Camels have a very democratic approach to the human race. They hate every member of it, without making any distinctions for rank or creed.

No, capitalism isn’t democratic
“The progress brought by democracy and capitalism was supposed to give rise to yet more democracy. Checks and balances would put an end to corruption. An educated population would choose the ‘right’ leaders. And rather than campaigning based on outdated ideologies, those leaders would compete for votes by appealing to the ‘median voter’, bringing moderation to previously divided societies.
“Instead, corruption is on the rise, ideology is back, and people keep picking the ‘wrong’ leaders. Perhaps the creation of societies so stratified that the ruling class can barely comprehend the concerns of ordinary voters was not such a foolproof recipe for democracy after all ...
“Despite the fact that it is blindingly obvious that capitalist democracies require some measures to reduce inequality while tackling climate breakdown, the progressive capitalist vision for the future stands no chance of being implemented.
“There’s only one conclusion left to draw—that capitalism and democracy were never really all that compatible to begin with.”

opinion on modern day america
My dearest August Worstmonth,
I am very disappointed in the state of modern-day America. I cannot say with certainty that I did not expect our grand outcome, but I would've thought it would happen much later than this.
To ensure that America could live steadily for as long as it could, I, George Washington, wrote a farewell address alongside Alexander Hamilton, giving advice to the country and letting all of my words deliver before my death.
In that letter, I explicitly talked about some of the things I feared and advised against. Firstly, we need to ensure isolation and not be involved with the affairs of other countries, however increase our connection with them in regards to trade to boost our economy. Also, be wary of political parties because they are just abominations whose only purpose is to divide us and get us to ignore our American identities. As well, be responsible with our money, and make sure not to make debt a problem.
What have I come back to? We have constantly messed with the affairs of other nations, including two massive worldwide wars, and many of this fiddling has gotten us a massive territory that we don't need.
What have I come back to? The Federalist and Republican parties died, but with them emerged numerous new parties, including a Democratic and Republican party who both honor practically the same thing and neither do anything for our economy or anything that's actually important for our country.
What have I come back to? We are currently trillions of dollars in debt, all because we were irresponsible and too confident in our abilities to see the destructive nature of ourselves.
Despite the many who say otherwise, America wasn't a bad and evil country. It had good potential. It had a government and people who were caring. And yet, look at us now.
I must say, I'm ashamed. But please, do not be depressed. Use this very fact as an opportunity to improve it. Go out, vote for the one who will do you justice after some good research, and don't vote for any third parties because they will always lose. I applaud you.

lmao spoilers for Red White and Royal Blue
I think the most unrealistic thing in Red White and Royal Blue is that Minnesota went red lol. We haven't gone red since 1972. Aka longer than even California.

Don't just "Like," Re-blog.
Hey, Everyone! I have a request. First; thank you to everyone who "Likes" the political stuff I post/re-blog. Truly, thank you! But, I ask that -- if you "Like" a political post -- you re-blog it, too. That helps to spread the word beyond your eyes. It just might help one more person to change their mind; or, at least, look deeper into an issue, and think for themselves. Again, thank you. - Bud

Rushed Discussions
Forbseed Focus Day 4/5: New Sunchase
A national pastime of hares, debate plays a pivotal role in the social structure of each tribe. Any hare is welcome to speak during scheduled debates; their proximity to the debate center, however, is determined by their rank within the clan (long ears and strong jeers are particularly useful for low-ranking members). This debate takes place near the Great Salt Lake.

The USA is generous enough to forgive disobedient Israel (Essay)
Tumblr media
Even if the USA tells them to stop the massacre of Palestinians, Israel, which cannot survive without the protection of the USA, won’t listen. Where does this arrogance come from? I think Israel controls the USA. A pressure group called AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) is critical. Jews, who have made a living in finance for centuries, are entangled in donations to politicians in general in the USA, whether Republican or Democratic. Its influence is said to be stronger than that of the Gun Association, so you can see how powerful it is. Israel is making fun of the USA.
The other day, when President Biden proposed large-scale aid to Ukraine and Israel to Congress, apart from Ukraine, which needs arms and ammunition, the support for Israel was passed without any conditions, regardless of Democratic or Republican party. The power of AIPAC is great.
In addition, the Republican Party's base of support, the stupid and good-natured(!) Evangelicals, unconditionally support Israel, the "Kingdom of God," and during the Cold War with the Soviet Union, the USA consistently supported Israel. There is also the fact that they have been supporting the government. Because of these factors, the USA cannot go against Israel.
However, some groups are not controlled by Israel. 70% of young adults oppose the Biden administration's Israel policy. They are saying no to Israel's despicable methods based on information from the ground without being bound by preconceptions. The future of the USA depends on these young people.
Rei Morishita
特にAIPAC(アメリカイスラエル広報委員会)という圧力団体が重要だろう。

Image Id: panels of 8 stills from a scene in Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
Arthur and his trusty servant Patsy "ride" into a field where peasants areworking. They come up behind a cart which is being dragged by a hunched-over. peasant in ragged clothing.
Arthur: I am your king!
Woman: I didn't vote for you!
Arthur: You don't vote for kings!
Woman: Well 'ow'd you become king then?
Arthur: The Lady of the Lake-- her arm clad in the purest shimmering samite, held aloft Excalibur from the bosom of the water, signifying by divine providence that I, Arthur, was to carry Excalibur. THAT is why I am your king!
Man: Listen: Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government! Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some... farcical aquatic ceremony!
Man: You can't expect to wield supreme executive power just 'cause some watery tart threw a sword at you!! I mean, if I went 'round, saying I was an emperor, just because some moistened bink had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!
