Hello Dizzy Isy fans! I'm absolutely thrilled to announce the long-awaited release of Version 7!
I'm so sorry for the delay; unfortunately, my time to work on Dizzy Isy is very limited due to various challenging circumstances.
The save file is now updated for the Horse Ranch pack and Chestnut Ridge. I sadly don't have the latest EP yet, so that will just have to wait. Nevertheless, I hope you find joy in this new version of the save!

It is a busy save file with many lots filled to stop random spawning of townies but the empty lots will soon quickly fill up with townie families if you don’t use them.

Sestertius of the notorious Roman emperor Commodus, minted at Rome in 192 CE, the last year of his reign. On the obverse, the bust of Commodus; on the reverse, the personification of Africa greets Hercules. Africa holds a sheaf of wheat (representing the grain the province produced) and a sistrum (the rattle associated with the goddess Isis), while Hercules stands on a ship's prow and holds his club.
The seemingly innocuous imagery of this coin masks the megalomania that characterized Commodus' final years. He is here styled Lucius Aelius Aurelius Commodus, his birth name; his father Marcus Aurelius had renamed him M. Aurelius Antoninus Commodus upon making him Caesar, but Commodus ultimately spurned both this name and his father's heritage. His identification with Hercules, a constant of his reign, reached a fever pitch at this time: the emperor officially styled himself "Roman Hercules" (Hercules Romanus) and engaged in beast-hunts (venationes) and gladiatorial matches designed to evoke Hercules' Twelve Labors. (In one infamous incident, he threatened to cast the audience in the arena as the Stymphalian Birds and mow them down with arrows.) Taking a dizzying array of new cognomina (Amazonius, Invictus, Exsuperatorius, etc.), Commodus demanded that each month of the year be named after one of his titles, and he even floated the idea of renaming Rome Colonia Aelia Commoda after himself. By December 192 his advisors had had enough, and a conspiracy was put in train, into which his mistress Marcia was recruited. She poisoned him; when this did not kill him, his personal trainer, one Narcissus, strangled him in his bath. With him ended the dynasty begun by Nerva nearly a century before.

APPARENTLY NOBODY HAS MADE ANY MASTERS OF DEATH POSTS
so here I am having to fulfill my own hearts deepest desires myself. Gonna fill up all the tags to get people to read this book
Types of people who should read this book
If you’re a good omens fan like me and are struggling with the ineffable husbands divorce this book is for you
If you like stories about death, literally about death as in like the entity that collects souls.
If you like vampires or angels or demons or reapers or lore for creatures you’ve never even heard of
If you like a romance where both counter parts are immortal chaotic bastards who have both been wallowing in self pity over love for the last century or two
If you like romance where both counter parts are actually sweet hearts but are dicks to each other and in denial of their feelings
If you like romance between two sweet hearts who are sweethearts and would never dare hurt each other.
Yes there are multiple romance sub plots. Hints at sex or morning after but not spicy.
You enjoy happiness
This book is a nice read, I describe it as a short story with just a lot of build up and background information. Almost as if you’re supplied with everyone’s life story just for it to build up to this crossover where you must understand everyone’s motivations and wants.
In masters of death there is a game that immortals play where there is only one rule, don’t lose. In the story you have Fox who was raised by death himself, their dynamic is the best thing I’ve seen. Death consistently calls Fox out as a little shit. Viola a vampire real estate agent who failing to sell a haunted house with an annoying ghost in it. Mayra the Angel who is in love with Cal the reaper, Brandt the knows it all the thief and Isis the demon who honestly is just there to watch the chaos.
You’ll follow the book in a dizzying head spin as it reveals so much about each characters past, present and their deepest wants. There will be huge reveals and low kicking cuts as the story progresses and not mention lots of jokes and gags that were just too damn funny. Did I mention the philosophical moral of the story about the meaning of life? It’s as if it were a brother’s Grimm tale (which Fox and deaths story is based on) or a legend of heroics almost too good to be true.
So just freaking read it already before I spoil too much.

Стащила у @cubzikbuilds , а то сколько же можно молчать. Итак!
суть тега: указать несколько пунктов своего геймплея, которые разительно отличают вас от большинства сообщества
1. Нет «детской» игре.
Какой бы возрастной рейтинг у нее ни был, я пользуюсь и буду пользоваться взрослыми модами, и не тихонько за кадром, а очень даже в сюжете. Wicked Whims для меня интересен не столько эцсамым, сколько мелкими возможностями. Система привлекательности, быстрое переодевание или снятие аксессуаров (меня одну бесит, когда симы прутся в дом в шляпах и тёмных очках, еще потом и дремлют в них?), в разы более удобный плеер поз, моментальные фото... А еще там есть мудлет, если удастся затащить в постель знаменитость.
Также обилие милой не-взрослой анимации, романтической и не только. Просто взгляните!
BD у меня стоит ради эстетики курения и страдания. Зависимости, похмелье, необходимость всё это доставать и дружить с мутными типами (а если не дружить, цены выше)... Одна подруга Мэттью так умерла: счастливый мудлет от грибов наложился на фестиваль юмора — и тю-тю. Сам он поймал сердечный приступ, когда пошел в хэдшоп (от ассортимента, видать). Ну прекрасная же антиреклама!
2. Нет простой игре.
Я выросла на двойке, где можно было умереть от болезни или искать нужную работу всю жизнь. Поэтому, когда четверочный сахар скрипит на зубах, берусь за моды. У меня перебывала уйма модов на болячки — все надоели. Прижились: Language Barriers от frankk, Harder Auditions от EynSims и Job Finding от Zero (иностра��ные языки, усложненный кастинг, поиск работы). Последний особенно богат на сюрпризы: Мэттью, чтобы снова стать актёром, каждый день искал работу, прокачал трудоустройство до 9 уровня, наконец-таки поймал нужную вакансию и-и-и... получил отказ!
3. Путешествие на Батуу? Почему бы нет.
В сообществе принято игнорировать этот игровой набор, а я его люблю. Не круто, что часть квестов происходит за кадром, но остальное очень даже. Сеттинг передан отлично, никаких выбегал из соседних городов, а главное, сюжет есть не только в моей голове. Хочешь быть независимым контрабандистом — дерзай; болеешь за Империю и жаждешь арестовать свою подружку-повстанца — и так тоже можно. Ну и всё нажитое потом продается за жирные симолеоны.
4. Нет градостроительству.
Я не строитель. Вообще. Декорировать комнаты могу до залипания, а возводит всё это пусть кто-нибудь другой. Снимаю шляпу перед теми, кто умеет и любит строить.
Также ненавижу клоунских неписей, которых генерирует игра, поэтому играю преимущественно в чужих сейвах. Начала с Dizzy Isy от @islerouxsims ; бросила, когда он стал неподъемным, а красивые симы расселились как попало и наплодили детей в рандомном тряпье. Теперь играю в Ultimate Save от Plumbob Kingdom, откуда удалила премейдов, накидала неписей от @simsontherope, @the-usual-stories и теперь играю своими симами.
5. Нет игре на русском.
Бобровы по соседству с Панкейками, натужный юмор, «персонаж по имени...» и прочие издержки перевода — нет, спасибо. Локализации наелась еще в двойке, теперь играю на английском и счастлива.

(Instead loud bash)
Ringing noises and mumbled voices were all I heard.
"Is 'e dead?" You heard a raspy voice say
"No, he's here in a tombstone for no reason- of course he's dead!" A high-pitched female voice said angerly.
Your eyes shot open, your arms crossed like a mummy and your head felt dizzy.
You sat up immediately obviously spooking the people around you.
"Hiya there matey'! I'm gonna' (gonner)" he held his hand out to you. "And I'm isis!" She looked proudly and smiled triumphly.
You looked at them uncomfortably and smirked slightly.
*Flashback over*
It's been 2 years since I've died, I don't talk much. No I'm not shy I just don't like talking - it wears me out.
(I feel like the reader would wrap both of his arms around gonners waist, not in like a weird way just because- kinda like this, 'gonner is Cleo and frida is you - anyways)
I was watching Dixie and gonner getting alittle to close for comfort, it's not like me and gonners are dating but I wish we were.
I grumbled pissed off, isis heard me and turned towards me.
"Are you okay y/n?" She looked concerned
I shrugged and groaned/moaned. (Like the zombies not weirdly you fuckers 😭😭) she followed where my eyes were look up Infront where gonners and Dixie were being touchy.
"Oh..maybe you should talk with gonner, I can assure you, Dixie doesn't feel attracted to him I promise!" She tried reassuring me but it didn't work I was still pissed.
I groan and walk up to gonner and Dixie.
"We need to talk." I whisper so others don't hear me. Only gonner. I grab his arm and pull him away while isis tries to distract Dixie.
I'm still holding onto his arm as I look down/up at him.
"I don't feel comfortable with you and Dixie being so close to eachother" I glared slightly looking away upset.
"What's wrong? If you tell me what's up we can deal with the situation!" He smiles and looks down/up at me.
I hold on to his waist and pull him closer to me
"I like you. But I don't think you feel the same for me." I hold him tighter not wanting to see his face.
I feel him hold me.
"Why do you say that? I never said I didn' like ya' did I?"
I look at him.
"You like me aswell?"
All he did was smile and hold my hand. I hold his hand and put my arms around his waist as we walk back to Dixie and isis.
Dixie looks concerned while isis is telling her exciting story's since she was alive.
"Oh hey guys your back!" Dixie smiles and starts walking again and isis doesn't stop talking.
"Oh yeah one time-"
Isis continues but I stop listening and hold gonner closer as gonner keeps his eyes on isis as she talks laughing ever so often as I relax and blink slowly.
Looking at gonner with love. I hold him tighter.
Oh how I love this boy. I never wanna let him go.

Akhir-akhir ini baru ngerasain jadi fulltime ibu rumah tangga. Rasanya be like....profesi ini sungguh menguras jiwa dan raga sampai ke tulang-tulang.
Seharian merasa tidak berbuat apa-apa, cuma ngurus 1 batita dan 1 newborn. Si batita juga udah ada pengasuhnya. Ngurus bapaknya juga gak, karena dia ngurus diri sendiri. Newborn mungkin yang melelahkan buat gw, because baby is not my thing. Toddler better lah.
Ga ada rapat, ga ada deadline, ga ada proyek numpuk, tapi berasa sibuk banget seharian. Bisa leyeh-leyeh sambil belajar atau nonton drakor bentar.
Karena pekerjaan sehari ini tidak menghasilkan uang, rasanya gw gak berhak capek. Pas malam mau tidur gitu, kaki berasa sakit banget, tapi terus mikir, kayaknya seharian gak ngapa-ngapain deh, so it's not my right to be tired or dizzy.
Muncul juga perasaan-perasaan bersalah yang gak masuk akal. Misalnya baju bersih anak habis, atau baju suami belum dilipat di lemari, berasa kayak gw gak berguna dan kerjaannya cuma leyeh-leyeh. Printilan-printilan macam itu yang ringan tapi banyak banget, sering terabaikan dan bikin kepala penuh. Anak nanti makan apa, suami mau makan apa, beresin nasi yang jatuh, anak GTM, anak bermasalah tumbuh kembang. Banyak juga ya ternyata urusan ibu-ibu.
Belum lagi nyinyiran nyokap sendiri karena gw tiap hari beli makan. Aelah bro, gw masak juga dia ga makan masakan gw.
Sejak kelahiran si newborn 2 bulan lalu, gw sm dia tidurnya di kamar adik gw yang kosong, sementara si batita sama ayahnya di kamar kami. Kamar yang gw tempati tadinya cukup nyaman, tapi pas hari-hari gerah, gerahnya naujubilah karena ga ada AC. Akhirnya gw beli AC portable, berpikir Ya Allah seenggaknya malamnya saya pingin tidur lebih nyaman biar bangunnya enakan.
Ternyata AC yang dibeli dengan harga lumayan itu berisik. Entah karena gw lagi sensitif atau memang berisik, gw gak nyaman tidur dan kerjaannya mencet2 remote ngatur2 settingan. Si orok kok ya pas gak beres tidurnya dan bangun-bangun. Dah lah itu malam-malam nangis sambil nendang-nendang AC. Berpikir bahwa, bahkan produsen AC pun tidak berpihak pada ibu-ibu tidak berguna ini. Hiks.
Aslinya ya, ibu-ibu yang lagi struggle cem gw ini butuh apresiasi secara verbal. Sekedar omongan: "capek ya? Wajar kok, kerjaanmu emang gak kelihatan, tapi itu nyata bestie...jadi boleh banget capek." Atau, "kamu jauh lebih baik loh sekarang daripada dulu, udah keren banget bisa handle ini itu, belajar ini itu, pantesan anak-anakmu tumbuh dengan baik." Atau instead of muji-muji anak gw yang pinter, sesekali boleh dong muji ibunya, "wah Bilal udah jago ya ngomongnya, kamu kasih stimulasi apa sih biar gitu?"
Ah ya, perlu banget ya pujian verbal? Perlu, kadang itu bisa jadi bensin untuk ngisi kekosongan energi esok hari. Karena itu bisa jadi legitimasi bahwa meski pelayanan gw sebagai ibu rumah tangga banyak kurangnya, tapi tetap berharga. Bahwa i'm doing my best, even in my worst condition.

actually there’s one thing that bothers me still: for all the authors insist that there’s little to no connection to the other religious texts it was found with at nag hammadi, instead focusing almost exclusively on their theory that thunder was a performed piece of political or social criticism/critique
there was zero mention of the other text from nag hammadi that has nearly the exact same words, in the same aretological style!
thunder on the left, the song of eve from on the origin of the world on the right
it’s not the same but it cannot be anything but referencial, if not thunder to the song of eve then both to another lost piece. why was this not mentioned at all?
it seems to me that thunder might be something of a political piece, but one that can only be understood in the context of the extremely standard aretology of Eve from the song of eve (which likely reference sofia’s aretologies, isis’, etc). the other aretologies are comprehensible, normal, straightforward, but it’s this exact form (and these exact concepts from the song of eve!!!) that thunder then manipulates into dizzying paradox
but it’s much less meaningful if you don’t have context
