DPxDC Prompt:
The vigilante meant well, taking the kid to the hospital to treat his injuries. The kid mumbled the entire time, barely conscious. "No hospital, please," he said more than once.
Poor kid, the vigilante thought. He must have a phobia of needles or something.
...
They never could have anticipated the danger they put that kid in, placing him in the care of that hospital.

One of the kids of Casper High has the meta gene. Their powers awaken sometime after the portal incident.
The GIW doesn't see it that way.

DPxDC Prompt where Danny is caught stealing some food in Gotham and when asked where his legal guardian is, he panics and points to the nearest stranger, hoping against hope that they might lie for him long enough to keep him out of the foster system (and the inevitable escape he'd have to stage from it).
He honestly doesn't expect it to work. It's a stupid plan that has him cringing, blushing red as he expects the stranger to call his bluff and walk away--
But Danny is shocked when the stranger immediately rolls with the plan, no questions asked. They are… Surprisingly convincing. Enough so that for a second Danny wonders if he really is their kid now.
Well, that might wind up being true, in any case, seeing as the stranger refuses to leave him alone after the incident.

DPxDC Prompt where when Damian has grown comfortable with the Waynes, settling into the household more firmly, he finally tells them about his late brother, Danyal.
With his family's help, he makes a proper grave for his twin on the Wayne Manor grounds, on a little hill with the best view of the night sky.
Hundreds of miles away in Amity Park, Illinois, Danny's core resonates, recognizing something he's lacked.

DPxDC Prompt where, for whatever reason, Danny enters Wayne Manor. Maybe for a gala, maybe while actually following a bat back to the cave. In any case-- how he enters the manor isn't quite as important as how he leaves it.
There are protections and wards around the Batcave and Wayne Manor, and, due to his halfa status, Danny can interact… strangely with these wards. There is one ward in particular that allows him to enter the premises with no issues, but, well-- He hasn't been able to leave now. And it's kind of a problem.
Danny has now been squatting in the manor for several days, trying to think up a plan.

DPxDC prompt where Jim Gordon lost contact with his sisters, Maddie and Alicia, some time ago.
Maddie was always the reckless sort, always one to run off chasing, well-- ghosts. As for Alicia, she'd never gone very far from their hometown, and they'd been on bad terms since Jim left for Gotham and joined the police force.
They drifted apart, with Jim hardly aware of the milestones in his sisters' lives. Alicia was hardly one to use the phone and would never quite give Jim a straight answer to Maddie's whereabouts. Considering some… legal troubles she and her now-husband had in college, Jim could only assume what she'd gotten up to over the years.
Still, Jim was always busy. Life went on, and he laid down his roots in Gotham. There was never a good time to head back to Arkansas. Never enough drive to…
That is, until Alicia called him one day, for the first time in years.
"Hey, Jimmy," she started, nervous in a way she never was. "I know we don't talk much, but I'm real worried about Maddie's kids."

DPxDC Prompt:
Jason keeps getting lost in the library. Babs isn't sure how or why. The library she works in isn't that large, and nothing about Jason says "gets lost easily".
She's tried keeping an eye on him to see where he goes, but there's always a point where Jason just… slips away.
To make matters more strange, there's a girl that keeps visiting the library. She has ginger hair brighter than Babs', and always looks a little confused, like she's not sure how she wound up there. She never uses the entrance. Never leaves the exit.
Alternatively,
While wandering the library, cleaning up, Babs accidentally finds herself somewhere she doesn't recognize.
The shelves are suddenly a little shorter, the books more untidy.
The carpet's entirely different.
She tentatively presses on, her eyes going wide when she spots a sign overhanging an unfamiliar desk.
"Amity Park Public Library" is most certainly not where she works.

DPxDC Prompt:
When Vlad announces that he'll be hosting a gala-- when Danny's parents make it clear he can't get out of attending-- Danny vents about the issue with his online friend, Tim (a boy he's been chatting with for months now, becoming quick friends over Doomed.)
"Huh, that's kind of weird," Tim says. "B's dragging me out of state to a gala this weekend too."
It's a little too much coincidence for Danny. "Uh… do you mind saying which state?" he asks.
"It's in Illinois," Tim says, and Danny just about bluescreens.
Despite being generally very careful about disclosing any information online, Danny can't help but shout a very enthusiastic, "WHERE IN ILLINOIS?"
There's a pause before Tim says, "Amity Park? Why, do you-- oh my god."
Danny's sure it's clicked for Tim too. He's out of his seat, pacing his room, not even sure when he got up. His mind is buzzing, both nervous and delighted. "Does it count as doxing myself if I confirm what is probably already extremely obvious?" he says with a laugh.
Tim snorts. "Maybe just a little, but-- do you still want to avoid that gala?"
"Fuck no."

DPxDC Prompt where Danny, Sam, and Tucker know more about Bruce Wayne's life than they'd ever like to, thanks to Sam being forced to attend several Wayne galas, and overhearing entirely too much gossip from her parents. They know that Bruce Wayne has adopted three sons, all of which have black hair and blue eyes.
When things start to get worse in Amity, they sometimes joke that Danny should be the next Bruce Wayne adoptee. Danny laughs along with the jokes, adding fuel to the fire. One way or another, there's eventually a bet.
It's a stupid thing, sticking his neck out in Gotham to try and get Bruce Wayne to notice and adopt him (when he already has parents…), but Danny's here for the chaos. He's not sure what he'll do if he succeeds, except for maybe fake his death and run like hell.
Only… somewhere along the line, Danny starts to… actually feel welcome and safe.

DPxDC Prompt: Dick wasn't sure what hit him. His head was pounding, and it felt like the world was spinning. He didn't even want to open his eyes, but-- Wasn't he supposed to be on patrol?
"Um, Mr. Nightwing?"
Dick didn't recognize that voice. It sounded like a kid. Groaning, he forced an eye open and found himself staring up into the face of a teen with bright blue eyes.
"Oh, good, you're awake-- he's awake!"
Dick grimaced as the kid leaned away to shout to someone he couldn't see. They said something in response, a loud booming voice that made his aching head throb, but Dick was too busy staring up at the ceiling to make heads or tails of it. Was-- was he in a car? Maybe it wasn't just his head swimming.
"Where am I?" Dick groaned, glad when the kid came back into view. He tried to sit up, but hissed. He felt like he'd been run over by a truck.
"Um, you're in our G--RV," the kid stammered, rubbing at the back of his neck. "Uh, don't sit up yet, though-- do you feel okay? We may have, uh, run you over."
…Well, guess it wasn't a truck.

DPxDC Prompt where, knowing of Danny's hatred for Christmas, Vlad decides to throw the biggest holiday event he can swing. There's lights in every tree, hired Santas wandering town. Carollers en masse, loud concerts blasting seasonal tunes. The entire town reeks of gingerbread and pine, and Vlad is still just getting started.
The end goal is a massive holiday gala at his estate, one that he plans to invite guests to from near and far. Two highlights of which include the illustrious Wayne family, and the far less illustrious Fentons.
Perhaps Vlad might've reconsidered this plan if he knew that several of Gotham's vigilantes would be present to witness Danny's breaking point.

DPxDC Prompt where the Fentons make national headlines following a… particularly bad accident with the GAV.
No one was hurt, thankfully, but, well… Jack did run over the gate leading up to Wayne Manor, before barreling the vehicle straight into the foyer of the mansion.
No one is particularly happy about this, least of all considering that their two kids were in the vehicle.

DPxDC Prompt where Danny gets ghost king summoned by the JL, but it's one of those "crown too big for he gotdamn head" situations, and not in a way that looks cool.
It's just completely obscuring his face, sat on his shoulders with tufts of white hair poking out.
Danny's only glad they can't see him blushing (and that he can hide the damn thing when he's not actively forced to reveal the artifacts by, say, a fucking summoning).

Danny produces so much ectoplasm that he has to use his powers to burn off the excess energy. One of the ways he elects to do this is by making sculptures of his ice. He makes them with as little of a chill as he can; with the ice mostly comprised of ectoplasm, it maintains its shape.
Even when he's on the run and hiding out in Gotham, he needs that outlet. He keeps making his little sculptures, selling what he can and just… hiding what he can't around the city.
The bats just want to know why hundreds of little (ice?) sculptures have started popping up all over Gotham-- and how someone is hiding them in the strangest places. Jason recently found one in a gargoyle's mouth, and Tim swears he found one in his fucking pocket the other day.

DPxDC Prompt where Danny's been doing everything right. He's been keeping under the radar in Gotham, keeping his head down-- just another civilian in the crowd. It's been months and he's carved out a new life for himself, happy for it to be as normal as anyone with his history could ask for. … All of his hard work is quickly-- too quickly-- undone by a little fear gas ripping that facade away.
