Maddy has revived me with her STUNNING spider!shinobu art (linked here). so naturally, having just watched ATSV i really wanted to write something. so here we go (i’m a little rusty, bare with me)

y/s/n = your spider name!

y/n = your name!

Shinobu had been watching you for a few days now. you were her top suspect in a string of crimes that had been happening all over Tokyo. this criminal, by the name of y/s/n, had been committing crimes dressed in their own spider suit. As she perched atop your building, she hummed softly, watching your window closely. then, she saw the movement. and sure enough, there you were, creeping out of your window as you pull your mask down. you swing forward as shinobu quietly pursues you. just as you swing your arm forward to thwip, your body is entangled in someone else’s web.

“shit” you mumble. “my my, someone’s got a foul mouth on them”

your body is pinned against the side of a building; arms, legs, torso restrained by silky purple hued webbing. a body hovers over yours, pinning you further. “now, i’d like to chat with you, y/s/n, if you’re not to busy that is~”

now now now, listen. i was brainstorming names that shinobus spidersona would be and i kid you not, i couldn’t think of ANYTHING GOOD. what like butterfly-spider? spider-fly? poison-spider? spider-wisteria?? NOTHING i tell you, NOTHING.

imagine being uzui. training all your life, being extremely strong, even for a hashira, being in the corps for 7-8 years, all that-- and even making it out of a fight against an upper moon alive. missing a hand and an eye, but still alive.

(granted, it was with the help of some kids)

and then, after you retire, you learn that some 14y/o kid you worked with. who has amnesia. who has only been in the corps for 2 years. who's one of the smallest people you know. and is definitely not close to the strongest of the hashira. just killed an upper moon all on their own. and that upper moon is stronger than the one you killed.

that's gotta take a toll on your ego.

and if not, it definitely changed uzui's views on muichiro.

here’s a villain shinobu x reader thing

she touched her nose, bringing her hand down after to stare at the blood that now stained her skin. she blinked in confusion before bringing her eyes up slowly to meet yours. you were silent, only your heavy breaths filling the air. your hand fell to your side, aching slightly from the impact of striking her face. she stood there, staring at you. her eyes reflected that of confusion, before twisting to that of betrayal. her actions disgusted you, made you sick to your stomach.

“you’re one fucked up person, Kocho” you spat, your hands shaking with anger as a scowl makes it way onto your face.

she stared back at you, her eyes narrowing before she motioned around to the chaos around you.

“all of this, was for you. i’m doing this, for you. everything i did, was for you…” she said, her voice shaking ever so slightly.

she reaches out towards you, only to have her hand swatted away. she stared at her smacked hand, the blood dripping from her nose reaching her mouth. her eyes slowly moved to look back up at you. her mind raced, shifting between anger and sadness, betrayal and fear, and confusion and heartbreak. she closed her eyes, letting out a deep breath as she stands up straight. she slowly opens her eyes and stares you down, a new fire appearing.

“okay” she says in a low, dark tone.

she turns on her heel and walks away, leaving them standing there, speechless.
