Hi skrunkly Bruno!
Sooooooo I was going to try to finish this for Purim, but... life. It happened. :'D Anyway. Here's a WIP!
...
The Purim play starts in an hour, and Pepa is running behind.
She grabs the last pieces of her costume, catching out of the corner of her eye a curly-haired, pigtail-topped head moving past the bedroom doorway. It's Felicidad, her and Félix's first grandchild. (With another on the way! Dolores is due in about seven months.)
“Fifi,” Pepa calls, stepping beside the four-year-old. “Where are you rushing off to?”
Felicidad raises the item she’s holding.
"Ojos 'man," comes the reply, unabashed and matter-of-fact. She sounds so much like her mamá. In her hands, the pastry looks especially large: a golden, savory-sweet puff ball baked around a boiled egg and topped with two crisscrossing strands of dough. It makes Pepa smile, remembering how Felicidad once asked about the pastry, named after the villainous character, Haman. The little girl's nose crinkled, and she'd let out a shriek of laughter when Tío Camilo shifted shape while explaining that the boiled egg was Haman’s ojo and needed to be plucked out and eaten (alongside the bread) because it’s oh so delicious.
“Oh, I see,” Pepa says, and as the two of them turn the corner together, things click into place. “And where might the ojos de Haman be rushing off to?”
“Tío 'buelo Bruno’s tummy!”
...
End of WIP. But, Pepa and Felicidad get to Bruno's room (where he's in costume, probably playing Esther), and Pepa's like, "So, are you asking your great-niece to bring you food now?" And Bruno is like, "W-what? No! She was staring at my stomach for five seconds and just ffft! dashed off!" 😂

Dangers Revealed and Hardships Healed
Artwork to accompany @empty-cryptid's fic Madremonte's Garden and the Wakos' Cave for @encantobigbang

Details exploring Pepa's gift, the relationship and childhood of the triplets, and how they feel reuniting after Bruno had been apart from Julieta and Pepa for so long! It's wonderful. Highly recommend. 10/10 fic.

Madremonte's Garden and the Wakos' Cave
The triplets decide to rekindle a tradition they had before Bruno hid in the walls. Taking a hike to a special place for some sibling bonding sounds like a wonderful idea now that Bruno has returned, Casita is reborn, and the family is healing nicely.
This event was a lot of fun and empty-cryptid was a pleasure to work with. I love what they came up with and I hope everyone reads it.

Omg thank you!!
Since this is bird ask #2, I think I want to highlight the kākāpō this time :D I love these guys so much. They're chunky, flightless, nocturnal parrots for Aotearoa. My absolute favorite part about them (apart from how they look) are their mating rituals :D They dig domes into the ground and then make really low pitched booming sounds. They've got these really mossy covered bodies too, so they blend in really well with the forest floor.

Not officially, but I'm always down for a prompt! 👀 (I also took this as a modern AU with no powers lol.)

"Ay, he's being so stubborn," Pepa mutters, shaking her head in commiseration as Julieta joins her by the fence that surrounds the petting zoo, rejected stool in hand.
They look up, toward the middle of the enclosure, at the sound of their brother making yet another loud, almost primal grunt. Bruno hops a mighty hop and attempts to swing his short leg over Lucero the horse's back, flailing like a crab before finally dropping onto his ass, shirt rucked up over his paunchy belly, while the eldest triplet groans and says something about an ice pack.

The fact that this is technically fanart of a FNAF SB au... It’s based on a scene from chapter 12 of Cryptid Sightings by @naffeclipse - and yet it’s literally just the rake. Nothing FNAF there!
But yeah the scene stuck with me and I wanted to dedicate some time to making it look really good.
Also of note, I don’t think I’ve properly seen images of the rake, so I was working on text description alone. I had fun :>

The emptiness aches, a hole in my chest and my stomach and my head, a hole in everything. I am nothing but space to be filled. I’m desperate for it, grabbing at anything that might patch the holes. I steal traits to make a patchwork skin, phrases picked up from others construct my dialogue, and my fears dictate how I present myself. More, more, more. Never my own, never myself, just taking an ever increasing amount from my fellows and pretending that it’s enough. Blending in, still painfully empty, and they don’t notice as their faces and names become mine as well.
