Ekleipsis updated!

Ekleipsis is my nanowrimo novel I'm updating every day this month :) It's a fantasy adventure book with found family and subverting destiny as central themes, and a cast of queer characters as the main cast.

The official summary:

The universe is dying. Every century the Lunar god and the Sol god choose two Quasar: champions that do battle to sacrifice one another so that their souls may breathe energy into the withering universe. It is the highest honor, to be marked by the gods themselves for this sacred task.

At least, that's how it's been framed by the gods.

Clover is indifferent to the tales of the Quasar; she only wants to find her missing brother using highly regulated Thauma, the magic that runs the world. She never intended to get swept up in the business of Prince Aspen, one of the chosen Quasar and future ruler of Fern Helion, or Alouette, the most wanted criminal in the country who claims to be a fallen god themself.

Follow six characters in this world as they navigate their own personal struggles and are brought together to do the impossible: free five of the sealed Gods and take down the two major gods to stop the sacrificial cycle.

the main charas of my nano novel? they are:

-old lady who def murdered her ex husband and adopted a god, and is way too normal about this to be normal. also one of the most skilled magic users ever and believes in slut rights. kind of a gilf. reblog

-the literal prince of a country, who is also the Chosen One. of course. but hes a huge asshole about it and everything in general, and this will Never Change. appropriately bratty for a 17 year old. his trans swag btw . also a horsegirl type

-a god who is a wanted criminal, a genderfuckery icon, verified Bird Momence, mildly an amnesiac, has anxiety, and wears a wizard hat to seem cooler (does not work) no one takes them seriously despite them being, a literal God. major L

-the nicest guy u will ever meet who has to solve every single problem with tremendous violence or he WILL die. also invented daddy issues btw and can bake well enough to win the country fair

-autistic icon whos literally just here for his bf, kind of just Some Guy but is everyones FAV Just Some Guy and has tremendous swag bc hes a Guy with Long Hair also. can do a perfect french braid

-girl who is the worlds first female funnyman and does embroidery despite the Chronic Pains bc she is so epic, she also invented mommy issues and will befriend anyone who breathes because FUCK you if u think u arent gonna be her friend. also 100% believes in horoscopes, despite meeting SEVERAL gods who tell her its not real. shes an OPTIMIST.

He's been staring at her. She's a nice girl. She's waiting for him to say something as he approached her first after her photoshoot (where he modelled. while being pensive near a fountain.) But he does not say anything. He's got stage fright. In front of a single person. When modelling, he daydreams, or just continues whatever he is doing. He doesn't get what she sees in him (despite his past, he thinks of himself as just a person.)

If she does not mutter something he might just spend the entire day like this. Hypnotized by her face.
