Daisy Chainsaw, Lovely Ugly Brutal World from Eleventeen (1992).
I've got a new dress with large breasts and I look funny in it . My beautiful boy has brown eyes. And we both smell immensley. We live in our dreams. He heals himself with open arms and now he bashes his head again and again on my bed, and on my knees. He's an odd boy. Lucky boy. Makes big noise with big bottle. And crazy lovely ugly cruel world. Lovely ugly cruel world. Lovely ugly cruel world. I wear a nice blue hat just to keep in with swing of things. And I go to church young. You go to church young. And church filled my face. Hey, hey. We're in the movies says I. I see a pile of soot On my head. I see a pile of soot.

Right so this is just gonna personally annoy me if i dont mention it.
Tumblr media
I'm fine with this whole thing except the 'North Riding of Yorkshire'.
As a Yorkshire resident, I'm here to tell you that that county does not exist. The only of the 3 Yorkshire counties (there is no south don't get me started) East Riding is the only one to be called 'Riding'. Riding means third and I'm failry sure (you are welcome to fact check me) East Riding is called so because it was the third Yorkshire county to be named.
I'm just being annoying but I care about shit like this and like most yorkshiremen i'm very proud of my county.
Also He has a London accent (In the dub) and just go look up a Yorkshire accent. Even if you where to live down south for 20 years you wouldn't loose an accent as strong as the one we have up here (My family can vouch for this). Though I wouldn't put it past Sherlock to hide his accent.
Okay rant over.

20th June 2022: Bempton Cliffs post two of two: Butterflies, flowers and landscape photos
Following on from my previous post, it was also a brilliant day of butterflies today. Small Tortoiseshells seemed to be everywhere with Red Admiral seen well too. I took the sixth picture in this photoset of a Red Admiral and seventh of Small Tortoiseshell. It was fitting these two should star today as they were my original two favourite butterflies on my list of now twenty one favourite butterflies, the Small Tortoiseshell my original. As my previous post explains its the group of seabirds my original favourite birds I saw well today so it was nice to have the butterflies seen too. Guillemot was my original favourite birds of my list of thirty four now and I don’t think I’ve ever seen or photographed both Guillemot and what I nickname my Guillemot of butterflies Small Tortoiseshell on a day before so it was quite something for me, I’ve seen so many Small Tortoiseshells around lately which is amazing. I was also over the moon to spot the orange glow of a fritillary in the grass above a cliff a Dark Green Fritillary. My first of the year and one of my earliest ever sightings of one in a year to take my butterfly year list to thirty one. A great bonus this holiday early on. Large Skipper and Small Blue were highlights too.
I saw a brilliant array of flowers/plants again today including poppies and scabious looking brilliant by the visitor centre I took the second and tenth pictures in this photoset of them respectively, so much red campion like the bit shown in the fifth picture I took today in this photoset it really is out well here a flower I’ve had a top year for so far it paints the place pink so well I liked appreciating the whole plant as well as the flower it and I believe chamomile there could have been some oxeye daisies too on the cliffs made great colours to have seabirds among in pictures I took, beautiful hyacinth type flowers I believe, spotted orchid, broad-leaved and white clover, cleavers, sorrel or possibly dock, lots of hogweed painting the landscape well again, meadow crane’s-bill looking great again, beautiful thistle and pinappleweed a nice one I’ve started seeing again lately which I learnt and enjoyed last year. There were some nice fox-and-cubs I saw nearby on the way to here today.
I took the first, third, fourth, eight and ninth pictures in this photoset of nice views today it really was a beautiful sunny day and the divine blue sea and rich and colourful meadows were stunning it was great to see the sheer cliffs and sweet rock formations and see well down the coast which excites me. An amazing day today.
Wildlife Sightings Summary in full for my day at Bempton Cliffs: My first ever Black-browed Albatross, my first Dark Green Fritillary of the year, seven of my favourite birds the Puffin, Guillemot, Razorbill, Gannet, Fulmar, Kittiwake and Barn Owl, three of my favourite butterflies the Large Skipper, Red Admiral and Small Tortoiseshell, lots of Jackdaws, Carrion Crow including one carrying off a seabird egg, pigeons, Skylark, Meadow Pipits seen well, Corn Bunting, Linnet, Tree Sparrow, House Sparrow, possible Blackcap I believe, Swift, Swallow, Herring Gull, Small Blue, a possible moth and I believe an aphid on the scabious.
It was so lovely to see a Pheasant with adorable chicks on the way here today.
My first post about today is here: https://dansnaturepictures.tumblr.com/post/687615349094580224/20th-june-2022-bempton-cliffs-post-one-of-two-the

𝘾𝙤𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙥 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙤𝙣! 🏖
The kids and I plus people from my Voluntary work spent the day in Bridlington - organised by @lighthousecommunityhub 'Lighthouse Outreach Project.'
Each week it has great community activities on, they provide food parcels, a baby bank and offer cooked meals too. I took my youngest to toddler group there and when she started school I just wanted to pay it forward and offer any help I could.
Which brings me to what did we do at Bridlington?! Well, we spent the day in a lovely seaside town where my children frolicked on the beach (Winnie stripped off and was having a mermaid moment in the sea, but discovered after that bathing in that particular part of the sea isn't advised but hey, building immunity) we have fish and chips and of course checked out the arcades.
Bridlington, on the Yorkshire coast, is a tradition seaside resort with golden sands, a promenade and attractive gardens. There is a working harbour located between the two main beaches to the north and south of the town - a dynamic business hub, crucial to the town and its residents. At the helm are the Bridlington Harbour Commissioners, a group of individuals, supported by an administrative team, who manage, protect and develop all aspects of the harbour and its activities.
It's a place with a rich history, stunning scenery, and a range of attractions and activities to suit all ages and interests - plus a popular destination for birdwatchers, with the nearby Bempton Cliffs nature reserve being home to thousands of seabirds. The town has a range of accommodation options, including hotels, guest houses, and self-catering cottages too!
Situated in the region East Riding of Yorkshire in England! It is on the Holderness part (Flamborough Head to the Humber estuary) of the Yorkshire Coast by the North Sea. The town is about 28 miles (45 km) north of Hull and 34 miles (55 km) east of York. The stream called Gypsey Race flows through the town and enters the North Sea at the harbour.

Once a bustling hub on England's southeast coast, the medieval port town of Ravenser Odd now lies hidden beneath the waves. This fascinating town, thriving in the 13th and 14th centuries, faced the relentless forces of nature - ultimately disappearing into the depths of history.
Located near today's Spurn Head in East Riding of Yorkshire, Ravenser Odd's story is one of prosperity, strategic importance, and sudden decline. Founded by the Counts of Aumale, possibly Ferdinand II of Castille or his son, John of Ponthieu, this port rapidly rose to prominence, outshining even Kingston upon Hull at its peak!
But coastal erosion and the shifting Humber River spelled its doom. The final blow came with the devastating Saint Marcellus Flood in 1362, erasing Ravenser Odd from the map.
Now, centuries later, scientists led by Professor Dan Parsons from the University of Hull are on a mission to rediscover this lost town. Using advanced echosounder technology, they hope to reveal the secrets lying 500 meters off Spurn Point.

On the 2nd of March, 2010, Russell Bohling, 18, left him home in Bempton, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. He planned on driving to Bishop Burton College in Beverley where he was studying bricklaying. It’s not known if Russell ever made it to college or not that day but after leaving his home, he vanished. Russell’s car was discovered around 45 miles away at Bempton Cliffs, a popular suicide spot. Inside the car was a parking ticket that had been purchased at 11:30AM on the day he disappeared.
Humberside Police were widely criticised for their efforts to search for Russell. During the initial search, The Humberside Fire and Rescue Service used heat sensitive cameras to search the RAF bunker beside Bempton Cliffs which would be completely ineffective if Russell was deceased. Moreover, it would take police another three months until they started to interview potential witnesses. “We accuse Humberside Police of failing our son and betraying the trust of the family and the public,” said Russell’s father, Roger. Humberside Police were quick to determine that Russell had most likely committed suicide.
Russel’s family have long. believed that something much more sinister happened and that finding his body is the only way to end their heartache. They are adamant that Russell would not have committed suicide and that he was not unhappy whatsoever. Roger, said he believes that somebody convinced Russell to skip class and instead drive to Bempton Cliffs and that Russell couldn’t have planned the diversion from college as he didn’t know his father was going to let him take the car until minutes before he left the family home. Roger also said that the car must have been filled up with patrol along that way but that Russell’s debit card had not been used and he had very little cash on him.
As for the motivation, Roger believes that Russell was killed in a botched abduction after telling somebody that he was scheduled to give £300,000 from his father to set up his own business. “We have never received a ransom note and I admit it’s pure speculation. But Russell had had asthma and if there was an attempt to restrain him, it could have brought on an attack and it may have gone horribly wrong,” said Roger. Something else the family have also considered is that there was an occult element to the abduction. Russell stated that he researched RAF Bempton and discovered that it was used by a witches coven.
To this day, Russell Bohling still remains missing.
