There’s something to be said about the fact that Jimmy and Tango’s horns play Sing, which is supposed to be a response to a different horn (Ponder, to be specific). I have about three brain cells but I definitely know there’s something special about the fact that they can respond to other people all they like, no one’s taken their horns away, it’s when they try to initiate a call that no one answers back.

I've come to a conclusion

 But the fact that Pearl literally freezes to get Scott and how Scott makes Cleo hit him with an axe to get pearl the only way they can harm the other is if they harm themselves

and thats so fucked up when you take into account the fact that Pearl and Scott are soulmates. The universe picked them to be togeather. And it seems like it would work, right? Pearl and Scott were as close as could be in Last Life, the closest allies who never betrayed each other. ALSO the contrast Pearl and Scott have with Cleo and Martyn? Amazing. Scott and Cleo decided to pair up since Pearl and Martyn didn't come looking for them. And when they all found out about the fact that they're soulmates, Cleo and Martyn decided to fight whilst pearl was abandoned by Scott (and Martyn) Martyn is trying to get back with Cleo and Cleo is really against it considering that Martyn built a heart shaped based right next to Cleos house, but she understands what Martyn is trying to do. She talks to him, she tries to negotiate with him. And it mostly works out. Compare that with how Scott and Pearl refuse to bond and I just
