Community Filters and Community Guidelines

The Community Guidelines still state:

Adult Content. Don't upload images, videos, or GIFs that show real-life human genitals or female-presenting nipples —this includes content that is so photorealistic that it could be mistaken for featuring real-life humans (nice try, though). Certain types of artistic, educational, newsworthy, or political content featuring nudity are fine. Don’t upload any content, including images, videos, GIFs, or illustrations, that depicts sex acts.

The "Mature Content" Community label DOES NOT CIRCUMVENT THESE RULES. They explicitly state that your "Mature Content" with "Sexual themes" must still conform to the Community Guidelines.

I have no fucking idea what kind of artistic/visual content one could create with "Sexual themes" that doesn't violate Tumblr's strict rules, though.

Written smut is and has always been fine. In their examples, they suggest using the Sexual themes filter specifically for a smutty fanfic.

OTHER NOTES:

You cannot monetize posts that are tagged with a Community label.

I don't remember having to do this more than once. And I thought my agreement going forward was implied the first time I agreed to use this service?

Also, if these updates are so important, then why not just list the summary in the pop-up so I don't have to go web-surfing for answers?
