Is this just my perception because of tumblr or do people actually care less about this stunt than any others before? like theres nothing to “chew on” for the gp either. they just do their thing and some harries get excited im sure but at what point does this become boring for them too?
I can only speak for myself, but yes, I’m hardly fazed by it all. Holivia has really bruised us in so many ways because they’ve gone off script so much.
Olivia herself was extremely attention hungry from the beginning. She would seek to be near Harry all the freaking time since her calendar was empty with no job in sight and split custody.
She would take her tired kids to the final show knowing very well People would drop the Holivia BUA less than 24 hours later.
Which took way too long in everyone’s opinion anyway, with all of her shit reflecting so badly on Harry. Hooking up with a subordinate, their shady stunt kickoff with Sudeikis hinting him and her weren’t done at the time, the embarrassing drama around Florence and Shia, the nasty custody battle that followed, the whack DWD promo interviews that revealed her twisted views on feminism, her arrogance towards Harry’s fans and calling us “mosquitoes”. Even Harry’s het fanbase bailed on her eventually, and they usually idolize any girl Harry lays his eyes on. I will never understand why Harry dragged her along for so long.
Olivia meant bad news in every way for Harry and in hindsight it looked like she needed Harry with his “good guy image” in her life to prove she’s not a terrible person.
With Hussell, Harry used familiar patterns from the beginning. The VIP tickets to the shows, the soho house roof top sun bathings, the strolls through London. We’re back to things being predictable. Taylor Russell has even received the same gold star package Olivia did, gets into Vogue, Harry Lambert takes care of her look and overall getting a huge push in the press for holding Harry’s hand. As long as TR doesn’t turn out to be another awful person in Harry’s life, we’ll be all but eye rolling from afar and yeah, possibly not care at all until the next BUA.

There’s a trend in fandom to write Theon bullying Jon and even other Stark kids on occasion. How accurate is that in terms of book canon? Where does this portrayal come from and what role does it tend to play in stories?
Book Canon
Because Jon leaves for the Wall so soon into the books, there isn’t much in the way of interaction between Jon and Theon, but there’s enough. In GoT Bran 1, Jon calls Theon an ass behind his back after he kicks a severed head. A little while later, the two of them have a perfectly civil exchange about the mother wolf. After the adults insist the wolf pups are likely to die, Theon quips how the albino is likely to die fastest. Jon responds by glaring and insisting it won’t because it belongs to him. In Jon 1, Theon ignores Jon on his bench as he walks by on the way to the high table, something Jon says is nothing new. And that’s it in terms of their on-page interactions.
After they leave Winterfell, they think of each other only occasionally. In SoS Jon 5 when Jon learns about his brother’s deaths and the sack of Winterfell he thinks that he never liked Theon, but he wouldn’t do that. In the next Jon chapter, he draws comfort during the battle for Castle Black from a quip Theon once made and admits that Theon was the better hunter.
Theon, meanwhile, describes Jon as sullen boy, quick to sense a slight, jealous of Theon’s status yet accorded more honor by the household in CoK Theon 1. In Theon 6, he considers joining the Night’s Watch, recalling that it was honorable enough for Jon Snow. In DwD Prince of Winterfell, he reminisces about sparring with Jon and Robb in the yard and soaking in the godswood pools after. In A Ghost in Winterfell, he thinks about how Jon will take his head in a heartbeat in an amused, suicidal ideation sort of way.
All told, Theon and Jon don’t like each other (Jon actually says it out right), and they both express jealousy over what they see is the other’s better treatment. Jon thinks Theon’s an ass (accurate) and Theon thinks Jon’s a sullen, prickly bastard (also accurate), yet they both respect each other and have fond memories. Neither one has any memories of Theon bullying Jon. By contrast, Jeyne bullying Arya is portrayed on the page and recalled later by both parties.
So, if there is no canonical evidence for Theon bullying Jon, where did the idea come from and why does it keep cropping up?
Where Did It Come From
Show-verse Theon is absolutely a bully. The show runners wrote brand new scenes and modified ones from the book to showcase Theon being a bully who is antagonistic to the Starks in general and Jon in particular. Take, for example, the wolf adoption scene which is altered so that Theon snaps at Robb for daring to give him an order and then insists that Jon take the runt of the litter. There’s a later scene where Theon goes out of his way to taunt Osha after she’s been taken prisoner. Show-verse Theon is a far bigger asshole than book-verse Theon and way more comfortable mouthing off to the Starks.
As it stands, book-verse Theon is a complicated and uncomfortable character. He’s an ass, the type of guy to kick a severed head at an execution. His sense of humor is dark and irreverent, even if only a fraction of it actually leaves his mouth. In his memories, he admits to deliberately trying to wind up Benfred Tallhart and Roose Bolton at various points. Where most POV characters are either monogamous or chaste, Theon is a horny as heck and treats women as disposable sex-objects. He tells himself it’s better to be seen as cruel than weak and repeatedly advices Robb towards violence. And all of that is before all the terrible things he does after taking Winterfell. For a certain segment of fans, it makes sense to project this awful behavior backwards so he was always a bad person who did bad things, like bullying.
The fanon echo chamber is also a contributing factor. There is a lot of canon to read through and, if you read enough fic, it’s easy enough to confuse it with other people’s head canons.
Where It Crops Up
Theon is rarely the focus of those stories which feature him as a bully. There are a large number of stories where Theon bullying Jon or, indeed, any of the Stark kids, and otherwise being generally unpleasant is just background radiation in a story about life in Winterfell or the Starks being awesome. Often times, bully Theon will serve as device for making other characters not normally in Winterfell like ward OCs or canon Stark antagonists more likable by contrast. In stories where the Starks are somehow winning at the game of thrones, Theon’s earlier bullying will serve as justification for a rather nasty comeuppance even though the taking of Winterfell never occurred.
In stories where Theon being a bully is the focus, the bullying is usually in the service of Jon’s character. A character being bullied builds automatic sympathy points with readers. Theon bullying Jon thus make Jon a more sympathetic character and justifies his angst. This is especially important in stories where his canonical excuses for angst, namely his bastard underdog status and Catelyn’s emotional abuse, are downplayed or removed entirely. In a modern high school AU or similar, Jon needs a bully like Theon or his character just doesn’t work.
And then there’s the undeniable spice of enemies to lovers tropes. Bully, or at least asshole rival, Theon will crop up quite a bit in Jon/Theon fic. Sometimes the plot will be Theon bullying Jon to get his attention and burn off some sexual tension. In other cases, it will be about Jon learning to see through Theon’s bravado bullshit to his tender heart bellow. Either way, the story must start with Jon hating Theon so the ending emotional payoff is that much better. Then there’s the darker fic where Theon’s bullying is a prelude to either a bdsm thing or an outright abusive romance.
There is nothing inherently wrong about writing Theon as a bully. Fanfiction is all about taking a story and making it your own, actual canon be damned. They way fandom has seemingly collectively chosen to interpret Jon and Theon’s relationship is an interesting trend.

Yet another Boyd Drake Propaganda Post from yours truly, specifically for the @eggcrackerbracket tournament this time:
First of all, he’s a robot Pinocchio allusion who decided he was a definitely real boy and then he WAS one. We all know robots and Pinocchio allusions are so trans of gender, and so being both makes him extra trans of gender!
Literally uses the phrase ‘I’m Boyd, a Definitely Real Boy!’ to introduce himself. 🥺🥺🥺
The entirety of Astro BOYD involves him fighting to be seen as a regular boy rather than a killing machine. He even fights against the programming of an evil scientist trying to use him as a weapon and MAKES THE CHOICE to be a real boy. His transgenderism is so strong, he can even fight against evil programming that is trying to control him and WIN.
Astro BOYD as a whole could very well be an allegory for what it’s like to be neurodivergent, in addition to being an allegory for being transgender. Him and Huey Duck are clearly autistic-coded, and the phrase ‘He’s a kid like me, just wired a little differently’ is used.
They’re also best friends and spend a chunk of the episode taking a tour of furry Tokyo to do research for a shared special interest. (Also I like to imagine it doubles as a date for them, because cute 🥺).
Huey also spends the entire episode reaffirming Boyd’s desire to be seen as a real boy. He’s the best triplet for this reason alone.
Less happy fact about the episode, Boyd’s creator ends up misgendering him as ‘it’ for a spell and reject his claims of being a real boy because of some stuff that happens within the episode.
But it’s fine because he’s going up to bat for him by the end and his reaffirmation of Boyd’s chosen identity is what ends up saving the day in the end. (Also Gyro is pretty trans-coded himself so we’ll let it slide but it still took me a while to come around on him as a character 😒).
Even before this episode aired, I already had such a soft spot for Boyd. I literally only started watching the show because I saw GIFsets of a previous episode with him, and he was just so PRECIOUS (and gave me Angus McDonald vibes) so I knew I had to watch the show just so I could get to his debut episode. And then Astro BOYD came along and cemented his place as my absolute favorite character in the show, and probably one of my favorite characters of all time.
Anyway I was lightly dipping my toes into a they/them enby identity before this episode dropped, but after months of having Boyd as a comfort character after the episode aired, a LOT of things began to click for me internally. And now here I am, a he/they transmasc with one of my chosen names being Boyd. (Listen I know technically I was already not-cis before that, but he still absolutely played a big part in delivering the final blow to my egg and helping me settle comfortably into a transmasc identity).
Also one final fact; Scrooge McDuck inspired Astro Boy, the first anime character. And then Ducktales made Boyd, an homage to Astro Boy as a whole. So Boyd is technically only a few steps away from the invention of anime. He deserves some respect for that fact alone from those of you who got their egg cracked by an anime character.
Okay I’m done now. Vote for the boy who cracked my egg because he is so polite and sweet and a definitely real boy and he deserves to at least get past round one 🥺🥺🥺
Also also if you want, watch Ducktales 2017 because it’s pretty fun. Or just watch Astro BOYD, because it’s the best episode. Sorry DWD fans, I know where my loyalties lie.

Hi India. What is with fan's obsession for Harry to disappear? For the past several months I see that whenever he says something it is taken out of context or exaggerated to be a hint or confirmation that he's taking a long break, and under most posts about him people are saying they'll miss him but they better not see him for at least a year. It feels super controlling and I wonder if it's tied to that anon Gina? got a while back saying that after tour Harry was going to disappear and focus on raising a family with Louis. Is that why fans so desperately want to see him disappear? I don't think it's weird for him to say he's going away for a bit after tour. What is the alternative? Touring up until he releases HS4 and then start another? He's been doing LOT for 2-3 years and it needs refreshing. He'll need new visuals, outfits etc. If he was having a long tour break (years) I would have thought he'd say as HSHQ could easily capitalize off his last few shows. Imo he's working on HS4 now and that's why he did the LA and NY residencies so he had access to writing/recording in one place. He also had Kid Harpoon with him during the residencies, Japan and now London. He's probably writing or recording inbetween these 4 Wembley shows and the days before and after. Obviously I might be wrong and maybe he'll elaborate more in his other shows. But I just hate the desperation for him to disappear and I don't know that it's in his best interests. He says a million times how much he loves performing and fans still say he's being forced to do it by Jeff.
Love, I don’t know which blogs you’re following, but everyone I’m following isn’t “desperate” for him to disappear. I think you might be reading the wrong blogs or misunderstanding the tone of the blogs you’re reading.
People (that I follow at least) want him to disappear because he’s had a frenetic three years. Between Fine Line, HSLOT1, DWD, My Policeman, Harry’s House, ONO, HSLOT2, he’s been going at it nonstop. I think people are very protective of him pacing his work because many of us remember how worked to the bone 1D was when they were active, and though we know the situation is different, it doesn’t mean we can’t express vocal support for him taking the time to rest and also recharge creatively.
I’ve not seen anyone on my dash relate it at all to that anon (which IMO was really just an inquisitive theory with no real teeth to back it up). (Also, if you’re getting the drama from Twitter… um… don’t.)
As for why people keep saying they’ll miss him, well, it’s because we will. It’s nice to know when you’re seeing an artist you’re a fan of next. It’s nice to have new music or a new project to look forward to. It’s not anything more than the fact that we got used to seeing him, and now we have to get used to the idea of not knowing when he’ll pop up next. 🤷🏻♀️
Maybe there’s a bit of apprehension because we haven’t heard anything tangible about a re-signing to Columbia, and we know he had a three album deal, so Harry’s House is technically the last album we’re guaranteed, but I personally think that’s by design. It keeps us on our toes, it keeps us wondering, it makes the announcement all the more anticipated and delicious when it comes, and it also alleviates the pressure on him to create/work on break.
It’s really not anything dramatic, at least not for me.

It would be one thing If the rest of the story with the salad dressing wasn’t unhinged/horrible/ tragic for the kids, etc.
But don’t say the nanny made up the story and then post the salad dressing… like she’s giving the story she denied earlier credibility.
Again- it paints her as a horrible mother and partner/ employer, Jason as a controlling unstable drunk. Why would you post anything besides denying it.
I think she’s done this before, trying to be “in” on the joke rather than be the butt of it.
She’s mentioned her “fivehead”, sang along to “leave America” in full view of fans during AIW when many have said they relate it to Harry leaving her (I know that’s actually not the purpose of it, but it was a joke on Twitter and here on tumblr), she’s addressed people calling her a bad mother multiple times, she stopped her “backbend” dance moves after she got mocked mercilessly over it. And those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head.
There’s a pattern of her trying to get ahead of the joke or laugh along with it but it’s always too late, too tone deaf, too try hard. If she actually wasn’t on the internet as much as she says she isn’t, she wouldn’t have posted that. I’m sure in her mind, just like when she called Harry’s fans mosquitoes or doubled down on pushing DWD as a vehicle for female pleasure until she just couldn’t anymore (because the movie was out and people knew once and for all she was lying about that too), she thinks this is a big “fuck you” to anyone mocking her. She thinks she’s being clever.
I don’t know Olivia Wilde but I’ve known plenty of people like her and I guarantee she doesn’t see this as hurtful to her children, Harry or Jason’s reputation, or even completely inappropriate given the serious claims made by her ex-nanny. She thinks this gives her the last word. And I’m sure she’ll get multiple headlines out of it, which is a win for her. Very lovely for Harry, isn’t it?
But again, she doesn’t give a fuck.

Sometimes I wonder why fans treat T so different compared to how O was treated😭 like I wasn’t a fan back then but I still wonder why
rjerktjekrjtke I feel like this is suuuuuuuch a hot topic hahahaha im scared to voice thoughts bc I don't want to start wild conversations or anything but with O I think there was a lot more drama?? like everything seemed very sketchy esp in connection to dwd and o's marriage and kids. this is just my opinion but I also think florence not wanting to be involved w harry or o was a huge red flag too :/ i think the entire relationship was just very 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩 on both sides, not just o
and tbh taylor just seems like a very sweet human, they keep things more lowkey (which feels less 🚩 but that's just my thought!), and they rly truly seem happy together! as long as they're happy and healthy, that's all that matters at the end of the day!

Hi Sabine- hope you are having a good day. I have a question about PR relationships. I’ve never really been a fully committed fan of anyone before I discovered 1D and Louis and Harry (except maybe in the early 90’s but that was pre-social media so different parameters) so I’ve never paid close enough attention to one person to follow along with them outside of regular mainstream news, and I gave up reading gossip mags about 20yrs ago when I realised they were mostly bullshit.
I’ll preface this with saying that I absolutely don’t believe Harry is in a relationship with Olivia. My question is surrounding the purpose of some of the ‘sightings’. I get the pap walks and the attendance at high media profile events like Coachella etc. as these make their way into the GP’s realm and assist with PR for both of them (and reinforce Harry’s closet) . I don’t understand the objective behind the side stage/ backstage presence and other more obscure sightings such as these? This seems like something only fans would pay attention to (sometimes the photos only come from fans in the crowd) and I don’t believe the PR is there to convince fans of anything as I don’t think either side of this fandom supports her.
Is this extra ‘togetherness’ outside of the organised for Media outlets pap stuff a normal aspect of a PR relationship? Usually I’m quite good as seeing the rationale behind general things we are shown in different aspects of the media etc. but I don’t see what purpose this serves- am I just being thick?

I think Holivia has huge issues with credibility and image. In the general public they’re far from the iconic Bennifer-fication. They are called a “strange couple” and depending on the POV people wonder why Harry is with her or the other way around.
It must be a great disappointment that even Harry's het fanbase doesn't buy into it and rejects Olivia. I think younger fans can’t identify with her because she’s so much older and Harry’s fans closer to her age are furious about her behavior while dragging her kids into it all and making a show of custody battles like it’s some trashy reality tv. (It’s not helping either that she’s got a long history of treating people poorly.) This all manifests itself in very weak Holivia UAs with like 8k followers at best, of which many only lurk to rant over what they see if we’re being honest.
My impression is that Full Stop planned to market Holivia as this woke ageism-breaking ‘newly single mum succeeding in Hollywood in a male dominated field proving 40 with kids is not the end for romance or beauty or indefinite freedom’ dating this ‘gender bending rockstar aspiring actor who sells nail polish and wears dresses and waves his ally-LGBTQ flags every night but is so so very straight and therefore an icon who ends toxic masculinity’ where brand endorsement deals can be used in double with access to two different target groups/demographics. Harry and Olivia both wear éliou pearl necklaces, Bode, Gucci, Vans, Pleasing, Harry merch. Even better when one wears what seemingly belongs to the other. So outrageous. 🙄
But what happened instead is that people only saw an odd couple with zero chemistry that got together under questionable circumstances (they were still filming DWD due to the delay from closing the set) with Harry as Olivia's subordinate, when she had JUST separated (or had she?), and Harry had only been booked for his second role… And all of it in the wake of Times Up and Me Too as if THIS were the New Hollywood... To me it was the dirtiest kick off for a Pro-mance I could have ever imagined. I hate that Harry is involved in this shit.
Maybe many don’t see it like I do, but to me who takes great pride in feminist values and has worked hard in my profession to overcome the “cute and pretty label” to be taken seriously and now being a team lead in a male dominated field myself, it triggers me to no end. A female in a position of power should never abuse it and call it feminist. Olivia Wilde doesn't bring change when she stands for the same toxic values and creates unsafe work environments that have existed all along.
Why am I pointing it out? Because that part, the beginning of it all is something they still try to make up for. The longer this lasts, the less it looks like a reckless work hook up and more like a super serious love story that needed to happen under any circumstances.
Coming back to your actual question and taking into account what I said above - Olivia hasn’t been offered any deals at all so far.
I'm not aware Olivia is in talks for any scripts to be directed by her. The documentary she planned to do was cancelled? It looks like promoting DWD is the only thing left on her agenda. She has a lot of time on her hands and she attempts to use it.
Their ‘organic sightings’ are being used for articles is the thing. Those fan pics of Harry bathing in Dublin were all over the tabloids. Random ‘Olivia at Coachella’ fan videos were used as well. Harry meeting a fan in South England made it into the press. Harry playing golf didn’t.
So pics from the back of Harry unenthusiastically holding Olivia’s hand in Dublin didn’t end up in the tabloids. So Harry kicked it up a notch and went for a swim in Dublin instead. LOL. I really believe that’s the part that’s unpredictable for their teams. They “offer” Holivia content here and there, walking and walking and walking, but what will be newsworthy is up to the tabloids. It’s an unreliable yet very cheap way of creating buzz and promotion. And Olivia looooves the attention and I’m sure she gets off on the idea that people envy her that she gets to be so close to Harry...

Hi Gina. Hope you’re doing well. I just came back from the documentary and I think I’m alone in that I pretty much HATED it and I feel absolutely horrible for feeling that way. Yes, the first 1/4 was very emotional about 1D, Louis losing his mom and Fizzy, feeling lost. I really felt for him but for me I soon became very annoyed with how repetitive the narrative became. I have to say I think Charlie Lightening did an absolute disservice in getting Louis’ story across. There were the funny bits from fans and Louis but a great deal of the concert footage was of Louis’ back, which I get was to show the audience but for me it just didn’t work. I don’t feel he show cased how talented Louis is. And it just felt so contrived with the beach and lad scenes. The person I was with started laughing and whispered “who plays an electric guitar on the beach”? As for the kid, I did not feel any real connection between him and Lou. Something was off. Those did not feel like genuine parent child interactions and Louis seemed way over the top with him. Those were minor points for me though because I already had a hard time trying to get my head around where Charlie was trying to take us. Gina, I have to tell you I went with an anti and she came out saying what’s with all that fake sunset shit and said to me “I don’t know who that child is to him but that’s not his son” 😂😂😂 Anyways, to sum things up the anti I went with asked me would I rather see the documentary again or DWD which she knows I hated… and without missing a beat I said I’d rather see DWD over the doc. I love love documentaries but this just seemed like a PR implosion. I’m feeling so sad because I really was looking forward to it, even with all the bbg stuff and I appear to be the only one in the fandom who thinks Charlie Lightening missed the mark.
I’m so sorry you didn’t like the film. I’m sure you’re not the only one, but most people are afraid to voice unpopular opinions around here.
I think the bottom line is that Charlie was given a narrative to follow and that’s what we’re getting.

Hi! Fairly new larrie here. Can I ask why you don’t like Olivia Wilde? It makes sense for the relationship to be for publicity, in which case I assume they are both getting what they want out of the deal? I was wondering if I missed something
Oh boy, you must be really, really new here.
For starters, it's hard to like someone who is actively helping closet a person, you know?
I think this stunt was a hard blow to a lot of us. When DWD was announced, everybody was thrilled, I was over the moon, Harry was going to act again, this time in a thriller directed by a woman with an incredible cast, so people were happy. Then came the news that Olivia and Jason had split up (and I even remember seeing people joking that they'd put Harry and Olivia together after that) and yet, even after so many signs (that so many of us failed to notice) that this stunt was happening, it still caught us by by surprise. And thus started the worst stunt Harry has ever been a part of.
People were angry and disappointed the minute the first pics of them came out. It was a pandemic and they were in a wedding, she's older than him, she was in a position of power over him, it looked like he did an under the table deal for the role (Harry hadn't been in any film other than Dunkirk back then), not to mention Harry had been moving further and further away from his het and womanizer image, especially with the Vogue cover where he was in a dress and also with the TPWK mv. So, yeah, no one was happy with it.
And since the beginning nobody believed in this "relationship", not even his het fans (with exceptions, of course, but still). Their teams tried to sell this stunt with pap walk after pap walk, and when people started calling out how fake it looked (and also because it was in the middle of a pandemic) they toned down with those, and the ~~organic sightings~~ started. And a pattern also begun. Fans would say Harry and Olivia were always far from each other, then there would be a new set of pics where Harry had his arms around her, or that Harry looked miserable with her, and in the next pic he was smiling (looking miserable still), and so on. And this was happening all the time! If Harry having a beard wasn't annoying enough, they were throwing this stunt down our throats all the fucking time, and almost two years later (!!!) we are still having to deal with this, they won’t let us take a breath. She's in almost every show he has, in between the shows now it's almost certain we are gonna get ~~blurry~~ pictures of them walking around on the most public places they can find (but HEY, they are a private couple, please respect that). And let's not forget that Harry knows how to go MIA.
And all this is happening because of DWD. It's promo. Olivia made a huge deal with Warner (can't find the post right now, sorry) and she's doing everything she can to promote this movie - except for believing in her own talent and ability as a professional director. She has been relying on Harry’s womanizer image and on his fans by making them believe they get to watch him having sex and going down on a woman in theaters. That's literally how she has been selling this movie. You can see by the way the other actors don't talk or post much about it. Because Olivia made it all about her and Harry. And I get it. I too would be upset if something I worked hard on was reduced to that. Even Florence is speaking out about it now (the Harry x Olivia x Florence dynamic is a whole other thing that just goes to show how bad this whole thing has been).
And there's also the whole fiasco between Olivia and Jason dragging their kids into this already messy mess. And also the fact that Olivia is a bad person in general (should've answered with just that instead of making a huge ass post about it lol), calling herself a feminist, but doing the exact opposite of what a feminist does, claiming to be an ally which LOL she's literally helping closet Harry, and she also compared her directional debut as her coming out of the closet, etc, etc... She wants to sell an image of her being cool, a mom almost in her 40s that doesn't let that define her, after all she’s dating a rock star!! She’s having fun! Fuck society for saying older women can’t have that!! And well, I’m all for that… but the truth is that it just comes across as embarrassing and desperate.
So yeah, I guess this sums up a little bit. Of course Harry is not free of charges here (this is an interesting post about it), even though we can't know why he agreed to this whole thing, we have to accept that he did agree to be a part of it somehow. All I know is that Harry's goals are very different then hers (and he has proven to be a good person over and over again). This is going to be just another stunt in Harry's pocket but for Olivia... I'm not saying she's going to be unsuccessful, but she needs this movie to do well, which even though the whole story and script looks messy and all bad in general, the movie still might be a comercial success, and that is her goal at the end of the day. But she won't always have Harry to carry her name around. And as far as I'm aware, she hasn't done anything since DWD and doesn't even have any other project on her near future. Right now, she only has DWD to promote and the way she finds to promote is.... by going to another concert. LOL. She's literally only relying on Harry.
What a wasted opportunity, huh? She had all the elements to have a huge successful movie and yet... She chose the easy way out. Using a big name like Harry to get attention to the movie, making sure to link herself to that big name and making everything about her... But I guess that's what being greedy and self-centered does to you.

I can never be normal when it comes to Launchpad, dude. Like he is literally just a living, giant teddy-bear and I just wanna hug him and SQUEEZE HIM LIKE A STRESS-BALL
But we all know that isn’t possible because this guy is freaking huge.
Anyways, LP is an S-tier character. I really can’t say anything bad about him, other than that he’s downplayed a lot by the fans. I didn’t wanna say it, but it’s true. To be honest, Launchpad has to be one of the most intellectual characters, mentally and emotionally. He understands the kids better than most, and has helped them in his own ways that helped them change for the better (Huey, Dewey, Gosalyn).
Oh, and we can’t forget how much SASS this guy had in Darkwing Duck. I know, LP’s portrayed as “no thoughts, head empty” but he was a whole different entity in DWD. 💀

I think that the whole concept of het Harry StylesTM is so wrong and it´s becoming slowly obvious that he´s not that boyfriend who´s about to protect and defend his fake gfs because instead he´s actually the one who needs protection and craves for it IMO. The way he always lays on one´s shoulder when someone who´s close to him is hugging him - f.e. Pauli (at the end of EU LOT after they did their dance), Kid Harpoon (after H won AOTY), Gemma (when he won one of his Brits) or the way he threw himself on Stanley Tucci also on Brits. He just doesn´t have that vibe and when we connect it with his feminine part of him (which he is very well aware of and he´s learning how to embrace it)...it´s just against nature if you understand me what I´m trying to say, it´s like to wanting introvert to have fun at some big party while introvert loves being alone or just in the small group of known people. The only ladies he´s protective are his mum, sister and other women in his family we are not very well aware of. On the other hand Louis definitely has this protective vibe (no suprise when he´s the oldest brother to his younger sisters) and that´s why they go together so perfectly - because they fits their needs. Btw few weeks ago I was watching DWD again just for fun and nope, seeing him acting like he´s heterosexual horny husband ready to please his wife with oral s*x had weird vibe for me when I compare it to his gay role in MP. I will repeat this opinion but how can het harries be so blind not seeing he´s the one who wants protection and to be taken by gentle care because he´s the soft one. People who know him treats him like that and so is Louis - that perfect protective boyfriend who will fight for his girl Harry.

This ask is a minefield (not your fault), but here we go. I disagree with most of your takes here, but that's okay. If that's how you see it, then that's how you see it. We simply disagree.
However i think we have to differentiate between who harry is in private and who harry tm is. A lot of his behaviour is tied to his image. I think harry is very different in private, with people he know and love, than when he's in a public setting. Harry uses jokes, physical comedy and exaggertion in public. It's a performance. Like the whole Stanley Tucci thing was. Mocking fan behaviour and playing damsel in distress. I don't think that's very reflective of how he acts at home. I also thinks he's not very protective of his beards simply because he don't like them and know them enough to be.
I think Harry can be just as protective as Louis to the ones he cares about, he just shows it in different ways than Louis. I don't think Harry craves protection, he's a big boy and can handle himself. He's assertive when needs be and says no when he means no. But he's shy at times in unfamiliar settings and an introvert as you say. Louis is tactile, but so is Harry. But unlike Louis, Harry is only tactile with the ones he knows. I don't think harry is particularly soft either. Yes, he's feminine, but he has an explosive anger and can pin a guy to a wall when provoked no problem (poor Liam). Harry is mulitdimentional and i hate when he's reduced to either this or that. He can be both and he can be more. And he is. Same with Louis.
I've said this before, but i don't think harry can act. At all. So that might be the reason that his acting in dwd felt weird to you. In mp he didn’t really act as much as just being himself (as grandage put it). Good actors usually don't have any issues with playing straight/gay or good/evil no matter what they identify as or who they are like as a person. It's acting. Also, you were watching DWD for fun? Why? Ironically?
I also take issue with this fandoms obsession with making h and l emulate stereotypical heterosexual relationships. Gay couples usually don't. They don’t require that one partner is "masculine" and the other "feminine" or one being "soft" and the other one "hard". In most couples, both partners have a mixture of gender traits. I think h and l are a mixture. So i don't think one has to be protective and one has to be craving protection. Or one has to be a prince and the other one a princess. Neither of them are the one or the other. They are both a bit of both. They are each others babies and each others rocks.
