the spiderverse brainrot is real so have some hcs (mainly gender/sexuality but some backstory shit thrown in there)

Miles: thought he was straight but is more bi-curious now

-hes got some pretty serious anxiety/depression stuff going on

-and his parents and friends try to be super supportive

-so he's slowly working through it

Gwen: -she is transfem y'all! her big speeh to her dad was literally in the trans flag colors

-shes also bi!

-part of the reason her relationship with her dad was so strained was because he tried to be supportive with her gender identity but they didn't always see eye-to-eye on it at first and she never fully forgave him

-shes also has Some Shit (tm) going on but didn't want to ask her dad for a therapist or doctor, but her friends help <3

Pav: -he/they pronouns because gender! also he's pan because he just. loves. everyone!!

-hes adhd and uses spider-ing as a way to let out energy

-parents just figured he was an active kid before he was bitten but he was struggling to be more "normal" all the time

-part of the reason why being Spider-Man is so great for him is because it actually improved his life a lot more since he can let out his energy now

Hobie: -gay ass right there. but he also uses any pronouns because fuck societal gender norms!

-the others are pretty chill about most stuff but he's reluctant to tell them a lot about his past

-when he was younger he came out to his mom who made his life hell after he told her

-he finally ran away when he was 16 (I hc him to be almost 18 in the movie) but has had trouble finding a place to stay ever since

-sometimes he crashes at HQ although Miguel doesn't know that. if he didn't he would just be on the streets since he doesn't really have any friends other than the spider kids.

-hes also autistic and goes non-verbal sometimes- another reason why he had a hard time (I haven't read his comics so I know jackshit about his past so I'm just headcanoning that his mom was a single mom okay), she didn't have a lot of time so he was kind of just left to do whatever he wanted for a while and it didn't really become obvious until he got older

-he does know BSL for when he goes non-verbal but it's not the most useful since most of his friends are American, so he just tries to hide when it happens and text them instead. he hasn't told them that he goes non-verbal yet

I got some others for Miguel, Gayatri, peni, noir, Margo, etc. but it's late so I'll do them in the morning lmao

I didn’t know they reconciled(besties…I haven’t finished the anime and read a singular volume of the manga😞) Anywho I think this is such an adorable idea especially seeing as it would imply Tobio looks up to oikawa even after so long(I’m pretty sure he does idk besties like I said I’m not up to date😭)

Tw- pregnant reader, Tobio fears parenthood and is nervous idk let me know if I missed anything!!

When Tobio found out you were pregnant, he was scared he’ll be honest, he thought he was going to be a bad dad. But never once did he think of leaving you, he just generally tried to avoid talking about the baby.

So of course as your due date pushed closer and closer, Tobio decided to take things into his own hands.

One night he oh so quietly crept out of bed, of course you felt the bed rise noticeably and woke up but before you could ask where he was going he was already out the door.

He’d sat down in the living room before calling Oikawa, he’d told him before hand he needed to talk with him at around 1 in the morning and without complaint Oikawa agreed he knew it must have been important.

“Listen…you’re a dad” Tooru nods its very clearly still daytime where he’s staying, Tobio stares at himself in the little box on face time and he thinks finds himself thinking he looks like a mess of course Tobio would be the one to be a bad dad.

“I…I don’t know how to be a dad” he rushes out and watches as Oikawa’s eyebrows furrow…does he think he knew how?

“Tobio…” he lets out a little sigh, he thought this conversation could have gone much more worse, “I don’t think anyone knows how to be a parent the first time, it’s normal to be nervous. There’s nothing wrong with fearing the unknown but you want to get to know your baby right?”

He nods, “well than you have to spend time with her before she gets here! It’s less scary that way, it’ll help explain why you feel as if you’ve known your baby for forever”

And Tobio took his advice to heart. He was right to, when you’d placed your little girl on his chest and he’d watched he big blue eyes stare up into his matching ones it did feel like they’d been old friends lost with time.

Truly you knew Tobio was nervous, but no matter the times you’d try and tell him he’d do ok and that you were nervous to he couldn’t seem to listen properly, but you’re glad that he could listen to someone.

Emmy, they are all menaces! Akaashi is going THROUGH IT when it comes to available babysitters.Bokuto is a clumsy gigant, Konoha is a enabler that pimps out his kid and Yukie...well, she's mostly harmless when there's no tea party involved.

(There was an incident where baby Akaashi naively offered the cookie platter to Yukie thinking she'd do the same thing daddy does when hes invited to the tea parties, munch on it slowly, as a well-mannered noble. Instead, Yukie inhaled all the cookies like a starving angry dragon. It was a whole thing and baby Akaashi now refrains from inviting her for tea time)

The heavens finally open up for Akaashi Keiji when, after having to bring his baby along to work with him, they stop to have lunch at his favorite onigiri shop. And lo and behold, the Onigiri man himself is at the counter with a baby propped on his hip too (hello, baby tsumu is the #1 helper of Onigiri Miya. She gets her own employee of the month plaque and all.)

Anyway, baby Miya and baby Akaashi become friends really quickly during Keiji's lunch time, which is kind of a nice surprise to Osamu (look that girl's father is Atsumu, no way that Samu isn't gonna worry about his niece's socialization skills!). When its time to bid their goodbyes, both men feel their hearts breaking at the sight of teary eyed babies hugging each other, so Osamu asks Akaashi to let his baby stay for the rest of the day, this way the way the girls can enjoy each others conpany a little more. Osamu assures him, that since his brother had a emergency that required Osamu's last minute babysitting service, he's not really doing much work for that day anyway, just supervising staff & going over a few things in his office — where baby Miya has her own desk, with crayons, stickers, and books full of pictures to color, and she's excited to share with her new friend! And because this much better than what Keiji gets with his own babysitters back in Tokyo, he agrees.

At the end of the day, Akaashi stops by a closed onigiri miya to pick up his baby, and when Osamu leads him to the office in back of the shop, Keiji is greeted by the loveliest sight. On a small couch Osamu keeps in the corner of the office, the two girls ar4 fast asleep next to each other, sharing a blanket and holding hands, and Keiji notices how they have matching nail polish.

This is the most peaceful Keiji ever felt after a babysitting service, and he can't even begin to thank Osamu enough, but he will at least try to convey his gratitude. Is not untill he turns arounds to speak Osamu, that he fully takes in the state the man is in. There is glitter stickers glued all over his face, crooked attemps at braids poking out of his black baseball cap and... is that blue eyshadow under his left eyebrow?

just realised that despite being the resident meme maker, the only other contribution I have made to your page is the time I sent in pictures of my lil knitted bee (a small but necessary interaction) so I am seeking to rectify that by sending in a live action headcanon that I have. (this is probably gonna be a long post) I have severe brainrot for the haikyuu boys as dads and I am now making it your problem.

Option 1 - Stepfather edition using bokuto as an example

You are yn (you are incredibly lucky) and you have a son who is OBSESSED with volleyball. You know very little about it but as a good parent, you obviously support his interests 😊👍. So when he asks you if he can go to a volleyball match you agree happily. Cut to you and your son watching an MSBY game. Your son is thrilled, you're thrilled that he's thrilled, everything is fine. Until its not.

The game is finished and your son is nowhere to be seen and you are in the lobby panicking. Your son has decided that he really wants to meet his idols, so he runs over to the area where they are meeting people. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people trying to talk to them as well and with all the pushing and shoving, he gets knocked to the floor. (which is no joke, terrifying to me. The idea of getting trampled on by a crowd is scary as fuck) Luckily, Bokuto notices, because of course he does, and parts the crowd to pick him up before any damage is done (we all breathe a deep sigh a relief).

Now is your son shaken up? Yes. But is he super worried about the fact he nearly just got trampled to death? Not as much as he should be. However he is your son and he knows how to work a situation to his advantage. Cue him crying and whining so he gets special attention from the volleyball players. It works and Bokuto is now doing everything in his power to cheer your son up. Honestly just try to tell me that he isn't good with kids. Is he responsible? No. Is he fun? Absolutely!

You have now located your son by his high pitched sobs and have shoved your way through the crowds to get to your son (because you are just that strong and badass). After confirming that your son is okay (his crying has mysteriously stopped) you turn to thank the person who saved your son and ... Suddenly you are a lot more interested in volleyball 😏. Bokuto is trying not to to stare at you and failing and trying not to to call you a MILF and succeeding (oikawa could take some lessons from that). Akaashi always told him good rewards come from good deeds and it seems he was right (as always). In this case the reward comes in being thanked by a beautiful woman.

Now you leave soon after (and very nearly trigger an emo mood from Bokuto) but on the car ride home, you did agree to take your son back for the next game, as long as he doesn't leave your side. He agrees and you two are first in line for the next meet and greet, which Bokuto is very happy about. As you are about to leave, he hands you a piece of paper with his number on it. (i want to cry, i wish i was yn) Cut to like 8 years or so in the future and your son is playing in his first volleyball match at Fukurodani and Bokuto is alternating between sobbing onto your shoulder and yelling 'thats my son!' at the top of his lungs every time he spikes a ball.

Uhh so that was longer then I was planning on. I'll do the second part in a separate ask but I hoped that was ok :)

Ok back up 🤚🏻 this is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE 😍🥺 seriously! I laughed and was like "awe Bokuto 🥺" the entire time!

I 1000% agree with this Bokuto! He's so amazing with kids because essentially, he is a child 🤣 He's going to try and be the "cool dad" and he very much succeeds at it!

And the fact that you in Oikawa slander killed me 😭 and our lovely Bokuto remember advice his junior gave him! Please tell Bokuto wouldn't put that in his wedding vows because he would 🤣

I think everyone can agree Bokuto would be one of the best parents in the HQ world. He would be at every sport event, recital, spelling bee, you name it! And if he couldn't make it, he would make his partner record it. Also tell me he wouldn't make a stuffed doll of himself for his kids to cuddle with every night 🤚🏻 he also would FaceTime everybedtime to read stories.

I cam also picture Bokuto being a high school volleyball coach 🤣 like imagine that for just a second if you will

follow up to this post.

one of Osamu's favourite things to do with his baby is to put on the baby harness across his chest and strap in his little tot while he while he works.

he'll be at the shop, hands working on molding an onigiri for a customer with his baby strapped in, the little guy bouncing and babbling away in nonsense. his customers are delighted at the sight - a young man unabashedly being a father while at work.

the middle-aged ladies ask him questions and shower in compliments: "how many months old is he?" "my what a handsome little boy! he definitely takes after he father now, doesn't he!" "make sure to cherish this while you still can. they don't stay small for long!" the younger customers comment here and there: "ah he's so cute!" "miya-san you're so young I never expected you to be a father!"

sometimes Osamu will have full conversations with the tyke, feeding him bits of ingredients while developing new recipes. a small piece of pulled pork earned him a disapproving look on his baby's face, which was promptly spat out. "alright, you're right buddy. pulled pork doesn't go with pickled radish.. maybe we should try something else."

Atsumu will bring his baby to his matches even before the little one can walk.

they sit courtside, a special seat reserved just for her. his princess already steals the spotlight, dressed in a baby sized MSBY Jackals onesie, with baby paws to match. she is his #1 cheerleader, his favourite fan.

Atsumu always runs back to high-five his baby after a winning set. Unbridled laughter; he is almost certain she doesn't understand what's going on, but the sheer joy in her eyes and the tiny applause she claps with her smile is all he needs to keep his A game on.

after winning the game, numerous selfies and photos are taken as they celebrate victory with the team. Atsumu posts his favourite ones all over his socials. a shot of he and his princess surrounded by confetti - he has her on his shoulders as she tries to catch a glittery party streamer. a shot of bokuto and hinata, trying to coax a high five from her but failing miserably. there's even a shot of sakusa kneeling down to greet her, a small smile on his face as if agreeing with something she babbled. the post is captioned "we won the championship but I think this little one's the real winner here ❤"

My Ao3 review of the year!

It is here once again, the fics of the year, by yours truly, somewhat sorted by theme, date and series:

One shots and drabbles:

My Hero Wikipedia (6k): Starting off strong, the fic I have with the most kudos, hits, and that has been added to the most collections... It's just my friend's Crack idea of what would happen if Deku wrote Wikipedia pages of different pro heroes with weirdly accurate facts.

The chains that bind us to shore (16k): A late bday gift for Dabi. I had sudden DH pirate AU brainrot, so here it is. Ft the LOV as a pirate crew, Dabi as the ex Prince Touya of Aradella, and Hawks as his loyal royal guard. And complete with a pirate Playlist.

The League of Gossip (1k): Basically Dabi comes in carrying a very bruised Hawks to the LOV HQ, which results in the League spying on them.

The caged bird (1k): Yet another vent piece of Hawks. Just some hurt/comfort with a happy ending.

The Todoroki Rei protection squad (formerly known as the League of Villains) (5k): The League kidnaps Rei to mess with Endeavor. Gains the truth about Dabi's identity and a mom instead.

A pyro and a bunny walk into a fight... (3k): Dabi and Miruko's super chaotic friendship, as told from the moment they met as kids until they reunite as adults. Again, super chaotic.

I know my Shinso is a witch (2k): modern witch Shinso, and the adventures of him joining class 1A. Very self indulgent, mainly wrote this bc I am a witch and I saw a Tiktok about witch Shinso so. Look out for the Tarot Callouts and all hail Mooncake.

What do you know, it's MORE The Dragon Verse fics, this time sorted by both Crack and 'Canon' (Aka my AU where Dabi and Hawks have kid, Ryu)

A little bird told me (2k)(Crack): Alternate version to another fic of mine, 'The mysterious case of Hawks' boyfriend' where his sidekicks at his agency find out Hawks has a boyfriend, this time told by them finding out through Hawks' son that 1) He has a son. 2) The dad may or may not be Dabi. Ft a poor Tokoyami who is so tired of questions.

Ryu Takami's guide to getting a significant other (11k)(Canon): What the title says, Ryu finally gets a Canon SO after like a year of him existing lmao. I love Alex so much BTW, and I'm a sucker for Ryu and Alex's relationship now. (Alternative title: Ryu somehow scores a hot nb latino, his poor heart is not prepared).

White bird, why can't you fly? (multichapter fic, still ongoing)(Technically an AU of my AU): My piece for the Hawks bang! An AU where the HPSC creates Ryu without Dabi and Hawks' knowledge. Hawks finds out once Ryu is a teenager that he exists and he's been trained by the HPSC all this time, so he gets him out. DH learning how to be the parents of an awkward teenager and said teenager learning how does it feel to have a family and not be treated like a soldier. Ft some bomb illustrations by my awesome parter Blanc <3

Yet another DabiHawks series. This time, with 'secret' marriage.

The adventures of one particular married couple. (2k): First part of the series, where Hawks and Dabi are secretly married, but thanks to Dabi getting arrested and him getting a concussion, secrets are spilled. Ft Dabi dramatically flipping off Endeavor while he breaks out of an interrogation cell.

The poor life choices of one particular married couple. (3k): Once again, secrets are spilled. This time by Fuyumi and Miruko. Ft a very angry Miruko because wdym Hawks is married and she wasn't invited to the wedding?

The (almost public) mayhem caused by one particular married couple. (5k): last part of the series where Dabi decides 'fuck it' and shows up in disguise to a Hero Gala in order to surprise Hawks. The public has questions.

Oh my, a Shiggy-centric series??

Single dad Shigaraki? It's more likely than you think. (5k): Shiggy finds a scared little girl with a destructive quirk that reminds him a little too much about himself, so he takes her with him. In Dabi's words 'she's already adopted you, you're a dad now.' bc we need more dad Shiggy in this Fandom. Stan Hanako Shimura for clear skin.

The aftermath of spontaneous adoption (5k): So, Shigaraki is a dad. What now? How do you keep a life of crime while also being a single dad? Shigaraki makes some decisions and we see the aftermath of them. Ft Shoto casually being a menace to poor Izuku's brain and everyone loving Hanako.

At last, something that isn't DabiHawks. Bakudeku time.

Katsuki and Izuku's guide to find your Soulmate when you're dense as fuck. (4k): Something I did last year for a secret Santa in a server I'm in. What if they were pro heroes? And fake dated? But they're actually Soulmates, they just don't know? Jk... Unless 👀

And that's it for this year! Yet another year without finishing my Ryu and Hawks' bday gift fic but oh well.
