Love the part in Gravity Falls where Dipper is kind of sniffling to himself alone in the woods about being a prepubescent boy with a dumb prepubescent body and then the Manotaur shows up and says “I smell emotional issues”

Like these are mystical beings with an extrasensory perception to emotional turmoil but they arguably just make things worse for him. Nothing they do through the episode makes Dipper feel any more comfortable in his body. They have a gift and it is absolutely wasted on them.

This is gonna be harder than I thought.

Sooooooo…when I was like 10 after I saw this episode I posted the clip of Dipper singing Disco Girl in the bathroom on my Facebook and said something like “I wish this was me” and that memory still haunts me to this day (I’m pretty sure I deleted it but I don’t fully remember)

Grunkle Stan: “I don’t have a soft side” Also Grunkle Stan literally last episode: *crying over an old period-piece romcom*

The montage song was kinda hilarious (“uhh, I don’t really know what’s happening in this part…”)

So much of the technology in this show is kinda outdated compared to today but I kinda love it
