TS4 Rebels Site Update (Free patreon/paywall content)
It’s come to my attention that some people believe that TS4 Rebels has been shut down. This is not the truth. A few weeks ago the patreon/paywall leachers reported the TS4 Rebels subreddit, resulting in a DMCA ban. Due to this, the creators resulted in utilizing an inefficient update method via twitter. Because twitter became so annoying to update through, the creators decided to retire the google forms method of posting content. Instead, they archived the sheets, and decided to post the new content via their new website. You may still utilize the original link on my post here. Now, you may access both files through their new website coined ts4rebels.cc
As for my opinion on the matter: I feel this is a more secure way for the owners to post content, making it more beneficial to us as a community.
And on a final note, I have no affiliation with TS4 Rebels, or any custom content site; I simply find it useful especially when creators don’t abide by EA’s terms of service in the first place.

Alternatives To DownWithPatreon 2023
Okay, as you can see I deleted the old pinned post cause I felt like maybe it needed some updating. Some stuff will be the same but some stuff has changed.

If you were trying to find the old sims 4 planet, but couldn't it's cause they updated their site it seems.

Yes, I know you guys hate this site but it's a pretty decent site for finding newly released content. I believe they stopped taking paywalled content and only post whats free or been released so yay no more paywalls!? I don't know about anything else, however, it's neatly organized and easy to navigate and find
content on.

The O.G, unfortunately they're no longer updating but so now they are archive and I belive all of DWP's items are there as well. So you can find some old gems there if that's what you're looking for.

This site is awesome, has sims 4 and 3 content available, old and new. You can sign in with your google or whatever account you have. So far it's very safe and I haven't had any problems with the site.
Alright well that's it for now, hopefully in the near future we will have more sites and places like this who help share content and fight against these wack ass paywalls. So if you have any other alternative sites similar to DWP or blogs that I don't know about, feel free to shoot me a message and I will add to the list. Happy cc finding/shopping! =)

TRACKING AND DOXXING IN THE SIMS
Over the last few days I’ve seen a lot of posts from all sides of the equation in the sims community on this whole doxxing and tracking issue…
All I can think of to say is this:
To those that have been tracked and doxxed, I’m sorry you’ve had to go through that. It really is not nice to effectively be stalked and harassed… I’ve gone through it in the real world and it’s affected me deeply and I now have serious trust issues as a result. The sims has been a nice escape for me for so many reasons and it really saddens me to think people have been bullied and stalked over a game! Yes a GAME for heavens sake!!!
Those who ARE doxxing and tracking people who buy their content please stop. It’s not clever, it’s not classy and it makes you look like a dick and besides it’s illegal not to mention immoral.
To content creators, if you create something and put it out into the world you need to accept there will always be people out there that will share your content if you stick a price tag on it and sell it for money. Even creators who share their content with early access have had their creations shared before it’s been publicly released. The only way to avoid it is to either not share your creations at all or share them for free. Either way put your big girl/boy pants on and suck it up and realise no matter what it’s going to be shared, pirated or someone will claim it as their own, it’s inevitable! Now if you’re using someone else’s 3D mesh, own up and tell people and give that person credit, because let’s face it ALL creators, especially sims creators want and in some cases demand they are credited for what they put out, so why is it different for the original 3D mesh artist? Also if you are going to use meshes from cgtrader or wherever or whoever you have gotten it from its pretty cheeky, not to mention shady to charge people money for it. Even if you have spent time perfecting it for the sims and giving it all the wonderful recolours and whatnots before you share the final item/items. On the other hand if you have made a piece of content entirely from scratch, meshed it, textured it and done all the other wizardry to it then I personally think you are entitled to charge people for it. However, be prepared that people WILL share it behind your back. Suck it up! Tracking and doxxing is not the answer.
To the sims community downloading content, whether it’s free, early access or ‘paywalled’. Stop with the sense of entitlement! If you want the content a creator makes download it, if you don’t like the content or the creator for whatever reason don’t download it. Regardless of whether it’s free or paid content you do not have the right to demand anything or bully a creator. If you feel you shouldn’t have to pay for content, then don’t buy them, but don’t go slating the creator publicly and then downloading it from sites like ‘downwithpatreon’ and flash your game screenshots with all their content… it makes you a hypocrite! On the flip side if you can’t afford a creator’s content, but you like what they do I know it’s not an ideal situation and I really don’t know what to suggest. EA has not helped the situation by contradicting itself by saying creators have to give early access for paid content, but then also said if they create their own meshes they are entitled to hide it behind a paywall. The ideal situation would be for EA to finally make a full and clear decision on the matter regardless of whether all content made for the sims will have to be free or paid early access regardless if the content is part EA mesh or created entirely from scratch by modders. Until then we are ALL stuck with this mess! We need to live with it!
Personally if I like a piece of content regardless if it’s paid or free I will download it and I will not be told by anyone what I can and can’t do with my own money and who I should and shouldn’t support in the sims community! We are not a dictatorship! I will make up my own mind thank you very much! Which leads me on to my final view point…
What has really shocked and sickened me is how the sims community has dealt with it over the last few days. All the rallying with pitch forks, self righteous indignation and the pearl clutching!! Not to mention the naming and shaming and bullying that has gone on from ALL sides, it’s disgusting! I’ve lost a lot of respect for some people I’ve always liked because of how hard they are pushing for people to be outraged. It’s out there now, we all know what’s happened and been going on. Harping on about it and pretty much demanding contrition is not helping! Neither is dragging every single creator that charges or has charged for their content in and demanding they prove their innocence. This is social media, not a court of law!
I’m sorry but neither side has come out smelling of roses and pretty much everyone should be hanging their heads in shame! I get that this needed to be brought out into the open, but certain sectors are behaving just as badly as the people they are accusing of doxxing and tracking! This is not Salem and we are not at the witch trials, but it bloody feels like it!
Seriously everyone needs to grow up and stop being such arseholes! The Sims is a GAME!!! End of story and please remember that some creators and players are actually living in a real war zone and don’t know if they’re going to wake up tomorrow! The sims might currently be their only outlet and release from what they are going through. There are more serious things to worry about than fucking sims content whether it’s free, early access or paywalled! GET OVER IT!!!
And for heavens sake show a bit of compassion and in the words of Elsa, LET IT THE ‘FUCK’ GO!

I’m sorry but I don’t feel bad for the greedy ass creators who locked their custom content behind a permanent paywall. They not only broke the rules for years now but also doxxed people. That’s why I don’t feel bad about the alternative site like downwithpatreon. They can get a real job like the rest of us.

For anyone releasing paywalled content for free from greedy creators with “exclusive” (aka locked until you pay) content…
Be careful! Please, because paywallers literally bullied the DownWithPatreon site owner so bad and continuously got the DWP site shut down to the point where the website owner got fed up and shut it down herself and hasn’t been back since.
I just don’t want anyone doing what needs to be done getting bullied and threatened for doing what needs to be done.
Other than that… whoever you are unlocking “locked until you pay” content…
Side note: Exclusive and early access are TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. I am specifically talking about certain content that is locked up and it cannot be accessed at all unless you pay. Early access content is temporarily locked content for a certain amount of time.

I’d like to dedicate this post to those of you who are straddling the fence right now........
What do I mean? I mean those of you who say that they are early access but don’t remotely let their content out from behind paywalls, much less on time. They say on their patreon “Oh, I’m early access! This will be released in 3 weeks!” 3 weeks come, 3 weeks go, nothing’s released. People are still waiting and waiting, and waiting for content to come out from behind the paywall.
Let’s also not forget all of the people who release 70% of their content under early access, but instead of making patreon exclusives things such as how-to videos, polls, or other methods of interacting with the creator, they make “exclusive” CC for their patreons that you only get if you pay the paywall fee. (Which STILL violates EA’s rule. ALL CC you make has to go into early access and THEN be released, OR just be released for free.)
Here’s the deal, I am not against early access at all. I think it is a wonderful way to show CC creators we care. But part of the problem is when you SAY you are giving people early access, and then keep stuff locked behind paywalls, not only are you legally breaking rules, but you are EHTICALLY ruining your reputation. How are your patreons going to expect you to keep your word to them when you cannot even keep your word to the community?
Look, if you’re gonna be a tool and hide content behind paywalls, at least have the guts to admit it versus trying to claim you’re in line with EA’s TOU. I’d almost think that some people are doing this to try to deter pirates from stealing their stuff, but to be honest, it’s really **not hard to do the math** and check your tumblrs/patreons/sites to see if you have kept your end of the bargain. Most pirates don’t like to share content from donation/early access creators, but if you’re not following their part of the ethical bargain with EA, well, I highly doubt the pirates are going to give you a pass and not distribute your content.
Now, if there’s a legit reason (ex: computer died, family emergency) that your content isn’t uploaded/shared on time, that’s fine as long as it’s communicated about to your patreons/followers. But some people it’s been over a month or two since stuff was posted, and that’s getting a little bit too long.

Looks like a normal early access blog right? Not too bad....until we reach this...
Now here we have a custom skin that this patreon still has LOCKED behind a paywall. Notice when it was posted? NOV 25th of LAST YEAR. It is now the 19th of January, well past the time for the skin to be released to the public. And there have been OTHER skins made since then, all still locked behind paywalls.
Now, giving this creator the benefit of the doubt, I then checked their tumblr to see if perhaps they posted the skin for free on their tumblr:
No dice there.
You see the problem here?
If you are spending money on patreon to support sims 4 creators, PLEASE do the community a solid and don’t support people who act this way. Support people who actually care about the community, care about copyright, and care about respecting the TOU of others, and the game creators. Then you click on their name and their patreon posts will show up and you can download the exclusive CC. You can even request patreon creators who are not on the site yet. Remember, putting CC behind a paywall is illegal! I think we all understand wanting to make a little bit of coin off your work, but patreon exclusives are not it.

That link no longer works sadly! The closest thing I can find to unlock sims 3 patreon cc is this. This is a huge site that contains a bunch of patreon creators work!
For a fair warning, a lot of this stuff is really NSFW! You have to navigate to the left to search for "Artist" which serve as patreon creators. Sadly, not every creator has been updated/uploaded, but thats what we have to work with!
If anyone has an alternative site or method, please DM me!

Enough is ENOUGH!
I can’t stand seeing Patreon “creators” not abiding to rules anymore, pretending they have forgotten to release their content to the public . Want to decide for your own content? Well, cool, just make it FREE after 3 weeks/1 months at least. People already pay TOO MUCH for a shitty game without cc/mods, now you tell me I have to pay for your content too? No thank you, you are out of the world. Only stupids will waste their money on your virtual products. Cool, you are a skilled creator, you are a nice person in real life, but, please, don’t tell me I am wrong just because I’m telling what everyone is thinking (of course everyone who can use their brains). So, that said, I hope “Down with Patreon” and his “brother site” will be able to re-open and be active as in the past. Don’t like that? Not a problem of mine, I’m sorry, goodbye. 👋🏼🤷🏻♂️
