Plus …. Terry looking like that fuels my many Mafia AUs and considering there is a scene where his character in DT ends up in hospital.

So now I’m thinking a couple things - Terry has met and fallen for Daniel and his rivals know this is try to hurt Daniel to get to (destroy) Terry.

There’s also the AU where Daniel’s father (played by De Niro because it always is intense mafia AUs) has given his favourite son Daniel to Terry to unite the houses and of course someone targets him.

Maybe Terry has had his eyes on Daniel for a long time or maybe as soon as he meets him it’s lust at first sight ……

There’s the ABO AU where Terry and Daniel are married for the same political reasons - and Daniel, his only child, is a omega so can never take over for his father, so this marriage means Terry becomes the head of both families when the Don passes - but a child must be born to cement the Alpha/Omega marriage of course - to legitimize it - and it doesn’t take long - Daniel falls pregnant from their wedding night - and Daniel is targeted by Terry’s rivals and an attempt is made on his and the child’s life to to prevent this from happening.
