If I'm going to Spa-Con in September I should figure out if I'm going to cosplay or not. I'd like to, since the original goal was to have a costume to enter into the contest, but at this point I'll be lucky if I have anything at all.

There were a lot of Danganronpa cosplayers there last year, so I could put together a Monokuma of some sort. I've had a 60's mod Monokuma design floating around in my head for a while now. But making it happen ... that's the trouble. Also money. :T

I'd like to do a TWST cosplay too, but aside from sticking ears on my head and being Grim (which I did at Midsouthcon but it was very rudimentary and I'd need to jazz things up ... also can't wear that sweater in Arkansas in September) I dunno if I could be taken seriously as any of the characters. Too short, too round, too old.

It's funny because I've been on so many cospositivity panels, and whenever I see someone worrying about being too fat/old/the wrong color/whatever for a cosplay I always turn the positivity hose on full blast at them, but I can't seem to gas myself up that way.
