ok this is gonna be silly but a while back i did these little doodles of how i imagined the fashion would look in different cities of Erilea and uhhh yeah here's that

not fully colored bc i dont have that kind of time, but. sorry i love the luxe couture fits too much to not do them an absolute injustice

at least santiago’s makeup is fire in this sketch

Gothmog, Thuringwethil, and bonus Tevildo

i was digging around in my files and rediscovered some really old silm art of mine, including my original angband trio designs (mostly traced off heroforge models lol):

and they're actually pretty cool! thuringwethil's tail is maybe a little questionable of a design choice (how are you supposed to fly with a giant tail flopping around...) but it looks really good on gothmog.

i don't really remember what i was doing with sauron (he looks a little like early curufin for unknown reasons) and idk what the wrist things are supposed to be, but Original Flavor Thuringwethil was actually a corrupted maia of manwe (eonwe's sister?), hence the feathers instead of traditional bat wings. for Original Gothmog i am less sure about his origins but he is possibly a corrupted maia of ulmo (originally a sea serpent, hence the tail and ulmo style ear-fins) who basically dried up into a more stone-based serpent

anyways i think I might keep thuringwethil's face/wing design and gothmogs full design for future use

Aren't Draluc's suits like, canonically custom-tailored? Why tf does he wear sleeve garters when he's not cooking?

Idea that has been rotating in my brain since seeing "Frightmares on Main St.":

Ollie is getting bullied at school for believing in ghosts and Scratch is having none of it. I'm thinking his reaction would be similar to the one he had to Tammy making fun of Molly in "The (Un)natural". Like "I'm the only one allowed to make fun of Ollie Chen". Cue Scratch scaring the bejeebies out of the kids.

“Invitation,” you and Uncle say at the same time. Uncle waves for you to explain, so you do, “Well—it’s just a theory, but most wards can keep people out unless they’re invited in. Think… those European vampires, who can’t enter someone’s house without being permitted to.”

You idly pet one of Sandy’s cats, saying, “Given how no one’s seen Flower Fruit in all these years, it can be safely assumed Great Sage simply warded the place off and only those with invitation can get in. Either that or really powerful magic—probably god levels.”
