I think they’d have their first “official” date back in California- Stiles had made a plan with Scott and Sam, having Scott text him and tell him there was some kind of supernatural emergency back in Beacon Hills. Stiles asked Dean for his help and expertise, telling him it’d make him look good in the eyes of Raf, Scott’s Dad who also works for the FBI, and would help in clearing their case. And it wasn’t completely a lie, there was a current supernatural threat back home, but it was a minor thing. As far as Sam’s part, Stiles had spent the week asking the tall brunette dozens of questions about Dean and what he liked. He’d found out about Dean’s dream to go to the beach and just relax and ran with that. From there it was just convincing Dean to go with him without his brother or his precious Impala.

Once safe and sound in California Stiles left Dean with his Dad, Raf, Parrish and Scott at the Sheriff’s station to go over what was going on, telling Dean he had to go pick up the rest of the pack because Lydia’s car had broken down. Though he was really picking up food, beer and snacks for the two of them and setting everything up in the back of his Jeep. Afterwards he picked Dean up from the station and drove them to the beach instead of to Stiles’ where he had told Dean they were going. When they made it to the beach that’s when he surprised Dean with the date. After eating and drinking, taking a swim at sunset, and doing unholy things on the beach and in the back of Stiles' jeep they fell asleep in the makeshift bed in the Jeep in each other's arms.

The Kickstarter Premium Components for Distilled by @paverson . @brettballett drew attention to the campaign at the time and the topic picked me up right away. I love drinking whiskey and find the process of making it incredibly interesting. The components are definitely really great ❤️ that makes me want to play the main game all the more.
