i think we as a society need to stop drawing the gender bent versions of crowley and aziraphale younger and hotter. we have seen crowley present as a woman before and she is clearly still middle aged and lanky. and aziraphale probably wouldn’t get very much shorter or younger. draw them with the wrinkles, cowards

im sorry but can you imagine the girls and james watching the Titanic together for the first time.
°Erin and Michelle (more so Michelle) would be crushing so much over Leonardo DiCaprio. They would go feral.
°James and Clare would both get really flustered and awkward at the 'draw me like a french girl' scene, and Michelle will take the hand out of them for it.
°Orla would be obessed with the ship itself, like go on about how good the interior design and stuff is.
°And then they would all cry at the 'i will never let go' scene.

Derry Girls is better than an any sitcom america has ever made. Even though the entire show has less episodes than one season of the average American show. I said what I said.

Look who I found
I was watching Derry Girls series 2 Episode 6 and look who I found in a scene with Nicola Coughlan (Penelope Featherington/Lady Whistledown)...
For those who can't tell who that is, let me help you

another show is over, but it did have a closed and happy ending, so it's ok for me. definitely one of a kind in its genre, characters and humor, but improvable - a bit like derry girls. it's a pity these two shows are over and sex ed got a little meh. now I have to look for new lighthearted, bizarre, yet at the same time clever and profound shows about teenagers. I have specific taste I guess?

I really like how Father Peter went from being framed as some mythologically great man who was miles out of the Girls' league to being framed as a complete loser who wastes the Girls' time whenever he shows up.
And I especially like that they didn't feel the need to reestablish the character in season 3. Like, in season 2, it felt to me like the Girls were adjusting to their new understanding of this man as a loser, reforming their perceptions of him. And in season 3, he just felt like a recurring character in a sitcom. There's Father Peter, he's a loser. We don't need any more explanation than that, and the Girls don't even blink. It's like they don't even remember season 1.
And I love this in part because it feels like the cozy, long-running, American sitcoms of the 70's and 90's, but mostly because it feels like a realistic and healthy way for these teenage girls (and James) to respond to this man.
