MC's Wedding Clothes
A note to keep in mind: MC was allowed to dress following Irish traditions, so they were free to choose a dress, a vest, a tunic or any other type of clothing regardless of gender. Camelot is a bit more set on gendered clothing for nobles, (peasants and knights dress much more practical) but Gwyar assured MC they could wear any type of clothing, more or less covering to their tastes.
Here are some examples for loose reference (but TKH is not very historically accurate in this, and you are free to imagine what you like as well)
Camelot clothes
Mixed clothes

Dp you have any good source for clothes and fabric?
Oh yes! I have a few snippets randomly posted in here throughout the years (should be under clothing reference or fabric reference tag), but one of my favorite resources for a lot of design related things is Visual Library! Among the huge selection they provide, they have sections dedicated to clothing by type and style. The only downfall is that all the references here are drawn ones and not images taken from life. I have yet to find a good reference library for live photo references of fabric types and how they drape and fold. My solution for that has been to create what I needed from materials I had at home and take photos myself when I've needed to see how something drapes or falls. Plenty of live references for naked poses out there, which I can understand, but we need to know how to draw clothed people, too! I will reblog this with an update if I ever find a nice resource for a variety of live fabric types.

I really like Animal Crossing: New Horizons' clothing options so here are (almost) all of them nicely organized to either use as reference or to reblog and ask people to send you a character with an outfit to draw! (I spent way too much time putting this together please appreciate my efforts asdff)
All the individual pictures are taken from this wiki!

I saw we were sharing clothing ideas 👀 I'm not sure if they fit the vibe of the IF itself but they are in my MC's pinterest board (those are some of the revealing ones because my MC wants to fluster as many people as possible <3)
OMG they fit the vibe perfectly!! Very see through, embroidered with pretty motifs and maybe even with jewels... totally the over the top fashion style for this IF and indecent enough for our shameless MC!
And now I am picturing the scandalized reaction of basically everyone when MC goes out and about with that much skin/scales showing...

OOOOHHH YESSS I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR AN ASK LIKE THIS
For R's dress it would be something like this but with the first and 3rd pic's shape. (With silver threads, flower embroidery and birds)
For her bracelet I was inspired by this one
For Hobie's outfit and hat:
(ofc with the matching red waistcoat)
This one
Or this one
I tried to keep this historically accurate but there's probably some inaccuracies here lol but where's the fun if it's all historically accurate 😉
(btw it's mid 1700s to early 1800s if you want to research some more!)

Here's a website with shopping catalogs from 1940 to 2017!
You can use its search engine to find items in individual catalogs. This is useful if you want references for fashion, toys, or other items from a certain time period.
For example, you can look for dresses or plaid clothing from the 1970s:

Just as for Ryder, Karin only has one true "signature" look, that one being that last one, as it was featured in the book. I generally like to give him a dapper, edwardian/victorian style that makes him look out of this time and world, and loves to take care of his looks. Very prim and proper looking, but also androgynous so not strictly bound by gendered fashion

Outfit Design Challenge!
The Challenge: make two original outfit designs (one for each) using only your imagination and the individual collage for reference (no google!)
(I guess I technically can't stop you from looking outside the collages or combining them both into one outfit, but like... pretty please don't)
The body chosen to wear the designed outfit (blorbo, OC, mannequin, self, etc) is entirely up to personal preference. All creative mediums allowed (AI "artists" will be blocked and reported)
My reason for making this challenge: I made these two separate reference collages for two of my OCs while redesigning their outfits, and I became curious how other people would interpret them. I would love to compare other designs to my own and see how they end up differing from each other.
Disclaimer: The designs you make are entirely your own and may only be used by others (including myself) if you (the artist) give permission to do so. That being said, different designs are likely to look similar to one-another due to shared references, so please be mindful of this fact before making any accusations of theft.
