Topic of the Day!: Trolls (again, again) (broppy)

I feel like Branch being in not one, but TWO boy bands and presumably being the next king of pop is just such a good thing. I feel like that is such a high role for pop trolls and they have LOTS of bragging rights because of it.

The fact that even though Branch KNEW that Poppy trying to unite the trolls was wrong but stayed by her side the ENTIRE TIME is SUCH a green flag, 100% and I love him for it every day.

I also wonder if cooper has always wondered why he was different from the other trolls or if he never had the thought beforehand.

The idea of Branch being a Rock troll and Poppy still being the queen of pop is so cool! I love AU's where different trolls are another type of genre instead of their original genre. This is @geekgirles's Rock!Branch AU! They are absolutely genius!! Love it so much!!

I would love to see one but vice-versa where Poppy is a Rock troll and Branch is the king of pop!! I personally LOVE Poppy as a rock troll and would like to see more. I think she would be more sassy than she was before. (If you guys are interested in this, I'll make a post about it, or I'll probably do it anyways because I like this idea)

Quack Pack Week - Quack Pack Original VS Quack Pack Reboot (My versions)

Admittedly, I'm late, but let me contribute to Quack Pack Week these days. It's one of my favorite series though. Admittedly, on this first thread I drew related to Quack Pack Week I drew a drawing where the characters from the original Quack Pack (more like Quack Pack AU) and the Quack Pack reboot (that it was based on Ducktales 2017 as a sequel, though it's more Ducktales AU).

I drew Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck, Della Duck, Daisy and Donald Duck, Scrooge McDuck, Mrs. Bentina Beakley and Webby Vanderquack from the Quack Pack version (my way) meeting their reboot versions. And somehow they seem to be looking forward to seeing other versions, while some are not. Especially if we are talking about Scrooge who wears a Scottish traditional kilt with tartan colors. And as for the reboot version, I added my own ways to dress them up, like Della wearing a motorbike jacket, and also used something from my old drawings. I hope you like these versions, and yes, I prefer Donald's nephews wearing hats and pants as teenagers (especially Louie wearing a backwards hat). As for both versions of Bentina Beakley, I left them with the usual outfits they wear in both versions of Ducktales (Ducktales 1987 and Ducktales 2017). Reboot Webby wears a ponytail and jeans, while Quack Pack Webby wears a dress and hair with a flower.

This is Harmony of Bone and Air from 2014.

I created two versions of this design. The earlier one (below the text block) was shaded with a stipple technique. The one above is the full-color version that lacks any stippling. Both versions have merits and suit my different moods. Some days, I feel like I need the soothing rhythm of lots of dots, and others, I need psychedelic rainbow scales and bones to make me happy.

This 2014 image was colored with Prismacolor pencils - I think I used a mix of Prisma Scholar and Prisma Premier, as I was working on this on-the-go The Prisma Scholar pencils are less fragile, so those are the ones that travelled with me. I've since found a hard case I like, and carry Prisma Premiers. Oh, and he has a 3D bauble in his hand. That bit isn't colored pencil, of course.

Two versions of Della Duck (Ducktales 2017 and Duckverse version) celebrate the New Year and Donald Duck and his teenage nephews - Goofy Movie Car redraw - Quack Pack and Duckverse in my version

Once again, I wish everyone happy holidays and a happy New Year 2024!

Sorry for this long break, I was tired the previous days and had to rest, but now I'm going back to where I left off. And yes, the holidays are not over, at least not in my country where these days Christmas and New Year are celebrated according to the old calendar (the Julian calendar which is 14 days behind the Gregorian calendar). The first drawing I drew is related to Della Duck and two versions, one from Ducktales 2017 and the other version is from the comics and the Quack Pack AU (Della is blonde in those comics) toasting the New Year with wine. Yes, I love both versions of the Della Duck, but I think both would go well together. However, they are both mothers to their sons, they have a brother, they are both pilots and astronauts and they travel in space. Admittedly, I did a little my own way. And this year is also special because it is the 30th anniversary of Della Duck's first appearance in comics and the 10th anniversary of her appearance in Dutch comics (80 jaar-80 Amazing Years) and the 5th anniversary of her first appearance in the Ducktales reboot (What Happened to Della Duck), so I can't forget her either, even though I have my objections to her, I still love her character.

The second drawing is a redraw from A Goofy Movie, where Donald is as Goofy and his nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie are as Max Goof. With the fact that I also used as a part redraw from Twitter, so I drew Huey looking at his hand like Patrick the starfish from SpongeBob, and that's a meme (for what reasons, I don't know). I definitely drew this because I would love to have a Donald Duck Movie like the Goofy Movie, only with Donald and his nephews and the Quack Pack version would be great for that, because there are a lot of similarities, at least for me. Of course, everyone is unhappy except Louie who is saddened by the bad relationship between his uncle and his brothers.
