Throwaway line in a very early post where the gender of the partner didn't matter, and they were already broken up.

Now it's more giving Vanessa someone rooted entirely out of this whole situation, show that she had some life before getting wrapped into Glitchtrap...

#But either way she's ultimately a plot devise which is why I'm hesitant to bring her in #combined with again my hesitation adding in 100% OC's beyond people mentioned.#bad fandom experiences and all #even with someone like my version of tape girl being (like all tape girls) basically an OC in a canon skin #some of the off screen OCs. Abby. Vanessa's Sister and so on feel too far when I don't know if the audience would be there for it #I haven't posted fic in a long time and only have accidentally for many reasons....#but with Abby....she's gotten a lot of mentions....a lot at this point....#I'd feel bad not giving her a few times to get a word in for herself at various points #so we don't just rely on reliable narrator Vanessa.
