October 9. Sexy Dark Fairy Dash

It was surprisingly hard to find a masc fairy costume. Or maybe it isn’t that surprising because, you know, *whispers* toxic masculinity?

Anyway, curio cabinet statuary hooked me up with this little dude’s picture and I could NOT refuse it. So it’s not a REAL sexy fairy costume, but it is a “thing that exists in the world” and that will have to be good enough.

A Dark Faerie dressed as a Fairy. Tangle must have been doing his very best not to laugh when he picked this out.

Dash probably wasn’t as amused when it was assigned to him.

Dash is an Unseelie Sidhe-Changeling, and the most recent member of Knox’s retinue.

He’s been the Prince’s Court Ranger for the last 2,000 Fae-years (give or take a century) and as such, doesn’t live within the confines of the palace grounds. And yet, whenever Knox is called away from the safety of the palace, Dash is summoned to accompany the prince along with Thorn and Tangle.

You might find it odd that a glorified huntsman is attending gala’s and treaties, etc, and you’re not the only one. Especially since Dash is the only one of the faerie entourage who came to serve Knox by contract rather than by choice. No wonder he tends to come across as suspicious and cold when you first meet him.

Unless he’s around Tangle, who’s very good at getting this uptight ranger to loosen up.
