ANGRON AND HIS DAEMON SWORD

The lore about it probably one of my favourite little things now:

'The latter is a daemon blade of prodigious size containing the essence of a powerful Slaaneshi daemon, whose gladiatorial posturing offended the Primarch enough for him to administer the beating of a lifetime using nothing more than an unworked iron bar – forging the blade in the process.'

He was offended so much that he beat the daemon sooooooo unimaginably hard by Angron and his iron bar that the bar and the daemon just joined together and forged his sword.

I have many questions about this. Now I know the warp has its shenanigans and all, but I like to think about this.

What did the daemon do to start all this?

How did Angron forge the sword? Was it a more traditional smithing technique? Like, was there a hot enough fire in this gladiatorial arena because of aesthetics and he used the daemon as a hammer to smack the sword into shape? Or was it more of a case that he was so fast and hard with the beating that the iron bar, that it heated up in the process and it just took on the shape of a sword as it was beaten against the daemon's form?

Is this a reoccurring issue? If Angron gets super mad and he grabs a random item from nearby, does it has a chance of taking their essence and becoming a daemon weapon? Like if he grabbed a steel chair or dustbin or something. It could imply that somewhere out there could potentially be a daemon weapon that is a toilet brush or plunger, because Angron lost his cool at the wrong time and a nurgle daemon just happened to be nearby

Just finished up painting the skin on the upper body today.

Started off with a coating of Sigvald burgundy followed by layering it with a mixture of wazdaka red and pink horror. after that, I then shaded the 3 quarters of the body with carroburg crimson (leaving the Eye hand to be shaded with druichi violet). i then finished it off with a few highlights around the muscular area's using Wazdaka red, Pink horror and then Emperors children.

after the skin was done, I decided to work on the horn and finger nail areas. I started off by basing each of the areas with wraithbone, then coating it with a skeleton horde contrast paint. wanting the horns to be slightly darker, i then shaded over it with a bit of reikland flesh shade just below the upper tips of the horn (of which i had already coated with black legion).

and yeah that's about it. I don't know where im going to start on next but hopefully by next post you'll find out.
