Strawberry Supermoon, June 2022
I exposed once for the moon and again for the water, then combined the layers in Photoshop. I'm not 100% pleased with the outcome, but with the hazy clouds in the sky I'll have to be satisfied.

If you've followed this tumblr for a while, you might remember when @shinsengumi-archives and I both played with the Artbreeder AI to create a "photo" of Okita Soji, using actual photos of Soji's sister Mitsu, his uncle Miyahara Kyugoro (his mother's brother), and his great-nephew, Kaname (his sister's grandson).
I've been wanting to play with that composite photo for a while, but have been putting it off because the art program I use on my tablet really isn't the best suited for this purpose. But I figured I'd give it a try.

Never be afraid of direct sunlight, embrace it. Whether that be early morning or noon, challenge yourself, and make it work. Just make sure you don't stare at the sun directly! Some of my favorite light sources is early morning sun that bounces off buildings or walking bridges windows, and that's exactly how these were lit at #c2e2!
