My drawing tablet finally came in! It’s my first time ever using it, and I’m currently still in the process of getting used to it. Using Rook Blonko as a reference cause it work well for me. If I deem the sketch work good, I shall post. If anyone has any tips for getting used to a drawing tablet that would be really good. It’s the ones that don’t have the screen cause they were cheaper and the one I found came in red.

Hey y’all! So after years of saving I just got a PC that I needed for uni but it’s also the first device I have that can run Detroit: Become Human (yes, I’ve never played it myself before, and yes, I’ve been here for over a year. lol). However - I quickly ran into an issue that kept crashing my game, and after several hours of trying various things to fix it I finally found a solution that works (and I’m mad it took me so long bc tbh it should’ve been the first thing I tried). So I’m making this post in case it helps someone else who runs into this issue, because all the stuff you look up online to help has instructions for NVIDIA graphics but I have AMD. So here you go:
If your game crashes and you see a “VK_ERROR_DEVICE_LOST” error message for your graphics driver, and you have an AMD driver, here’s what you do:
1. Go to the AMD official website
Search "AMD drivers" in your browser and click the option that says "AMD drivers and support".
2. Go through the selections and find *your specific driver
For example: mine is an AMD Radeon RX 6600 (not XT) so I would select AMD Radeon RX 6000 series -> AMD Radeon RX 6600 series -> AMD Radeon RX 6600
*If you don't know your specific driver and you're on Windows, go into your desktop search bar and type "device manager", open it and then double click on "Display Adapters" - the option that shows up below is your exact graphics driver.
3. Then click "submit", then select your version of windows (I'm still on Windows 10 bc W11 sucks, so I select "Windows 10 - 64-Bit Edition"), then select "Download+" on the most recent version (the top most version).
4. Run it, let it make changes to your device, it'll auto restart your computer, then auto install/restart again, then boom it's fixed.
I hope this helps someone who doesn't use NVIDIA!

hi <3 saw your tags re: you not having spotify, so here is the youtube link of the behind the grid podcast with pierre:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmgGYmIAwng
i'd definitely recommend it for when you have an hour to listen to it, its really interesting and the way pierre is talking is very mature and articulate imo :)
hiiiya anon! i meant to reply to this right after you sent it, but in a shocking turn of events, got distracted, LOL - however, i've just spent an absolutely delightful hour listening to this while doing the dishes. i've never taken longer to do the dishes, lmao, but it was such a good listen!! i agree completely that pierre was very mature and articulate throughout, and i just loved all the insights into the way he thinks and sees things. FASCINATING!!! also his emotional intelligence >>>
honestly, i was sitting here listening to the whole thing like "i am so happy to say that he's one of my favourite drivers because he is wonderful." this was SUCH a good podcast, really it was, and i may be almost a week late in catching up to it, lol, but i appreciated the experience so very much! thank you SO SO much for taking the time to reach out with the youtube link for me, anon - that was so very kind, and it's brightened up my tuesday evening a whole bunch. appreciate you so much!! <3333
