-𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 || 𝐂.𝐄
Pairing: dad!husband!chris x reader
Content warning: fluff, mentions of sex
Word count: 1.1k
A/n: After literal months of not posting for Chris, I give you this sweet little bit<3 masterlist
Tumblr media
Cries. The thing I dreaded most at two in the morning. It was either a messy diaper or hunger.
“Babyyy,” Chris groaned.
“Don’t baby me, it’s your turn.”
The bed squeaked followed by the heavy pattings of his feet. He grumbled something under his breath but I was too tired to even bother to listen.
Eventually, the crying stopped and Chris’ light singing sparked through the baby monitor. My eyes shut and I hoped, hoped, hoped that I could reach the seven hours of sleep mark.
Tumblr media
A drooler was what our baby was, just like his father. He was up and smiling by the time I wiped away his dried saliva with a wipe. A change of diaper and a new bottle and he was set while I tried to cook breakfast— right after throwing a big tantrum.
It seemed all I remembered to cook was eggs. Chris got so tired of them that he started buying Raisin Bran (no amount of teasing was enough to convince him he was growing an old man).
“Coffee?”
I turned to look at Chris: dad slippers on, hair spiking everywhere, and more strands of grey on his beard than yesterday.
“Was just about to put it on.”
He hummed before kissing my lips. He went straight to our boy and smothered him with kisses until he whined.
“Why so cranky?! Just like your mother.” He said before bothering him with one more.
He began to cry and I gave Chris a look.
“I just want to love you, bud.” He picked him up from his seat, hushing him while he made his way to the pantry, taking out the Raisin Bran.
“I told you he doesn’t like to be smothered, he’s whiny in the mornings.”
“Yeah, yeah.” He brushed off. He poured his cereal. Our little baby babbled in his shoulder, lip still quivering from the small cry.
I always ignored the small back comments we gave each other. I know he doesn’t mean to be mean, he’s just tired. Like me. Sleep deprivation and waking up early does that to parents, it makes them cranky and moody.
The kettle started hissing. I immediately turned the stove off, poured out two cups and dropped one at the table where Chris now sat with our baby on his lap.
He played peek-a-boo with one hand, getting small smiles from our love. He’s so good with him (except when he forgets our love doesn’t like too many kisses). These past few months seem like a fever dream, too good to be true— maybe because of the lack of sleep.
There was shuffling, music, and shaking of those loud beads that drove me crazy at times. Our baby was giggling in his bouncer chair, jumping up and down at the sound of the small piano toy in front of him.
“Did he poop this morning?”
“Yeah, he did.”
Chris smiled. We were kind of running out of things to talk about. Our conversations were about baby or sex, no in between. First time parenting was difficult, and our stubbornness didn’t allow us to accept anymore help than we were given.
“I kinda miss dodge.” I said, scraping the last of my eggs off my plate.
“Kinda?” He sounded unconvinced, maybe even offended.
“Okay, a lot.” I admitted in a laugh. “Miss his stinky breath and those nights he’d split us up in bed.”
We had to let Scott take Dodger off our hands for a couple months, at least until our kid was old enough and we’d be able to manage the both of them. I knew Chris missed him, but we visited him almost every weekend to get rid of that grief.
He laughed. “I miss him too.”
He drank his milk and I got up to take his bowl before he stood.
“Can you change Bub’s diaper? I’ll wash the dishes.” I kissed his cheek. He nodded and sipped his coffee.
Hours upon hours, we sat back as our baby played with toys, crawled to corners we were too scared to let him close to, and put stuff in his mouth that he wasn’t supposed to.
Chris pulled away to take calls upstairs, meetings and all sorts of things for work. Sometimes I felt bad for pulling him away from his passion, but no matter how I try to reason with him, he states that our baby is the best thing that’s happened to him. I don’t question it at all.
My tired eyes don’t keep me away from seeing how much love Chris holds in his heart for our baby. It’s the type he’d get after coming home to dodger and i after being away for several months, only ten times stronger.
I hummed as I paced back and forth; baby on shoulder, and his babbling going quiet.
Spotting Chris from behind me, I raise my brows in question. Our one language we used when we tried to avoid waking this whiny baby up.
He smiled and nodded. “Knocked out.” He whispered.
I sighed and offered bub to his dad. He took him cautiously, and shushed him his whole way to the room.
Finally, after almost an hour of “sleepy music for baby’s”, I sat down and changed it to Gracie and Frankie. Even their jokes weren’t enough to keep me from falling asleep on the couch.
A hand ran over my shoulder, along with a blanket.
He kissed my head and told me he loved me.
“Chris-“ I held him back. He looked down at me with sleepy eyes. “Lay with me.”
He only gave me a tired smile, so obviously thinking of there was anything important he had to do before a break. He didn’t, or at least he didn’t care.
He turned on the baby monitor and put it beside the shut-off tv. Soon after, he carefully took his place beside me on the thin couch. He laid on his side, brushing soothing lines on my shoulders. My eyes stayed shut, too heavy to lift without me giving an effort.
“We need a getaway.” I mumbled. He laughed lightly before kissing my shoulder.
“That we do.”
“Like a real one, on the beach. Maybe the Hamptons?”
He let out a gut laugh at that, quickly muffling it in my shoulder. I couldn’t help but furrow my brows. I turned to face him and slowly opened my eyes.
“What’s wrong with the Hamptons?”
“Nothing, baby, nothing.” He cooed, kissing my forehead. “I just would’ve thought the Bahamas or Hawaii.” He smiled.
“Those sound good too.” I let my eyes close again. “I just miss fucking you.”
Then again, he laughed. My comfort.
“I do too.”
“Do too, what?” I yawned.
“Miss fucking you.” He kisses my forehead.
“I hope so.” I dug my head deeper into his chest, taking in every inhale and exhale, every beat of his heart, and the soft hums he let out.

Pairing: Chris Evans x reader

Chris Evans is a well-known name in Hollywood. Not only for his looks, his iconic role as Captain America, and his famous left boob grab, but the way he kept talking about you in all his interviews.
There was no denying that he was obsessed with you and even more since you carried his child. This obsession was even noticed by fans that they couldn't help but make a video about their favorite Marvel star.
Chris Evans loving on his pregnant wife for 20 minutes straight.
The trending internet video started with a clip of Chris in his famous white suit standing in front of the cameras at the knives out the premiere.
While everyone was screaming at him and trying to get his attention, his eyes were only locked on you, mesmerized by your beauty and making sure you were okay, that the baby was fine.
"Hey Chris, how are you? Good to see you." The voice of the extratv journalist was heard while she was shaking his hand.
"What was it like to be a part of it and work with the cast?" Her first question came immediately after the introduction and made Chris think for a few seconds.
" Uh, I-It was uh, very humbling, y'know a-a lot very talented people who've had uh very long career in this industry so, a lot to learn."
Just when the interviewer was going to shoot him with another question, Chris showed he was clearly not done with his answer.
"Also, also I would like to say that it meant a lot to my wife, Y/N, too." He pointed towards you, where you were standing next to his publicist, trying not to take his thunder away tonight with your very pregnant belly.
"Oh yeah, Y/N is also here tonight! Let's let her join in this interview too!"
Chris then waved the woman off "No, that's okay. She doesn't like this type of thing and I want to respect that. But yeah, she is the reason I accepted this-the job. She is, y'know- my wife is very into detective work and solving crimes so when the opportunity came I just-I had to take it to make her happy."
The next clip showed Chris yet with another interviewer, but this time he was sitting in front of her with Ana de Armas next to him.
"So first, I wanted to say congratulations to Chris. You and your wife are expecting a baby."
In an instant, a smile grew on his face, and he got excited since the conversation was his favorite topic.
"That's right, yeah." He said, with a smirk on his face and his pink in his mouth.
"So how does that feel, becoming a dad after waiting all those years?"
He answered the question with such ease, " It is exciting, but also intimidating, in a way." He started, "Just like you said the need- I wanted to have a family for so long, you think I would've mentally prepared myself, but it is nothing like that. You're scared, you're nervous, you-you constantly thinking if you're going to be a great dad, y'know? All these questions come up and make you more anxious than you already are but, thankfully I have Y/N, she-"
"Omg, she is amazing," Ana interrupted him.
Chris nodded immediately, agreeing with her statement.
"So amazing. I mean, honestly, without her, I think I would be lost. She is the best wife, the best friend, and I know she is going to be the best mother for our child. I-I don't know what I would do without her."
"That's so cute. I'm so happy for you, Chris."
The next clip was him in Massachusetts, on a set of Defending Jacob posing in front of the cameras with a bunch of fans.
"Man, when are you growing your hair back, we loved it in infinity war!" A man said while recording the encounters between Chris and his fans. He smiled and looked towards the guy who said: " I'm sorry but, the wife doesn't like it, so it's not gonna happen. Whatever she wants."
With that, he waved at the fans for the last time before going back to his trailer. He almost missed the guy's response:
"Never thought Captain America was gonna be pussy-whipped!"
Without turning back, Chris shouted back to him : "Why are you saying like it's a bad thing!"
Another video was added of him at the tonight show starring Jimmy Fallon.
"Did you-where you sad when you had to do the end-last scene?" Jimmy asked him after they started talking about the success of Avengers Endgame.
"Yeah, it was very emotional. I mean, it's emotional. These movies are a huge part of your life. And so, when they come to an end, it really it has an impact. But thankfully, I had my wife by my side who supported me throughout everything and, y'know, was there when I needed that extra emotional support."
"Speaking of your wife, Y/N, congratulations buddy she is pregnant!"
The whole crowd started cheering and clapping, Including Jimmy himself, and Chris could only smile and nod, showing how proud he was.
"Yeah, she is. We're expecting a child together, which sounds so odd when I say it because my dream I had for years finally became a reality."
The whole audience was awed, making Chris swoon.
"I am so happy for you pal, I truly am. So how far along is she?"
He looked in the air, thinking and making sure he was giving the right answers.
"She is- tomorrow she will be 7 months pregnant, yeah. Again, I couldn't be more excited about the whole thing. She is incredible. I mean literally, words don't even describe how much she means to me. I love her so much and can't wait to meet our baby."
"That's incredible news, buddy."
The final clip of the video was a self-recorded video Chris made to wish one of his fans a happy birthday.
"Hey Josh, it's me, Chris Evans. So your friends told me you turned 21, and I just wanted to say, have a happy birthday buddy. You're finally at the age that you can drink, at least legally, so go out and have a drink and enjoy it with your friends as much as you can. I would've joined you guys, but y'know, the missus is pregnant and we don't want her to scream at us like a street cat, do we?"
The video also caught you screaming from behind.
"Hey, I heard that!"
"I was just joking honey, all good here!" Chris screamed back. " She just proved my point," he whispered "anyway, happy birthday buddy, thank you for all the love, and enjoy your day. I've gotta show some love to my wife. Don't want her to get too mad at me. See you later, pal."
The video was so loved that it got 10 million in just one day and received many comments from fans:
user1: plsss the way he looks at her, he's down BAD
user2: when is someone going to talk about me the way Chris is talking about his pregnant wife?? WHEN???
user3: I love how he randomly brings up y/n during any conversation lmao
user4: NOT THE STREET CAT LMAOOO
The video got so much love that it even caught the attention of the man himself, Chris Evans.

“Sweetheart, you home?” Chris’s voice echoed through the house.
“Kitchen!” You shouted back.
Chris walked in the kitchen with a big smile on his face.
“Hey, babe. How was—” Chris kissed you with so much passion before you could finish your sentence. “That’s one hell of a kiss.” You smiled. “Not that I’m complaining, but what was the kiss for?” You asked curiously.
“Can’t a man kiss his gorgeous wife?” He says with a smile.
You know that smile. It’s the smile that he did something.
“What did you do this time, Chris?” You asked.
“Something good.” He says.
“What is it?” You asked.
“Something exciting that you and Max are going to love.” He smiles. “Where is he?” He asks.
“Upstairs playing in his playroom.” You say.
Chris goes upstairs with you following behind him. You two walk in the Max’s play room to see him playing with his Avengers action figures.
“Hey bud. Are you busy?” Chris asks.
“No. Am I in trouble?” Max asks, putting down his Captain America and Winter Soldier action figures.
“No you’re not in trouble.” He says.
“Oh ok. No I’m not busy.” He says.
You and Chris sat down on the floor in front of him.
“Chris has exciting news for us.” You tell him.
“What is it?” Max asks curiously.
“Who’s your favorite stepdad?” Chris asks.
“You’re my only stepdad.” He giggles.
“Point made, little man. Anyways, you know that Christmas is coming up, right?” Chris says.
Max nodded.
“Well, I got you, mommy, and I tickets to Disney Land! We’re leaving the day after Christmas!” He says.
Max’s eyes widened with excitement. He’s been wanting to go to Disney Land for as long as he can remember.
“No way! Really?!” Max asks.
“Yes!” Chris says.
Max hugs Chris, practically tackling him to the floor.
“You’re the best daddy ever!” He says.
Chris just smiles. Hearing Max call him daddy makes his day.
“I love you so much, daddy!” Max says.
“I love you too, bud.” Chris says with a smile.
“I love you, mommy.” He says, leaning over to hug you.
“I love you too, little man.” You smiled.

Dad!Chris Evans x Wife!Reader (DiCaprio!Reader)
summary: It’s the Lightyear world premiere in L.A.—and everyone is asking where Chris’ wife, YN, and their kids are.
word count: 3.5k
warnings: fluff, more fluff, mentions of complicated pregnancy, really short mention of traumatic child labor and death of both mother and child, double the fluff, not really proofread because I’m tired
author’s note: I don’t know where this came from. But I also don’t care because it’s my first Chris piece, and I’m excited. And for age’s sake: Leo is 15-20 years older than he actually is because I kinda forgot that he is only 47 after I already finished this one xD
Tumblr media
“I’m standing here with actor Chris Evans on this beautiful sunny afternoon. How are you, Chris?” One of the many interviewer asked, and the man grinned shortly to the camera before focusing back on the woman in front of him, holding a microphone right under his nose. She was nervous; he could see that, so he didn’t say anything about it. He understood her on a different level. “Hi, Susan. We really had luck with the weather, didn’t we? And I’m great, thanks. I mean, how could I not be great?” He grinned again and pushed his sunglasses up. “I probably would feel the same when I voiced my longtime favorite character! How did your kids react? You have two, right?”
At the mention of his two sunbeams back home, the father couldn’t help but smile softly. It may have taken a long while to find the perfect woman and the love of his life and an even longer while to create these two joys in his life, but Chris thanked the universe every single day for the honor of having them in his life.
“I have two wonderful and beautiful children, yes, and number three is on their way. My eldest, Ophelia, was over the moon when I left my study a few months back after I had just wrapped up the call with my manager and Disney and were allowed to talk about it. She, of course, eavesdropped because she just loves to do it when it contains me and my study. And she had picked up on some parts of the conversation and had bounced up and down and asked me nonstop if it’s true and I’m playing Buzz. It’s her favorite Toy Story character, so I had a bit of pressure while doing the actual work.” He showed his thumb and pointer moving very closely together and chuckled. “Who am I kiddin’, I had a lot of pressure,” he laughed, and Susan laughed with him. “I only can imagine how it is with such a harsh critique living under the same roof. How did your second child react?” Chris grinned again, and it was visible for everyone to see in this world how much he adored his two children. “My son Aiden was much more chilled. Well, it’s not science because he only objects if someone dares to steal his share of ice cream—or cuddle time with his mom. He had only shrugged after Ophelia had screamed through the living room that I was voicing Buzz, but he was kinda excited after we watched it for the first time and heard my voice. Y’know, to see your own kids become happy and have those big round eyes just like you at your first Disney movie and the birth of your first movie heroes? It’s something entirely else. And to witness this moment while they watched Lightyear? Mindblowing, really.”
His chest was swelled with pride, and everyone around gushed over the epitome of proud fatherhood Chris was in this very moment. And he didn’t mind because he could boast all day long about his kids—and wife. Speaking of which…
“This is probably the sweetest story I’ve ever heard. Thank you for sharing this very intimate insight of your family life with us, Chris,” the interviewer thanked him with a genuine smile, but Chris only waved it off. They might keep their kids out of the spotlight to grant them the childhood he had been gifted by his parents, but they never stopped talking about them when people asked. “Is it okay if I ask about your wife and why she isn’t here today? She usually is at all your premieres and vice versa. I barely can remember a time without her at your side or you at hers, to be quite honest. You two really found one another.” Chris nodded in absolute agreement. “We really did. It was unexpected and kinda bumpy—quite literally.”
The husband remembered their first encounter at one of the Oscar Afterparties vividly where the stunning woman had bumped into him—and had driven the heel of her painful stilettos into his shoe. Ever since the actor saw these shoes with other eyes. He returned back to reality. “But we pushed through the obstacles, and I am the lucky bastard she had agreed to marry. Lucky me.” He chuckled under his breath and shook his head. YN would hit him as soon as she saw this interview, and maybe she sat in front of the tv at this very moment and watched him gushing over their family. “But back to your question, Susan. YN is currently at home, maybe watching this interview and throwing a pillow to the tv because she is heavily pregnant and can’t get up without help anymore.” Chris grinned straight into the camera. “I’m sorry, love!” He almost shouted after the exposure of her struggling state he almost loved the most about her being pregnant.
He just was a sucker for his wife when she called for him to help her with the easiest of tasks and boss him around as if there was no tomorrow. But he was a happily obliging husband because, after all, her state had been his fault. Something he would always be proud of.
“She wanted to come with me, but the doctor had put her on bed rest for the time being after we experienced a tiny scare of our little one two weeks back.” The same icy cold feeling ran his back up and down, just the same he had felt during the few hours of panic and anxiety in the depths of night when their unborn child tried to greet them earlier than agreed. And gladly, as stubborn his wife could be, she kept her word and watched out for herself and the little bub instead of ignoring every warning and trying to go head first through every wall possible. His father-in-law was a great help on days like this when Chris couldn’t be at home to watch out for his love and his tiny love. “I am sorry to hear that. But now, everything is back on track and in order?” The actor nodded, relieved. “So far, yes. But it still means I have to attend these without her calming presence, and let me tell’ya: it’s freaking scary.” And then, he laughed and shook his head. “I’ve never expected to be so lost without her. I almost forgot to lace my shoes because my head was all over the place,” he let out and still couldn’t believe how his life had changed within only a few years.
“Don’t worry, Chris, I feel the same. My life without my girlfriend? God, send some help,” Susan laughed with him, and Chris smiled thankfully. “So, I suppose you will head straight back home after the screening?” And the Evans was more than relieved to nod this question yes. “Totally. I love everyone involved in this movie, and I’m beyond grateful. However, my priorities are heading home, being greeted by Dodge and maybe the kids if they’re still awake, thanking Leo for keeping an eye on these two—more like three, Dodger included—troublemakers and his daughter, and then finally greeting my wife. We probably will watch a Disney movie, eventually waking the kids with the sounds, and everything will morph into a huge Disney sleepover on the couch. And yes, that’s the description of my personal favorite night.” He had always been a more at-home type of guy after passing a certain age, but now, it was all he could ever want.
“That sounds like a night in just like mine, minus the children. Thank you again for talking to me, Chris, and congratulations on the brilliant movie and your family. I’m definitely not the only one when I’m saying that you deserve every single bit of it,” Susan closed the interview, and Chris waved a last time to the people standing behind her before heading back to the red carpet to get the final shots for the press.
;
Chris was glad that they had settled back to L.A. for the making of Lightyear to avoid stressful last-minute flights from one side of the country to the other. He could be there if something happened at home, almost within a matter of thirty minutes tops, and Leo wasn’t busy as he usually was to help him with keeping an eye on everyone. And now, he was glad because it meant he could hold his wife in his arms after only a twenty-minute drive instead of an almost six-hour flight. He could even grab her favorite ice cream flavor on the way home.
Leaving the car and wishing Daniel, his driver for today, a good night, Chris slowly followed the pathway, flanked with blooming bushes and flowers exploding in every color there was, up to the four steps leading to the porch and door. Their L.A. house reminded him of home back in Boston, and he couldn’t wait for them to move back and relish in the family time they would have after baby number three was born.
Smiling at the sounds of an excited Dodger waiting for him, Chris took two steps at a time and opened the door to get in. His fur companion wiggled with his tail at the sight of his human, and the Evans crouched down to greet him with a loving scratch behind his ears. “How is my best boy?” He asked and chuckled as Dodger impatiently nudged his hand to follow him. He wanted to, but tiny, excited voices let him stop in his tracks.
“Daddy! Daddy!”
“Daddy’s home!”
Two tiny humans rounded the corner into the hallway at full speed, and the father could only let the bag with ice cream and snacks drop to the floor before he was attacked by the hugs of his five-year-old girl and an almost four-year-old boy. “What a greeting!” He laughed as he lifted both children in his arms and tickled squealing noises out of them. Ophelia grinned brightly—the grin almost too big for her pretty little face— while Aiden preferred to snuggle onto his father’s shoulder. It was late for him, and Chris was actually surprised at how long he had pushed through.
“Did you bring the biiiig Buzz? I saw him on TV! I want him! He is so cool and sooo big! And Sox??? They had a statue of him too! Did you see it, Daddy?? Can we go there tomorrow?? Please??”
Chris chuckled at the tsunami of questions he already had anticipated, but another voice slid into the conversation. “Lia, darling. Give your dad some time to arrive and at least to take off his shoes,” Leo quipped with a small grin on his face and stepped to his son-in-law to take the kids off him. “But, Poooops!” Ophelia pouted heavily, and even Aiden seemed not happy about the interruption of stories. “No but’s, darling. Come on; you said you wanted to bake a cake for your dad and the work is only halfway done. Plus, your mom said something about craving a banana smoothie. Who wants a banana smoothie?”
And suddenly, the world was back in order, and both kids screamed “Yes!” throughout the entire house.
Chris followed them after taking off his shoes and retrieving the paper bag again. He took one spoon from the kitchen on his way to the living room and already saw the head of his wife peeking up between thick couch pillows. The husband left the bag with snacks at the opening of the kitchen, only taking the ice cream bucket with him. He crouched behind the back of the couch and let his arm appear from behind in front of the woman he loved—ice cream presented like an offering to the gods.
“M’lady, I brought gifts,” Chris laughed softly at her gasp and grabby hands, kissing her cheek tenderly. “Fine sir, do you possess the ability of mind reading? We should consider burning you at the stake.” YN had turned her head and grinned up to him as he rounded the couch and plopped down next to her. She was dressed in one of his Red Sox shirts—usually, it would be way too big for her, but now with the ever-growing baby bump, it fitted perfectly—, yoga pants and fluffy socks under which she probably hid the pestering compression socks the doctor had prescribed for the next weeks. “Please, I beg you, don’t burn me! Who would tend to your needs, m’lady?” YN’s eyes wandered to Dodger, who had taken over his place at her side once more. Ever the protective fur baby, Chris thought with a smile. “I could train Dodge to go to the store. Remember this video with the dog and his little basket on the market? Where he bought fruits for his owner? It could be Dodger after a bit of persuasion.” The woman grinned brightly, the same grin Ophelia owned, and with one hand on his neck, she pulled his face closer to hers. Chris obliged and leaned down to press their lips together in a loving kiss, which still let butterflies erupt in his stomach.
“Hey,” Chris whispered, lips still touching, and YN sighed. “Hey,” she returned just as quiet as he and nudged his nose with hers. “Everything alright?” She could see the worry in his blue eyes, darkening them a bit, so she took his hand and put it on the right side of her still-growing bump, even though she was almost through with it. But each pregnancy held its own surprises, as she had experienced. “Of course,” she smiled at his joyful, boyish grin as he felt one of the many kicks of their third bundle of joy. Number three may be an accident because, after Aiden’s birth, they had agreed on waiting a couple more years to grant them the attention they both deserved, but everything would be okay. And she couldn’t imagine a life without bub three.
Chris bent his head down to the spot where he suspected his baby’s head and pressed a kiss on top of his… YN’s shirt. “Hey, love. Here is your daddy speaking. I hope you didn’t give your mom a hard time today, and I damn sure hope you will continue to be a good girl in a few hours when she tries to sleep—unlike the last three nights. ‘Thought we had a deal.” YN chuckled while her fingers carded through Chris’ fluffy hair but groaned at a particularly hard kick. “Love,” they both warned in unison before YN settled back into the cushions and continued to caress her husband’s hair and scalp. “A girl, huh?” She softly smiled at the man who had swept her off her feet so suddenly, she still wondered how she didn’t brake her neck in the wake of his adorable flirting endeavors she oh so happily had returned. Chris leaned his cheek against her bump, wanting to be as close as possible to his baby and wife, and her knuckles tenderly stroked over his bearded cheek. He had a boyish smile tucking at his lips. “S’just a feelin’,” he mumbled, Boston accent very prominent—just as always when he felt contentment and happiness, mostly when he was at home with his family. YN grinned down at him while slowly rubbing the spot where the tiny bub had kicked again. “You can admit that you want another girl. Nobody would be surprised, y’know? The whole internet sees you as a girl-dad,” YN winked, and Chris’ rumbling laugh almost shook her body as well. “Do they, yeah?” She nodded and tipped the tip of his nose with the pad of her finger. “Yes, they do, and we both know that you know this as well. Don’t try to fool lil’ ol’ me, Mr. Evans. I’m aware of your stalking tendencies when it comes to your fans and this family.”
Chris grinned sheepishly before sitting up and pressing another kiss to her lips. “Wouldn’t dream of it, Mrs. Evans,” he whispered before commotion erupted in the kitchen and tiny feet came rushing over. “Mommy! Mommy, look! I made banana shake!” Aiden proudly presented the filled glass, and both parents were sure there would be a dripping trail of shake from the kitchen to the couch. But her father already followed with a kitchen towel in hand. “We made the banana shake,” Ophelia stressed and gave her mom the reusable straw she had carried while Aiden gave her the glass. The mother almost teared up and blinked rapidly to hide the tears. “You two are too good to me,” she sniffled before taking the first sip and hummed in utter approval. “Perfection. Maybe you should think about opening a shake shop.” Ophelia giggled while Aiden squeezed himself between Dodger and his mother. With another human, Dodger wouldn’t have any of that, but with his family, he only made space and put his head in his tiny human’s lap to get the cuddles he loved.
Meanwhile, Ophelia climbed into the spot between her mom and dad and cuddled into Chris’ side, grabbing the ice cream out of her mother’s hands and starting to steal a few spoons full of sugary delight. He had thought about getting up to change into something more comfortable, but he decided that this was much better. He could outlive a few hours without his sweatpants. Leo returned after bringing the kitchen towel into the laundry room and bent down to press a kiss to the top of his youngest daughter’s head. “I would head over if you don’t need anything else, darling,” he said, and YN looked up to him with all the love she held for this man. “Of course. Thanks again for coming over and handling everything.” She really had lucked out in the family department, even before finding Chris and creating her own perfect family with the perfect man that was her husband. The DiCaprio smiled down at her and kissed her forehead. “That’s nothing to thank me for.” And with that, he kissed his grandkids goodbye before patting his son-in-law’s shoulder. “There is a cake in the oven, but the timer is set.” Chris nodded, and after peeling a grumpy Ophelia off his side, he stood up and brought Leo to the door.
There, the older man turned again. “Before I go… I wanted to thank you, Chris, for making her so happy. You know what happened to her mother, and though it was a long time ago, it had always cast a shadow over her.” Chris knew what Leo was referring to; YN had told him about the traumatic labor her mother went through, only that she died and the baby with her. It had taken its toll on Leo, too, and the whole family had needed years to recover from it. It still amazed Chris how she had handled every pregnancy and every birth, although she knew what could go wrong. “But with you, she finally is… I can’t even describe it. Not to mention that you took her fear. So… Thank you.” Both men hugged each other closely, patted their backs reaffirmingly. “It’s an honor to love her and have her in my life because you raised one of the best women on earth. You deserve every thank I could offer you,” Chris mumbled before they let go of one another. Leonardo waved it off, but in reality, it was the proudest achievement in his life. YN and her sister were his pride and joy, just as Ophelia, Aiden, and the little one were Chris’ pride and joy. “Have a good night, Chris, and give me a call if it’s happening, yeah?” Chris nodded without hesitation. “Yeah, of course.“
Returning into the living room in his favorite sweatpants and Red Sox shirt—one of the few he actually was allowed to wear and which wasn’t claimed by his darling wife—Chris sat back next to Ophelia and out his arm on the back of the couch to softly caress YN’s neck and shoulder. “The kids decided that we’re watching Wall-E,” she let him know while his eldest already held onto the remote and scrolled through Disney+. “Daddy?” He hummed in question at Aiden’s voice. “Lia and I want see biiiiig Sox,” he told the family, and YN softly shrugged at Chris’ questioning look in her direction. “If they’re still there, why not? You two have to take a lot of pictures for me, ‘kay?” Aiden nodded with a serious expression. “Otay!” YN carded through her son’s mop of blonde hair—Chris’ genes definitely outrun hers—and changed another look with her husband, both obviously thinking the same. “You know, after your brother or sister is born, maybe we could check out Disney World and if they already have a Buzz and Sox there.” Both parents knew what mentioning Disney World would do to their kids, but they didn’t mind the explosion of tiny voices. Instead, Chris settled back right next to his wife, hand again on her bump, while they watched their children playing in the living room—Dodger was Sox, Ophelia played Izzy, and Aiden was Buzz himself.”
YN laughed softly and leaned her head onto Chris’ shoulder. “We really have a Disney obsessed family.” Chris grinned in total contentment and kissed her head. “We have, and I don’t want it any other way.”

I don’t know where all these words came from, but I kinda couldn’t stop writing. Even though it’s kinda shitty, I hope y’all enjoyed it! As usual: Comments, reblogs, and likes are much appreciated <3

Holidays in Mexico
Tumblr media
Summary: You and Chris went on a little summer holiday.
Type: Chris Evans x pregnant!reader
Warnings: None.
Chris laid his head on your chest, his lashes closing after a tired yawn. The temperature was hot but the gentle breeze from the ocean lullabies Chris into a nap after swimming in the sea for what felt like forever. When you planned this week off with Chris you knew you were in for a ride. He just couldn’t stay in the towel for long when he had water in front of him. The days at the beach were full of you trying to make him stay in the shade in the hottest hours, and apply sun cream every other hour when his started to fade away.
“We’ll have to bring bubba here on his first holidays. So I can show him all the fish and seashells.” Chris whispered still awake, his hand caressing your small but growing baby bump.
You smiled at the picture in your head.
Chris as a father playing in the sand with your baby and trying to convince him that going in the water was fun. You can imagine him turning his parenting personality into a full-on mode when the baby arrives. It was like that with everyone around him. He took care of you as much as you took care of him.
“I always wanted to bring everyone around here. You know? Our family? Stella bella would go crazy with all the seashells necklaces they do around here.”
Chris pressed a soft kiss on the visible part of your breast, the rest covered by your bikini. “That would be nice. We could rent a house here near the beach, and walk here every morning.”
You nodded, closing your eyes, feeling the heat coming down on you as the sun went down making it a perfect nap temperature.
A few minutes later you were awakened by the sound of people coming to watch the sunset, you opened your eyes to see Chris already awake. He had his cap on, his long hair combed behind his ears. For the last few months, you have been really careful not to show your baby bump. Only family and close friends knew about the pregnancy. You and Chris wanted to live it peacefully in the first early months, and as the time passed your small baby bump made it easier to make it unnoticeable to the eye with some clothes on. Resting your head on his shoulder Chris wrapped his arm around you, using his body as a shield for your stomach.
“I got you.” He whispered, pressing a kiss to your hair, holding your legs on top of his with his other hand, cuddling you.
And you knew he got you, just as you got him back.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
Months after your daughter Adeline’s first birthday you start to notice changes in your body.
Mornings that are met with throwing up, pushing away your favorite foods, and Chris walking on eggshells around you so you don’t blow up on him.
All of these signs pointed to something that you were very familiar with, pregnancy.
Of course you weren't sure, but you and Chris had both been talking about having another baby, and you both decided to let nature decide when you were ready.
Tumblr media
After dropping Adeline off with Uncle Scott you decided it was the perfect time to go grocery shopping.
Chris had something going on with his manager that he needed to sort out so this would be the perfect time for you to buy a pregnancy test without Chris finding out.
Going through the aisles, you stop in front of all the pregnancy tests. Grabbing a couple and shoving them in your cart you quickly get out of the aisle and into the next, making sure none of Chris’s fans or anything are following you.
Tumblr media
After getting home and putting everything up, you immediately go to the master bedroom, Dodger happily following you. It was as if Dodger could tell you were anxious because he immediately jumps on the bed and looks at you with his sweet puppy eyes.
Sighing softly you sit next to him on the bed, scratching Dodger behind the ears and resting some kisses on his head. After cuddling a bit with your pup, you head towards the bathroom, pulling out three tests and locking the door.
Doing your thing, you set a timer before heading towards your laundry room with Dodger trailing behind you, following your every move.
You loved both Chris and Adeline, but the more they kept dirtying their clothes, the closer you were to just sending them out into the world with trash bags.
After doing some laundry and cleaning around the house a bit you head back to the bathroom, anxiety coursing through your veins.
Resting your hand on the doorknob you take a deep breath, reminding yourself that no matter the outcome you tell Chris.
Turning the doorknob you quickly make your way to the counter only to gasp.
Two lines.
Pregnant.
You’re pregnant!
Tears of joy weld in your eyes as your hand covers your mouth. Your shaky hand picks up one of the pregnancy tests, still in shock that you were going to have another little one.
Squealing happily you turn to Dodger who’s face tilts with  confusion.
“You’re gonna have another sibling bubba!” You tell him, bending down and kissing him all over. Ideas immediately rush through your mind, as you rush down the stairs and put Dodger in his little pen, grab your purse and keys, making sure to bring the test with you. You wanted to tell Chris right away, but you also wanted to make a little something special for your daughter, because this was great news for not only you and Chris, but your daughter too.
Tumblr media
After rushing to the store you make your way back home, letting Dodger run free from his pen before setting up your daughter’s surprise, creating a cute little board that read ‘Mommy, daddy, Dodger, and me makes four plus one more makes five!’ and hiding behind that was a shirt that read ‘I’m the coolest big sister!’, a wrapped cake pop for your daughter, and the positive pregnancy test.
Obviously your daughter couldn’t read at the age of one, but she understood things pretty well so hopefully she’ll somewhat understand the message. If not then she’ll definitely understand what the cake pop is. (Scott gave her enough of those for her to exclaim ‘pop!’ every time you guys went to Starbucks.)
Putting the gift away along with the pregnancy test you start making dinner, knowing that within the next two hours Adeline and Chris would be home and starving.
Tumblr media
The oven timer sets off with a loud ring just in time as you hear the front door open, Chris’s laughter filling the air along with your daughter’s voice chanting ‘Totger! Totger!’, her d’s sounding more like t’s.
A smile rests on your face as you turn off the oven and spin around.
“Mama! Mama!” Adeline exclaims, her arms reaching up for you the second her beautiful eyes land on you.
“Oh my goodness! My baby is home!” You excitedly coo, grabbing a hold of your baby and smothering her with kisses, causing her giggles to fill the air.
After showering your baby with some love you turn to your loving husband, a breathless smile on your face.
“Now, I’m not trying to sound jealous of my baby, but I better be getting some lovin’ like that.” Chris tells you, his Boston accent making an appearance as he approaches you.
Leaning up, you share a sweet kiss with him, Chris humming into the kiss.
“Hello to you Mr. Evans.” You tell him, biting your lip softly.
“And hello to you, Mrs. Evans.” He tells you, wrapping his arm around you before kissing you again softly.
The sweet kiss it shared for only a moment, before you feeling something, well, somethings, wedge its way between you two.
Pulling apart you glance down to see Dodger making his way between you two along with her daughter, Dodger with a happy look on his face with his tongue out and your daughter with a smile on her chubby face.
Tumblr media
After making sure everyone got some love, you all sit and enjoy dinner, you and Chris talking about each other’s day while your daughter babbles incoherent sentences when you and Chris ask her about her day.
You clear the dinner table as Chris takes your daughter up for her bath, muttering to her along the way.
“Your mama is gonna kill me and uncle Scott if we keep getting you so dirty all the time Ada.”
“Cott cott!” Was the only response you heard for Adeline, her way of calling her Uncle Scott.
As you put the dishes in the dishwasher and clear the table, you make sure no one is looking before grabbing the gift box from the cabinet. Putting a finger over your lips in a ‘ssh’ manner to Dodger, you check the clock before heading to your living room, knowing that by now Chris should have your daughter fully bathed and changed, ready for down time.
Resting on the couch and hiding the gift box behind one of the throw pillows, you cuddle up with Dodger as you hear Chris’s footsteps get louder and louder as they near you, Adeline’s babbling getting louder as well.
Chris sees you resting on the couch and smiles, sitting next to you with your daughter on his lap.
Turning to him, you pull the gift box from behind the pillow and rest it lightly on top of Dodger’s head in your lap.
“What did I do to deserve a gift?” Chris as you, sitting Adeline on his lap as he takes the gift from you. Your daughter ‘oos’ at the gift in his large hands.
“Well it’s actually for both of you guys.” You tell him, gesturing for him to open it as you cuddle with Dodger, waiting to see their reaction.
Opening the box along with your daughter, Chris pulls off the lid with a confused look before turning to you.
“Read it out loud.” You tell him, a small smile on your face.
“You wanna read with dada Ada? Let’s read it! Mommy, daddy, Dodger, and me makes four plus one more makes five!” He reads, pausing for a moment after.
“Five?” Chris looks at you for a moment in confusion before everything clicks in his mind, turning to the box in his hand quickly before looking at you once more, his face painted with a look that asks, ‘really?’
You nod your head as the smile on your face grows wider. “Pull the board out.” You tell him and he follows, moving the board out of his way before setting the box aside. In his hands is the pregnancy test and your daughter’s new shirt.
“We’re having another baby? Really love?” Chris asks you quietly, tears welling up in his beautiful blue eyes.
Tears well up in your own as you nod yes. Chris pulls your daughter closer to his body with one arm as he drags you and Dodger towards him, kissing you and Adeline all over your faces.
“We’re having another baby! Ada! You’re gonna be a big sissy!” He exclaims, laying multiple kisses on your daughter's head.
Chris turns his head to you and smiles, happy tears in his eyes.
“We’re having another baby Honey, another little munchkin.” You tell him, both of you still in disbelief.
Chris pulls you into a loving kiss, both of you smiling as this happy moment cements itself into your consciences.
Pulling away, Chris turns Adeline in his arms as he bounces her up and down in his lap.
“Are you excited to be a big sissy Ada?” He asks her, but her eyes are set on the box.
You tap her on his chubby cheek which catches her attention.
“Hmm? Are you excited honeybun?” You ask her, leaning forward and kissing her chubby cheek.
“Pop!” Adeline exclaims, her small finger pointing towards the box as both you and Chris burst out in laughter.

Cravings to fulfill
“Chris please do this for your pregnant wife”you begged your husband for the hundredth time this afternoon to go to your next door neighbour who seems to have a barbecue out with their family, you wanted a taste of their food so badly.
You think you might throw up if you didn’t get a taste, this pregnancy has a heavy craving on you, you gained weight in a small amount of time, which doesn’t bother you. But its bothering your doctor.
“no babe I can’t it’s so weird to go there and ask for food” he said.
“Yeah but it’s different when you’re pregnant, your son wants this are you gonna refuse his first ever request in this life?”
He side eyed you “he can live with it, besides why don’t you go, It more reasonable for you to go”
“Sometimes I don’t like you” you said upset.
“If you want im gonna get a barbecue recipe from mom and i will make it for you tomorrow” he said trying give you reasons for not going there.
“Did you call your mom?” You asked
“No, but i will” he puts his laptop down and picked hus phone up.
you felt tears building up in your eyes, the smell were so good and you felt nauseous.
“I’m gonna go and ask them” you said standing up and continue “but If they told me no we would have to move out”.
“Sure sweetheart” he replied without even looking at you.
You sighed and went to the kitchen, you picked a plate and went to grab your jacket, you yelled at your husband before going out “wish me luck”
you reached you neighbour house, you took a deep breath and knocked on the door, you waited for seconds before a dark haired woman who looked like in her late thirties opened the door, she’s taller and has a pretty smile on her face, you can hear the loud noises of kids behind her.
You smiled shyly at her, cursing Chris in your head for putting you in this situation “I’m so sorry, I couldn’t help but smell your delicious food from my house” you pointed at your house “can you give some of what you’re cooking?” You pushed the plate in front of you, smiling at her feeling awkward and embarrassed.
“Sure!!, pregnancy cravings?” She took your plate from your hand and pushed the door wider for you to come, you thanked her and got inside, she called her daughter and gave her the plate to put some food in it, she even told her to put some from all of the things they are having.
“my craving this pregnancy is out of hand im sorry”
“Oh honey don’t apologise, I know how pregnancy cravings is!” she told you, emphasising “i know” to make her point.
You made a small talk with her till her daughter came back with the plate and a plastic bag with some drink in it, you thanked her again you told her you were gonna pay for her if she wants but she refused.
You went back to your home smiling like you made a victory, the food even looked as good as it smelled, you opened the door and your husband called for you.
“Did they gave you?”
“Yeah, it look so good, and i’m not giving you a thing”
“Not even a taste?” He asked kinda feeling bad right now.
“Not even a look, and don’t try and steal a pregnant woman food” you pointed at him and went to the dining table to eat.
You took a big bite from the food in front of you “mmm, god it so delicious” you enjoyed your food while making a sound of how good the food is to tease Chris.
Marlyn came from her playroom and stood beside you she opened her mouth to take a taste of the food and you fed some of it, she smiled “mommy! It’s good”
“Right baby?, it’s bad daddy can’t have a taste”
“I’ve other things I would like to taste better than food” he smirked at you. you know what he meant. You gave him a look and smirked in return “who knows maybe you can’t taste it either” you winked before going back to feed your daughter some of your food.

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You never hated going to the doctor's office more than you did today. Squirming in your chair, your shoulders were high, ready to see another scan of your son, holding onto Chris’s hand tightly, the hopefully glint in your eyes, sooned started to fade when the doctor turned back to the two of you with a solemn look on their face.
“Mr and Mrs. Evans…”
The ride home was terrible, Chris constantly riding away his tears as he drove home, looking over seeing the look on your face not knowing how you felt. You haven't cried since you found out about the miscarriage, your face going blank, your voice holding no more emotion.
You felt like a failure to your son.
Chris made the phone calls when you got home, you went straight up to your room, not even sparing a glance at the nursery before slamming the door shut.
The dam broke when the door was shut, knowing you were far enough from Chris, not wanting to pile onto his load of stress that was already there.
Looking down your stomach, you were about 6 months in, your stomach still prominent and the doctor said it wouldn’t go away for a while.
“I’m sorry.” You cried to your empty stomach.
Chris finished talking with his mom and yours, wiping away the rest of his tears knowing it was taking a toll on your body and you needed him even if you didn’t say anything.
The bedroom was empty when he walked in, the bathroom door closed, hearing your muffled cries from the other side.
“Honey.” He whispered, knocking on the door, slowly opening and peeking his head inside. “Oh baby.”
“Why did this happen to us?” You whispered, looking up at him. “What we do that was so cruel that the world thought this was the right punishment.”
“There is no one to blame.” Chris reprimanded.
“It was me, Chris.” You sighed. “Can you just admit that I’m the one carrying your child and I’m the one that lost it.”
“Stop that.” Chris started to tear up. “Don’t tear yourself down for something that you couldn’t control, you did everything right, since the moment we found out, you did nothing but support our son even if he wasn’t in this world yet.”
“I miss my baby.” You cried softly, hiding your face in his chest. Chris opened his arms to you, wrapping them softly around you not wanting to suffocate you. The two of you stayed in the bathroom until you heard the doorbell.
You stayed, while Chris went down, seeing his mom with tupperwares full of food. She didn’t stay long knowing the rest of the night was going to be rough, leaving the food with her son and a kiss on the cheek, praying for your healthy return.
Lisa was right, as the moon started to rise, your eyes were swollen and puffy, you couldn’t sleep. Chris tried getting you to eat some of the soup his mom brought but you didn’t budge and didn’t want to pressure you but reminded you that you needed to eat something soon.
Laying in bed with Chris that night was suffocating, you felt like the walls were closing in on you. Chris’s arm rested on the lower part of your stomach right under your belly like it always did, and it felt like a chain. You were happy that your husband was a heavy sleeper, you were able to slip from his grasp, getting your slippers and going downstairs.
Dodger lifted his head up when he heard the noise, his feet padding against the floor following you into the kitchen.
It was past 2am when you came down for a cup of tea and gave  Dodger a little snack, the two of you now moving to the couch.
Dodger joined you, jumping you, whining as he rested his head down on your lap, knowing exactly what had happened in the past 24 hours.
The TV was turned on, the news channel on quietly not wanting it to blare through the house, making sure you didn’t wake up Chris. Unbeknownst to you, Chris had been awake since the moment you slipped through his arms. Groggily, he padded out of bed, grabbing a pair of boxers, retracing your footsteps downstairs.
“Hi sweetheart.” He whispered, joining you and Dodger on the couch. You shifted, letting him lay behind you, resting your back on his chest. Your tea was cool enough to rest between your thighs, grabbing Chris’s hand, tracing his fingers with yours.
“Are we going to be okay?” You whispered, you thought about it for the time you tried to fall asleep and while you were downstairs and you finally came to the conclusion there was no one to blame, it was just finding when it’s right to move on.
“Of course baby.” He kissed the top of your head. “We’ll be okay.”
-
The paparazzi found out about the misacarriage a week later. You and Chris went to another amount with your OBGYN
You were dressed in a pair of biker shorts, and one of Chris’s sweatshirts that hid your bump that was now growing smaller and smaller. Before it was clear as day you were pregnant and you didn’t hide it but since the miscarriage, you covered yourself, concealing the bump.
There were rumors going around but nothing was made true until Chris posted a small letter from the two of you.
About 2 weeks ago we were told about some sad news. There was a genetic abnormility in the embryo causing Y/n to have a miscarriage. We have been focusing on our family for the past few weeks and we want to continue that for the time being. Thank you for understanding and we love you <3
True to his word, both of you stayed off social media, staying and connecting with your families. The day your mother came into town, you cried in her arms for hours, knowing she was the closest person who could understand what was going on. Your parents stayed at Lisa’s with the rest of your in-laws, the whole family coming together to help the two of you through the tough time.
There were more doctor appointments, making sure everything was okay with you, and your doctor explained you still could go through postpartum depression. You were prescribed anti depressents a few weeks after the miscarriage and it did help with you but you and Chris noticed how it lowered your libdio.
It didn’t bother Chris about having sex with you, he wanted you to feel as comfortable as possible in your body. Along with the rest of the doctors appointment, they cleared the two of you for trying for another child.
You thought about the possibility about another pregnancy and so did Chris and both of you talked it over extensibility and you both deemed that it was still too soon.
You filled the void over the next few months, traveling with Chris for work projects. It gave the two of you something to do without constantly thinking about the miscarriage.
About 7 months later, the two of you returned back to Boston staying for the next couple years. Chris had booked a few movies and shows that were local for the two of you to stay home.
The topic about another baby was brought up when the two of you came home, just before Chris started filming for Knives Out.
Chris was ready to try again.
He explained how he wanted to move back to Boston, booking the jobs in the city so he was able to come back home to you and Dodger, so he could be with his new baby if the time was right.
You were ready but also weren’t.
Chris listened as you explained yourself, the past couple weeks you thought about another baby and you knew Chris was still dreaming of one before it was too late for him. But the thought of another miscarriage or something bad that could happen again, you didn’t want another loss in your family.
“Yeah.” You smiled through your tears as they cascaded down your cheeks, your heart swelling. “I’m ready to try again.”
Chris was nothing but gentle with you. You went off your antidepressants really better about yourself and your body. It was vanilla but it was filled with love, something the two of you were truly craving in the past few months.
And if you knew anything from last time, you getting pregnant wasn’t a problem. Your suspicions came true after a test and the confirmation from the doctor.
Your first trimester went smoothly, and you both expressed it was best you waited until you were for sure nothing bad was going to happen.
The start of the second trimester you started to become more anxious. Coming to the doctor for the gender, both you and Chris were a bit scared.
Your hand was held tightly in his, both of you staring intensely at the doctor to look away from the screen.
“Congratulations, you’re having twins.”
Both of you were shocked, you didn’t have a history of twins in your family, the twin gene dormant on the maternal side.
“Would you like to know the gender?”
“I want to wait.” You looked up at Chris for his input.
“We’ll wait.” He confirmed with you, bringing your intertwined hands together, pressing a kiss to the back of your hand.
Coming home both of you were elated, just itching to call your parents but still remembering you had suffered a miscarriage a few weeks after.
Once the initial shock died down, you started to become more stressed, being extra careful about where you went, how you moved and what you ate. And as time went on, you planned another visit to the doctor just wanting to make sure everything was okay, and your babies were perfect and healthy.
Halfway through your second trimester you started to show, your stomach being more prominent and you couldn’t keep saying you were gaining weight, the two of you hosted a small dinner with both of your families.
Your mom and Lisa were crying, hugging the two of you tightly. Chris’s siblings were happy and his nieces and nephews were excited to have two new cousins to play with soon.
Entering the third trimester, your belly was big, keeping you occupied in bed most of the day. Your feet were sore, you couldn’t even see them over your bump. Luckily Chris finished filming and was home full time with you, putting in his paternal leave until a few months after the babies were born to stay with you.
And when your water broke a few weeks earlier than expected, something both of you were informed that your twins would probably want out earlier than usual, Chris swept you away to the hospital.
You didn’t remember how long you’ve been in the bed, sweat sticking your hair to your forehead, your legs propped up waiting to be 10cm dilated, Chris constantly coming in and out of the room with ice chips.
The doctor said some walking would help with the dilation, and as Chris came back with the ice chips, he was helping out of the bed and bringing you a walker. Barely making it around the floor before you felt another contraction, nurses and doctors along with Chris were able to get you back into your room for the delivery.
Your head was thrown back onto the bed, one hand gripping tightly onto the rails or the bed and the other plunging your nails into Chris’s chin who didn’t seem to be bothered by it or kept it to himself.
“One more baby.” Chris said softly. You let out a scream, the doctor easing the baby out into their arms, the cries filling the room.
You sighed, slumping down into the bed knowing you were going to do it again.
“You have a girl Mr. and Mrs. Evans.” The doctor smiled, grabbing the baby back from the nurses bringing her into your arms.
“Oh my goodness.” You cried, “Hi baby.”
Chris leaned over the bed, his head above yours, your daughter's eyes wide looking around the room.
“You’re so beautiful.” He whispered.
The moment didn’t last long when you felt another round of contractions, Chris quickly grabbing the baby away from you into the hands of a nurse so he could onto you again. 10 minutes later, another wave of cries filled the room.
“Another girl.” They smiled. You could barely keep your eyes open as the nurses cleaned her up and wrapped her in a backpack before bringing her to you.
Compared to her sister, her eyes were closed, her little nostrils flaring as she breathed out.
“They’re so small.” You whispered, looking up at Chris holding the other baby. “We’re going to need some names?”
“Nadia and Iris.” He said instantly. “I’ve been thinking about names for the past few weeks and Violet is Greek for rainbow and Naida means hope. They’re our miracles, our rainbow babies.”
You couldn’t help but agree, falling in love with both names. Looking down at your second girl, you smiled softly, your hand rubbing her forehead. “Hi Iris.”
The two of you stayed in the hospital for another day, your families coming to visit to meet the babies. And by their first day you could already tell your two girls apart. Nadia was open to new people, happy in anybody’s arms while Iris knew if she wasn’t with her mother or father.
Your new family stayed out of the media for another month or so until Chris posted a photo of the two girls. They laid on the bed, wrapped in their blankets sleeping soundly, and Nadia cuddled next to her younger sister.
Both of you watched the two girls in the nursery, seeing how they brought so much light into your lifes and they didn’t even know.
They were the rainbow you were waiting for after the storm.

How Young? Chris Evans reveals he got married at just 19 years old
Tumblr media
Chris Evans (40) has always been an actor that was openly devoted to his family and ever since he appeared on our screens there have been no dating scandals or other public controversies.
And that’s probably because he’s been married for as long as the world has known him and is constantly adding to his brood of adorable children.
Last night, Chris appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, promoting the launch of one of his newest projects, 'Lightyear', a story of Buzz Lightyear and his adventures to infinity and beyond.
Chris appeared looking sexy as ever in a blue suit, highlighting his muscles.
When Jimmy brought up who was most looking forward to seeing the animated movie, Chris immediately answered that his kids had been begging to see it ever since they found out that their dad was going to Buzz Lightyear.
It was then that Jimmy brought out a cute photo of Chris, his wife Y/N (39) and their 5 kids:
Brandon (18)
Lowel (14)
Rayne (11)
Teddy (7)
Laurelai (2)
The picture captured the 7 Evans's at a family event in their garden, a year after the birth of little Laurelai. And all members of the family looked their best, especially Y/N in a cute navy dress with a white floral pattern and low neckline.
Jimmy went on to ask Chris how long he and his wife had actually been married, as Chris became an actor fairly young and there was never a point where Y/N didn't seem to have been there.
Chris revealed that 'we got married right after her high school graduation, a year after I had graduated myself, so I was 19 and she was 18.
'We met in Y/N’s freshman year - my sophomore year - when she joined the cheerleading squad and I was part of the football team. Such a cliché, i know.
‘Once I finally asked her out, we dated all throughout high school. We were that couple that was obnoxiously in love, always holding hands and making out in the hallway.
‘And then after she finished school, we figured why wait? So we got married in a little ceremony in my mom’s back yard.’
When asked if it was tough being married at such a young age and then having his first kid only a few years later, Chris replied that it was difficult with Y/N getting her degree and him starting his acting career, but they made it work by just keeping talking to each other.
And now the high school sweethearts are as close as ever, living with their 3 sons, 2 daughters and 2 dogs - Dodger and Pixie, in Boston in the house that Y/N designed herself after she became an architect.
We here at celebtattletale wish the family the best and I'm sure that we can all only hope for a love like theirs.

𝐫𝐞𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 (𝘤𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴 𝘦𝘷𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘹 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳)
description: a little cute family reunion after chris was away for a little.
Tumblr media
“Buenos dias baby” You exclaimed with a wide smile. Your 4 month old baby boy Roman squealing in happiness at the sight of your face. “Did you sleep so good?” You laughed running a hand through his bed head. Roman kicked his legs excitedly mumbling his baby talk. Picking him up from his crib you ticked his side. “Are you excited? guess who’s coming home today!” You carried him over to his changing table.
“We have lots to do today before daddy gets home.” You listed off all the plans for the day. And even though you knew your 4 month old couldn’t understand you still enjoyed speaking to him. After changing his diaper and wiping him down with a damp washcloth. You dress him in a new onesie you bought the week before online.
It was a fuzzy one that had Nemo’s face on the hood. Your favorite movie to watch as a family was Finding Nemo so it was fitting. “You look so cute bebe” You squished his cheeks making him giggle and fiddle with his hands. “He’s going to freak when he sees you!” You laughed taking a few pictures of Roman sending them to Chris.
~
“It’s so yummy right?” Roman’s face was covered in his breakfast. Oatmeal Peach Apple was one of his favorites.
After feeding Roman and cleaning up his face you started on your own breakfast.
You hadn’t worked up a big appetite for anything in particular so you went with something quick. Eggs and buttered toast with a side of chopped fruit from the day before.
“Okay ready to make a pretty picture for daddy!” You brought up a stool next to Roman’s high chair. “We’re gotta make a welcome home card okay?” You wiped his baby drool from his face. setting down a baby blue construction sheet of paper in front of him.
You started it off writing down the words ‘Welcome home!’ adding a little heart at the end with a marker. Roman couldn’t do much with a marker so you set out washable paint on another paper.
“Look at all these pretty colors!” You softly grabbed one of his hands showing him all the bright paints. His finger immediately dipped into the color purple. Roman was about to bring his finger towards his mouth before you quickly stopped him. “No look you paint here!” You drew a squiggly line with his finger. The color on the paper making him smile. His mouth formed an “ouuu” as if his art was the most impressive thing he’s done yet.
To distracted by the four month old beauty ,the sound of keys jingling and a door opening became background noise. Roman’s eyes widened, his chubby face forming a wide gummy smile. His eyes set dead behind you “what are you looking at mi amor?!”
Just as you were about to turn seeking out what your baby was so happy about, a set of strong arms engulfed you from behind.
Along with kisses to the side of your neck, immediately identifying it as your husband. “You aren’t supposed to be back until later que paso?!” You squealed excited and surprised all at the same time.
“I might have lied about what time I landed …the whole time I was planning on surprising you” After giving you one sentimental kiss, he pulled away moving towards his extremely impatient son. “WOAH mommy I think we got to distracted with our reunion!” you furrowed your eyebrows confused on what Chris was talking about. “Looks like little man…gave himself face paint.”
You looked towards where your baby and husband shared a warm embrace, and sure enough Roman’s face and brand new onesie covered in bright colors, looked like he really went to town with the paint. “BABY! not on your face” you laughed, moving towards the both of them, squeezing his chubby cheeks “we’re gonna have to put you in the bath.”
Chris sniffed his baby boys head like he was relishing in the baby scent he loves. “I’ll take him a bath, I’ve been craving my wife’s tostadas” You smirked “Oh really? Then I’ll just have to make some” You stood up on tip toes lightly scratching his beard, he relaxed into the touch, sighing when Roman’s hand followed yours now to playing with Chris’s beard. “I missed y’all so much.”
~
An hour later, you managed to whip up some Tostadas per your husbands request. You slowly balanced both plates on your hand, making way into the spacious living room.
You smiled when you noticed that all to familiar movie intro. “He was supposed to wear his outfit while we watched the movie!” You fake pouted as your sons eyes followed the fishes that swam on the screen. “It’s alright he’s got on his socks see!” Chris laughed picking up Roman, his little legs kicked begging to be let down again so he could watch his favorite movie.
You nodded, handing Chris his plate he moaned in delight “Baby I haven’t had anything like this in what feels like forever.” He quickly thanked you with a chaste kiss, immediately digging into his food. “Maybe we could come with you next time?” You whispered, not knowing how he would react.
“I do want to travel with him.” Chris looked to Roman who babbled off at the screen. “I can’t stay away from you both any longer…it feels like he’s grown so much since the two months I’ve been gone.” You sighed “He has, but you’re here now and that’s all that matters” You smiled, heart warming when Chris took his hand in yours lightly squeezing.
“Can we make some more little ones?” He whispered.
You giggled quietly “oh yeah, once this little one goes down for a nap.” you mumbled against his lips not exactly knowing if he was serious or not.
SPOILER ALERT: he was serious.

Bubby.
Pairing: Chris Evans x reader
Summary: when Chris' daughter gives him a nickname, suddenly the other ones don't matter
Word count: 552, a cute little blurb <3
Warnings: Fluffffff ( are we surprised lmao)
A/N: sooooo I'm back with another fluffy blurb! I'm sorry that it's a short one again, but I'm trying to slowly bring my motivation back to life lmao. So, I hope you enjoy it! Please tell me what you think. Recommendations, vents, questions, and many asks are always welcome.
English is not my first language, so I apologize if I made any (grammar) mistakes.
Happy reading xxx
I do NOT give permission for my work to be translated or reposted on here or any other site.
Chris was a person who received many nicknames over the years. Hottie, frat boy, America’s golden man, and many more. But there was one that stuck out to him the most; if he was honest, it was his favorite. And the nickname was given to him by none other than his daughter, Adeline.
“Bubby! come here, I missed you bubby!”
the first time she said that Chris and you weren’t so sure who she was referring to. It was the first time she used that word and it could be anyone. It could be you, dodger, Chris, or even her baby doll who she formed a strong connection with.
“Who are you talking to, Addy? Are you talking to mommy, huh?”
“No mommy, you’re so silly,” she said while laughing. “ I’m talking to my bubby, to daddy!”
Saying that Chris was surprised was an understatement of the feelings he was going through. It was like his whole body was in shock, trying to understand and process what he was supposed to feel and react to. Was he happy? Should he cry? Was he supposed to laugh and tickle his daughter to join him? Chris was clueless. But thank god his wife reacted before it became too awkward.
“Omg, you’re so cute, Adeline. That is such a good nickname for your daddy, right Chris?” you turned to look at her husband and saw a smile forming on his face. This was such a big milestone for your husband and your daughter, that you felt so lucky to witness it.
“Oh my god, yes! I love it. Thank you, Addy. You picked such a good nickname for your daddy, my smart little girl.”
With that being said, he attacked his little girl with kisses and tickles, making it another day in the Evans household, where the home was filled with laughter and joy. But this nickname didn’t particularly stop in the cozy home. Wherever they went, Adeline never forgot to call Chris “her bubby”. During family dinners, at the park, dropping her off at the kindergarten, and the one where the entire world found out, at his sexiest man alive interview.
“Hi, I’m Chris Evans and you’re at PEOPLE’s se-”
“You’re not Chris, you’re bubby!”
The voice of your daughter disturbed Chris and made everyone laugh, including your husband and you. Chris insisted that both of you were present since it was so important ( to other people) he wanted his family present.
“I know honey, but the world knows me as Chris, so I have to introduce myself like that, don’t I?” He asked his daughter, who took place on your lap behind the cameras.
“Sorry bubby, please continue.” The crowd awwed after Adeline said that, showing how kind and polite she was, even at a young age.
At that moment, Chris was more proud of getting the title of sexiest man alive. His daughter and his wife were next to him, looking at him with the same adoration in their eyes.
He didn’t care if the world would call him the sexiest man alive; he was and always would be, Adeline’s bubby.

Note
let’s get soft and kinda smutty 🥹
I feel like Dad! Chris would be so over the moon about your pregnancy that he literally means he doesn’t want you doing any kind of lifting, bending, or working yourself in your condition.
He’s honestly ecstatic about doing any kind of work that’s necessary. Cooking, cleaning, moving stuff, the laundry, catering to Dodger, any and everything. He didn’t want to compromise this miracle in any kind of way. He welcomed everything.
And he’s told you this plenty of times and you’ve always thought he was joking because he loved you that much.
So when he sees you working hard in the kitchen? Cleaning and loading the dishwasher when he had to run some errands, he is a little upset. And he means well, you can’t fault him. But he’s annoyed with you, he can’t even lie.
He contemplates a way to make sure you know and learn but it continues to frustrate him because what weren’t you getting? He wanted every load of responsibility during your pregnancy. He wanted you safe and well rested. No arguments.
It also sucks because those pregnancy hormones were raging once the sky started getting dark. You both were freshly showered and just ate dinner. You’d be lying in bed next to him, steadily trying to get his attention that you wanted him.
“Chris, baby, c’mon, what’s the matter?”
“You know what’s wrong, no need to ask”
“Are you still upset over me doing a couple dishes and trying to clean this house? Baby, you can’t be serious—“
He turned to you, “No but I am, you don’t understand how blessed I am to be doing this with you and I want this first go around to be the best experience for you. When I told you I wanted you to sit down and relax, I meant that, how’d you think you got pregnant in the first place?”
You fell silent, not wanting to talk about it further but Chris wasn’t having it. He ran a hand from your 6 month protruding stomach, through the valley of your growing breasts, and up to softly cup your throat.
“You know when daddy asks you a question you answer it. You’ve been real disobedient today and I think it’s time to teach you a lesson”
And now he’s got you stuck in bed, edging you and overstimulating you like you’ve never known before 😵‍💫 he’s barely letting you cum while also threatening if you should cum at all 😮‍💨
And when he fucks you??? He’s got your voice going weak and fucking out every orgasm he knows your sensitive little cunt can give him. He’s got you damn near seeing stars. All to teach you a lesson.
And to top it all off, he gives you heartwarming aftercare. Kissing you all over, caressing you, and loving you as if he didn’t just blow your back out 😀 you gotta love him tho 🥰
CRYING OMG NO I LOVE THIS!!!
I could definitely see Chris being the kind to get upset that you’re not resting especially because like you said he wants to enjoy your first pregnancy, you’re precious to him and he wants you to be doted on and as relaxed as possible
He’s annoyed but it’s because he really cares and GIRL OMFG yes teaching you a lesson….sweatinggg ahhh, it’s so passionate and steamy and he’s definitely out to have seeing stars, all fucked out and sleepy and happy by the end of it all and he hopes you’ll realize that he’s got you, always will, you and the little one forever
Full dad mode but also the daddy™️ in him also goes into overdrive!

A fluff where Steve Rogers and his wife reader dropping off their daughter or son to college for the first time. The two cried on how much their child has grown up
Off to College
A/N: Wait.. why am I crying 😭 This is, in my opinion, one of my best fluffs yet. Stop cutting onions guys!
WARNING: Tissues on hand needed.
Tumblr media
“She’s too young.” Steve’s hands gripped the steering wheel, eyes focused straight ahead.
“She’s 18 Steve. That’s the average American age to go off to college.” You replied to your husband.
“You know I’m right here and can hear you guys, right? Like, theres no soundproofing between the back and the front seats.” Your daughter Sarah pulled out an air pod from her ear, jumping into the conversation.
“Well as I was saying, I don’t care I still think you should of stayed back a year at home.” Steve retorted, looking in the rear-view mirror at his little girl who now resembled that of a young woman about to go off to college.
“May I remind you, DAD, that at 18 you were joining the army to go fight in the second world war. Whereas I’m simply moving across the state.”
“In many ways my daughter going off to college and war are the same thing to me.”
You turned behind you and shared a puzzled look with your daughter. While she mostly resembled you, she had Steve’s piercing blue eyes.
“How so?” You egged on your husband to elaborate.
“I’m scared shitless about both of them.” He let out a loud sigh.
“Dad… its fine!”
“Repeat to me the rules.”
“Omg not this again.” You put your forehead into your palm, dreading to listen to this speech for the 50th times.
“Dadddd” Sarah whined in the backseat
“So, help me God I will turn this car around, unless you repeat to me the rules, Sarah Mae Rogers.” He turned his head to the backseat, giving her his classic “I’m not playing around” eyes.
“No drinking. No drugs. No “philandering” with the opposite sex…is that even word?”
“It is.” You and your husband said in unison
“No staying out past 1 and in the case of a national emergency inclusive of war, alien invasion, terrorist attack; extra-terrestrial...
“And domestic... don’t forget that!” He interjected
“…and domestic I am to find immediate shelter, call you to give you my location and wait until the ship arrives to take me to the safe house.” She groaned finishing the spiel.
“Good.” Steve smiled, satisfied with her memorisation of his rules.
You gave your daughter a sympathetic smile, knowing while some rules may get broken you had raised a smart, young woman with her wits about her.
It’s not that Steve didn’t trust his daughter who he had trained in hand-to-hand combat since the age of 3, it’s just that he knew the world was scary. Sending his only daughter off alone, miles away from home terrified him. He wouldn’t be there to protect his little girl anymore.
You exited the car to the chaos of move in day at the popular university. Steve insisted he take all the boxes up in one trip. All stacked high above him, he didn’t break a sweat carrying them up the 5 flights of stairs towards her dorm.
Your daughter bowed her head in embarrassment as she walked 10 steps behind her father, watching as people stopped and stared at the superhero, whispers filled the halls as he gave kind nods to everyone who he walked past.
You came up beside her,
“Mom everyone is staring why didn’t he just wait in the car!”
“Well neither of us were going to carry the boxes, besides your father is a respected man, he saved humanity that’s nothing to be embarrassed about!”
“Yeah, I get it but he’s still embarrassing!”
You wrapped your arm around your daughter’s shoulder.
“You know he’s just as nervous as you are right?”
“Why would he be nervous? He’s not the one who has to be known as Captain America’s daughter!”
“No, he doesn’t.” You sighed stopping her in the hall and pulling her off to the side.
“Do you remember when you were five and you really wanted to jump off the roof into the pool?”
“Yeah...”
“And we said no but you climbed up the ladder anyways and being five you miscalculated the distance between the ledge and the pool.”
“Yeah…”
“Who caught you before you hit the ground?”
“Dad…”
“Right and when you were 10 and you fell over your bike, breaking your arm… who was the first person who came to your aid and took you to the hospital?
“Dad”
“Exactly and when aliens invaded earth 3 years ago what was the first thing your dad did before going to headquarters?”
“He came to school and picked me up.”
“Exactly.”
“What’s your point?”
“My point is from the moment you were in my belly your dad has spent every moment of his life trying to protect you from the world. He realises he’s not going to be right by side anymore… and he’s scared. Scared of losing you.”
“He’s not going to lose my mom, I’m an adult now I’m fully capable of taking care of myself.”
“I know that, and he knows that. But it doesn’t matter how old or big or strong you get he is always going to care about you. It will always be his number priority to keep you safe and that’s not going to change anytime soon.” You brushed a strand of her hair behind her ear.
Your daughter looked down, biting her lip.
“Come on let’s go unpack.”
You walked her into her dorm.
You got to work setting up her room. She put up fairy lights on the wall, while you fluffed the pillows on her bed. Steve assembled all her little bits of furniture.
As a final touch, Steve pulled out a framed photo. Sarah in the middle, between both of your arms. She was only 3 in it, a big smile between her chubby cheeks, her arm up in superhero pose, dressed in her mini captain America shirt. It was his favourite family photo and lived on his bedside table. He looked at it a little, wiping a tear from his eye before he placed it on her bedside table.
“Alright you’re all set! We are going to head out now sweetheart you need anything else?” You chirped.
“Nope, I’m good. Thanks for helping guys.”
You gave your daughter, your final hugs and kisses and exited the room down the hall.
She studied her room, satisfied with her interior decorating skills. Then suddenly, she noticed the photo that appeared had on her bedside table. She picked it up and held it in her hands. Suddenly, she felt the tears well up in her eyes.
“Wait!” She ran down the hall, just catching you both before you went down the stairs.
You both looked back to see your daughter running towards you. With a thud she landed against her father’s chest. Wrapping her arms around his waist in a hug. Instantly, Steve hugged her back, pulling her tightly towards him.
“I love you dad.” She whispered against his chest.
Steve’s head fell to the top of his little… now big girl’s head. His hand encompassing her head. Kissing her forehead tenderly. “I love you too kiddo. Be safe.”
“I will.” Tears welled up in your eyes watching their embrace. She pulled out of the hug, gesturing towards you.
“I love you mom.” “I love you too baby.” All 3 of you huddled together in an embrace. Both parents wanting to hold onto their daughter for a little longer.
You all pulled out and said your now final goodbye. Brushing away tears.
You held your husband’s hand as you exited the college dorm building.
“She’s too old for me now babe.”
“She’s never going to be too old for her daddy.”
He pulled you into his arm, kissing your forehead.
Sarah was going to be just fine. And besides, she’ll be home in 2 weeks anyways to get you to do her laundry.
