So, I recently went on a tour of the Baikove cemetery in Kyiv (established 1833) and we looked at many crypts/tombs 👻 there. Thought I might share some photos, huh?

The Capuchin Crypt is located beneath the church of Santa Maria della Concezione dei Cappuccini on the Via Veneto (Rome).

It contains the remains of 3,700 Capuchin friars buried by their order.

New Orleans photo dump #8- saved the best for last! Crypts and walkways at Lafayette Cemetary No. 1 with @kyle.belmont. This was part of our historical walking tour, sadly no one is allowed IN the cemetaries currently. I learned a lot about how these crypts were used for what was basically natural cremation, since as an originally Catholic city, New Orleans did not get an actual crematorium until 1971!
