Maison Bulle (Bubble House), Vexin Area, France,
Jean-Benjamin Maneval (1923-1986), French architect and urban planner, made the first sketches of his six-shell bubble house in 1963 : a little revolution in the field of prefabricated housing and foundation- less architecture.
Produced between 1968 and 1970, this house, which has a surface area of 36m2, is formed by assembling six independent reinforced polyester shells.
Originally, the architect had imagined these bubble houses as secondary residences with an ergonomic design for a family of four, where the space in each alcove would be optimized to the maximum.
In 2014, a non-conformist collector acquired at an auction an authentic 1968 bubble house by Jean-Benjamin Maneval. It is installed on his family estate, a former stud farm, for which he has given the artistic direction to KIF, an interdisciplinary creative studio formed by Guillaume Furet and Mélissa Louis.

Elvis Presley’s One-of-a-Kind Gold Ebel Watch !
The singular bling features an eye-catching jagged strap, a bezel encrusted with 26 round white diamonds and an interlocking chain lining one side. On the dial, meanwhile, blue hour markers provide a bit of contrast.
Legend has it that the late icon gifted the one-off to his close pal and backup singer J.D. Sumner. He even had the band of the rarity engraved with the message “From Elvis to J.D. Sumner, 1974.” Presley was known to present his family, friends and colleagues with tokens of appreciation, but this may be the most extravagant item he’s ever given away.

Gonna say this as someone who has been critical of Game Freak both as a fan and as someone with a Pokémon SPIN for a while now:
Do not support Palworld.
The CEO of Pocket Pair, the game’s studio, openly supports AI and even made a game where making AI-generated art is its main mechanic.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Palworld is not Pocket Pair’s first instance of plagiarism, either. Their previous game, Craftopia, plagiarizes Breath of the Wild, whereas as its upcoming game, Never Grave: The Witch and The Curse, plagiarizes from independent developer Team Cherry’s game, Hollow Knight.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
On top of stolen character models and concepts from fakemon artists, it’s already known that you can put Pals through what is basically slave labor BUT what’s been recently discovered is that the game allows you to capture and sell humans. This has been raising some red flags for black gamers looking into these mechanics, me included, considering this factors into the established slave labor system of Palworld.
TL;DR: I completely understand being tired of Game Freak and the Pokémon Company’s lack of polish over the years, but supporting something that is just as devoid of polish and even more devoid of ingenuity is not the way to make those criticisms clearer. This will only encourage more soullessness in the industry.
I implore you to support other creature collectors with some real passion behind them; I will reblog this post with recommendations shortly!

Because polls get the most engagement I’m making a poll lol
(For the sake of this poll: a collector is anyone who *currently has* a collection of things either physically or digitally that they intentionally acquired which can be grouped together)
Please please please please pleeeeeeeaaaaaaase tell me what you collect and optionally why!!!! (This is doubly true if your collection is related to a regulatory/“special” interest!!!!!!! That’s honestly the only reason I’m making this poll, I am begging youuuuuuuuuuu
Neurodivergent related tags are for reach as I know a lot of neurodiverse people are collectors. I do try my best not to clutter those tags, if anyone has an issue with it please tell me and I’ll remove them
