Hello. Have you watched Suho's latest live after Exos anniversary? We were heartbroken when he said there will be no comeback until all members come back from military which means by 2025. And you and the admins mentioned many times that there will be no comeback this year. Especially that Sekai are enlisting too. But what's the rumor going on about Exo might have a comeback? What is it about?
Yes you're right about all what you said. And yes we said that there will be no comeback according to what Jun/myeon said in his latest live.
The thing is, Exo wanted to have a comeback album for their 10th anniversary(and they did work hard for it and recorded stuff but it wasn't finished) like how all members of other bands did. But Exos 10th anniversary had overlapped with The members military service, unlike most of the bands who were able to promote their 10th anniversary album because all the members were present. It's a bad thing for Exo though. They did think of a comeback and Yixing was in it! It was why he was seen twice in Korea this year. But the problem is the members felt wrong for promoting their 10th anniversary album without the main vocals Jong/dae and Baek and the Main rapper Yeol , it's their 10th anniversary it would mean nothing if they wouldn't be able to record the album with all of the members and promote it without the whole group. Also S/M didn't want to risk and put their money in an incomplete comeback project that may not have the success they expected with the complete group!!!.
But due to fans' request and disappointment with Exo's dull 10th anniversary showcase and the lack of excitement and enthousiasme in the event, and how poorly S)M treated the big event in Exo's 1 decade career.. the members felt the fans' disappointment in the little effort S/M did to promote for Exos 10th anniversary while it's always a huge show for most of the groups and their fandoms. The memebrs are on SNS and they have seen the fans complaining about other groups and fandoms having major events and concerts and huge comeback and Big surprises and many variety shows for their fans in their 10th anniversary.
So what I think ! AND THAT'S JUST MY MERE OPINION: Maybe the members did some change in plans and MAYBE! asked S)M to finish their comeback recordings and preparations they started when Jun/mYeon was discharged to make it up to fans? Idk maybe. So that's the rumor that's been circulating. Also the members did ask the company for units and group projects and variety shows but S/M always said they wanted to enhance their solo image on the market for now, that's the marketing strategy for them for now, hence we got Exo ladder 3. S/M thinks Exos did a great job as a group now it's time to focus on solo careers for each member because like that companies gain more from individual schedules and solo albums and solo events of each member that group projects.
