every one in the school; there’s not much of significant difference from the usual concept of the reader. Similar to their reactions everyone is entranced by your goodwill and general optimism. Of course the desire to isolate you and never return you to a family who doesn’t seem to appreciate you reigns strong. But somehow you’re able to dance and sing around those with more volatile capabilities just long enough to keep everyone in a good mood.

Hekate is the goddess of magic and mediumship, so my theory is that her asteroid talks about your spiritual gifts. Natives with Hekate in their first House could have very strong clairaudient abilities or are just extremely sensitive about they hear. This asteroid indicates a long journey of struggling to accept who they are and being able to see the good within themselves. I feel like these individuals are powerfully gifted with psychic abilities, but don't want them and have tried to walk away from those parts about themselves and their purpose, multiple times. Their purpose could include helping the world in some way but they get overwhelmed by the responsibility and feel singled out on why it has to specifically be them to fulfill this role. They channel stuff with ease but could purposely ignore their intuition, guidance that they literally hear from their guides, or any other outside voices in order to keep their peace. It's like they're scared of their own power.

I'm picking up this scenario where you guys will be known as the medicine person in your community. Someone that's well known, loved, and sought out for your metaphysical and holistic methods. You guys are gifted with utilizing different herbs and other natural ingredients to help cure sicknesses. There's also something about your smile that positively changes something within other people. People could see you as an earth angel, which makes sense with your talents regarding natural remedies.

Twelfth House

Beatrix walked down the street looking at all the missing posters that were older and newer, especially ones of their sibling. It angered her that people were trying to separate her from her sibling and she would make sure that what people didn't know about her is that she knew her way around gossip but what she knew would be the most effective was blackmail and that's what she was best at. Causing Havoc causing chaos causing friendships to drift apart by one single picture. By spreading around rumors or hearing across the Halls she would use it to her advantage. It was her forte to cause chaos and she loved it. Finally as she continued to walk she looked at the side noticing someone talking.

And of course it was someone that she hated someone that was getting in the way of her perfect family. The search party the disgusting that disgusting search party that tried to separate her family. A disgusting man indeed that had that party Dragon whatever that bastard's name is. She tried her best to find a hiding place and listened into the conversation to get any details or anything to get some dirt on them. She pulled out her phone and started recording. Listening into the conversation waiting for anything incriminating waiting for anything to to spell out of their bitter mouth.

" dragon I understand you're angry and concerned but you are not the only one that's worried for them"

" Joe you didn't know them like I did it's my fault that they're missing you don't understand why I need to help them why I need to find them"

There was a long pause before Dragon sat down on the ground. He felt so guilty he knew he wished every second of that day that he was by them to see if they were okay but he knew he knew that even if he was by their side it would still happen it would just be inevitable. Although he's wondering how they're doing or if they're even alive. Joe sat down by dragon; he had missed their partner every second of the way even those he knew that they wouldn't text him anymore. He missed them, he missed his love. But he wasn't giving up hope anytime soon he was hoping praying that they were alive he was hoping one day they'll be able to hold hands and hug again.

Dragon however wasn't so hopeful he was beginning to lose sight there wasn't even a sign that they were alive there was only evidence. They haven't even gone to the core of where they were. He barely even knew where they were at this time he had suspicions but those weren't grounds enough to search the forest. Honestly he never trusted moth's new friend he saw that he was dangerous. Honestly he knew that the Hondo's whole family was dangerous especially that strange daughter of his the one with the phone. And as he stated that he heard a familiar camera click and quickly got up.

" damn it" Beatrix quickly got up and started running away. She didn't get anything incriminating but she did get some information her father would love. She smiled thinking about how proud her father would be. She quickly stopped after a few minutes looking over. She knew that he was chasing her so she had to make some sacrifices so she quickly headed in an Alleyway and watched as the boxer ran past her. She smiled. She listened to the audio quietly. She smiled thinking about how proud Honda would be of her she walked calmly back into the forest smiling keeping her head up high kind of skipping at this point she stopped again and noticed a dead Sparrow she picked it up and put it in her bag. She finally made it back home and smiled, walking up to her father and giving him a hug. Honda hugged back happily and smiled down at his daughter " did you see anything new in the town" he said in the questioning tone tilting his head.

" nothing new was in the town but I did catch the search party planning on going into the forest if they have legal rights to" she said smiling showing him the audio his smile faltered but he gently rubbed her head smiling down at her " great job Beatrix now you should go talk to your mother for a few minutes she's quite distressed at the moment" Beatrix nodded and walked towards her mother.

Adarna was worried. On the other hand, the moth hadn't been feeling well for the past few days. They were sad and they weren't eating; they could barely walk or smile anymore; they just looked like they were in constant pain. It was almost baffling how they were alive at this time. Beatrix looked at their mother with such a distraught expression their sibling was sick and no one was doing anything about it. An expression of sadness and anger went over her face as she walked into her siblings room. Adarna walked in besides Beatrix looking at Moth; she gently tucked them in watching them to check if anything was out of place. Adarna was worried nothing was going as planned and she doesn't know what Honda will do if everything continues going awry. Finally Beatrix spoke up " did you check their ankles their ankles were a weird color yesterday"

"What" Adarna said her heart dropping it was almost like a shadow went over her face Beatrix walked over and gently removed the blanket from Moth finally it was shown why they were acting like this one of their ankles was completely and utterly infected it was a gross and disgusting color it was purple or green they couldn't tell it was shifting at every angle. Beatrix was mostly disgusted about how it was turning out but she knew her father knew how to help. However Adarna didn't like it whenever Hondo would deal with these situations she learned from her own experience that Hondo was a quite violent person when things didn't go his way. But she knew this was a life or death situation when it came to moth. This was life or death if the infection got any worse they would most likely perish.

Adarna looked over hearing familiar footsteps walk up the stairs Hondo looked at her with a smile. Although she knew this was a sign for her to walk out the room she couldn't help but notice something silver gleaning in the light she knew exactly what it was she knew what was happening but she wondered if Beatrix knew what was happening.

Deep down Beatrix knew what was happening; she knew exactly what Hondo did and what he's going to do. To be honest she didn't like the idea of it, she knew it and she hated it because her sibling was going to get hurt. But she knew the exact thing that would cheer her up, a beautiful sleeping Sparrow. She took out the dead sparrow that was in her bag and took out her old sewing kit and began to work. Not only was she working on the sparrow but she was working on making sure the search party was going nowhere. It would basically go black a search party gone black although she tried to keep her anger under control but the thought that a dirty disgusting search party getting in her way of her perfect family made her angry. She hated her mother's search party and she hated her own search party.

There were crunching sounds in the other room. She could hear everything, even the muffled screams coming from their siblings but it was the only way to keep them safe so they wouldn't die of infection. She continued to show up the sparrow until finally it looked like it was alive it looked like it was perching. She smiled looking down at her beautiful creation. It would be a perfect get well soon present for moth. Once Beatrix was done with her gift she went back on her gossiping app and posted the video that she took of dragon and Joe fighting putting the caption.

" Moth search party gone AWOL #spread the word".

She smiled and waited for a second before she finally heard ring after ring after ring after ring of notifications. She knew that the word had gone out no one was going to look for Moth after the search party was in such a bad light.

The search had gone black and that's what she wanted and honestly that's what made her the most happy no longer those people will be in the way. She will do anything to protect her family or what family that she has. Anything will do she will do anything to protect her family she will kill. She will ruin the reputation of anyone. She will quite literally burn the town to the ground if it meant protecting what she had left of a family she didn't care who she had to kill, she didn't care who was going to get hurt. This family will be protected no matter what.

It doesn't matter who she hurts it doesn't matter who she kills it doesn't matter what she had to do to make the search go black and make people realize how idiotic the search party is Moth doesn't need anyone but their family.

No one will get in their way no one. Finally she put her phone down and looked out the window smiling at all the damage she caused. She watches multiple people start tweeting about the video she put out. People were no longer respecting the search parties and thinking it should be called off. She smiled again thinking about how many people she was protecting. Finally….

The search had gone black
