"dada! dada!" you heard me shout you from outside and knew instantly what was wrong. "hey little one. you feeling smaller than usual?" you say as you make your way over to me in the sandpit. I nod, not wanting to use my big girl voice. I make grabby hands and you pick me up, slotting me on your hip and you carry me back inside. "would you like your baba, baby?" I clap my hands excitedly and nod. You quickly make me a bottle of warm milk in my favourite baby bottle and sit with me on the couch, "come on bug, open wide!" I happily oblige, humming contently as you feed me whilst gently wiping the hair from my forehead, "my cute tiny baby, aren't you? so tiny!"
