Obscure Stand of The Day 64.
Tumblr media
Stand name: Unnamed.
Namesake: None.
Created by: Kouhei Kadono and Tasuku Karasuma.
Year of creation: 2021.
User(s): Pet Sounds.
Kazuki Karaiya (temporary).
History: Pet Sounds is a Parrot raised alongside the Falcon Stand user Pet Shop. Both were taken in by DIO after he killed their trainer. The Speedwagon Foundation rescued and relocated Pet Sounds. In 1999, Pet Sounds was stolen from its new home and ended up in Morioh.
History of creation: Pet Sounds and its unnamed Stand were created for the spin-off/ Part 3 sequel/ Part 4 prequel Crazy Diamond's Demonic Heartbreak. In which Hol Horse and Josuke Higshikata work together to capture Pet Sounds.
Abilities: Pet Sounds Stand can make people replay past events remembered by Pet Sounds. The ability is activated when Pet Sounds repeats a sound or voice associated with said memory. At one point, it causes Hol Horse to repeat his attempt to kill DIO on Josuke's grandfather and Josuke to witness the memory of Daniel J D'Arby's first interaction with DIO. When the ability is undone, it's visualised as punch cards shooting from the victim's body.

Trivia: While the Stand is unnamed in the story, through my own research, I have found that it may be named Seshat, after the Egyptian Goddess of writing, wisdom, and knowledge.

You know my first reaction to seeing the whole 'Keicho went to Egypt and kidnapped a bird' was 'with what fucking money??'
But then I thought about it some more and honestly, Keicho scrimping and saving for years to pay for an international flight to Egypt in the hope of being able to find some clue about Dio or his dad that the Speedwagon Foundation overlooked is pretty on brand for him.
And when the only new thing he finds out is Pet Shop's backstory (which while cool to know doesn't help him any), him up and stealing this stand user bird so he doesn't come back completely empty handed is also very on brand for him.
But lol at the Jojo wiki concluding that Pet Sounds may have been confiscated from Keicho by a cop. Nah dude he punted that thing out the window the very first time it kept them awake all night screaming because it's an ADULT STAND USER PARROT that neither he nor Okuyasu have the means or capacity to take care of while illegally squatting in an abandoned fucking house

This was something I made sometime last week but didn't finish it until today while I was at my volunteer program due to distractions. That being said, onto the drawing.
I know that "Crazy Diamond's Demonic Heartbreak" has been a bit controversial over the last several months due to how some of the characters were handled(I'm still not happy with how it handled DIO) or how the story ended, but there are some bits of Demonic Heartbreak that can be redeemed, such as Josuke's and Hol Horse's partnership.
Anyways, last week I was having a conversation with my friend @terrific-togekiss and we got to thinking about what would happen if my Jojo OC Medea was in the story.
In this case, she would be very uncomfortable upon seeing Hol Horse again because of her history with the Agents of DIO, as well as him(accidentally) almost getting her killed by DIO's Sepsis attack, and of course Hol Horse was shocked that Josuke's high school history teacher was Medea of all people, and poor Josuke isn't aware of these two knowing each other and having some bad blood.
I'd imagine that their relationship from this point on would be similar to Naomi and Navel from "Trauma Team", except it's a lot more awkward and uncomfortable between the two, and Medea's already married.
Medea belongs to Me

I got Crazy Heartbreakers!

Oh My God This Is Awful
This is just from skimming so far, but:
The story does not go into what happens after the manga's events.
Hol Horse still has his whole line about loose ends.
Pet Sounds (they finally put that space in) still does not seem to have a name for its Stand.
Karaiya is inexplicably called the Ultimate Singer. Not the Ultimate Thing, the Ultimate Singer.
We get a scene with Tomoko, and she says that she does not remember who saved Josuke. She doesn't even remember whether the blizzard was before or after his hospitalization.
It is implied that Josuke only did his hair up as a pompadour, respect for his hero aside, because his grandpa said that long bangs were bad for fights.
More updates to come as this national tragedy unfolds.
