――The new song "konomama" came to me with a good scene even in "Don't Cry Resident". Please tell us your thoughts on the song.

KUBO-C: From the production stage, I was told that it was the theme song for "Don't Cry Residents", and I was told the story of the drama there, and started to write lyrics in my own way. This song was completed with the hope of pushing the backs of people who are doing their best, as well as those who do not go well even if they do their best.

――In the current situation, I think that there are many people who think of it as a “cheer song for people suffering from the coronavirus”. Is it a song that is conscious of such points?

KUBO-C: I also have the feeling that "because of this era." People who didn't work well, people who had to crush the store ... I hope it will resonate with people who live hard.

――What impressed you with the recording?

KAZUKI: Anyway, the production time was long ... (laughs). It doesn't matter if it's long, but the more time you spend, the higher the hurdles for everyone and the stronger your feelings. It was nice to be able to write the lyrics for the recording, but when I heard what I actually sang and recorded, Zara said, "Something is different." This time it was repeated.

SWAY: It was painful.

KAZUKI: You've become very nervous.

GS: I think this song takes a couple of months including the lyrics. But I remember. "Again, this topic?" "Did you come up with this kind of opinion again!" It was painful (laughs).

--Have you ever spent so much time in the past?

GS: Since "To you that day and to me now". The two songs "That Kimi" and "konomama" were difficult to deliver!

-It was hard ... Perhaps because of that, I got the impression that the lyrics were studded with power words that touched the listener's heart. What are you particular about the lyrics?

GS: Obviously, all the lyrics are strongly filled with our thoughts. It was the head of the chorus that I personally made this song and felt "this is it!". The part is, "For example, the story will end as it is without the protagonist being rewarded." The lyrics were elaborated while discussing with everyone, and it was also a challenge to see what each listener would feel.

-What does challenge mean?

GS: For example, "We are the one" is a lyrics that appeals straight, but "konomama" feels like a song that you can hear from your own voice and takes a step forward. I want you to be courageous. I would be happy if you could feel that it was supportive. I think that one of the reasons why this song has been well received by linking with the drama is that it conveys that true intention. It was a memorable cheering song for both ourselves and everyone.

The music video for "konomama" is also popular for its cute finish with stickman animation. Was it born from an idea within the group?

SWAY: That's right. The team, including the manager, came up with the idea of a stickman.

KAZUKI: I made the place properly by calculating the movement and arrangement with a temporary stick doll. Rehearsal, maybe about 200 times, hahaha! I'm sorry, I'm kidding (laughs).

Inexperiência, irresponsabilidade, imprudente, imperícia, inexperiente, incapacidade... Poderia classificar essa atitude dos sujeitos que desdenharam a capacidade de reação de um Doberman de inúmeras formas, e mesmo sem entender se queriam simular uma ameaça para um treino de proteção, nem considero tal atitude como um despreparo por parte dos indivíduos, mas sim com uma burrice e falta de respeito com o cão.
