POV: Walking through a forest with an oddly dressed band of a teenage girl, her hermanito, and their animal buddies trailing behind you.
This was part of a DTIYS on Instagram (hosted by @ekaarts ), where the prompt was to draw Mirabel in a witch coat/hat. However I took some creative freedoms in adding her partners in crime to keep company. 😉🪄🦋🐾🐀
I am so excited to finally finish and share my entry to the #dtiys of the wonderful @dororoxpenana whose fic "Love and Roscones" I recently finished reading. Her OC María García is adorable and charming, and I love her. I hope I did her justice with this piece.
Also, I’m hosting a DTIYS on Instagram for my 3 year anniversary for it if any of y’all wanna join lol. Ik I’m not active on the Encanto side of Tumblr, but here it is if anyone wants to join it
(Copied and pasted the rules from my Insta caption lmao)
- Use #presley3years and mention me so I don’t miss it
- You don’t have to follow me to join, but it is highly appreciated!
- There’s no deadline because I am too busy to draw prizes for people unfortunately
- Feel free to change up poses and composition of you want. You can also include your OCs and other canon characters in this too, as long as the “Like father like daughter” message between Abigail (my OC on the left) and Bruno is still clear
- NO PROSHIPPING, AI ART, OR WHITEWASHING IS ALLOWED WHATSOEVER. THIS IS NOT NEGOTIABLE
- Same goes for traced and stolen art. Your submission will not be accepted if you do
DTIYS entry for @/_viki_g_art on Instagram - as part of their 500+ follower milestone! ❤️🧡 @vikigyt
(not the proudest result of mine, but I'll continue working on traditional/digital pieces like this one - with hopefully much more traditional than digital.)
Me being me, I had to add a rat. This one is Alejandra! I've written about her before but now you get to see her irl🤪🥰😌😌 she's a mama's girl💕 'mama' being Bruno😭
A new DTIYS I joined. This time to celebrate the 10k milestone of none other than the amazing @the_art_of_rome
I'm so glad to finally share this piece with you. I love how it turned out so much.
Something I love about DTIYS challenges is that I have a strong urge to make it look slightly like the original piece, forcing me to try out new techniques.
This was my first time slightly blending the shadows and highlights, but even though they could have looked better, I will definitely do it again.
The hair. It was an amazing experience. I love how the colors turned out.
But my favorite is still the lighting. It's incredible how much it can make a picture better.
Once again, congratulations on 10K, @the_art_of_rome and thank you for the fun DTIYS.
I've finished my contribution to @glitternightingale's Draw This in Your Style challenge! This was so much fun. It's my first time drawing Julieta, Agustín, Pepa, and Félix, so it's a learning experience. I'm especially happy with how Pepa's hair came out.
