Gluncle Mike AU
Glam Mike AU where Evan and Elizabeth live.
The Afton kids have a strained relationship because Michael sometimes pushed things too far when he was a young and stupid teenager. Once Michael and his friends are stopped just before putting Evan's head in the animatronic's mouth because Elizabeth got their dad things just get worse. Evan and Elizabeth do nothing to defend him as their father kicks Michael out for what tried to do.
It's not until Evan and Elizabeth are in their twenties that they meet again, Michael desperately trying to ask for their help. It's not until he pulls up his shirt that they start to listen.
After some explanations and closer looks at Michael that will haunt their nightmares, they agree to help. Cue several years of them gathering information on the animatronics, finding William, bringing Henry into the mix, and setting a trap. During that time they get closer and become friends before finally being the siblings they always wanted to be.
Which just makes it hurt that much more when Michael says he wants to burn with the others. It's not fair! They just got to know him and now he's leaving!? Making him stay wouldn't be fair either though. His body has been slowly rotting over the years and he's in constant pain, he's tired and deserves to rest more than anyone.
Skip to years later when Evan has a son named Gregory. If Evan didn't know any better he'd think Michael had come back just to make his life difficult again with the trouble this kid gets into. Evan does everything he can to make sure Gregory never had anything to do with the family business or history, but of course that doesn't work out.
Evan wakes up one morning to find a dirty and banged-up Gregory with a Freddy animatronic that somehow looks even worse. Oh, he hopes Uncle Henry still has some pull with the company, because he doesn't want to find out what happens if they get caught with a stolen animatronic. Evan isn't sure if he should be touched his son got attached to the same type that used to be his favorite or freak that the one that nearly bit his head off is walking around on its own.
When Elizabeth finds out she just laughs. Stealing an entire animatronic? If only Michael were here, he'd be so proud. When she finds out about Gregory repeatedly crawling and hiding in Freddy's stomach hatch it doesn't seem funny anymore.
Michael's memories are kind of scrambled between coming back from the dead a second time, this time after being burned, and conflicting with Freddy's AI. So Freddy has no idea how he keeps confusing Gregory for Evan, a literal adult. Whenever Freddy does or says something rude/sarcastic after living with them for a few days Evan scolds Gregory for being a bad influence. Gregory defends himself that starting the fire was Freddy's idea and Evan's brain just stops as he starts to consider something.

More evil Mike AU, once again this a collab AU with @berryberrydairy , @cookieruma29 (who also did the shading and coloring for this mini comic💖)
I can’t write and it’s full of errors but ay I wanted to give it a try
Michael carefully set the mug on the nightstand and sighed in frustration, fevers weren’t supposed to be this awful, were they? Was Gregory asleep or unconscious? Maybe he needed to take him emergency room instead, Maybe calling an ambulance-
“Morning”, said a small raspy voice behind him. He barely heard it but the coughing was loud enough to bring his attention back to the bed where Gregory sat staring at him with a weak smile. It looked like he was struggling just to open his eyes.
“….Good morning” Michael sat on bed and provided Gregory with the mug he had brought in earlier. “It’s uh, some tea.” Gregory nodded, he took a sip but couldn’t swallow more than that, he started coughing violently, trying not to throw up. “ sorry… I’m sorry..” he said in a wheezy voice.
Michael patted his back, The poor boy had tears in his eyes from all the coughing like he had been crying inconsolably. “No need to apologize, It’s not your fault.” Once Gregory calmed down he looked up at his dad, was it ok to think of him as a father ? Their relationship was so complicated he didn’t know if he had to think of the initial contract they signed or not. But deep down he feared he would be returned to the orphanage at any moment. It’s better not to inconvenience him, his work was too important and Gregory couldn’t afford to get in the way of that, he could get kicked out.
“You should go to your meetings, I just need to sleep it off” honestly Gregory had felt worse before, a small fever was nothing to him at this point. He had a comfortable bed to rest in and a warm room.
Michael had never heard such nonsense before, he’ll be fine if he sleeps it off? What was he talking about. The kid couldn’t even drink liquids. “You…” he pinched the bridge of his nose and counted to ten. Okay that’s it. “ while I agree that rest is important right now, you need a doctor. You’re burning up. You’ve been burning up all night. We’re leaving. Now.” That was final. Gregory had no time to protest, Michael wrapped him up in blankets and carried him to his car, gently placing him in the back seat and then starting the car. It was awfully quiet, Michael was tempted to turn on the radio but the noise would probably bother Gregory. “I’m sorry.” Michael looked at him through the rear view mirror, were those more tears from the fever ? “ you keep apologizing, like you’re sick on purpose or something.” Michael tried to joke “are you?” Gregory just shook his head, his throat hurt too much to talk any more. “Listen. Just making this clear, You’re not at fault here, you’re not in trouble.” Michael felt uncomfortable having to tell this to a sick child. Maybe if it was a different child he would be annoyed but not Gregory. Gregory was different. “Thank you.” Gregory managed to say, before falling asleep as if relieved to hear those words.
Michael focused back on the road, his son was safe and reassured and was going to get better.

Back to '83 AU
I've fixated on FNAF again so I'm going to be making a fic semi-inspired by @/pixlokita who made "Into the Ballpit" au but with my own spin and headcanons and such (check out their au it is so cute and honestly adorable, their Evan and Gregory are so small and adorable!!!) Like the Into the Ballpit we get some time traveling shenanigains involving the Afton sons and the SB crew Evan hides from his brother in the ballpit to escape his brother's teasing and bullying but was found. Michael chases Evan further into the ballpit and they both get transported to 2028, in the basement of the Mega PizzaPlex. They get found by Freddy and Gregory thankfully, but now they have to survive the night in an unknown location with hostile animatronics and try to get back to their own time!
Freddy (GlamMike) seems to have his own ulterior motives as stake this night as well it seems... Besides try to get them back home/out of the PizzaPlex, and of keeping certain "events" from being learned about.
Freddy seems very frigid and cold towards Michael but only Michael ever sees the signs of aggression.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Freddy seems nervous and wary around Evan but is mostly flitting about like a nervous mother bird. He thinks he scares Evan, but Evan just sees him and thinks of a giant kicked puppy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He's still the lovable Freddy, little bit clueless to certain things and always trying to think of the positive's to Gregory. Gregory honestly thinks Michael is crazy for being scared of the snuggly bear. He's just so dad shaped! (Not that he would ever tell Freddy that, he hasn't gotten quite to that level of trust but he's at the tipping point) He's mostly just worried he'll mess up and get the bear hurt (not that Freddy minds, he doesn't care if he get damaged or decommission as long as the two little ones are safe).
Tumblr media
He is still a bear I was just really struggling to draw and I think this is a good representation of how Freddy/Mike sees himself in a way. Not fully animatronic but also not really human/zombie anymore. He is both Freddy and Michael, and there is no difference between them.

do you have any dad michael son gregory headcanons because your art for them is genuinely so so cool like omg… it all looks so good they are so cute in your style
OH MY GOD I'M GLAD YOU ASKED HOLLUP [PULLS UP MY DAD MIKE/SON GREG HC LIST]
greg absolutely secretly looks up to mike's skill set as an artist. he loves to watch him doodle, mike is the type who'd feel conscious when someone watches him draw but,,, he grew to not mind and got use to greg watchin him draw. he can tell the kid is observing and absorbing what he can learn from simply watching him do art.
^^^ with that in mind, Mike often does catch Greg drawing too, when the lil guy is very proud of his work, he shows it off to him. Mike is very encouraging that he keeps up at it cuz he genuinely thinks the kid is doing great.
^^^ As i established in the previous ask, Greg loves to give art gifts to ppl he cares about. He does the same for Mike, especially in special occasions like father's day, or his birthday and whatnot. Mike displays them either in his room or by the fridge, he is very proud of his son's creative efforts!
Mike is not the best cook out there, you can hardly entrust the kitchen to him without him setting it on fire but he tries his best to do a decent job at making pulled pork recipes ever since he found out it's Greg's favorite.
Greg loves to collect all sorts of cute and silly plushies, anytime he spots any when they stroll across a shop or smth he's so ready to persuade Mike to let em buy it for him. It doesnt take a lot of effort to really, all he has to do is stare up at mike with puppy eyes and Mike knows the drill, he sighs and then painfully pulls out his wallet every time. it's worth it tho, it's for the kid
It's always like a russian roulette who wakes up earlier than who in the morning. Sometimes its Mike, sometimes its Greg. Mike usually preps breakfast, well...as best as he could perform the basics. He's shown the ropes to Greg at some point cuz even tho Greg's a kid, Mike acknowledges that he's capable. Greg's a fast learner, if he does a specific task so often enough, he gets good at it eventually. Its a lil funny tho cuz Greg almost does breakfast better than Mike at times. Greg has some fun making Mike's morning coffee for him, he appreciates it a lot. He thinks it's really sweet, he always affectionately ruffle Greg's morning bed hair as a gesture of thanks.
They have a swear jar in the household. No further elaboration needed i think.
Mike drives a motorcycle bike that used to be owned by his mom. Every time he tells Greg he's headin off somewhere for a quick errand, the lil guy insist he wanna come along solely cuz he wanna ride the bike as well. He enjoys being on the bike, he thinks its hella cool and he feels like flyin, he has to always promise Mike he'll behave just so he lets him come too.
They absolutely love movie nights as a hang out time. They both love watching movies, they just have a good time checkin out any film that peaks their interest. Having fun lil discussion bout it during or after watching and all that. Mike is amused when Greg has a lot to say, he just lets the lil guy share his thoughts bout it.
Whenever Mike gets a call that Greg got into another fight at school and it's often cuz other kid bullies got in Greg's nerve [especially if it's them insulting his guardian to his face] or cuz he tried to defend other kids from being bullied, Mike is so ready to throw hands with said kid bully's parents to defend Greg back. Theyre always on each other's side first and foremost.
When one of them catch the other still up in the middle of the night, the instant thought they have is "cant sleep?" presumably cuz the other most likely had another nightmare. It has happened so frequent, they just came to understand that tryin to pass the time doin other things is often the other best thing they can do to doze back to sleep. They had done plenty of things to pass the time at moments like it : be it watch another movie, draw together, just stargaze outside by the front porch etc etc. They appreciate the other for keepin them company. They've grown to try makin sure they never feel so alone anymore the best they can, cuz they arent anymore when they have each other.

Once again derailing from my usual agenda with a sudden brainrot.
FNAF prompt: Double Dads AU
In which Glamrock Fronnie and Jeremike exist separately but at the same time.
In a lot of interpretations of Security Breach that I saw, Glamrock Freddy is thought to be possessed by Micheal Afton’s soul. And with Glamrock Bonnie’s reveal, fans suspected that he’s possessed by Jeremy (or so I’ve supposed).
So I thought: what if actually they existed separately?
Freddy and Bonnie are just normal animatronics with very high function AI, and Mike and Jer are employees at the Pizzaplex: Mike is the security guard and Jer is a technician.
Mike is still William’s son, the murders still happened, so is the “bite of 83” where Evan died in the jaws of Golden Freddy. But Jeremy didn’t get his frontal lobe bitten off via the “Bite of 87” and Mike didn’t get scooped. They were together after Evan’s death: Mike sought comfort in Jeremy and the other provided.
But then Mike unearthed his father’s dark secrets and went on a path to take him down. That caused a rift between him and Jeremy and they split.
For a long time Mike was absent, hunting down William. In that time, Jeremy got together with a woman, they had a daughter - Cassie. But shortly after the mother ran away, leaving Jeremy a single dad.
But soon after that Mike returned, apologized to Jeremy and begged to take him back - he was a fool for leaving him and he missed him every single day. And Jer forgave him and they got together again.
But Mike wasn’t done with Fazzbear and his dad’s crimes. But now he decided to ask Jeremy for help. Before he didn’t want Jer to get involved because he didn’t want him to get hurt. That’s why he shoved him away. But now he understands that he can’t do it alone.
So Mike and Jer apply for a job in the new Fazzbear MegaPizzaplex. There they uncover more secrets. That Vanessa is definitely brainwashed by Glitchtrap and some animatronics are reprogrammed to attack children. Luckily Mike and Jer managed to save and deprogram two of them: Freddy and Bonnie, and put some protection on them so they couldn’t be reprogrammed again without the unique access they created.
That resulted in them bonding with the two animatronics and seeing them as friends (almost bros Jer would say and Mike would groan but sorta agree). They didn’t reveal Vanessa and Glitchtrap to Freddy and Bonnie, but they alluded that something is going on here and that they should be vary. The animatronics took it to heart.
Mike adores Cassie! Sometimes she reminds him of Elizabeth, but he learned to see her as her own person. As his and Jeremy’s daughter. But Jeremy is the one who tends to spoil her, while Mike has to be the one to maintain some semblance of discipline in the house. But he’s very soft with Cassie. And she actually found a way to make him cave to her whims when she really needs it. Mike both hates and loves it. She’s his precious little girl and he wouldn’t trade neither her, nor Jeremy, for the world.
Cassie is friends with Gregory. She tried to convince him to visit her once, but he always refused for some reason.
The truth is that Gregory is an orphan and actually lives in an orphanage, but goes to the same school as Cassie. As well as Tony. (I’m really warming up to the Beckory ship. I just don’t know yet what to do with it) But Gregory has a tendency to often sneak out of the orphanage. Often even into the Pizzaplex.
Then one day something happened which caused him to completely escape the orphanage (or maybe the place got burned down or something?) and start living on the streets, which then resulted in him stumbling into the Pizzaplex, meeting Freddie… and Mike.
At first Mike wants to get this kid out of the Pizzaplex - he’s so close to stopping Vanessa - but for some reason his security pass doesn’t let him leave until 6 am. Great. Must be Vannie. So he and Freddy have to look after this scrawny kid while trying to take down William’s pawn and avoid Freddy’s brainwashed animatronic friends.
At first Mike and Gregory bicker a lot with Freddy acting as a peacemaker. But eventually they warm up to each other and Gregory starts to trust not only Freddy, but Mike too.
Oh! BTW! Bonnie was attacked at some point in the past and was about to be decommissioned. But Jeremy snuck his parts out and ever since worked on repairing him. He was successful and Bonnie’s AI remained untouched, but he wouldn’t be able to move until his body is put back together. As a result Cassie bonded with Bonnie. Her favorite is still Roxy, but Bonnie is nice too.
In fact, because Roxy is Cassie’s favorite, she was the next on Mike and Jet’s list for deprogramming - Mike had a thumdrive made by Jer in his pocket that he just needed to plug into Roxy’s head. How to do it though…
Guess he has to accept this kid’s help. Especially since it seemed he found a way to save Vanessa from her brainwashing.
It’s not like he actually cares about the kid! Or that he reminds him of Evan… Not at all!
————
Hope you liked it. I’m open to suggestions and ideas for this AU so feel free to comment and send asks.

Michael is Cassie’s Dad AU
Long story short, I think Michael being Cassie’s dad is neat but I think the only way it could work is if Help Wanted 2 happens before SB and Glitchtrap claims another victim. His own son, ‘cause free real estate.
Michael survives the Pizza Place fire, unfortunately for him, and he figures the only thing left for him to do now is to make sure his father didn’t come back. (And find another way to die, but one burnt bridge at a time.) He takes Helpy, salvages anything he can, and leaves. Soon after, he finds Cassie, fails to find her parents, and takes her in. It’s a reason to live, if you will. Oh, and Helpy’s kind of her brother now.
The Pizzaplex opens and Michael tries to get a job as the nightguard but it’s already taken (somehow) so he gets a job as a technician. Soon after, Fazbear Entertainment starts making Help Wanted 2, and Michael signs up as a game tester. He has the time of his life reliving SL and surprise, surprise, Help Wanted 1 things start happening and Glitchtrap is here. (And maybe there’s another Jeremy who’s gonna slice his stomach open instead of slicing his face off, I dunno.) With William now also hijacking Michael’s mind, Michael and Vanessa start working together under William’s influence. They finish up Vanessa’s Vanny mask, Elizabeth’s new body, and the hideouts for Vanny to work in while Elizabeth carries out her act. Sometime during this, they nab Gregory and Patient 46/GGY happens or something.
I’m thinking that Michael is the one who makes the security/V.A.N.N.I. mask and Helpi system. He makes a more “tame” version that he presents to Fazbear Entertainment as something to make repairs and the like easier. They love it and use it for their Class V technicians since it’s expensive and would only really be needed for more advanced stuff. Then later, Michael gives them the V.A.N.N.I. mask and Helpi system we see in Ruin. And while the fact that it implants a chip in your head should be a red flag, Michael has yet to screw Fazbear Ent. over (to their knowledge), so they use the new design and system. (And Mike/William probably pulled a SL by answering yet dodging all the questions.) The security masks make it easier for Michael and Vanessa to cover their tracks.
For Cassie’s disastrous 11th birthday, Michael sends Gregory to keep her company. They become good friends which works for Michael and Vanessa. (I guess Gregory’s chillin’ with either Vanessa/Elizabeth, Vanny, or Michael if he’s not helping them ‘cause problems around the Pizzaplex.) Then whatever triggers SB happens and Gregory becomes a target. Princess Quest ending. Everyone’s now free to live their lives and Michael, Elizabeth, Vanessa, Gregory, and Freddy’s goals are to undo the damage done the best they can. (I am liking the thought of Michael still being under William’s control though.) Ruin happens and then everyone’s goal becomes finding Cassie.
Don’t know whether or not Cassie should be a robot child or not. I like the thought of Michael just finding her and being like, this is my life now, but I also like the thought of William having Michael create her to help in the lure and kill children thing, but then deciding not to to use her as leverage against Michael. Doesn’t take much effort to pull the ‘You’re Responsible for Your Siblings’ Deaths’ card so don’t do anything to cause this child’s death. Of course, it could work either way. If she is a robot, she may be possessed by Charlotte. Which in that case, GlamHenry. And I’m not sure about GregEvan. I like the thought of Gregory being a random child Mike and Vanessa nabbed, but I also like the thought of Evan also being forced to be a puppet for William. If these are the case, then I guess for Clara, William had Michael start building her a body so she can join the family of murderers.

So I've been thinking about my other AUs and got curious about how Mike, Liz, Evan and Gregory will react to some of them so here's little tidbits of some of them:
Adopted!Afton Mike: A teenager that was adopted into a rich family that actually loves him. He actually gets spoild by his new family, especially his new Mom. [Age: 14-18, alive]
Married!Afton/ReiMike AU Gregory: A happy kid with a good life. His only trama was the few hours he was hunted by Vanny and the anamatronics to be killed. He's the son of that AU's Mike and has a little sister he gets along with. [Age: 10, alive]
Soft!Aftons AU William: Not a killer and is a genuinely kind soul. He was framed for the deaths of the children by the real killer and suffered for it. [Age: old lol. Like 50's or 60's, dead]
Spoiled!Elizabeth A very spoild and selfish brat that demands what she wants and has temper tantrums whenever she doesn't get her way. [Age: 5, alive]
Canon!Mike: Married with a daughter. Hates William with a passion and is a good Dad/Husband. [Age: 24, alive]
Canon!Chris: Has a really good relationship with Mike and is engaged. [Age: 21, alive]
Cursed!Elizabeth: Cherful and kind but doesn't take crap from anyone. Curse: iron acid saliva. [Age: 14, alive]
Cursed!Chris: Quiet and reserved but usually pretty chill. He's close to Cursed!Elizabeth Curse: unknown [he has no eyes yet can still see and can carry things in his skull with no problems. He also carries a medium size living black egg like thing around a lot] [Age: 10, alive]
Aftongami!Mike: A happy child newly adopted along with his siblings into a rich family that takes care of him. [Age: 8, alive]
Glem!Mike: Married with [biological] kids. Kind and forgiving but also stirn and stubborn. [Age: unknown, died at 43]
(I’m assuming you mean the Rebuilt kids reactions)
Mike for the most part would be happy for his counterparts as he wouldn’t wish the tragedies he’s gone through on any of them. But he also can’t help but be a little jealous of them as they’ve had the lives he’s only dreamed of.
Evan’s mostly fascinated by his counterparts, especially the ones that are adults as he’s been curious about what he would have been like if he had had the chance to grow up.
Gregory would be jealous of his counterpart and lash out, angry that the other got to live and have a mostly happy life while he himself was murdered.
Elizabeth would just hate her counterparts though she’d be good at hiding it as she believes they don’t appreciate how good they have it.

Going Back: Ch. 14
~Coauthored by @zeitghest~
Fandom(s): Five Nights At Freddy’s: Security Breach
Description: Things are looking up for Gregory. After putting the soul of a formerly-immortal killer to rest, he and his new family can finally begin their lives anew. Sure, Gregory might have been cursed with mysterious Remnant in exchange for being involved in this mess—not to mention his caretakers consist of sentient robots and ghosts… But there’s no doubt that the bond they share is unbreakable. They love him, and he in turn.
All in all, life is finally starting to go right for once.
…Unfortunately, true peace is a hard-won battle. There are other things to contend with besides William’s decrepit soul, and Gregory will learn that his role in the lives of the Aftons and Emilys is far greater than anyone could’ve imagined.

Amazingly, Michael slept until the crack of 3 pm. He left the land of sleep in a daze, barely registering he was awake at first. Rolling onto his back, he stretched his arms out and accidentally smacked Charlie’s face with the back of his hand in the process. It was her retaliating punch to his ribs that fully brought Michael to reality and with a mumbled apology he got out of bed, rubbing his side like it was now a bruised as he meandered to the shower. Clean and refreshed a short while later, Mike headed off to the Pizzaplex. Thankfully he didn’t need to eat and was therefore able to head straight to Sam for an update on the day and to see what was on the docket for tonight’s tasks.
Meanwhile, Gregory stirred a few minutes after Michael left the hotel room. Freddy had been dozing, getting more used to the concept of sleep as time went on, although he immediately perked up when the boy next to him began shifting.
“Good morning, Gregory,” Freddy said, pressing a quick kiss to his son’s forehead. Amazingly, the hoodie was mostly still on, having shifted only slightly during Gregory’s deep slumber. Bleary silver eyes peered up at Freddy from underneath the set of bear ears, making the ursine man’s heart absolutely melt.
Charlie was lucky Sam didn’t want her in “officially” to work until Monday. That’s when she was supposed to be settled to help Sam out; invoices and directing his calls sounded fairly easy when it came to her more logic oriented brain. For today, Charlie was content to sleep with her now-bruised cheek facing the ceiling.
Gregory had been mindful of Charlie’s slumber in the bed next to them as he quietly greeted Freddy. “Morning, Dad…”
A fast smile returned to his face. He was the luckiest kid—not just statistically. Today he felt good. With no hide nor hair of his foster parents around, Gregory was relaxed and happy to wake up with people who actually cared about him. He rolled over, throwing his arms around his dad as he thought of how close he was to never having a life like this.
***
Sam looked a lot better. The bags under his eyes were beginning to clear up nicely thanks to those strange melatonin candies Moon carried around, the natural sleep aids doing wonders for Samuel’s complexion. Outside the Daycare, Sam met with Michael and instructed him on what this shift was going to look like this afternoon.
“I was going ask you to help me get started on Roxy’s restoration, but Sophie’s going to meet you in the main security hub first,” Sam said, refilling a coffee thermos in a break room behind a Staff Only door. “She’ll show you the security route and protocol stuff. You know, newbie training and everything. It would be kind of unfair if everyone but you had to do orientation and all." Grimacing, Sammy leaned in close and cupped a hand over his mouth. "Plus, between you and me, she's the most suspicious about you guys—best not to give her any reason to make it worse.”
“I understand,” Michael replied, shoving his hands in his pockets. He raised an eyebrow as Sam inhaled the coffee, recalling the days when he too survived mostly on pitchers of the stuff. “I’ll meet her now then, I suppose?” When Sam hummed in confirmation, the guard nodded and headed off to the security hub. He wondered what Sophie thought of all this…
Would she still be mildly terrified of him as the Afton heir, like she’d been during past interactions? Thankfully Mike could now do away with that stuffy persona modeled after his cold-hearted father, although he knew the personality change would probably throw poor Sophie for a loop.
And speak of the devil—she was waiting for Michael right where Sam indicated, staring off into space.
“Hey!” Mike greeted as he approached, giving Sophie a little wave. He lowered this hand and offered it for her to shake with an apologetic smile. “Sammy said you wanted to show me a few things? I, uh… I’m sorry if we got off on the wrong foot earlier this week. I promise I’m not a complete asshole.”
Inside the room, Sophie had paused the video feed she was reviewing. Michael didn’t ask why, so she didn’t explain her reasoning for looking over the tapes. She tried hiding her jump when Mike began to speak, and his suddenly friendly demeanor had her very confused.
This was the same Michael Afton with the shitty attitude and muscle shirts, right? Sophie decided for the sake of their jobs, it was best to throw that mess under the bridge.
“Oh, it was a stressful week for everyone, Mr. Afton. No worries!” she replied with an easy going shrug before reaching out and taking his hand. She shook it firmly, and felt more at ease when she could feel him respond and match the strength of her grip. “But hey! Now that you’re here, I can start your tour!”
“Sounds good,” Michael responded, although he grimaced slightly at the name. “Oh, and no need for all that formal stuff anymore—Mr. Afton was my father. Just call me Michael or Mike; whichever you prefer.”
“You got it.” An easygoing smile returned to Sophie’s face. Perhaps the off-putting behavior had all been caused by stress. Intrigued, Sophie stood and began explaining the typical duties of a Fazbear night guard. “So—if you're doing nightshift, the first stop is making sure the auto locks go off at twelve at night. Starting from there, I'll show you the route we normally take! I personally just like taking a walk down the atrium from the front doors. Then it's just checking the backrooms in the fastest way possible before making it back to the security room.”
Gathering her flashlight and walkie, Sophie was sure to log out of the computer before hitting the door button on their way out of the room. No one needed to know she was snooping through video surveillance...
Michael instinctively patted down his work belt as he watched Sophie get her supplies. Everything was intact and accounted for, as usual. The day Michael Afton forgot or misplaced a piece of security guard gear would mark the failing of his mental capacities—after everything he’d been through, he’d never lose a potential weapon unless it was from throwing it at an animatronic that was after his blood. Hopefully they’d never have to worry about that again, though.
As Sophie continued speaking, Mike managed to pull his thoughts back to the present and follow her out the door. “Auto locks go off at twelve, then case the back rooms and return to the security office—got it.”
His gaze swiveled around as they walked, really trying to take in the building he’d be working and half-living in for god knows how long. “I know there’s multiple offices, though the one by the stage is the central hub. Does the night guard switch between them, or are the others more so there for back up or extra dayshift security?”
“Daytime security mostly. We used to have... More night guards. And day guards.” Sophie subconsciously reached up and pinched the bridge of her nose.
Yeah, Vanessa had scared off a few newbies trying to learn the ropes. Honestly she was glad that Ness decided to take a wellness trip. Someone that high-strung sorely needed it, especially if she was keeping other people from doing their jobs.
When they hit the atrium, Sophie explained it a bit more thoroughly. “Usually if we had more staff, they’d be helping you out by watching their own sectors while you do rounds. Not many people want to work here these days... Go figure.”
Sophie spoke honestly, maybe even against her better judgement as she knew Mike and Sam must be friends of some kind. Still... Everyone knew this place had a weird history. Sophie was aware before even taking the job, and yet—probably against her better judgement—she still signed the employee contract.
“Speaking of which...,” she began, slowly drawling her words as she carefully meandered around the subject. “Why did you want to work security anyway? It doesn't exactly have the best reputation as a fun job...”
A wistful smile crossed Mike’s face.
“No, it certainly doesn’t,” he agreed, pale eyes flickering to Sophie’s briefly before looking away. “I’ve got personal stake in this place, for one thing.”
He might as well flaunt the Afton name even though he hated it. Maybe he could even reclaim it in time. While he’d never be rid of the dark blot of terror William created that forever loomed over Fazbear Entertainment, Michael could at least do his best to convince his coworkers that not every Afton was evil… or dead.
Kind of.
“Also, like we told you before we came to check in on this place per Sam’s request,” Michael went on as he and Sophie meandered casually through the Pizzaplex. “When I saw the state of things and the clearly overwhelmed night guard, I had to stick around to help. I might not look like it, but I’ve got a fair amount of security detail experience under my belt.”
He stopped himself from rambling more, not wanting to say too much. Michael got the strangest sensation that Sophie might actually understand some of his sordid past if he told her—or at the very least accept it. But that wasn’t a fair burden to put on anyone, let alone someone so young just trying to do their job. For now, Michael would remain the enigmatic Afton willing to help his family friend Samuel anyway he could.
The pair meandered through the Pizzaplex, chattering idly as Sophie explained the standard duties of what security here entailed. Eventually, their trip took them to the Daycare. The closer they got, the more Mike realized that this might not be the best idea. So far, Ennard had done a great job of avoiding dayshift staff, although they’d never been so close to Michael as they would be in the Daycare…
Of course, it was entirely possible that the amalgamation was chilling in the basement with Henry, though with technically two new friends if counting Sun and Moon separate, Ennard was spending most of their time in the rainbow room of fun. It would be too suspicious if Michael asked Sophie to wait outside while he scouted the area. Instead, he opted for loudly announcing their presence, hoping the knowledge that he was with someone else would be enough to send Ennard running for cover if they were around.
“Sophie, have you gotten the chance to visit Sun since he got all fixed up?” Michael asked, speaking a bit louder than might be necessary as they ducked under the garage door leading to the drop-off area.
“Oh yeah! I visited him this morning,” she answered in a perky way, figuring he was just making conversation. She approached the slide, which was honestly one of her favorite ways to enter any of the attractions. “Dude, I felt so bad. I tried asking Sun what was wrong but he just sort of covered his mouth and screamed? I think Sam said he was stuck between personality matrixes. And because he's sort of scared of the dark, it left him freaked out for like the whole weekend!”
Standing aside, Sophie waited for Mike to go down first. “Have you ever taken the slide into the Daycare? It's so much more fun than it looks.”
Inside, Mari was currently having the time of her life. Running around and chasing after both Sun and Ennard in one of the more enriching games of tags she's ever played, mostly her and Sun were the ones shouting over any attempts at signaling those robots inside the Daycare.
Well, shit. Michael caught a flash of movement—three shapes, and that’s all he needed to know. Sun and his new friends were playing and clearly didn’t hear his warning. Mari he could explain away: Charlie’s little sister, come to visit the Pizzaplex and Sam. The CEO needed to get some work done, and therefore dropped her off in the Daycare for Sun to watch over. Ennard though… now that would be a tough one.
Michael ran a stressed hand through his hair. As usual, that thing was the bane of his existence. Thinking quickly, he flashed Sophie a grin and took her offer of going first down the slide. Wasting no time, he practically threw himself down feet first, landing in a crash of plastic that instantly caught the yelling robots’ attention. They had about ten seconds max before Sophie made it into the ball pit, and as Michael scrambled out of the way he hissed frantically: “Dayshift guard right behind me! Ennard, GET OUT!”
Ennard briefly caught that flash of muted white and black of the security guard uniform. They were excited to see the human man and shouted a greeting to him.
“MIKEY! I AM WINNING TAG!” They stopped right by the ball pit, leaning over to loom over Michael, excited to finally talk to his friend after some silence for the past few days. But when they felt Mari's strong little hands shove them hard into the ball pit, they knew they were out of the game for now.
“TAG!” Mari shouted at the big old mess of wires and gears. “Now stay hidden you big goober!” She said, clapping the dust from the grody carpeting she had to touch.
Behind Michael there was a shout of joy from Sophie as she slid face first down and crashed into the ball pit, unaware what was lurking just out of sight in the plastic pool.
“Wooo... Man, that never gets old!” she laughed, shaking her hair out as she resurfaced. Though confusion quickly over took her as she saw Mari standing before Michael at the edge of the pit. “Oh—hey? What's your name? Are you lost...?”
Mari was quick to answer, her only downside being that she was a very truthful person by nature.
“No ma'am! I'm not lost; I'm Mari!” she protested, a cheeky grin on her face. Very cute, but Sophie did not quite like being called ma'am. It made her feel far too old. Standing up and wiping invisible dust off her pants, Sophie slowly made her way over to the young girl.
“Well, sweetheart, we've been closed for the past week. Do your parents know you're here?” she said, taking a very gentle approach to helping her. Although Mari looked kind of old to want to hang out in the Daycare area...
“This little angel is Charlie’s sister!” Michael quickly chimed in, scrambling out of the ball pit before a wiry tendril under the surface could fully wrap around his ankle and lock him in place. Once on the padded floor of the play area, he snaked an arm around Mari’s shoulders and pulled her into a side hug. “She came to visit Sam, but he must’ve needed to get some work done and dropped her off in the Daycare. Right, Sun?”
Michael shot a glance over his shoulder to where Sun was stooped, gazing at the interaction with rapt interest. It was a good thing his static face was stuck in a permanent smile, for the way he wrung his hands together indicated his nervousness at the situation. However, he immediately latched onto Michael’s direction, shifting his hands to clap them together.
“Oh yes!” the lanky animatronic exclaimed, bells on his wrists jingling as he swayed from foot to foot. “I’m watching over her until Sam or Charlie comes to pick her up! Ooh, but isn’t she just the cutest little ray of sunshine?!”
In a fit of what could only be described as cute aggression, Sun bent at the waist and reached forward to pinch both of Mari’s smiling cheeks at once, much to the girl’s chagrin.
“Sun?! How could you!” she said, feeling betrayed that her friend played along a bit too well as to treat her like a small child. She reached up, grasping his wrists and silencing the golden bells there. “You’re it now…” Mari said, reminding them that they were still playing a game. Sophie cracked a smile, believing them right off the bat due to the sheer resemblance she saw between all the Emily’s.
“Yes—” Sophie laughed, watching the maliciously compliant little girl interact with Sun. “—she’s cute. Looks just like the boss and Charlie. Are you having fun, Mari?”
“This is my second favorite place to be. But Sun’s one of my best friends…,” Mari admitted, now rubbing her face into the soft fabric of Sun’s stripped pants in a way that made Sophie's heart melt.
It took literally all of Sun’s willpower not to scoop Mari up and squeeze her until she was out of breath from the affection. To be called one of her best friends was the highest praise in Sun’s book. He patted the top of her head, slightly mussing up her shaggy waves in a way that framed the cherubic face even more adorably.
“Like Mari said, we’re playing tag!” the Daycare attendant exclaimed, looking to the guards expectantly. “Do you want to play with us?! It’s always more fun with more people!”
“Uh, well we're kind of on a schedule,” Mike explained. It’s not that he didn’t want to play tag—he was more worried about Ennard’s weird obsession that might entice them to stick an eyeball out of the ball pit to watch the fun. If Sophie caught sight of the creature lurking in the depths below, she’d probably freak out. With an apologetic smile, Michael shrugged up at Sun. “Next time, for sure; I’m technically in a tour right now for my new job, but we wanted to check in on you.”
“How sweet!” Sun gasped, completely unfazed by Michael’s denial of playtime. “I’m doing just great! And so is Moon! I’m sure he’d say hi to you both if he could!”
Under the pit, Ennard's wires shuttered and stalled with having almost gotten their prize. It was like Mike had developed a sixth sense when it came to their attempts at grasping for him. Despite his wishes not to play, Ennard knew he would be back later. Then they could chase each other down like old times once more…
As Sophie rose herself out and carefully over the lip of the rainbow river, she told the Daycare Attendant: “I’ll be back before my shifts up, Sun! I’ll bring some Fizzy-Faz to make up for it. We still have to get back to the security office for midday clearance.”
It was a rule from the start that all personnel that clocked in had to be accounted for by midday. A safety precaution that Mr. Emily took very serious. She was hardly worried about the boss’s daughter. The girl was in the safest part of the Pizzaplex. With its own lockdown features and 7 foot tall animatronic, people were hesitant to break rules under their charge.
“WAIT!” Mari shouted, jumping and grasping onto Sophie’s arm which had nearly been enough to make her panic right then and there. “I need your walkie talkie, please!” Before Sophie could answer, the communication device was slipped off her belt loop.
“Dad? It’s Mari! Do you copy?” she asked over the thick static.
A short pause followed by some feedback static was the only barrier between Sam's confused-sounding answer. “Uh—Mari? Yes, what’s wrong?”
“DRINK SOME WATER! You’ve been drinking too much coffee,” she shouted knowingly into the receiver. There was a long pause then after, followed by a heavy sigh on the radio.
“I’ve got water. Thank you, sweetheart,” Sam replied, probably relieved there wasn’t a real issue.
Mari then clipped the walkie back onto Sophie’s belt, leaving the security guard slightly dazed at the young girl’s responsible demeanor. Hell, she might make a good security guard when she’s older…
Michael had to stifle his laugh by turning it into a rather furious coughing fit. It was sweet to see Mari still fully invested in her role as the security bot of her earlier days, but imagining the look on Sam’s exhausted face when she called him “dad” so casually was enough to set off a fit of poorly-disguised giggles. Sophie would never know how absolutely bizarre their whole twisted “family” situation was…
“Thanks for helping keep your dad in check, Mari,” Michael eventually managed to say with a roll of his eyes. “God knows he needs it…”
“She’s so thoughtful!” Sun praised, jumping on the opportunity to shower his new friend in even more affection. This time he did pick her up, gently rubbing his face against hers while being careful of the bright spokes signaling his sunny disposition.
“Best mini-security guard around, that’s for sure,” Michael agreed, flashing a grin up at the pair. He then stretched his arms out, miming the action of cracking his joints as he looked to his coworker. “I guess we should head for that check-in?”
“Yes, yes, you don’t want Sammy to worry!” Sun encouraged, setting Mari back on the floor so she could say her goodbyes. Before she got the chance to though, the Daycare attendant crossed his arms overtop each other and grasped one of Michael and Sophie’s hands in his own, shaking them vigorously. “It was soooo good to see you! We have to play a game next time you both come around!”
Mari looked over the moon. She seemed to love the attention from others, and especially from one of the animatronics she chose to spend a lot of her time with. Until very recently, she couldn't express herself much. A living doll limited to its mask. Thanks to her creator, she could experience the world as the others did and finally share all that she knew.
Sophie, none the wiser to the twisted monster in the pit could eagerly shake Sun's hand carefree. There was nothing amiss at all in the Pizzaplex today. Sam would be happy to hear that after so many nights of constant stress... which might give her some the opportunity to do some snooping without anyone watching too closely. Though Michael knew his stuff—she would have to be careful around him when maneuvering the security cameras and other employees later.
“I'll bring a board game next time I come on by, Sun,” Sophie promised, knowing soon it would be her turn to watch the Daycare. Turning to Michael, she nodded her way to the door with a casual smile. “We're making pretty good time today—how are you liking the Pizzaplex so far?”
“It's growing on me,” Michael replied with a little smile that was hard to read. With a final wave, he followed Sophie to the exit. As he crossed the threshold of the doorway, he swore his slightly advanced hearing picked up on plastic shuffling from the ball pit, as well as a near-imperceptible “Wait, silly!” from Sun. Resisting the urge to roll his eyes with all his might, Michael picked up the pace until they reached the entrance lobby, upon which he slowed again for Sophie to take the lead.
It wasn't yet time to come out, Sun and Mari had to practically wrestle him back below the plastic balls. Sophie would look over her shoulder at this display with the expectations of seeing them messing around playfully. As Ennard sucked Mari into the pit below, making her break into a giggling fit, Sophie smiled at how much Mari was enjoying herself. Completely clueless as to the happenings of the Pizzaplex, she was quick to guide Mike back out and into the main atrium where people remained busy in order to have the place opened on schedule.
“It sure is eventful around here though,” Michael commented as he saw some staff members bustling around. He knew it was nowhere near what it'd be like when the place was actually open for business, and admittedly he was glad he worked mostly night shift. Over the years he'd gotten used to the relative quiet of darkness.
...Well, when he wasn't cursing in terror from bloodthirsty animatronics at the office window, that is. Soon enough they'd made it to the check-in location, where a few other staff members were milling about. Michael looked around for Sam, wondering if he'd make an appearance—clearly he was awake from Mari's recent short, chiding call.
Currently, something huge was being taken on a dolly and into the freight elevator by a few workers and Mr. Emily himself. Whatever it was had been covered by a large canvas sheet, wrapped in hooking bungee cords to keep the canvas from slipping off the odd shape. Samuel was currently holding the elevator, allowing the people helping it upstairs to fit inside the lift without it shutting on them. When Sam spotted the pair walking in tandem, he waved to them.
“How's the tour going, guys?” he asked, seeming in a better mood than the last week as a whole.
“Good!” Michael replied, staring at the elevator curiously as the large object was finagled inside. Another animatronic, perhaps? There were still a few more to get up and running, after all…
“Sophie’s been taking me on her daily route,” Michael elaborated, sticking his hands on his pockets and slouching casually to the side. “We stopped by all the animatronics to check in, too—DJ, the Glamrocks and Sun. They seem to be doing great!” A corner of his mouth twitched up in a knowing smirk.
“Also, Sophie got to meet your daughter—Mari’s certainly keeping Sun entertained.” Mike tilted his head. “How’s the coffee to water consumption ratio by the way, boss?”
Sam should’ve known that was the reason he received such a strange call coming from Mari; it’d really thrown the employees he had asked to help him for a loop. One remarked how they didn't know he had a daughter, while the other had spoken up to say they thought he had two. It made answering Mari just the slightest bit difficult. Then again, he was so tired, he could deadpan a lie fairly easily.
Sam chuckled, finding it weird how he had to pretend he had two kids—one being his sister, and the other a robot designed to protect both himself and said girl...
“Was she being good? And I'm drinking more water than I was before, if that's helpful,” Sam replied in a cheeky way.
“Oh, she was just fine. The Daycare attendant loves her, predictably,” Sophie said with a shrug. Sun loved all the kids, of course, but she reckoned he probably had a soft spot for his creator's daughter.
“I think she’d live in the Daycare if she could, to be honest,” Michael chuckled. If Mari could have a permanent slumber party on that padded floor surrounded by all her friends new and old, he just knew she’d be the happiest little robot in the world. While he couldn’t offer her that, Michael could give her a chance to experience something potentially just as exciting… He’d have to stop by on his way out to see if she’d be up for an adventure.
“Anyway, am I allowed to ask what you’re up to, or is it top secret?” Michael inquired, tilting his head towards the elevator as Sam let the doors close after staff finally got the mysterious object inside.
Sam looked around him and as the handy men loaded his project into the lift, he would let the door shut before saying anything—leaving quite the suspenseful beat for Sophie and Michael to endure. Then, he waved them closer and whispered just for their ears only. “It was a project I’d been working on for a while before this whole fiasco started. You guys remember Foxy the Pirate, right?”
Sophie’s eyes couldn’t get any bigger. Another employee passed them by to make use of the lift and Sam gently herded them both away while Sophie asked in awe: “Wait—was that why we couldn’t go to Parts & Service?”
“Mhm; partly,” Sam said, dodging her eye contact by pretending to look at his watch. “We are switching the department, however. I don’t know what we’re going to use that room for next. Maybe a break room—we just need more space for the newest animatronic line.”
The explanation eased Sophie’s conscience a little. The more she learned, the more most of this sounded like it was in the works for a very long time, and not just a spin on last ditch cover up.
“I’ll be powering him on shortly, but he needs to charge. I think someone accidentally left his roaming mode on sometime last week… You guys think Roxy’s ready to meet her brother?” he asked, hoping Roxy wouldn’t take it harshly to have a family member performing in the band with her.
“Holy shit,” Michael murmured under his breath, followed by a whispery chuckle. He knew it was coming, yet somehow the announcement of Foxy the Pirate Fox in the official lineup was still surprising. A bright smile lit up his face as the initial shock wore off.
“Sammy, this is awesome! And I think Roxy’s going to be just fine.” He snickered, lips twitching into more of a smirk. “She’ll have someone else to get into trouble with."
As way of explanation for his reaction to a refurbished children’s character, Michael told Sophie: “Foxy used to be my favorite as a kid.”
Sophie could see the way Michael brightened when speaking about the character and his hardwired personality. It gave away exactly who Mike’s favorite was. Sophie was interested in seeing how the animatronic was going to stack up against the already established cast.
“Foxy was so cool—” Sophie agreed, seeming to be a big of a fangirl herself of the rowdy cartoon pirate. “—did you tell any of the Glamrocks yet?”
With a finger pressed over his lips, Sam made a soft shushing sound.
“No, keep it a surprise until tonight. I’m going to get the band all together then introduce the old Fox. Mike, come up to my office after you’re done with check-ins.” Sam flashed him a self-satisfied smirk, taking pride in the thing he had created for the brand new line up. “I want you to be the first to see his design. I think you’ll appreciate the work I put into it.”
“Will do, boss-man,” Michael replied with an overzealous salute. He was desperately trying not to laugh, his movements seeming a bit manic for no apparent reason. It was simultaneously so ironic and entertaining that Mike already knew about the Glamrock Foxy model in a more intimate way than anyone but its AI would ever get to. He'd have to explain—and apologize on everyone's behalf—to Sam later this evening why the fox had disappeared from its hidden storage and “free roamed” over the weekend...
But even though they'd been bonded for the better part of twenty-four hours, Michael still hadn't gotten to meet Foxy's programmed personality like he'd done when hitching a ride with Freddy. A flush of childlike excitement filled his eyes as he thought of meeting what was sure to be the friendliest iteration of the fox to date. He had a few more things to do first, though.
“So it's back to the security office after this, right?” Michael asked Sophie, not intending to rush her but simply to indicate he'd like to get a move-on now that they'd confirmed they were still alive and well (to Sam's satisfaction, at least).
Sam may have given him a cockeyed glance. Michael's sudden bursts of mania usually meant there was something strange afoot. Though with nothing else to go by, he departed with an equally ironic salute to his two guards. With Sophie's attention back fully to Mike and her job, she grinned.
“You want to go see the Fox, huh?” she asked almost teasingly. Before he could answer her, seriously or otherwise, she raised her phone from her pocket and checked the time. “Yep—so looking around everywhere, if you're not distracted, should take about an hour.”
It was time to head on back to the main office. Sophie made conversation as she led them back to home base. “I don't blame you, though. You're lucky to be helping Sam work on those things. And I mean you... made it so far; so to speak. He must want your opinion on it as a mechanic.”
Clearly Sophie had paid attention to their introductions during the meeting and was fairly aware of the vast number of safety protocols they normally need for doing work on an animatronic.
Michael's enthusiastic smile slipped into one that was a little more subdued as he followed after his new coworker.
“Well, unlike most franchises, the owners of Fazbear Entertainment have always been rather hands-on,” he said. Contrary to his chipper personality moments before, Michael's tone was relatively flat. Not wanting her to perceive this as him being haughty, he was quick to add: “I learned a lot from my predecessors; probably more than ever wanted to know, honestly.”
He gave a short laugh, rubbing the back of his neck. “But it's definitely useful when animatronics go on the fritz like they did this weekend. I really don't mind helping out with that sort of stuff if anyone ever needs it. To be honest, it can get kind of boring sitting in that security office all night...”
Not that I want any action—PLEASE let things stay calm for the foreseeable future... Michael silently prayed to whoever was listening.
Sophie nodded, taking in what he said. It would probably be useful to listen to him about the history of this place given how vested he was in the company from what she assumed was a young age. He was related to the original owners, too.
“Tell me about it. For the most part, the band and everyone else reminds people to behave. The day shift is here pretty much for making sure dads don't get into fights at Monty Golf and throw a putter through the set props...,” Sophie remarked so specifically, one would probably think she was speaking for a real experience. “But usually people behave. Unless they want to get shaken down by a bunch of giant robotic animals dressed like the Twisted Sister front-man...”
“Mm, yeah, I'd hate to be on any of those robots' bad sides,” Michael responded with a little hum. His eyes shifted around, unable to stay on Sophie for a moment as the previous weekend flashed through his mind in rapid succession. Oh how far those animatronics had come from their dirty, broken shambles as they chased down an innocent child with the intent of ripping him apart limb by limb...
A small shiver ran through his body, though Michael ignored this as they stepped into the safety of the central hub yet again. He stretched out his arms with a sigh, then plopped down in one of the swivel chairs and used the momentum to do a 360-degree spin, braking with his foot to grin up at Sophie.
“Thanks for showing me around,” he told her, already stealing a glance at the security feeds as was habit. When there was a set of monitors and live camera feeds in front of him, Michael had to watch them. Managing to reign in his gaze, he leaned casually back in the chair and looked to his coworker again. “I'll be sure to reach out if I need while I adjust to things around here.”
“No problem! I look forward working with you, Mike,” Sophie replied with a thumbs-up, before grabbing her coat from one of the storage lockers. Her footsteps disappeared down the hallway while Michael's phone buzzed in his back pocket. Charlie had been trying to reach him through text. There were several photo attachments.
Mike it's Charlie. How do you use clippers?
Like the electric ones for hair
OK I figured it out never mind.
OK maybe not. duck
I meant Duck not duck
The texts became decreasingly verbose as Charlie panicked. Then, there was an album, a photographic progression of a haircut Charlie was apparently giving to Gregory. There was hair everywhere as a shaggy mullet was now cut into the kid’s head. He stood on the bathroom sink, glaring into the camera as Charlie took pictures of him. She eventually figured out how to take a selfie in the ending photo, managing to get the boy to smile after styling the old school cut.
“No fucking way,” Michael chuckled to himself as he scrolled through the pictures. They were ridiculous, the lot of them...
Out of all potential hairstyles, she'd gone with a mullet? Well, it'd certainly be hard for the Smiths to recognize Gregory at first glance, that's for sure. Plus, Michael couldn't deny his soft spot for the style... Pulling up the virtual keypad, he typed a response as quick as his fingers would go.
Sorry, was getting a tour from Sophie; all done now. Gregory looks adorable... don't tell him I said that
I'm hanging out for a bit then coming back w/a surprise... be there in 1-2 hours, & we can go to the Pizzaplex together for night shift later
With that Michael slipped his phone back in his pocket, though he'd barely gotten to roll his chair into the prime camera-watching position before it buzzed again.

How security breach takes a part of this au (like, after the fire) how the animatronics are??
How glitchtrap makes vanessa to be his follower??
(I really like your art style, i enjoy the way you draw stitches, claws and teeth its really nice)
It is okay i ask for a tutorial??
Im sorry if am asking too much of you
soo about the claws, stictches, teeth,etc- i cant really give any valuable advice since i just mess around making those and dont realky think about it- but i will say it could be more beneficial to add those deatails AFTER rendering rather than before, but it also depends on artstyle
So anyways-
while william’s body burnt- his spirit never really left. Well it did, but it landed in the ucn world which is equivalent to willaims own hell. He managed to escape and is more more determined that ever to avoid perishing as much as possible again. Vanessas his biological grandaughter from an affair he had years back. He knew about vans existance beforehand but never really acknowledged her up until this moment because she is his last hope to come back to the world again (he does not see michael as reliable)- so he starts to haunt her, put ideas in her head that its her destiny to continue his legacy. Burntrap is a botched creation van is meant to create for william to give him a new ohysical body- but for the time being she allows him to posses her, which is where vanny comes in
vanny has killed all the victims who become rockstars, all so that william can have new employees. She also kills victims for spare parts in creating the body of burntrap. now she wants to kill gregory because afton is convinced gregory will be able to take the place of his dead son evan (crying child)
this is where michael and sammy come in. After many years of deeming his dad to be insane after he insisited charlie was still around, sammy has finally started to believe henry after henry showed him mari’s puppet mask and the remains of the ffps fire. Michael and sammy work together to monitor the new building and what vanny is up to. Afton does not remember sammy, which gives sammy the advantage to pose as an employee who is oblivious to whats going on behind the scenes, just so he can get more intel for michael. Mike cant do it himself because vanny would recognize him and ruin his plans. sammys an investigator first and foremost, and the whole reason he and mike are working together is not because of afton- but because molten (now blob) is still on the loose and they want to get rid of him to ensure that every single victim is set free. Little do they know what lies ahead.

Introducing…ROBBIE! (Usually goes by as Robin)
Here’s his lore doc
(Art was by someone via discord comission)
Extra info:
He possesses lolbit (explanation is in the next post if this blows up like how Markus did)
He’s Evans best friend! Though in gym class he and Fritz make the perfect dodge ball duo.
His family lives in an trailer-ish house.
Ref:
Tumblr media
He sprays cinnamon on cheese pizza much to Evan’s disgust
His family has to split tv time since they only have on tv . So when his time is up Robin listens to radio podcast in his room, usually ones telling stories or conspiracy theories. (He believes 93% of them)
Other than hating he’s an only child robins is quite literally just happy to be who he is.
Relationships:
Evan: when he and his family first moved in Robin met him while exploring the neighborhood. For a few days they didn’t interact much but when Robin heard Evan’s dad owned fredbears (which for what he knew as an arcade) he immediately started asking Evan questions thinking he was the coolest kid around. Eventually, due to Robin constantly picking to hang out with Evan they grew closer as friends. (Robin is possibly the only person other than Elizabeth to think Evan is cool)
Michael: he doesn’t like him. He’s mean to Evan and sometimes insults Robin for defending him, but Robin gets payback for Evan by prancing Micheal. Mike sees Robin more as an annoyance if anything.
William: William thinks Robin is very uhh…well…Dumb. (He isn’t completely wrong) A son from a family of hippies? Hanging with his son whose father is a successful buisness owner?? He doesn’t see Robin as a good influence AT ALL. Especially given how Robin pulls pranks on his other two children and his customers from time to time. (Robin dosent know William hates him. In fact he thinks William enjoys his company)
Elizabeth: he does not want her doing his hair again. But other than forced makeovers and tea parties , he sees her as someone who can get him out of trouble when he pushes mikes buttons too much.
Fritz: they met in gym class when they were the only ones left on the team during a game of dodgeball. The two used their lack of common sense and more of their sporty skills to win the round for a piece of candy. The other teams can never beat these two when they’re paired. Fritz has his own friend group but is very welcoming to Robin.
Henry: Robin and Evan reminds him of how he and William were when they were younger.
Cassidy: he pranked her in 5th grade during recess, She’s held a grudge…
HIS CREATION:
I made robin around 2019-early 2020 on Roblox. People were doing afton family rp and I wanted to join as an original character, so I made my avatar look like a kid and named him “Robin” (name based off of some Lego character I saw in a show on Cartoon Network) I liked this Robin character so much that I made a picrew of him and did some gacha club stuff with the picrew used as reference. Eventually I redesigned him and some friends drew him, he’s went through so many backstory changes over the years but this is the one that’s prevents sticking.
FINALE NOTE: He is no way based off of Gregory despite the similar appearance and personality. I’ve made him long before Gregory’s concept was a thing so I just wanna point that out.

I was wondering if Gregory exists in your Fazbear Estate AU,if that is the case, what is the reaction of the Freddys towards Gregory and vice versa?
You know, I've been debating this issue internally for quite some time now. I did want Gregory in my AU, but I wasn't sure what his role would be.
However, after thinking a lot about it recently - mainly due to this ask - I think I found the perfect spot for Gregory.
Yes, Gregory does exist. He's the adopted son of Michael Afton and his husband, Jeremy Fitzgerald. Gregory even has a sister, also adopted, but until the Ruin DLC is released, I don't know her name yet.
Gregory was adopted when he was a baby. Michael and Jeremy were in their 40's when this happened; now they're in their early 50's and Gregory is currently 9 years old. Michael and Jeremy would have adopted children sooner, but life kept getting in the way, especially for Michael with all the work he did for Fazbear Entertainment.
Gregory is more or less the same personality-wise in this AU as he is in Security Breach. The only major difference is that this Gregory has a loving human family looking out for him and nobody's trying to kill him. Also, since he grew up around a lot of Michael's work, he sees the animatronics of Fazbear Entertainment as extended family members. Would he scrap one of them if they tried to kill him? Oh, totally, without a second thought! He just doesn't want to have to think about that possibility because he loves them so much.
The Freddys at Fazbear Estate have all met Gregory before, as the boy does occasionally visit Fazbear Estate with Michael. They, along with the other animatronics, first met him as a baby, along with his sister. ALL the animatronics were in love with the two babies, and were so happy for Mike, who they all watched grow up from various points in his life, for becoming a dad. The Freddys in particular were pretty emotional, since they're all programmed to be father figures. Even Funtime Freddy, who's more of a silly uncle than a dad, was a bit weepy.
Later that same day, Michael took his new children to the Pizzaplex to meet the animatronics there. Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex had originally been Michael's idea. The Glamrocks? Also him. The Daycare Attendant - okay, that wasn't his idea. That was his sister's idea. He has no clue who came up with DJMM-- ANYWAY.
Michael was very excited to introduce the Pizzaplex's animatronics to his new babies. The animatronics, in turn, were excited and honored that Michael was letting them HOLD the babies.
Roxanne and Glamrock Chica, predictably, gushed over how cute the infants were.
Glamrock Bonnie, who was still functioning at the time, also thought they were adorable, and offered to teach Michael some dad jokes now that he'd earned the right to tell them.
Montgomery was a bit scared of the babies at first, because he didn't want to hurt them. Michael reassured him, however, and Monty ended up holding both babies in his arms. Monty stared down at them for a long time before he suddenly started crying. "THEY'RE JUST SO TINY! AND CUTE! IT'S MAKING ME FEEL THINGS! I NEED TO GO PUNCH A WALL SO I CAN FEEL MANLY AGAIN!"
DJMM played soft, happy music in response to the babies.
The Daycare Attendant was gushing even harder than Roxanne and Chica over the babies. He'd never gotten to hold a baby that was so young before. He was so... SO gentle and soft-spoken around baby Gregory and his sister. Even though he was just a stranger to them, it was clear he loved them almost as much as Michael did.
And finally... Glamrock Freddy. First, he met Gregory's sister. Glamfred couldn't stop complimenting how beautiful and adorable she was. Then Michael handed him Gregory.
"Hello, Gregory! I am Freddy Fazbear! It is nice to meet you!"
Gregory looked up at Glamfred... and smiled at him. Glamfred saw this and... well, he didn't have a physical heart, but he definitely had one in spirit, because it was melting.
Glamfred suddenly started singing to baby Gregory. His voice was low, soft, and soothing. Just a song he'd heard from one of the technicians who'd worked on him in Parts and Services, an old one, definitely not the usual glam rock fare. Michael quietly took out his phone and recorded Glamrock Freddy gently rocking baby Gregory and singing "Lullabye in Ragtime".
To this day, Glamrock Freddy has a very special bond with Gregory. They don't get to see each other as often as they'd like, but they consider each other family and are very good friends! The other Freddys think Gregory is a joy to be around, and are a bit jealous of how close Glamfred is with him. Gregory, on his part, likes to joke that he has a massive collection of dads, and he's only going to keep adding to it! All joking aside, he feels pretty lucky.

I think my ask got eaten by tumblr so I'm gonna try again:
Since Michael was largely unable to talk and Gregory and CC were asleep, is Henry at all aware of who Gregory is? Does he think that Michael kidnapped a child? Does he think William straight up hid CC's twin from him? Heck, does he think William figured out cloning technology?
(Also, speaking of Gregory and Michael: What exactly is their relation in your AU? I've seen some posts referring to Michael as Gregory's dad, but I am unclear on if that's in a protecting adoptive father figure way, or if Michael is actually biologically his dad.)
Henry is gonna ask Gregory directly about stuff
Tumblr media
He won’t get a lot of information tho :C but that’s ok :>
Mike is going to be Gregory’s adoptive father figure like glamrock freddy is :0c as much as I love the theory of him being his actual son it’d make more sense that he’s his grandfather instead TTwTT and I want them to be father and son so found family it is !

POV: you were so bored, fed up and anxiety-ridden in class that you start doodling on a spare paper you had non-stop without realising.
I really like the GlamMike and Dad Mike theory. And Gregory is literally a 2-3 year old in my AU (& not a Killer germling-)
Aye- I just drew my Security breach AU along side some other stuff like:
Child endangerment, Gregory and Cassie Big sister-younger brother relationship, Daycare attendants taking care of Gregory, Glamrock Freddy trying his best to keep his killer germling of a Faz son safe, Michael bullying Vanessa by saying "Wyte Woman" (yes- I used the word "Wyte" instead of "White"), Vanessa being fed up with his bullcrap, and of course, almost dead or heavily injured Gregory etc.
But look! Who's back again? After heck of a long time- apologise for that- andd please don't kill meh Rae-

@moon42sstuff i am vibrating intensely great question.
Short answer is this a Gregory is Michael’ biological son au.
Tumblr media
With some characters from fnaf three. Well the crew necessary for fazbears frights,
From left to right we have i swear its a skin condition mike iggs ashton. Gregory ashton also answers to little shit, scott phillips, also known as fnaf 3’s phone guy. Ben moray, the resident hyperfixated on robots neurodivergent who managed to miss a whole ass dead guy in the spring bonnie suit. And melissa andrews the braincell of those three.
For the longest time they didn’t know mike was Michael afton, then molten freddy appeared and tried to strangle scott, and stopping after recognizing Michael, which untangles his web of lies in front of him.
So time passes and Michael is fully back established. And then he had a kid and called melissa at 3 am in panic.
Tumblr media
Hence this meme
So time passes and they have a great idea to fuck with a revitalizing fazbear entertainment. The group makes the in universe games.
I will talk more if asked but this post is getting long, just know Gregory doesn’t know his dad made the popular games or that his dad is Michael afton.
He does have molten freddy as a badly hidden pet.
Have the next batch of memes

Shifted Nights Part 9
He found himself staring at a darkened ceiling. The first thing he truly felt in his own body was the soft cushioning of a bed on his back. His bare back. Where was he, again?
He forced his head to turn, earning a few loud pops. His gaze slowly floated from on object to another, slowly naming each one in his head as he goes along.
Nighstand, lamp, beanbag, filing cabinet...
His head turned with his gaze. As he slowly blinked back to conciousness, he realized he could smell something baking (how he could smell without a nose was something he could never understand).
Drawers, flower pot, mirror, lockbox...
The ringing in his ears slowly died down, only to leave the gentle hum of voices in another room.
Chair, door, lightswitch, stool...
His mouth tasted sour. He realized that he hadn't eaten anything since the improvised dinner with Evan and Henry.
Closet doors, drawers, suitcase, picture frame...
Jeremy.
Jeremy and Fritz.
And Gregory.
Right.
He looked back at the ceiling and drew in a deep breath. The room was only lit by the light trickling in from the ajar bedroom door. He slowly sat up, adjusting to his surroundings. He looked down at his body.
He was mostly unclothed. Whoever moved him must've taken him out of his work clothes (with good reason, no one wants germs in their bed). He raised his arms and interlocked his hands behind his head, pushing his chest out. His spine crackled dismally, but it felt relieving. God, he was stiff.
He shifted and swung his legs over the side of the bed, standing, (against the protests of his crying joints) and stretching again. He let out a content sigh. He circled the bed and layed the suitcase on the floor, picking a t-shirt and a pair of grey sweatpants off the top. He slipped into the new clothes, pulled on a pair of black socks, and headed out of the room, almost shambling the whole way.
Jeremy stood, leaned against the kitchen island. Fritz stood with his back to him, stirring something on the stove. Gregory and Helpy sat side-by-side, watching cartoons on a small, vintage tv. The sun outside was long past the horizon, instead the outdoors being lit by the city lights.
Michael wordlessly strolled over and leaned against the counter next to Jeremy, gently blinking a few times.
"Hey! Y-You're up! How do y-you feel?"
He shrugged. "I'm alright."
Fritz tapped his wooden spoon against the pot and set it to the side.
"So uh.." The redhead turned around. "What happened, man?"
"Oh, uh...." Michael shrugged again. "Just....I dunno, honestly. It's been happening a lot more recently."
Jeremy gave him a worried glance, but had his attention torn away by Gregory climbing onto a bar stool and sitting on the counter.
"G-gregory, g-get down."
"Michael are you gonna be my third dad?"
"Gregory Raiden Fitzgerald!" Fritz gasped lightly in awe.
"What?"
Jeremy laughed. "I-I'm sorry about him."
"Its fine." Michael smiled. "You named your son after a Metal Gear character?"
"Its the name of the Japanese god of thunder and lightning." Fritz hummed.
Michael raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah, we named him after a Metal Gear character." Fritz sighed gently, smiling.
Gregory crawled over the counter and poked Michaels arm. "You didn't answer my question."
"Uhm.."
"G-gregory, seriously."
"Whaaaaaat? I wanna knooooooooww!!"
"I-I dont know, buddy." Michael simply resorts to patting the boy's head.
Gregory huffed. "No one gives me a straight answer in this house."
"Y-you say th-that like y-you pay rent." Jeremy clicked his tongue and smiled.
The rest of the night went on smoothly; dinner, a few rounds of games, then bed.
Since his clothes were already in the room, Fritz and Jeremy invited Mike to sleep in their room; the three had slept together frequently in highschool, when Jeremy was too high to drive home from band practice or Mike didnt want to go home, so it wasn't unusual for them.
So, for the first time since highschool, Michael slept smooshed between his two best friends.
A/N: Im back! Finally! Im sorry this one may not be as good a the others, i tried to tweak it but it just never came out right.
