Once again tumblr mobile continues to be a brick so I am submitting this little critter for inspection. My dad found them in his pile of laundry and contained it within a pill bottle, then had me come check them out. We put it outside.

iNat Seek says it’s a False Widow Spider but I’m not sure that’s the case? In any case, my location is in your DMs.

Well it's definitely a cobweb spider in the family Theridiidae which would include false widows in the genus Steatoda, but just from these photos I can't confirm that definitively. But it certainly could be one, it has the right coloration. They don't always have markings on the abdomen.

I am so sick of waiting for v50 adventure mode, are you?

I'm super excited. Mostly for the new party interface.

The adventure mode interface was even more convoluted than the Fortress mode one so I'm excited for all the new adventure mode players. Although what I've seen of the demo suggests the wait will be well worth it.

Favorite Color: People are going to tell me it’s a shade, not a color, but I don’t care about color theory, so it’s black. I just find it so soothing...

Last song: I listen to a lot of games’ OST and songs in general, but the last one was “Living Failures” from Bloodborne.

Currently Reading:️ A book by Racist Uncle Howard, “At the Mountains of Madness”.

Last Movie: I’m not a great at watching movies, though the last new one I saw was Dune (2021). As for the actual last one? Venom (2018).

Sweet, savory or spicy: Savory or spicy, sweet doesn’t tend to agree with me. Although spicy is a new one, so I guess things could change.

Currently working on: Nothing in particular, though I occasionally draw stuff when inspiration strikes.

So it's my birthday. My 18th in fact. I'm now a legal adult in the U.S.

I suppose a few thank yous are in order.

I'd like to start by thanking @biggest-gaudiest-patronuses and @pukicho. The two of you provided me plenty of laughs even before I was on antidepressants and Tumblr. Now that we have the Adams Family origins and the Grony fan fic from Gaud, and tax evasion and the curse of the windows vista background from Pukicho, I'm excited to see where we go.

I'd also like to thank @pmseymourva and @thyrell for actually convincing me to join Tumblr, and for bringing so many people along for the ride. It was the 2 cups vanilla extract that finally convinced me to join, but I wouldn't have seen nearly as much of Tumblr without Seymour and Cyana.

As for once I actually joined, I'd like to thank @crashional-thinker and @im-an-aroace-arrow-ace for showing me some of the wonders of this site, and for helping me find my footing here. Without the two of you, I might not have stuck around as long.

I'd like to thank @beebascloset for all of the experience and knowledge we've gained together. Over the last month or two we've grown closer than I ever thought possible, and you've been amazing since the first day I saw your blog.

And finally, I'd like to thank everyone who reads this, who likes this, who reblogs this post. You, all of you, are why I've stuck around for so long, and I can't thank you all enough. There are so many things that have changed in my life because of Tumblr, and none of them would have happened if this vast community hadn't encouraged me to join.

every single artist i know of has said at some point "UGH my art is TERRIBLE" and then proceeds to show a painting that could be copyright struck by leondardo da vinci

the "first digital drawing" that you supposedly created on the nintendo 3ds (it had a drawing app?) is better than anything i could come up with in paint.net. give yourself a pat on the back for once. you're skilled!

speaking for me,,, it is hard to do and receiving praise feels undeserved for the most part. we are our harshest critics and I have a hard time being easy on myself but thank you :)
