Summary: When Izuku wandered down to the common room, he had expected to get himself a glass of water and then return to his homework. He did not expect Kaminari to be screaming in the doorway while a toddler pulled at his hair and the rest of Kacchan’s friends attempted to separate the two.

“Just put him down!” Mina yelled, “He obviously doesn’t want to be held!”

“DIE!” the kid yelled, and Izuku’s jaw dropped as a tiny explosion went off from somewhere within the group of struggling teenagers.

“It’s okay, baby.” The green-haired one said with a wobbly smile.

“Put me down!” Izuku’s head whipped to see a tiny Kacchan practically screeching in Ashido’s arms. He attempted to climb out of her hold, and poor Ashdio struggled against the kicks and punches.

As The Years Hours Go By by pidge_it_up

“Give him to me!” Katsuki stepped forward.

Aizawa snapped his head to him and frowned. Katsuki knew what he was thinking. He knew what everyone in that room was thinking. Bakugou? Be trusted with a baby? No. No, thank you. He hated babies, or at least that’s what it looked like.

He can barely interact with kids older than 5, that can talk and be their own person. But babies? There wasn’t a baby that hasn’t cried in his arms.

But this wasn’t a. baby. This was Izuku.

Izuku gets into a quirk accident and turns into a baby, getting to live 17 years of his life in only a day, and Katsuki sure as hell will be there for him the right way this time.

ok i’m doing a reread of my hero academia (and trying to redraw at least one pose per chapter), and i’m just thinking. are there any fics where all might gets de-aged (either physically, or mentally AND physically) temporarily to junior high age during the ten months he’s training izuku?

izuku, only a third of the way through the American Dream plan: all might? all might please tell me you remember me. i’m supposed to be training as your successor.

He asks Izuku how Aldera is, gets a vague answer, and then schemes to infiltrate Izuku’s very class. Very confidently, he announces he is Quirkless at the very first day. Results vary.

Gran Torino reviews the American Dream plan. He looks at Toshinori and Toshinori looks anywhere else. In the spirit of teamwork and Quirkless camaraderie, Gran Torino makes Toshinori follow an even harsher plan to match Izuku’s stress level.

We did it with Tanjiro and the Hashira and Uppermoons! I don't see why we can't do it with Midoriya and Class 1-A and The LoV! Izuku get hits by a quirk that de-ages him to like, 5-6 yrs old! Everyone is shocked and staring at Chibi!Izuku who blinks at everyone in confusion, before giving off a bright smile.

They are all wrapped around his little fingers, now, and they can't deny it. And, honestly? I have no idea who gets him first, probably Class 1-A because Aizawa...but, Izuku is gonna be spoiled like no tomorrow, either way! And he just...looks at Bakugo like he hung the stars himself, asking how he got older!? What's it like being a big persons!? Is he a hero now!? (Katsuki is a smug lik bastard, that likes that Izuku is hanging out with him more).

LoV of villians would be choas shenanigans, with Dad-for-one just warping baby!Izuku to himself, as the league fights/argue who takes care of said baby, while saying, "Let's ket the child work out the problems, shall we lil' zu-zu. For now, would like to hear a story?" :)

Little Izuku is the only "hero" the LOV respects and everyone hides as many times as Izuku wants so he can find them and rescue them!

When he's with class A everyone suffers because the little kid only wants to play with his Kacchan, All Might and Aizawa.

However, they slowly win him over by showing him their quirks and explaining to him how they work. Uraraka is the first one to make him giggle by making him float all over the common room. Aizawa is keeping an eye on him so he doesn't get hurt.

BNHA Fic Recs: Family/Friendship Feels

The Todoroki siblings all come together for Christmas for the first time in years when they hear that Endeavor will be out of town during the break. Very painful, but also the most realistic depiction of estranged siblings that clearly love each other, but don't know how to act around each other. Fantastically written, and it's told from Natsuo's perspective, which is a refreshing take on this genre of Todoroki family recovery fics.

Tickets to the Todoroki Trauma Drama Are Buy 1 Get 1 Free by miniongrin

Touya and Fuyumi are twins and get body-swapped and learn about the lives they've developed since being separated and grow closer as a result. Fucking hysterical, great characterization of Fuyumi specifically, and surprisingly sweet and sad when it wants to be.

journey to the past by aloneintherain

When Izuku's classmates are pro heroes, they time travel back to when Izuku was little and save him from villain attacks repeatedly over the course of his life. This is heartbreakingly sweet. It shows all of Izuku's baggage and loneliness while simultaneously giving us the best friend bonding that is Pro Hero Class A playing with baby Deku. It's like getting an ice cream after getting decked in the nose.

Todoroki and Kirishima bonding over being gay. That's kind of it, but it's cute. I like Kirishima and Todoroki being friends. It's just uncomplicated friend stuff.

Todoroki and Yaoyorozu not knowing how to function so they ask their partners for help. Very cute and funny, I love platonic Todomomo, and also they're both autistic, which is just--yes.

Izuku has chronic pain on account of being the human embodiment of poor impulse control, so Dadzawa steps in and helps him deal with it. It's just nice. It's just nice seeing people treating Izuku well. It's vicarious catharsis.

If We're Being Honest by thequeenofwhump

Class 1A is hit with a truth quirk that causes them to spout "fucking word vomit" for almost a month, and because no one can lie, all the couples get together in, like, the first chapter, and it's great. It's hilarious, especially the internal narration of the characters, and there's a lot of really good friendship moments between everyone involved, and I do mean everyone. It's not just the usual angst-ridden characters like Todoroki and Bakugou. I have a whole review typed up for this bad boy, but I'd say it's worth a read.

Imperceptible by lunarecrypt

A Hagakure-centric fic was something I did not know I needed, but now I'm glad I have it. Hagakure needs stealth advice from Todoroki, and she finds out the barest bones of his backstory and why he is the way he is. I always love fics about less popular characters, and I especially love them when they're told from the perspective of an underappreciated character. I really like Hagakure, and I wish there was more available content about her.

Terrible Twos by PotterheadAvengerDemigod

Midoriya is hit with a Quirk that de-ages him back to when he's four years old, and since Bakugou is the only person he knows and remembers, Bakugou has to babysit him. Tooth-rottingly adorable and features Bakugou struggling not to swear in the presence of innocent baby Deku, lest his friends hit him over the head with a rolled up newspaper. It's great, fucking love it.

Kirishima gets sick of Midoriya and Todoroki's pining, so he decides to flirt with Todoroki in an attempt to not-so-subtly force Midoriya to confess by taking advantage of Midoriya's competitive streak. The characterization is really solid and features teenagers being teenagers, with all the hell that is high school put on full display. I just love it when class 1A is depicted as just the most Gen Z kids to ever exist. This fic is almost literally every conversation I've overheard or been apart of in homework group study sessions. It's great.

(Honestly, just go read everything by this author).

A collection of snapshots showing Iida and Uraraka's friendship, where they're really just bratty siblings that love each other just so much. As always with this author, great writing style, fantastic characterization, and hit me in the fucking feels.

Summary: "Don't scare him, Bakugou!"

At that, he growled and examined the child version of Izuku in his arms. "You scared of me?" he asked. It was a possibility. His hero costume had been made to look intimidating. Sometimes kids cried—the younger ones, who were startled by explosions and shouting. Not much he could do about the former, but the latter he was working on.

This Izuku seemed to be about—probably five or so. And when he tried to remember Izuku at five years old he mainly recalled shoving him into the dirt and telling him to piss off while Izuku—Deku, then—cried, tears streaming down his face, and asked him to wait up, to let him join their games, to stop being mean.

He swallowed. Yeah, it was a possibility.

But Izuku vigorously shook his head. "Nuh-uh! Kacchan's amazing!" He had not stopped smiling since he'd laid eyes on Katsuki.

Well, that answered that question. "Suck on that shit," he drawled at his classmates.
