3. “I would follow you to the ends of the earth. I would follow you off of them.”
"Oh, bite me," Tim mutters, hands stilling on his keyboard.
"Is that a request?" Kon teases, rolling over and floating Tim’s laptop away so he can lay his head on his lap. "What's wrong?"
Tim gives him a half-hearted glare, then sighs. "Kon," he says. "Do you think I'm evil?"
Kon stills. Frowns. "Not particularly?"
"Are you sure?" Tim presses. "Jason said-"
"Of course it's Jason," Kon cuts him off, rolling his eyes. "It's always Jason. Jason has not successfully done anything noteworthy with his life. Stop taking his input on yours."
Tim snorts. "I keep forgetting your beef with Jason." His hands cup Kon's face. "Alright then. Someone who thinks he has the right to an opinion on my life said that I wasn't. Good. Amongst other things."
"That person's an idiot," Kon says curtly. Tim lets out a surprised snort-laugh. "I'm being serious! Tim. Rob. Look at me."
Kon grabs Tim's face. Tim looks down at him, tiredly amused and curious. Kon schools his own face into one of solemnity. "I would follow you to the ends of the earth. I would follow you off of them. I would know if you weren't good. Do you believe that?"
"You are the most good person I know," Tim muses, fond. He caresses Kon's face lightly.
"That goes to Bart," Kon says, breaking his solemn expression to grin. "You're just flattering me."
"Then you're the prettiest person I know," Tim amends, intent on giving a compliment. "The prettiest boy I know. It's both flattering and the truth."
Kon blushes, then, and Tim, the asshole he is, has the gall to look satisfied. "You blush so pretty too," he continues, lowly, appraisingly. "Have I ever told you that?"
Kon lets Tim tilt his head. "No," he says, feeling impossibly bashful all of a sudden. "I could stand to be told more often."
"I will," Tim promises. His fingers ghost along Kon's jaw, and he presses a careful, gentle kiss to Kon's lips, then moves away and smiles.
"That wasn't the only thing, though," Kon says after a pause, after he's remembered how to breathe and can trust himself to speak.
Tim sighs, but he's not really annoyed, just a bit tired, and frowns. Kon drags him down to kiss the frown off his face.
Tim laughs into the kiss, hands finding their way on their side of Kon's head, and Kon smiles, satisfied. "You're an idiot," Tim says against Kon's lips.
"I thought I was pretty," Kon says, pulling away reluctantly.
"You're both," Tim says, still hovering over Kon. "My pretty idiot."
Kon tangles his hands in Tim's soft, long hair, and pulls him in for another kiss. "You love me," he says, when Tim leaves his lips. Tim stays close, they're still sharing air. He giggles breathlessly, "you so love me. You're like, in love with me."
"Yeah," Tim admits, also breathless, smiling small and stupid. "I'm in love with you." He hits their heads together. "Pretty boy."
"In love enough to tell me what's wrong?" Kon asks.
Tim pecks him on the lips. "Doesn't matter anymore." Then, when Kon frowns, "seriously. It was just something not going the way I wanted it to."
Kon cocks an eyebrow, tugging lightly on Tim’s hair. "This makes up for it?"
"You make up for it," Tim says, then leans down to kiss him again.

Whumptober 2022: Day 28 - It’s just the tip of the iceberg
Prompt: Headache
Summary: When Tim gets a bad headache that makes him bedridden, Kon is there being an attentive boyfriend and makes sure he has everything he needs.
Enjoy! :D
Cautiously opening the bedroom door Kon pokes his head into the room and peers inside. His eyes immediately settle on his boyfriend who is sprawled out on the bed with a blanket covering his body and a flannel covering his forehead. Despite his best efforts Kon must have made a noise because Tim soon looks in his direction, a hand comes up to secure the flannel on his head as he turns to look at him.
Now knowing Tim is awake Kon enters the room fully and comes to stand at the edge of the bed next to Tim’s side, he kneels down so he’s eye level with his boyfriend.
“Hey,” he greets quietly, “how are you feeling?”
Tim sends him a miserable look before closing his eyes. “Not much better.” His hand reaches out and Kon takes it without thinking, he presses a kiss to his knuckles and holds it gently. “It’s still there, definitely not as bad as before but it’s not gone.”
Kon hums thoughtfully. “When did you last take some painkillers?”
He glances at the bedside table to find Tim’s water bottle almost empty and sees that there are no tablets left in the packet. He hears Tim take a deep breath and watches as he slowly shifts on the bed into a new position on his side rather than on his back as he had been.
Tim still hasn’t opened his eyes again and when he speaks its quiet and controlled, like he’s doing everything he could to not rattle his head. “What time is it?” When Kon tells him its four in the afternoon Tim pulls a face. “Uh, about four hours ago then. I took them around mid-day.”
Running his thumb along the skin of the back of Tim’s hands Kon hums, “then you’re due for some.” He lets go of Tim's hand and reaches for the flannel on his forehead to find it’s warm. “Let me grab you some more tablets and I’ll freshen this up for you and fill your bottle. Is there anything else you need while I’m here?”
Opening his eyes Tim blinks owlishly at him and shakes his head just slightly, the movement almost isn’t there but because he’s looking for it Kon sees it. Standing up Kon sends him a small smile and bends down to press a kiss to Tim’s forehead. Before Tim could react Kon is already leaving the room with the items in hand.
As he fills the water bottle and runs the flannel underneath cold water, he wonders what more he could do to try and help ease Tim’s headache. He hadn’t been in when Tim returned home after only being gone for a couple hours. When he came home and found Tim curled up in bed underneath a blanket in an endarked room Kon knew immediately what was going on. It happens occasionally, Tim would be struck with a bad headache, borderline migraine, and will have to go and lie down for the rest of the day to recover. That usually involves being in a quiet room and sleeping it off after taking some painkillers.
Kon does what he can to help ease Tim of the symptoms because unfortunately he can’t just get rid of it, all he can do is try and make Tim as comfortable as possible so he can quickly sleep it off and wake up feeling better.
Once he’s done his tasks he makes his way back into the bedroom and finds Tim in the same position as before, when he enters Tim is blinking at him watching him as he approaches and Kon smiles. Staying silent until he’s placed the items down on the bedside table, Kon reaches for Tim and gently coaxes him up a little so he can take the tablets easily, once that’s done and after he’s had a few more sips of water Kon helps him settle back down. Without thinking about it Kon starts fussing with the blanket and pillows in making sure his boyfriend is comfortable and covered completely.
Now sitting on the edge of the mattress next to Tim’s hip Kon watches Tim for a moment as he takes a breath and finally settles down, Kon sees his body relax but there’s still a little grimace on his face when he moves, it’s the only sign that the headache is still there and how Tim is waiting for painkillers to kick in. Reaching over to the bedside table Kon grabs the damp flannel and eases it onto Tim’s forehead, not letting go of it until he knows it won’t slip off.
Knowing there’s nothing left for him to do Kon starts getting off the mattress, speaking in a low voice so he doesn’t disturb Tim’s peace. “I’ll be in the living room if you need me.”
Before he could leave he receives a quiet response. “Thank you, Kon. For everything. When I’m better I’ll make it up to you.”
“There's nothing to make up for Tim.” Kon tells him with a shake of his head in amusement. “Just focus on getting some sleep.”
As he makes his way to the door Tim mumbles something else and while he couldn’t make it out he knew what his boyfriend had said. Getting to the door, he steps out of the room and shuts it gently, just before it closes he’s sure to whisper “I love you too” into the room.

hello i absolutely do! i'm going to try to give a good scattering of different fics and hope one of these is new to you/what you're looking for.
for "tim joins the bat family early" these are some of my favorites:
5 Times Tim Spends the Night at Wayne Manor + 1 Time He Comes Home by motleyfam. this fic is inspired by Latchkey by goldkirk and birds fly in every direction by distracted_dragon, and all three are really excellent fics and great entries into this particular tag. all three of these fics are ones i turn to when i want prime hurt/comfort tim pangs with plenty of family fluff and shenanigans.
Brother Wanted by Vamillepudding. i read this one early on in fandom and i still laugh when i think about it. premise is that jason mistakenly answers tim's advert for a brother and ends up with tim paying him to be his brother. it's full of a very precocious and lonely tim trying his hardest to keep jason around, while jason is desperately trying to figure out how to get this kid adopted before he runs out of money. truly a delightful fic.
Like a Hinge, Like a Wing by Ultrageekatlarge. cw for child abuse and peril, so mind the tags but imo this is a work of art. genuinely one of the best paced and well-written fics out there. i suppose it's technically not tim joining the family early but rather an AU where jason never died, so tim never had the chance to replace him; instead he finds himself under the care of a horrible uncle after his parents die, and in desperation, he turns to the only person who can help: batman.
the Surveillance series by smilebackwards. cheating again bc technically this is just an AU where jason didn't die and tim is a civilian, so it's got the flavor of a different joining-the-family dynamic, plus added timkon delightfulness. this is my go-to for highly competent and extremely lonely tim drake content.
as for ghostbat, it's an extremely small tag, but it's got some excellent fics:
Miscommunication by OkayAristotle. pretty sure this is the first fic in the ghostbat tag, and somehow it got them prefect right from the start. the petty banter and ease with which they interact is phenomenal.
break me shake me devastate me by pendulum_north. some great angst with a small helping of comfort! as well as just a good overall look at the more tragic side to ghostbat.
i used to waste my time dreaming of being alive (now i only waste it dreaming of you) by nygmamale. bed-sharing! pining! banter! angst! there's something about how they both go out of their way to spite the other in this fic that really gets me.
The First Warm Thing by Noknowname. absolutely aching ghostbat domesticity and old men being gross and in love.
and i'll throw in a few of my other favorite random DC fics just for the heck of it:
A Meditation on Railroading by eggmacguffin. this remains one of my all-time favorite fics. tim gets stranded and chooses to freight-hop his way back to gotham, and guess who ends up on the same train? "baby wipes jason" is still spoken with reverent and hushed tones in my groupchat regularly.
Stargazer by lemonadegarden. my favorite comfort reread jason fic. jason breaks his leg and gets stuck at the manor while recuperating. honestly it's rare to find a fic that really lets jason feel as young as he is. i think he's 19 in this fic and he feels so very lost and young and hurt in a way that really heals me.
Overcoming Our Antecedents by Batbirdies. jason gets temporarily de-aged, and bruce has feelings about it. one of my cornerstone jason and bruce fics, mostly bc it contextualizes bruce and jason's relationship pre-jason's death in a way a feel many fics don't bother with. it's really really heartwarming.
The Jingle Jangle Morning by audreycritter. robin-era dick goes on a field trip and bruce has emotions. i think about this fic all the time tbh. it really sells bruce as a young, committed, and sweet father who really just wants to make sure dick is okay.
Tap Out by coyote_nebula. jason gets poisoned. oopsie. this whole series is excellent but i love this one for the way it builds up jason as a brother and a son, and the flashbacks to jason's early days after he was adopted by bruce. i truly wish there were more fics about newly adopted jason but what this fic offers scratches that itch for me.
buy back the secrets by sundiscus. in case you haven't heard this is the Timkon Fic of All Time. a 5+1 of times kon saved tim drake that has everything. identity shenanigans! tim and bruce pangs! kon and clark pangs! tim being extremely competent and extremely lonely! kon being extremely lonely and also pretty competent. this is technically a wip so i hope you'll forgive me for reccing it but it's really great and also totally worth it bc fer is absolutely 100% going to deliver and it's just. very good.

god yeah <3 i love it when tim is just so in love with kon i really truly do. i've been playing ooblets lately (if you're unfamiliar it's a very cute lil farming sim with some pokemon vibes) and it's gotten me thinking of kon playing farming games. he and tim have an apartment in the city and kon's over there being really excited about unlocking the sprinkler upgrade for his lil virtual crops or complaining about the differences between video game farming vs actual real life farming, and the entire time tim's just sitting in his armchair with the softest, tenderest little smile on his face. which is the timquivalent of going 😍🥰💖😍💘😍🥰💝😍🥰😍🥰😍😍😍😍💗💗🥰😍💗😍💘💝😻😍🥰😍💗💖😍🥰😍🥰😍🥰💖🥰😍🥰💝😍

slow dancing in the dark by scarletazure - Superbat, complete. Omg, I loved this fic SO MUCH. I remember one of the updates happened when I was driving 10+ hours to my parents for the holidays. It was a nice little treat to read at the end of the day to decompress :) Anyway, Bruce and Clark get temporary amnesia, sleep together, get there memories back, but continue to sleep together as a "Friends with Benefits" thing. These fails when they both catch feelings for each other. Shenanigans ensue.
Sure on this shining night by mediant - Superfam, complete. Kara tries to recreate a Kryptonian dish for one of their holidays. It fails, but she gets some help from Martha, as well as some bonding time with Clark and Kon.
flash in the pan by shipyrds - Superbat, complete. Another fic where the whole "Friends with Benefits" thing fails miserably. Clark and Bruce get caught in there civilian personas making out at a gala. They try to do some damage control by fake dating and then an eventual break-up. Feelings ensue.
everybody says shipyrds - Superbat, complete. Bruce gets kidnapped by some aliens that say he's Superman's soulmate, and they want to use him as leverage to get Superman's help. The whole soulmate thing is news to Bruce. Shenanigans ensue.
Place we were made by loosingletters - Batfam, complete. An interesting take on Omegaverse! Omegas can claim territory, so Bruce (an omega) as Batman claims all of Gotham as his territory. Shenanigans ensue.

bitty batty baby vigilante crew by deargalileo - Batfam, complete. BABY TIM AND STEPH AS VIGILANTES!!!! This causes some minor (major) stress for Batman.
Half in Love by timeturners - Superbat, wip. Another identity porn fic! I'll always read them, you can't stop me!!!
incendiary by pomeloquat - Superbat, complete. Fem Bruce tries to hide her feelings about Clark. This fails. Sexy shenanigans ensue.

i told you something safe by quidhitch - Superbat, complete. Batman and Superman get injured and pinned down in an explosion with Kryptonite. Clark almost dies. He deals with the realization that he almost dies and the emotions that come with it. Bruce helps.

lol might get hate for this but in my opinion in terms of the ranking the SuperBat pairings….
1.) Damijon/Jondami- Yes I’m completely bias but I never felt this strong for such a pairing (regardless either platonic/romantic! ) Such an iconic (chaotic) duo! I’m glad the dynamic of Damian and Jon worked out well and is well loved!
2.) Superbat-I mean they are the OGs and I can get why fans love their dynamic and pair them! I’m more bromance for them but I do look forward to their interactions whenever the two appear together!
3.) Timkon-I’m neutral for them. I like the fanarts if I see them but otherwise I think they seem more aesthetically good together than like actually together. Hey at least Tim has Bernard now and personally Kon deserves better.
Jon + Damian have squashed potential. Their friendship would have done both their characters so much good. Eventually, as they grew Jon would have felt like he’d have to chase after Damian and keep up and Damian would seek and find in Jon when it comes to anything he can’t obtain as a hero.
Out of all the popular ships, this one is particularly rare.
Imagine a world where Jon and Damian did engage in a romantic relationship in later years. I think it would be great queer rep to show two people who knew each other as friends - grappling with the same heroic pressures and coming to terms with the fact that they might not want to be just friends anymore (a common queer experience) I also think that in stories where they are do become Batman and Superman, it’d feel very refreshing to see DC have the courage to portray an iteration of their most popular characters like that.
These characters are both fairly new and not so much engraved into the audience. They both know each other and share chemistry so there wouldn’t be a lot of room for complaint.
Superbat is meh to me. Over the years, It has done a lot regarding DC fandom, it’s a ship that’s become iconic and is popular amongst passive fans which could become quite annoying.
Superbat is realistically, never going to happen. Respectfully, I doubt DC would do anything in all seriousness when it comes to anything romantic between these two.
Especially with the obvious things like how Batman is and how Clark has a wife and kids.
Although, no ship is shipped under the ideation of becoming canon so I give this pair its flowers because honestly, it could be nice in domestic situations or maybe a workplace relationship but I don’t see it being endgame or like anything happening at all in a likable way.
Timkon, I’m very, very bias about how much I dislike Timkon. Most Timkon shippers realistically do not read comics and I know this because I was one at first for a short amount of time and realized how deluded and far off from the truth Timkon actually is.
It’s crazy to me because fandom is so intense about this ship and all for it to be… alright?
A lot of Timkon stuff is boiled down to being one-sided on Tim’s part. It really irks me that Timkon's evidence is like Tim trying to clone Conner while knowing that he has a thing about not being cloned because he’s a clone himself which irks me.
Then him dating his ex-girlfriend is a HUGE red flag to me, especially when their relationship was semi-abusive and built on grief but good thing it didn’t last.
Also, Tim and Conner are NOT as close as people pretend they are. Conner doesn’t know much about Tim beyond him being Robin, they don’t hang out outside of being heroes.
In reality, Conner doesn’t know much about Tim at all and he’s much closer with his other teammates - literally any other YJ teammate other than Tim. Conner's established friendship with Tim caused a lot of really horrible character assassinations on Bart, Cassie, and Conner. It pushed all characters aside in an attempt to emphasize their relationship.
If they were to have a relationship then people acknowledge its toxicity - see toxicity doesn’t take away from shipability but frankly, I think both these characters deserve to be happy.
If they did date, I seriously give them half a year before they break up. I’m happy Tim is with Bernard because he seems much happier than he’s ever been. I’m sorry, reading those comics it felt like Tim was just grieving his friend after having lost a family member and he was spiraling and needing help, that’s not ‘cute’ to me.
Anyway, I notice Timkon shippers use Kon more as an accessory to Tim and melt his character down for that. If they read his comics then they’d know that he is canonically attracted to Bart anyway (I say canonically because of the on-the-nose insinuation which I take as gospel because it’s crazy for a writer to just outright mention Conner might be attracted to Bart.) Which Bart is most of the reason Conner is queer coded like he is now anyway.
Anyway, not saying all Timkon shippers are horrible but I don’t like the shippers or the ship. It’s substanceless for me. If you like it I’m very happy for you. I think all of these ships are iconic and adorable. This is just me being a person with an opinion.

"Kon. Kon, Kon, Kon." The blanket is pulled off Kon rudely, and he snatches it back with his TTK automatically, then registers the voice.
Kon blinks up at Tim groggily. It's three in the morning and Tim's all Red Robin, and looks like pure hell. "Y'look like shit."
"Screw your Kryptonian eyesight," Tim says, huffing. "And I just went through hell." Tim drops on top of Kon. "And I mean that literally." He wiggles a bit, and Kon snorts at the motion, until he's curled up at his side. "Night."
"What?" Kon's more awake now, shoving an already half-asleep Tim. "No, dude, you're not gonna sleep like this. I don't want you in my bed all suited up. It's weird, and you'll hate yourself for it in the morning."
Tim groans, but rolls himself off the other end of the bed. Kon absently catches him with his TTK before he can hit the floor, and shakes him a bit. "Do you want me to undress you?"
Kon can imagine the scrunch of Tim's nose at the suggestion, and grins a bit. Tim stands, and Kon withdraws his TTK. Tim starts shucking his costume and dumping it in a corner, first the gloves and boots, then the bandoliers, and so forth. "You're a shit boyfriend," Tim informs him in the semi-darkness, pulling off his belt and checking it.
Kon hums, shutting his eyes and drifting off again, half an ear out for Tim in case he wants to talk.
Tim doesn't, and worms his way into Kon's side a few minutes later, in a soft shirt that Kon's got an inkling is his. "Cuddle me," he says into Kon's neck. His lips are cold.
"Go cuddle Cassie," Kon grumbles, but shifts so they're intertwined more comfortably.
"Cassie snores when she's this tired." Tim's voice is quiet as he says the next thing, "and, well. You're the only one I wanna wake up next to."
If Kon was more conscious, he'd probably be tomato-red. But as is, in that precarious place between sleep and wakefulness, all he feels is a soft warmth blooming in his chest. "Dork," he says fondly. "G'night, Rob."
"G'night, Kon."

I am a firm KonCass Shipper through and through
even if i have my own personal hcs, i mean i don't mind any of these ships
koncass had a couple of cute issues and they very much feel like young teens trying to date kinda clumsily but i liked that they agreed to just be friends at the end of it T-T also given what cass says about how she's looked at and her relationships with other characters i cant really see her with a guy >_> they are definitely cute tho and glad you have a cute ship to enjoy!
i actually think koncassie are sweet to each other in tt03 but it's like very basic and surface level to me (that's just how johns wrote everyone there though so) and within canon, cassie had something of a celebrity crush for him at first, but there's the issue where cassie looks in the mirror and wishes she was beautiful and wishes kon would stop looking at her as if he only sees her as a sister and nothing more and then they kiss and i was like >_> okay i guess (if we had seen more of this romance from kon's pov i might have bought into it more) and later in tt03 johns writes cassie as if it was a flaw to act so boyish in her youth and while there's nothing wrong with characters growing up and changing it just felt cheap or whateverrr like at least write her realizing she doesn't need to be doing this for a man and only for herself. again, theyre okay to me as a ship on its own and are cute and i joke that kon got domesticated and learned to be a decentish boyfriend i guess (altho i think he was always going to be a loyal bf and the persona from his youth was more of an act). i could enjoy them more maybe in cases where they are presented in a way i find more interesting (such as both having similar journeys in exploring gender, making cassie's stories revolve less around kon or boy drama etc) or outside of canon but personally i also cannot see her with a man </3 koncassie really doesn't do it for me </3
supermartian really only exists within the yja show which i havent watched in over a decade so i can't say much except that i remember being obsessed with them in s1 and then i kinda lost interest and never finished s2
konbart is neat too even if i don't talk about them much either, they also have a lot of canon scenes showing their devotion and support to each other, not to mention the humor in all of yj and dynamic esp during the parts surrounding the apokolips-ish era(the guilt and worry kon felt, associating bart for a chick etc etc). they also have a lot in common origin/character wise (very sci-fi/experiment origins, inertia and match, interesting relationships with adult figures and expectations, both dying, being written off as stupid or immature, etc etc) so i can definitely see the appeal and think theyre also cute. honestly for me it probably just came down to preference and the order i read things in bc if i read yj2019 first or didn't tend towards tim drake/annabeth chase/rose lalonde coded characters i might've had a different main dc ship but theyre neat :)
ofc again these are just my personal opinions and hcs i have nothing against the people who like em (except maybe for the writers of some of these comics)

Omg what if the hanahaki au but in the later years-- where Timkon has a child and a small comfy house in the country, close enough to ma's and pa's but far enough that they have to drive. It's comforting, so sweetly domestic and warm and loving. It's Tim's childhood dream and he's patting his currently flat stomach with another child inside it.
The phone rings.
The phone rings and Tim feels an odd tug at his heart- like it's going to be bad news- horrible news. The kind you see in movies of tragedy where nothing ever goes right.
He picks up the phone and once he does he lets out the most blood-curdling scream in his entire life.
Kon was hurt. *Badly* hurt. He wasn't dead yet, but with his condition he already practically was.
Tim rushes to the hospital, frantically dropping off his confused toddler to ma's and pa's and speedily rushing his way to the hospital-- everyone is already there. Clark, Jon, Lois, and-- and on the bed was Kon. His Kon. The beeping monitor is beside him, showing a slow steady heartbeat.
Through tears, clark explains a mission gone wrong. Kon's been hit with some intense magic that no magician could fix-- John and Zatanna have both tried, everybody tried every connection they had- it was no good. Kon was as good as dead.
They said they should just pull the plug, there was no other hope of saving Kon. All they were doing was giving each other a false sense of hope and not letting kon's body rot under dirt.
Tim screams at them, telling them no, to 'fuck off! He's mine! He's my husband, my soulmate!' And vehemently refuses to pull the plug.
The superfamily look at each other and leave and a few days later the batfamily arrive, black smudges and spots where their soulmarks used to be. Through some luck they manage to convince Tim to let Kon go. Tim pulls the plug and once he does-- he feels the most soul-crushing pain. His soulmark. His soulmark was changing back to before when the bats were-- he looks at the splotches of black on the bat's bodies. Its his soulmark. *Their* soulmark. Tim collapses.
When he wakes up, he's in a hospital gown and his family is beside him. They tell him that they lost the child in his belly and... and they're soulmates again.
Tim hisses at them, telling them to go away, that his soulmate is *dead* and nothing can ever change that. They're not his soulmate and they never will be.
Anyway etc in the end, Tim is forced to move back into the manor with his child. His child is trying his best for his mama to stay happy, but without the literal love of your life beside you it's hard.
The batfam try to cheer him up. After all, the mark back on their skin should say that they can fix tim, right? The mark back on their skin says its their second chance, right?
So they try. And Tim. Tim doesn't outright reject. He doesn't accept either though, and they wonder if being rejected outwardly would hurt less. They aren't loved. They aren't wanted. They're just.. they're not even an object for Tim to fixiate on. Tim is a former shell of himself and they're terrified that nothing will ever fix him ever again- until they see Tim smiling while stroking the cheek of his child.
Like a lightbulb moment they gasp. Of course! A child! What better way to bring him back than a child-- so they tell tim that they should try for a baby.
And Tim just. Blankly says yes. It takes a few tries-- each time Tim is the best pussy they've ever had but the look in his eyes. It was a need. The sex, the feeling of being knocked up by a naked cock- it was a need and not a want. There's no love in that stare. No devotion. No care. Tim has rejected them in his heart. That's the first bud of their flower grown inside their lung.
When Tim gets pregnant they were ecstatic. Finally! A chance to love them, a chance to be accepted-- and silently. The silent pride of the fact that they now have what they once lost.
This could end in two ways. The waynes being some sort of picture perfect family on paper where they have a little wife and two (or more) kids but Tim doesn't love them, tim has a favorite child- the one with Kon and his kids love tim yeah but they're also a bit angry over not being as loved as the first child and angry at the first child for having all of tim's love.
OR
Somehow Kon comes back to life and Tim rejects the waynes and his child with them to be with kon again.
oh! i think i already answered this ask in an earlier post only without tim being convinced to take them back and kon coming back to life😢😢😢!
if kon did come back to life, even without his soulmark- tim would absolutely leave his "soulmate" for him, taking along the children he's had while kon was gone because those are HIS babies not theirs and those babies are so happy to meet their daddy that their mama had told them all about!!!!! the waynes losing their soulmate and children because tim loves his babies and initially it helped him cope with the loss of his and kon's baby but now it was because kon had come back and was a little confused at all these new chubby cheeked babies but he's more than happy to love them as well because anything that comes from tim is something kon wants to love!!!
kon and tim haivng their family back, this time bigger with a few more additions while tim's other "soulmate" is left behind with nothing but flowers in their lungs.
