Curse of Strahd makes me feel a lot of things.

My character Cartier being from a kingdom where he works as a advisor to a dark knight has him in a bit of a crisis. I cannot stop the brainrot rn.

It occurred to me I never posted my backup character! I’m currently playing her while my other PC is imprisoned in Ravenloft. Her name is Emilia and every time she brings someone back from the dead, she gets a Frankenstein-esque white streak. I think she is the party darling but it’s because her moral compass is a propeller hat. More in tags!

My dnd group does something funny with new settings in which we just kinda. Add new continents and places into our existing world. We started out with just the Sword Coast and then added Eberron, Fierda (I think that’s how it’s spelled), Barovia (we managed to un-evil-ify it with magical time shenanigans), and just a whole buncha settings. The yes, and of worlds

I'm feeling low, so polishing this one takes a while. I still need to fix things and figure out the palette. Or straight up changing M. Drama King's clothes. I am not satisfied. I like dancing. Dancing is good.

mmmmmmmm sad

i was really excited about my CoS game yesterday but a few of the players seem to be very fixated on getting to the next combat/room they can steal stuff from? and getting annoyed when my character expresses caution? I got interrupted once or twice while looking through some of the lore-related stuff or while trying to find an alternative means of doing something besides "charging right in." Like, not just the character taking off to do their own thing - the player interrupted me to tell the DM that we were going down a hallway. Like. Okay.

we were told this was going to be a roleplay/exploration/mystery heavy game and I'm feeling like that's only fine if it fits in the span of six minutes. And so now it feels like I'm the one making the problem.
