Just saw an E/riel post saying that SJM likes things that "click" and you know, naming off Feyre and Rhysand being the most powerful, Cassian and Nesta being Lord of Bloodshed and Lady Death. And then they pointed out that Azriel "sees things that no one else does and how Elain is a Seer, so obviously their a good match.

As if her literal mate isn't the one that has an eye that can see most things that others can't. As if Lucien isn't the one that knew that Feyre was fooling them because he could see through her glamor. As if the Lord of Foxes wasn't the one that saw that Elain needed to leave the HoW, after you-know-who had two months to realize it.

Like, if you're going to use similarities between the two, maybe find something that doesn't fit with her Mate has well??

Also, there are far more differences between Elain and Azriel than there are similarities.

-He is a warrior that doesn't seem to mind what he does/she hates fighting and bloodshed and would hate what he does (that even came from Azriel's own thoughts)

-She is soft and gentle and loves the sunlight/he is harsh and thrives in the shadows and darkness

-She does not want a mating bond/he desperately wants a mating bond

-She does not fit in the CoN and the cruelty bothers her/he helps foster that cruelty

Meanwhile, Lucien is right there

-Also dislikes fighting, though he will of necessary, said he never wants to fight in another war again

-Literally the sun if the High Lord of the Day Court, has the power of sunshine

-Though he mate, has left the decision to her and does not pressure her into accepting the bond

-Also does not truly fit into a place of cruelty (the Autumn Court) and has been searching for a new place to belong

no hard feelings personally to whoever I saw but I keep seeing a take that rodya and gregor don't like and are annoyed by eachother and everyone is misreading their relationship when it's actually bullying and it baffles me to be honest

it does make me want to post about rodya and her relationship to gregor more though(Though I'm definitely not a writer and bad at getting my ideas across)(This is not that though this is more just me talking)

i feel like, it's pretty core to rodyas character to understand why she teases gregor (And how this isn't bullying or generally an act of malice)

while rodya is generally a laid back person and playful but kind to the other sinners I do think she still has issues with expressing true closeness or affection... I won't pretend sometimes her comments can come off straight up mean or that she's incapable of being kinda rude thats part of her too

but also I just think friends tease eachother and that's just a normal thing that they do. looking to how gregor and rodya are consistently pointed to and used as the example of sinners bantering/getting along or getting closer.. I can't imagine the moments where gregors a little fed up with her jokes as being what you hone in on as the core of their dynamic.

I understand rodya is a little unpopular and kind of not looked into and thus among thee most mischaracterized of the main cast and easy to get wrong, but I don't think "Gregor and rodya are friends that banter:)" is part of that

id say actual misunderstandings of their character and relationship that I've noticed are that gregor is a super cranky tsundere or that rodya is some overtly horny mommy dom. Both of these things are pretty popular in rodigor art from what I see and i think could be helped with looking more at their individual characters.. but they are friends..They are shown to be the closest on the bus from the very start id say. rodyas started using dear/darling with more of the cast but it started with gregor. I genuinely think hes important to her and vice versa

the stobin bathroom scene is literally sacred to me and the scoops troop dynamic is <3 I complain endlessly about how the soviet storyline was implemented but the character side of things is perfect to me...adding in yet another character is so not fun for me bc they are not adding anything particularly interesting usually just sexual tension with Steve and it's usually undermining the dynamics I do care about..ppl should consider adding Eddie to like . j/ncy s3 scenes instead

like ig there are ways you could add another person if you keep them with erica and dustin (ive done it twice for specific aus that arent published yet) but like not only does it fuck with the stobin dynamic if you have the extra person captured with stobin, but also.... each of them have a door what are you expecting a third person to do?? it makes more sense for if there is a third teen/adult for them to stay and "protect" the kids anyway like you dont need to give them torture trauma too.

its funny bc i really do love the like, actual mall aspects of eddie working at a music store and becoming friends with them/flirting with steve, but i dont need him to then join the scoops troop when the upside down shit comes knocking. i swear people love to use eddie to screw up the stobin dynamic. (another pet peeve is every s3 au where for some reason? robin and eddie are already best friends? and like gang up on steve? like just bc they're queer does not automatically mean they are going to be bffs. its pretty significant to robins character that she also seems to be kind of a loner just like steve.)

and honestly YEAH theres literally three other plotlines going on that you can add characters like eddie or others too? have them get chased and traumatized thru the hospital. have them trying to corral five 14 year olds while they try to capture and then escape a possessed billy hargrove. i think it would be very funny to throw someone in with the jopper group and have them have to fifth wheel jopper and the murray/alexei duos.

hell, make up a hellfire member who has been flayed and that eddie is trying to figure out why theyre acting so weird, and have him follow them to starcourt or st! like some of those people just fucking walked away in the middle of convos during that one scene dfifjgsdigs there are so many fun things people could do to add characters to the group and yall wanna mess with the scoops troop dynamic?

1000% without a doubt, kusuos fav group is niigo... he kins literally all four of them but especially kanade and mafuyu (also kinda kins nene and honami but u wouldnt hear that from him) but his FAVORITE character is mizuki.. i cant explain it, im just right.. his whole profile and all that is extremely niigo heavy, but wxs is actually a close second favorite for him lol.. rui reminds him too much of his brother though so he kinda tries to avoid it but. i honestly think he would take comfort in it after a while. in the same way he takes comfort in mafuyus stories because he relates a lot, but it also kinda makes him feel sick. also ive talked abt this on other posts like the smash bros mains post, but in classic average guy fashion, kusuo mostly picks characters that look like him to like, so he just usually picks pink characters.. so along with mostly caring about niigo, he also really likes and always pulls for specifically mizuki, airi, emu, saki, and luka.. lol.. hes also a thumb player but u did NOT hear that from me..

chiyo has her fav groups RANKED and it goes 1) mmj 2) l/n 3) wxs.. vbs and niigo are tied, she doesnt rlly care that much.. she also likes the virtual singers more than any of the others do, and LOVES rin, len, and meiko.. her kins are minori and honami, and her fav characters are airi and emu.. shes also a huge shipper obviously lmfao..

kokomi likes mmj and vbs.. kins saki, toya, shizuku, an, and mafuyu!! (ik thats a lot but just trust me on this) her favs are shizuku and an.. also, similarly to how kusuo feels about mafuyu, kokomi gets kinda physically ill over mafuyu and toyas characters.. she relates a little too hard to the point where she kinda avoids reading the events for a bit, but comes back to it eventually..

shun LOVES vbs and niigo.. kins tsukasa and ena!! he really wants to say he kins akito and shiho but he just wishes he was cool like them, theyre prob his favorites though.. does try to project himself onto mafuyu in his chuuni way but could not for the life of him get into her character.. he does NOT get her at all..

rifuta loves l/n, close second fav is mmj.. kins minori and rin, also kind of an.. her fav characters are saki and kohane because. pigtails. also loves rin and len. loves shizuku because she reminds her of kokomi.

I want to give a big THANK YOU to everyone who decided to attack me on AF this year, I appreciate and adore every single piece I have gotten 🥹❤️❤️❤️ it's actually really overwhelming (not in a bad way) how much love my silly little designs get no matter how simplistic they are, I'm very grateful for it

I thought I had the energy to participate alot more this year but unfortunately I lost most of it towards the halfway point, I'm gonna try to get my shit together next year and actually surpass my last attack amount bc 16 is just NOT ENOUGH i Know I could do so much more than that haha

Gonna try to prioritize revenges a bit more next time too

but yeah. This year was wonderful and I loved everyone's work 😁 big smile
